I-Part Curly Wig - No Glue, No Lace, No Leave Out #Shorts

I’m learning so much about i-part wigs and I’m pleasantly surprised and the flexibility. ➰

Those who know me and have followed my hair journey since the beginning will know that I’ve never been a fan of wigs for me. I love my natural curls and rocking it as much as possible.

Since Mum life hit me I have been looking for more ways to feel like ‘me’ on the days I don’t have time to go in on my own hair. I don’t always have the same time I used to have for my curls. It’s for a season and that’s ok.

This I-part wig and my other natural hair clip ins are really opening more options for me. I never saw the day coming when I would be wearing a wig of some sort, yet here I am. Learning, testing, trying and seeing what I can do differently in this season with the new hats I have to wear.

It’s interesting how as we grow, hit new milestones and experience different things, and our view on some things can change. I’m still not any way ready for a full on frontal or lace front and all the rest. I don’t think I would even know where to begin. Lol. I’m giving myself the grace to change my mind and grow and adapt still in a way that allows me to be authentically myself.

The fact this (invisible part) i-part wig can still give me a look that’s like my hair (on a great day), yet with no glue, no lace, no anything, and you can still see the scalp…It’s a game changer for me.

If you’re a lady like me who don’t want to fully commit to the wig life but want more hair options, this is one to consider.

How i achieved this curly, look, i washed and conditioned the hair, and this is me with my own hair and i just wanted to put it away as a bit of a protective style, so i braided it in four sections. I then decided to slick my edges so that it would just look a bit better. I think, for the look i was going for put my head scarf on, of course, and this is literally such a helpful mummy. Look for just when i want to switch it up and i don't want to deal with my hair. It'S literally just clips with this eye parts wig. So it's an invisible part wig, but i didn't like how it looked just as is i was like nah. I need to style this up and use some bobby pins just to make the part look even more realistic, and then i cut it because i just felt like it just it wasn't given with that extra hair. So i made it a bit shoulder length and now i'm loving it, then you can also wear it with a side part - and here i use some mousse just to define the curls even more and i loved how it dropped.
