What'S up ep crew welcome back to my channel. If you are new here, my name is erin, also known as aaron, also known as ep, and today we are back with another affordable sleigh. As always, this video is sponsored by lanky hair on aliexpress. They sent me three bundles and 26 inches and a closure and 20 inches. It is a 4x4 and brown tinted lace. We are going to start with the plastic bag over the mannequin head to protect my mannequin hat from the hair glue. I'M going to fit this mesh dome cap, this wig cap onto the head perfectly going to stretch it out; no lumps no wrinkles. You guys had a lot of questions in my last video. My last quick weave video, and these are the mesh caps that i use. I do i don't use spandex dome caps um. I do like these caps, preferably are my favorite. It don't matter what color we're gon na use some hair glue. It really does not matter what hair glue you use um. I got some t-pins to put the lace closure into place, so we are going to be sewing on this closure because the bundles are heavy 26 inches. Three bundles can get heavy on a wig cap and we're gon na fit all three of those bundles in there. So we are going to sew this closure on. It is optional, but i prefer it when you have longer bundles. I start the needle under the wig cap. I do sew through the spandex band, just because when i cut the cap off, i don't want any um. I don't want the wig to kind of get loose or it to be moving all over the place, so the knotting through the wig cap does help and i'm just going to show a demonstration of how i sew in knot, especially for my closures. I do like to not after every weft, because once once the one string comes apart, the whole closure will come apart on you, so i put it under the cap. I don't go over like i don't go through the closure. First, i go under the cap, so the knot and everything is just not bulky, and then i take the end of the string and i wrap it around like twice and loop it through and it makes its own knot. I continue to do that throughout the whole closure um. I am going to stop in the middle of the closure um and show you guys kind of why i do that. I like to stop in the middle of that closure and knot it and then start a new string, because sometimes just over time, um a thread will pop or you're combing it out and the thread comes loose and now you have a whole closure. That'S lifting off the wig, so it helps it for the wig to stay in place. It helps the wig the closure from shifting and being like shorter on one side than the other, and it just prevents from if a string, pops your whole closure won't unravel on you over time and for those who have been asking me about my eczema or even People have reached out to me to give me words of encouragement or kind words or even advice on products to use for my hands or how to get rid of it just to update uh. I guess it's doing kind of better um. It'S just kind of hard to keep up with eczema on your hands, because i have been washing my hands a lot lately, so i get a flare up to get crusty and i just nothing i really can do about it, but treat it after the flare up Goes away so, like i said before, um mind your business and let's make a wig and let's stay tuned for the rest of the video. I would usually recommend not sewing this closure. The way i'm sewing it like on this other side um, because if you don't take that extra step to keep pulling that closure back, you will get lumps you can start from the beginning of the lace, all the way back to the middle of the closure. But i've been doing this for so long, so it's nothing for me to just keep continuing on sewing in the same direction. It does have some tedious work. As you can see, i have to keep pulling that closure tight. So there is no lumps and there is no like side, no weirdness going on to the closure and it lays flat. I do start on the elastic band. When i start gluing, i don't glue the tracks onto the wig cap. I put glue on the wig cap and then put the tracks on it's just a lot easier for me when making a wig uh, it's just it's just what works best for me, um. I don't have any cons about this method, except for you kind of will end up using a lot of glue this way, but it is best because it ensures that these tracks are not going nowhere, and this wig will hold up through a wash will hold up Through detangling and just hold up a while, so i place the tracks on top of the glue and then i blow dry to make sure that it's just sealed in place, and it doesn't take that long for this glue to dry. Maybe about a couple like a minute or so barely 60 seconds until you can move on to the next track and the way that i'm placing these tracks, i am putting one side a little bit higher than the other. This is intentionally to be a side, part wig, but i am going to make it a versatile wig to where i can wear it, basically on any side without it looking funny or down the middle. So, by doing that, i like to start straight in the back from nape to nape or like behind the ear to behind the ear, and then once i get above, where my ears would be, i start bringing the tracks up a little bit higher, so it can Kind of fall in my face, but to the point where it's not, i have a whole bunch of hair on one side. So when i do eventually try to swoop this wig into a middle part, it will not look uneven or crazy. The hair will still fall evenly down my face from like ear to ear, so that is a good method. I don't know if you can kind of tell i try my best to show you guys, like one side is a little bit higher than the other and that's pretty much all there is to it it's just i'm taking a track at a time. I'M not missing. No track so the little pieces that i do have i'm still putting them in there. I am keeping my tracks really close together, because i am trying to fit three bundles in here originally if it was um thick wefts or i wasn't trying to fit that much hair in there. I would do about a finger length apart or maybe about an inch apart. I would put my tracks, but today we're going to fit three bundles in there and i am promised you at the end. I will show you guys how to get this wig flat and so stay tuned for the end of the video, and i will be installing this wig and how i style the closure and everything. Oh and to answer some more of you guys questions from my last video, you guys asked how long do these wigs last so the last week i made only lasted three weeks due to the hair itself being really crappy like it was shedding and matting, and the Wig itself just wasn't cute anymore, but holding up wise you if you take care of this wig like take it off at night and put it up. It can last you as long as you want this wig to last, like i expect this wig