Hi everyone it's Lehman with lace, covered Skies, I'm here today with a video which will consist of a little bit of an unboxing, even though this is in a bag and um we're going to be doing we're going to be making a project with what's in this Bag, so I was sent some items from gravy. I will have their information in the description box below and I am going to unbox this and give you a little bit of a review and show you everything that I got. I'M super excited because I've been wanting these for a long time. Um you'll see what it is, but it's going to make things a lot quicker for me and I've had this project in my mind for a while - and this is a perfect thing for it. So let me go ahead and unbox this um, I will have their information, like I said in the description box below. If you want to check out either this item or any of their other items um, they did give me a code for you guys for 15 off your order. Yeah, I believe it's, your entire order. 15 is pretty good. So if you use the code lace 15, you can get 15 off your order and that will be in the description box as well all right. So, let's get into this. So this is the company name and I did choose these out and they sent them to me to unbox and review and they are seriously so adorable. I really love the quality of this company. Everything is really pretty very pretty and quality. It looks very quality. So the packaging is super cute, this it's kind of like a stamp here as part of their packaging. I'M definitely going to be using this in a project in the future, but they're, basically all stickers and there's a lot in here there's one two: three four: five, six, seven eight different packs and I believe, they're all there's 40 pieces in each pack. So let's go ahead and look at the different images. They are stickers, which I love, because I don't need a fussy cut and I don't need a glue. So it's going to make things a lot quicker. So there's this one! Okay, let me make sure I'm in focus and in frame. I hope the lighting is okay, all right, so there's that one and this one this looks like the green, like the Green pack, with a little bit of yellow and white. So there's this lady. These look to be vintage retro and some retro. Ladies so adorable, I love this one, for I would say this is a 70s look and this one there's two of each and then this one, I'm gon na, go through a little bit quicker. I am in love with these, and I like that, there's so many in here, because I won't be hoarding them. Most of them are mid-century. The images are so elegant. I love that and, as you can see, it can basically fit in the palm of my hand. All right, but let me just flip through the rest of these pretty quickly because we'll be here forever. If I show you all of them, I love this one. Oh my God! This is a fun one. This makes me get in the mood for summer, even though summer is a long way off all right. So let me just kind of stack in here. This looks like it's going to be a red pack. Oh, my God, there's one with men too, which is nice, because I focus on lots of images with. Ladies, so it's going to be nice to have some images of men. These are going to be so much fun to work with. I think my favorite are these types of dresses that look like they're from the 50s. I like this one too. This gets me in the mood for Mad Men. The show this is a fun one I think she's holding a fan. This looks a little bit more formal love that one. So let me just quickly go through the rest of these okay. I only saw one of these not sure if it got lost in here somewhere. Let me look for that one later, this is oh, I think she's right here she got left in the bag right here. She reminds me of the wife in Mad Men. This is super cute, all right. Let'S go look at this one, some boys, this guy in a hat another little boy right here, so it looks like it's a mix of men and boys and it is a matte finish on the stickers which I personally like can't wait to do. Use these in junk journals, but to also do collage with them all right now. I think this is the one, so I did take a sneak peek before the video. I think it was yeah this blue package, because I could not resist and so that I could plan my little project that we're going to do, but I am going to go a little bit quicker because I want to have time for the project. Oh boy, we're already 10 minutes in this looks a little bit from a different time period right there, and this kind of I guess this reminds me of like a little bit more modern. I think I might be using that one love this. I love that they're separated by color, although I might end up mixing them, I'm not sure how I'm going to store these um, but I really like that. It'S super organized and there's so many of them. This is a fun one. It'S a more formal! This is more 70s all right, so we have blue and then we have this one, Maybe Pink so fun. I can't wait to think of different projects for these. I love this one and this one. This might be my favorite package so far. Just because pink is my favorite color. I love this one. It'S just so fun love that love this. So, as you can see, there is such a cool variety. So that's! The pink package looks like we have a black package right here: kind of neutral Gray. Two, this looks like an older time period as well as this one. This is a fun one. Okay, sorry, I'm like all over the camera. I like that