Today'S video is going to be a tutorial on this wig that was sent to me from yolisa i'll have all of their information, the promo codes and direct links down below in the description box. In addition to my wig, i received a hair wrap headscarf, a wig storage bag, a pair of eyelashes, a removable elastic band and a wig cap. So the wig that i received is a 24 inch water wave, 6x6 hd lace, closure wig. The knots on the closure are pre-plucked, but they're not bleached. The wig cap construction includes three combs and an adjustable strap. So the first thing that i'm going to do to this wig is bleach. The knots of the closure i'll be doing this off camera, using a 20 volume, cream developer and bw powder lightener. So now that the knots are bleached it's time to remove some of that extra density from the hairline. This is always optional, but i do want a more realistic look to the hairline, so i'll be doing the beige method of zigzag, plucking and parting. For this step me me now that i'm fully satisfied with the hairline it's time to tint the lace i'll be grabbing. Two different colors of lace, tints spraying, the one that is an exact match to my foundation around the hairline and spraying. The lighter one, which is the color of my scalp on the inner portion of the closure, i'll, be doing two different layers of each lace, tint and then i'll be blow drying in between each layer. So today i'll be styling, this wig by doing two cornrows. So i'm going to start off by doing a middle part after that i'll be doing a diagonal line on the left and the right side of the part, then i'll be cornrowing the hair straight back. This is a six by six lace closure. So you can cornrow a little bit further back than i did. You have six inches of parting and cornrowing space. However, i did want to stop at a certain point and leave some space so that the hair can cover the tracks in the back of the closure. So now i'm going to get started. Styling this hair i'll, be grabbing small sections of hair detangling. It with my detangling comb, then grabbing a spray bottle of water, fully saturating each section with water, i'm going to grab a curling gel and then i'm going to use. My denman brush and the curling gel to get these curls and waves to pop, so so now that i'm finished styling the hair. It'S time to add some personality to these cornrows i'll be grabbing. These gold jump rings i'll have the links down below in the description box grabbing them. In a pair of scissors, i'm going to use the scissors to force the opening open. Then i'm going to decide where i want each ring to go. I decided that i want the first two jump rings to basically drop downwards towards my face, or my forehead and all of the rest of the jump rings will be going backwards and falling back towards the cornrow. If that makes any sense, so i'm going to basically just decide where i want them to go and then i'm going to press the rings into the cornrow and that is going to secure the clamp and secure it into the hair. So, of course, with this hairstyle you can get completely creative. You can do more than two cornrows you can, instead of adding braids to it like i did. You can stop where the cornrow stops and then put a rubber band there and allow the rest of the hair to drop freely instead of braiding it from root to tip like i did, you can add way. More jump rings to it. You can add jump rings. All the way down the braids, if you're, not the best cornrower get a friend to do it, get a family member to do it or you can cornrow twist the hair as well have fun with it and get creative okay. So now it's time to cut away that extra lace i'll be grabbing a pair of scissors, making a slice down the center of the closure. Working in sections is perfect for beginners, because you won't be so intimidated to cut the entire thing at once. So i'm just going to grab my scissors and cut close to the hairline, but be careful not to cut away the knots okay. So now it's time to install the wig, this is going to be the most straightforward, most beginner easiest install ever because my hair is straightened underneath and i don't want to put any got to be on my actual hairline. So i'm just going to grab the wig place, the wig on my head in its proper placement and then i'm going to grab got to be free spray spray that on the hairline of the wig, do some baby hairs and then put my head scarf on for 15 minutes. 15 minutes later, i'm going to take off my head scarf to reveal this beautiful hairstyle. I am obsessed, i feel like a goddess. I love this so so so much. I love how easy it was to melt the hairline only using the spray. I love how beautiful these curls are. I love the hair length. I love the overall look. It'S one of my favorites that i've done this year, i'm grabbing a hair polisher to complete the look, placing that in my hand and then basically adding some gloss and shine to the hair to complete the look - and here is the finished.
