Hello welcome everybody. Thank you so much for clicking on my video. I noticed that my last video on how to pluck a lace closure was very popular and I had a request on how to install a lace closure for sewing. So today I will be making the tutorial for you guys to watch and learn and yeah. Just let me know what you guys think at the bottom like subscribe and stay tuned for more videos all right. So after you have plucked and bleached your closure, you are going to line it up on your client or your models head. Make sure that your client is holding the closure. It will definitely save you a lot of time. It will save you the hassle and it will keep your closure from shifting back. When I first started two enclosures I've always had a habit of not holding it, especially on myself. It was kind of hard for me to hold it and when I would go to sew the sides in the back, it would shift back and then that's when you see the closure starting behind the braids or the hairline, and you do not want that to happen. You want to look as natural as possible, so what I do is when I'm selling my closures, I like to sew my lace quilters with two needles. I use one needle for one side and I use the other needle for the other side and it's okay to have your client reposition her closure or hold it tighter. I was actually telling her to hold it tighter because I felt like it was moving when we were selling. So it's okay, just tell your client and if they don't understand why just let them know that it's to keep the closure from shifting backwards. Okay, so I so about halfway on one side with one needle and then I switch over to the other side with the other needle and I do the same thing and then it's kind of like a tug-of-war thing. So here goes my second needle, and you want to make sure that you're, starting at the same place of the closure on both sides, for example, you can see that I did not start sewing at the very top of the closure, because if you sew at the Very top of the closure, once you get to the back and all around the perimeter of the closure, it's going to slide back and it's not going to look natural. So you want to place your closure a little bit further up from where the braids start, but make sure it's placed evenly on both sides as far as you pulling it up, if that makes sense, okay, so once I finish sewing down this side, I go back To my original side, where I started sewing halfway through and I continue sewing it down all the way to the end, so just continue watching and you will see it's literally like a game of tug-of-war with closures, just to make sure that it is tight on both Sides, as you gain experience and start doing, your own closure so ends you'll begin to create your own technique in order for it to work for you, but this is what works for me. I'Ve been doing this for a year and it's just so much easier. Instead of sewing it all the way around and then once you finish your closure, you realize that one side is looser than the other or you have bulges or you have little bits. This just keeps it super flat, tight and neat okay. So, as you can see, I never went to the back of my closure on both sides, like I said before, it's a game of tug-of-war, so I start I turned my model around just so you can see how I'm sewing the bag once you get the size Down nice and Tex, the back is just plain and simple. You just continue doing the same thing that you did before, but with the bag, you're gon na do less stitches on one side, so you're on a so on. One side, maybe like once or twice in the yo, go to the other side, and so so it really just depends on you, like I said it's just a game of tug-of-war, just make sure it's tight flat and needs so that there isn't any bulges and also Make sure that your client is still holding the closure, because, when you're sewing in the back, it's so easy for the closure to start sliding. So if she's not holding the closure at all, she definitely needs to be hole in the closure when you're sewing in the back or don't pull as tight when you're filling the bag just make sure it's it's firm enough, so that it can stay still, but don't Pull too tight or you or else you'll pull your closure back all right. So once you are finished, you just want to tie a knot where you finish, sewing it and cut the string. Do not cut the knot that you made because you'll be very upset. If you cut that knot - and they just start all over again after all that hard work, take your time guys all right guys. So we are done sewing the closure, and I want you guys to look and see what you guys notice about the closure exactly. It is on an angle, it is not centered. Do you guys remember in the beginning of the video when I said, make sure that your client holds the closure and do you guys remember while I was sewing, I said I noticed I felt like the closure was shifting a little bit by that time. I had already started sewing, so that's when I realized the closure to have my client hold it. Make sure that when your client is holding the closure, she is holding it firm enough so that it does not start moving. Okay guys. So don't worry. This closure is fine, I'm going back on the sides to tighten it and try to adjust it as little, but you should always do this with your closures, always double-check your closure and make sure that it's tight, even if you're done sewing it, make sure it's titled Around double-check but anyways, this is not a huge deal because it's going to be a center part, and you know it's still. The closure is still centered enough for me to part it in the center. So by the end of this video, you won't even notice that it has a shift in the closure all right. So once your closure is down just go back to the front and make sure that it is still tight, you're gon na be going back and forth a lot of times with your closure, just to make sure that it is in place, make sure there's no flat Lifting in the front and yeah all right, so, as you can see, I parted horizontally when the part where I want the closure to be, for example, she's gon na have a middle part, so I parted horizontally down the middle. The side part you're gon na part horizontally on the side or if it's a curved part, you're gon na part curve horizontally either way. You'Re gon na make a part wherever the parts gon na be and then after you're gon na make a vertical part of the one closure over top of where the first braids are in the front. And then, when you do that, you're going to sew. Over top of that, the reason why I do that is so that the closure does not shift backwards. Although the closure is tight on her head, she may start parting, her own hair. She may curl it and you don't want the closure to start lifting. Yes, when you put a closure in um as the hair starts to grow, the closure starts moving with the new growth, but this is for like if she starts styling her hair, you don't want it to move. You don't want your closure moving when you just got a fresh, so ends no, so this is my I braided, so that the closure can last even longer and so that she can get more wear out of her closure. As you can see, I've already stitched on both sides now for wine back to when I said the front to breathe those two braids when you're braiding down your clients, hair for our closure install those are the most the two most important braids, because that is where Your closure is going to sit, so you want to make sure that those braids are smaller. You want to make sure that they are tight and you want to make sure that they're closer to the hairline, not too close to where you're ripping their edges out or anything. But you want to make sure it's sitting nice on the hairline so that when you go to sew it it's flat and seamless all right. So for the remainder of the video, I won't be talking as much everything that I do is basically a visual thing and it's all about preference. With these last few steps, you'll see me customizing her baby hair, laying her closure back down, because I did have to report it to center it out some more. You will also see how I curl her hair and how I style it and you'll see the finished. Look once it's once it all comes together, so yeah continue watching the video. Let me know what you guys think and yeah all right. So, as you can see, her face is be hunted. Her makeup is popping her hair is pen. I thought I made a video of me curling the hair, but I didn't, but if you guys would like to see a video on how I curl hair and pin it up, then just comment below and let me know but wait, wait. Wait don't go anywhere, because I want to see that and because she is shopping all right. So this is the final look of her transformation. I did make another video on how I did her makeup. I'M most likely going to call it transfer me from basic to batty. I don't know stay tuned, but yes, I have a video on how I did everything it's a cheetah's so gorgeous like oMG, I'm so obsessed. So obsessed. Look at her! Yes hunty! She is laid by lex and she knows it. Yes, girl, you better work, alright guys!