some of them are turned away like this. That might work for what I'm I'm working on today, yeah that might work for what I'm doing today I mean I do kind of want a more of a forward-facing, so it's more of a focus, but you guys are going to see what I'm working on and See why I think this might be cool, so there's two images in here that are facing away. I think I will use them because I think it's going to be perfect. Okay, this video is getting pretty long. Where was this one? Hmm? Oh, it's stuck together. Oh, my gosh, okay, all right, let's go into this one quickly. This is more tannish yellow. I would say I have the pattern that this comes from and I love it. That'S one of my favorite images. The sewing pattern that she's on the cover of that would be so cool if I could find um the patterns that go with these, that would be super cool. I have so many patterns that I don't remember um, but I think I'm definitely gon na keep an eye out and try to remember. I love this. This looks I'm not sure what time period That's from. Oh, this is cool too how she's looking away but she's forward all right and then the last one right here. This is a white pack, of course lots of wedding images in here. That'S fun, she's sitting another wedding: this is so cool and so 70s. Can you guys hear the rain outside? It'S been raining cats and dogs here the last two weeks. It'S been raining more days and it hasn't. I live in California, so that's very rare for us, but it has been raining Non-Stop. I love this. This is so different. Can you guys hear the rain all right? I'M gon na have to remember this, for if I ever do a wedding Journal, because there's so many wedding images in that white one all right. So what we're going to do today is - I am taking an image from where's that book from this book that I thrifted a long time ago, because that thrift store does not exist anymore. But this is a book about curtains, a book all about curtains Window Fashions. I have two of them. I love them. I'Ve been hoarding them, but today I'm gon na use some of the images in here I plan to do a tick, tock video using one of these black and white images, and I'm going to be coloring them up and doing some fun things to give it more. Color, more color and more of a design. So if you want to see me make another one of these today, if you like this video check me out on Tick Tock Enchanted Paper Cottage, but for this video I'm going to be using one of the color images and I already picked it out. I just wanted to show you a little bit of what's in that book. We are going to be working with this image right here, so I'm going to go ahead and fussy cut this out. So I got my car not too long ago, and I mean I hope this is I'm not gon na I'm gon na try not to be too chatty, but it just reminded me because it's raining so hard, but I've been getting water in the door. Jamb has that ever happened to anyone um it's not going in the seal, but it's going um, there's only one seal that seals the door off from seals. The door off am I in frame it seals the inside of the car off, but the edge of the door still gets water in it. So does that happen to anyone else and it's it's a new car, so I don't know if they're making it less quality or whatever I mean it's a good, reliable car, but I don't know why water is getting into the door jamb, even on the doors that I don't open and then it seemed like one day it smelled like mildew. So that's ever happened to anyone. I would love it. If you would um comment down below I'm getting it checked out. I have an appointment with the dealer tomorrow, but yeah. I do not want mold to be growing in my car, you guys, if you, if there's anything to know about me, I mold is my mortal enemy. I do not like mold all right, I'm going to be using that and a piece of this acetate right here to make a clear Little Seal. That really didn't make sense. So you can just watch to see what I do, because I I feel like. Sometimes I'm really good at explaining, and sometimes I'm just like so scattered all right. But I am cutting the acetate to fit the outside of this image and I'm going to cut across the bottom, because I want it to be a pocket and then I'm just going to make sure that whatever's peeking out now we are going to because it's acetate. I don't want to use glue because I'm I need a little more security than glue, so I'm going to use this um double-sided tape that I cut into smaller pieces here, thinner strips and let's go ahead and line it so that we can tape the acetate onto Curtains, I wish this um this double-sided tape, which is my favorite, because it works really well. I wish it came in um, thinner, strips foreign. I have bought um. I have bought double-sided tape from the dollar store, but it's much thinner and you get less of it. So it ends up being a worse deal. I think this thicker amount or this thicker size in a larger amount. So that's why I cut it like this. Okay, let's get in a few more strips, I feel like this is very slow going and I'm just taking a lot of time. Taping on this video. I hope that's not too boring, but I want to make sure I have a good seal. I keep saying seal. I think, because I was talking about my car earlier, which is a few more strips - I'm probably overdoing it a little bit, but I really tend to overdo when it comes to gluing and taping, because I want