to last me. Some months before i see a track slipping or by the time i need to wash it, i think i will catch a couple tracks that could be glued back on or glued down and that type of nature, because conditioner will cause the glue to slip. So if you do want your wig to last long, just take care of them and when you wash them, try to stay away from the roots and the closure um. That'S the only thing that would cause really these tracks to slip and like wear and tear over time, detangling combing out um, but gluing on a closure. I do say, maybe about three weeks: the heat and the sweat and the product will eventually cause that glue to slip. So if you're gon na glue that closure on, i recommend doing that. If you have just like you, don't plan on wearing this wig. For that long or you don't plan on keeping it for that long, you got some synthetic hair or you have a mix blend and you're just trying to make a wig out of it. That is um. You know very convenient, but this is some human hair and this is some decent hair and i plan on keeping this wig for a long time. I plan on trying to get this week to last six months to a year and that's with maintenance, which is um fixing little tracks that are slipping, keeping up with it, taking it off taking care of the hair. You know conditioning it and using the proper products for the color um, but it's really up to you. You can make the wig last as long as you wanted to is me so now that we've laid all those tracks, i'm going to give it a dry and then flip it inside out and take the bag off and then give it another secure dry with the Air dryer, i usually will let it sit for about a day or even a couple hours, but if you're, in a rush like i always am blow drying, will speed up the process, you guys had a lot of questions. So, yes, i am going to cut this mesh dome out of the cap, i'm just trying not to cut too close to where i have sewn, or that i've glued the closure down and just wanted to show you that there is an elastic band built into the Wig, so it should be secure and not go anywhere. You can always add combs an elastic band or anything that will make you feel more secure. You definitely can make this wig a glueless wig. So this is what she's looking like just trying to show you guys that she is versatile. I can move her to the side. I can put her to the other side and i can even put her down the middle and she will still look good. This is what the hair is. Looking like, let's get into the details about these bundles, so this is 26 inches. All three bundles 20 inch closure and it is in the color, 1b, 30 and 27, so it is ombre, bundles and um yeah. So far, the hair is extremely soft. This lace is tinted brown and a little bit thick, so it is a kind of hard to work with, but i will show you guys some tips on how to tint that lace to make it blend. So i'm just using got to be simple, install and um blow drying it on cold. Hopefully, try not to get no casting and we're just going to cut that lace off. I am using wax because we're going to try to get this wig as flat as possible. Um, i do have my hot comb on not super hot but kind of medium, because i don't want to burn a hole in my lace or i am going to be continuously using heat and i just don't want to heat damage, the hair and the closure or The frontal because it will start to bald yes, if you put too much heat on that closure, all the time you're constantly it will start to bald and just going to use that spray to tidy up any spots that i've missed and boom. It'S kind of melted, pretty good. I did kind of pluck this closure a little bit. I tried to get it on camera, but it didn't work out too well and we're just going to do some sledge and while we're doing the baby hairs and everything i'm going to give my initial review of the hair. I give this hair a 8 out of 10.. The color was beautiful, um the length was true and it is some very decent hair and it's affordable. I think this hair would came out all together for three bundles and a closure. I think when it came out to barely 150 or 160 dollars um, i believe so for the length that i have for 26 inch, but i'm pretty sure it'd be cheaper. If you got different lengths, um so yeah all that will be listed in the description uh. I definitely would spend my money on this hair. I have worked with lanky hair before and their curly hair is very decent. I haven't tried their straight hair, but they're like deep wave and body wave is very nice. It is very soft. I can say, though, since i'm doing this voiceover, i have won this hair for a little while and colored hair will always need extra care when it comes to products washing and how you take care of it with heat, and everything like that, if you continuously put Heat on this hair that blonde at the end will eventually break off and that's the problem i was having. I was curling it um for like a couple days back to back, and i did start to notice that that my ends with that bleach will eventually break off from heat. So i'm gon na um try to keep up with it as much as possible and use heatless ways to curl my hair, which is like flexi rods and stuff, like that and i'll be sure to have videos on that. This is the part that i wanted to show you guys um. I am going to be using concealer on that part because i don't want to pluck it's already a pre made closure, um and yeah. So i am using wax and i'm using foam to try to get that hair flat as possible and i'm going to be using heat. Protectant just want to show you guys the natural curls. This hair is so beautiful, and this is my tip to hide that lace. The brown lace is, i come in with a foundation, that's the same color as my skin and i come and just gently place it on top, but that's pretty much it you guys. I really like this hair. I really like this company the wait time. Wasn'T that long and it was very decent - this color is just beautiful, it's a kind of a good ombre job. It does look quite kind of like the picture um i can say the 30 does have little spots of blonde like little strands of like blonde through it. So it can look a little bit more lighter than a 30. So it's in between a 27 and 30., but it's beautiful. I love it. This curling one i'm using is um. I will have it linked in the description. I don't even remember what brand this is, but i did get it off amazon for like 10 bucks. I wouldn't be surprised if it's andy's, but yeah you will have descriptions to all the tools i used all the products i use and the link to this hair in the description. Thank you guys so much for watching. Please go check out my most recent videos and i will leave links to the video if you would like to do it in middle part or a different type of way.
