The Formfit® Ankle with Speedlace by Össur stability and protection for the ankle – whether used prophylactically, for chronic instability or following an injury. Made from durable materials, its low profile, quick-lace design is comfortable and fits easily into shoes. Removable semi-rigid stays provide additional support and the straps are designed for inversion/eversion control.
Formfit Ankle w Speedlace, Fitting Instructions. Loosen laces and unfasten all of the straps. Insert the foot into the brace so that the tongue is on top of the foot and the heel is located in the heel. Opening. With the foot slightly flexed fasten the laces to a snug fit. Wrap the inside medial figure-eight, strap across the top of the foot and under the heel and fasten using the contact. Closure. Repeat: for the outside lateral figure-eight strap. Adjust the straps for a comfortable and supportive fit. Wrap the elastic circumferential strap around the ankle, covering the laces and ends of the figure-eight straps