it to be extremely secure all right. So let's go ahead and peel off all of the double-sided tape. What'S your favorite glue for um for gluing things down onto acetate or plastic, I feel like the top. The blue tombow glue is pretty good, but when I do that, I tend to sew as an extra guarantee um, and I didn't want to sew this one. That'S why I'm using double-sided tape all right. Let me my little trick when I, when I put things down like this, is to just peel off the top and then line it up and then peel off the rest, but because this was in so many different little pieces that I didn't do that. So let me try to line this up correctly here and it's so hard because it's like invisible, I'm gon na do one corner one corner line it up exactly and then go on to the other corner press it all down and then go ahead and peel this Off along with this, so we're gon na press it down. So now what we have is this little window situation um with clear acetate right here, then I am going to be cutting a little journaling card and I'm literally just picking out a card that I have nearby. Let'S cut off the length not that much and then we're gon na put this down now. What I'm trying to do is I am trying to leave enough room back here to tuck something in so I'm just going to narrowly put tape down the sides, and I hope I can be narrow about it, because I don't want. I want to leave room so that a card can be tucked in. So if you have any more of this dinner tape, okay have a little bit. So let me really try see and now I'm kind of second guessing myself. I think I'm gon na glue and then just actually I don't want my my needle on my um, my sewing machine to get sticky. Okay, let's go ahead and go with this, so I'm gon na be very close to the edge. I hope I'm in frame trying to stay very close to the edge so that there's room for the card and I'm going to be really close to the edge here there we go. Oh, I need to do the bottom two right. Actually, I'm just gon na put a little tiny piece on the bottom, just so that the card doesn't slip out. But honestly it's going to be such a tight spot that I doubt it's even going to slip out at all. So there we have that I'm gon na. Actually I have some cards cut out, I'm going to make sure that they fit in here. So it looks like I'm gon na have to make them a tiny bit smaller. So let me see, let me see if I can measure twice and cut once make it that thin, because I don't want it to get stuck all right, so we're going to go ahead and tape this down and now. So the reason why I want this to be clear, like this little area to be clear, is because you'll see in a second I'm going to cut this down, make sure I'm cutting straight here. I feel like I'm, the only one that has trouble cutting straight with the paper cutter all right see if this is going to slide in okay, it's a little bit tight. Okay, I'm gon na make it a tiny bit thinner. Let me first go ahead and mark the other two just gon na make it a tiny bit thinner than that, so how has 2023 been going for you guys? I truly hope it has been going well, let's hope for the better 2023 and and a better 20. I mean a better foreseeable future. I think that would be nice after last three years that we've had it looks like that's gon na work, I'm gon na go ahead and cut this down as well and make this a tiny bit smaller, and what I'm going to do. I have here some National Geographic Magazines with scenery in the back. These magazines are from the 50s. So it's going to work great with the images that I'm using that I showed you earlier in this video and what we're going to do is go ahead. Let'S start with this one, I'm just going to glue this piece. Actually, let me measure this to know how long it needs to be, and I'm just going to cut it. Let'S make sure that's straight cut these strips down to size so that I can glue and onto this and what I'm trying to do is make pieces okay, it's hard to explain. So let me finish doing this. I'M just making sure I get a lot of glue on the edges, because I don't want it to lift and let's put this right here, I want to get like a good image. I'M gon na try to make it flush to the edge there and glue it down. You guys know I love using plastic when I do sorry about that. Sorry, if that was loud all right and once this dries I'm going to cut out this strip now. This is where I feel like I'm on a cooking show. I already prepared strips of this and I already prepared another of these cards with this curtain. Okay, so there's acetate here and there's a little opening up here, so we're gon na work on this one and I already did the whole the different strips with the different um pieces of scenery. So here we have night time here we have a little um bit of water: here's some mountains, here's a black and white image and a little bit of snow and some trees and a house in the background. So what I'm doing, because I am make this is a journaling card, but it also will go into here, I'm going to make a little tab and then I'm going to put one of these. Ladies looking out the window - and I think it'll be really cool that there's different pieces of scenery that whoever uses this journal can exchange and journal on, and it's going to be different views that this lady is looking out into. I think that's going to be really fun, so let's go ahead and put some tabs on there. So I