#Watchmework | Start To Finish Wig-Making | Hand-Sewn W/ Sewing Machine | Celie Hair

Hey guys! In this video I’ll show you all how I made a lace closure unit for a client with a 24” head size. I kinda finessed this but I will be getting a larger wig block head in the near future to serve my larger head clients. I showed how I incorporated the sewing machine as well since I was beginning to use it for wig-making.. I show how I double wefts before sewing on wig cap.. I also showed you all how I quickly and easily installed this custom lace closure wig as well!

Hey everyone, so the hair that I'll be using for today's wig comes from Seelye hair. This is four bundles of their loose deep wave hair after links 2022, two buns of 24, along with the matching 18 inch lace closure that I had already went ahead and bleached. The nuts on, and I tend to delay, see everything so my client, her head size, is actually 24 inches in circumference. I only have a twenty three point: five inch dome head. So what I'll do with this cap here is I'll. Just use my teeth, pins and stretch the cap a little bit just so that I can achieve her head size and that is sent snug and comfortably for her. The lines that you see on the cap. I did do those lines myself. They are my guidelines for track. Anneliese closure placement. I think that this is perfect for beginners. It just helps. You know, wait with wig making, I think so. From my personal experience, I've learned a lot off of the internet as of lately, and this is just one of the things that I started incorporating with hand making lace wigs. Another thing that I started incorporating was the use of my sewing machine. I currently no longer can make my wigs, but I do I do make them on the sewing machine now, and this is one of the first things that I learned how to do, and that is doubling my left. It just helps with a flatter unit. It'S not as bulky or full G with doubling my left's this way, and I did show you guys how I pre thread several needles hum just so that the wig making process can go a lot faster and I don't have to sit there and rethread a needle Or anything of that sort, so yeah, I'm pretty much, am sewing my doubled webs on to the lid cap and I'm following my guidelines. I do cut left just so that I can have a flatter install. I don't necessarily have to do that, but I just just you know: lately I've just been you know doing different and new techniques. I'Ve been watching a lot of videos. I'Ve been doing my research on you know the best way to handle it awake, and I found that doing it like this honestly saves a lot of time and it results in such a nicer quality unit. So yeah, I'm just gon na show all of my bundles onto the wig cap, like so following my guidelines and yeah I'll come back with some more talking points, if any, oh well, so I'm just showing you guys how I secure the left. I usually secure the ends of the West before I cut it like so just to lock it in place, and I'm just showing you guys that this is the first two bundles and look at how nice this wig is coming out, and I am just going to Continue to sew like like so all right, so we're pretty much done with the unit here, I'm going to simply cut the excess capsule underneath that lays like so and I'm going to go ahead and use this curling wand to just flatten out the lease closure. A little bit and mold apart into the lace, my client, she wanted a little part. So that's what I'm going to give her okay. So now the wig is complete. I'M just going to use some water and some mousse in the spray bottle just to kind of define the wave pattern a bit look at how beautiful that hair. Just oh, my gosh, it's so freakin pretty and the hair is so soft, oh my goodness so yeah. This is the completed unit gosh, it's just so pretty. I did go ahead and I installed this wig on my client. So I'm going to show you guys clips of that. I braided her down. I gelled her edges down using some edge control from amber J, so I'll link that it's controlled down below is one of my favorite s, controls to use and yeah. I actually sold the unit down using the stitch method. I didn't really like go around the perimeter of her hands, so the wig down. I just used a few stitches three stitches, two on the side and one in the back just to secure her wig. It fit perfectly perfectly and this unit, like the wig, the closure, everything just looks like it, looks like an install guys like it really does, and I love that so yeah. This is the hair and the hair is actually completely dry in this clip. It'S so full. It has his natural luster to it, and the hair is super soft. My client fell in love with this hair actually, and I was kind of jealous you know. I wanted to keep it for myself, but he gave the client what the client wants so yeah I'll leave the link down below to this hair. If you guys are interested and I'll also link my website down below, if you guys are interested in me, making you a custom unit, I no longer hand make them. I make them on the machine now, but yeah that's pretty much it. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and found it helpful. I'Ll, see you in my next video thank you for watching bye.