have my little ephemeral holder here and let's go ahead and pick out some tabs all right. Let'S see, we need one. This map one will be cool. Actually, I know it's too blue, maybe this map, since there's more on it yeah. I like that because it's like the C kind of or I don't know if that's actually the C but and this is kind of interesting - this is like a winter scene. So I'm trying to look for something that'll match a winter scene that'll be cool, it's kind of blue and this night scene here. Can you guys hear that rain? Hmm, all right! Let me I'll do that. One later, I feel, like I'm running out of time, all right, so, let's glue these into place, I'm gon na put it on the top so that it's easy to grab onto it foreign. So what I would do is do that to all of them, but we're already at 45 minutes, so I'm going to move on to The Next Step, which is to put glue this or stick this lady onto here I'm trying to decide. I think I like this one, so let's go ahead and take the paper backing off now it is a tiny bit difficult to do that, so it's easier to grab onto the sticker part, because it's more give and once you do that it's much easier. So it's easier to pull the sticker part off instead of trying to get onto the paper and pull it back and I'm going to stick her right here. Let me make sure her feet are going to match the bottom. I'M going to stick her right here. Looking out the window, so she's looking out the window right there and I'm going to stick this scene in and I think that makes such a cool tuck spot now the glue has not dried, so I don't want to yeah but yeah. I think that's super cool and each time that a different card is pushed into there, you get a different scene. I love it all right now. I'M gon na push it on this um on this video and we're going to make a little envelope to store the different scenes in so we're just going to make a quick little envelope and foreign. I guess it can be stored this way, all right, so we're going to go ahead and fold it there and then Fold It Down, and I'm going to trim this off to make it more even - and I want to use one of these. Ladies, I do want one that is not so tall, because I want to make her a tuck spot so that she can be a little closure for this envelope. Hmm, I think one of these little guys will work, but I want one from the 50s. These guys look a little bit before the 50s. I think this one will work so we're going to use him and make him into a little bit of a tuck spot right here. So I'm going to stick this onto cardstock, let's go ahead and stick him onto cardstock and fussy cut him out, and in this case I will be gluing, because I want this image to be on a heavier weight paper so that it can hold down the flap Of the envelope all right, let's go ahead and ink up this envelope a little bit. This ink pad does not have that much juice in it, because I do like to have an ink pad that's a little dried out for when I don't want inking. That'S too dark and I'm going to go ahead and glue down the sides of the envelope on the very edges so that the papers can fit in. There did over this side and let's go ahead and glue that down and along with having him as the little tuck spot. I do want to decorate this with more, ladies, because that's the fun of these stickers right, there's so much fun to work with. So I think I really want to kind of just do a collage. I don't wanna overthink it too much. I just want them to and I think they are going to show up a little bit sheer. So it's going to be a little bit sheer through the book page, which I think could be really cool. Maybe I'll do like that. So he's kind of looking at her, and let me see how I want to do this, because I need to cut her so that she's gon na go on top half and the bottom half, let's go ahead and put her like so make sure I'm in a Frame there make sure I line her up correctly. I think she looks really good on that book page and then let me just double check because I'm paranoid, you know what I could do since I have two of these stickers. I could put her inside too so that when you open it she's on both, I'm not going to do that. Just because I need this to be open, but that's a really good thing about getting two of each of these stickers. If you want to do something like that now, let's go ahead and ink the rest of this there's some natural aging on the paper already all right: let's go ahead and glue him down and I only want to glue him partially. Okay, I'm gon na have to look okay, so there we go now he's going to serve as a tuck spot close this envelope. But let's let him dry for a little bit now. I am going to go ahead and put this in onto a page. I think I like this page, because once I glue it down these, this envelope right here is just going to tuck into the back of it. So let's go ahead. Let me cap this up, put some glue down here and I want it to be near the top, and this one is just gon na tuck in behind there and it's going to be functional because it's going to house all of the different seams but yeah. So I think these stickers are super pretty and so much fun to work with and when I do a flip through, I hope you'll come back to see how the different scenes look inside of the pocket here. But thank you again gravy for sending me these stickers. I love them. I think they're so much fun to work with and I'm so glad I picked these.
