How to Hide Your Shoelaces, tuck shoe laces, shoe hacks every man should know, shoes, shoe hacks, men's shoe hacks

Heyyou, i'm suppr demons where stylist ashley weston joined by my partner and husband, dorian, hey everybody today, we're gon na show you the four best ways to tie your shoelaces on all types of shoes, including dress, shoes, sneakers and boots. So, as we've been saying for years now, tying your shoelaces improperly or just kind of sloppy or poorly really, I mean it can really distract from your outfit. Let'S start with method. 1. This technique is great for all types of shoes, including sneakers, dress, shoes and boots. First make sure the laces are tied from the outside in not the inside out, as you can see right now, I'm tying it from the outside in so the next step. You just want to tie your shoelaces, but choose one side of the shoe. It could be. The outside or the inside, that's where you want to tie the knot and the final step you want to tuck them to the side of your shoe like this, it's okay to have the knot exposed a little. It will still look clean if you tuck them in well enough. They will stay put all day now, as you can see, the final look is super clean and looks a thousand times better than having those bunny ears exposed moving on to method shoe. So this technique is only going to work for shoes where the insoles can come out a lot of shoes out. There especially dress shoes and boots their insoles already glued down so not possible. But there are some sneakers out there, where the insoles you can actually remove them. So if that's the case, then you can use this technique. Ok, so again for this method, you want to make sure the laces are tied from the outside in so the next step, is you want to take the laces and tuck them underneath the insert or insult? The final step is put on your shoe like normal, but just make sure to use a shoehorn, because you want your heel to crush the back of your shoe. This can damage your shoe over time. As you can see, we have another clean look here now. This technique definitely won't feel uncomfortable at all. So if method, one bothers you a little bit, then definitely try method, two, okay, so moving on to method three, this method is great for dress, shoes and sneakers and as actually brought to you by today's sponsor straight laces. So straight laces is fantastic. It is just an incredible way to lace up your shoes and whether it's sneakers or your dress shoes and have them actually kind of act like slip. Ons there's elastic in the laces themselves, and it just has such a clean look to it. I can tell you, as a user of them, no BS. This is the best way to hide your laces, because they are basically designed to do this and has Ashley said you basically get to turn every shoe into a slip-on and, of course we want to give you guys a nice little chunk off of your purchase. So you use offer code weston twenty four twenty percent off your order and just pick them up. You will thank us and them so for this method. You can lace your shoes any way you want. So for the dress shoe. I use the straight bar method just because with dress shoes, typically since they're formal, I want to use a formal way of lacing them and that's definitely the straight bar method. Now for your sneakers, I use the crisscross method because their sneakers - and this is the typical way you would lay sir sneakers it just feels more casual and appropriate for this type of shoe. Okay, so now that you've laced your shoe the way you want you're gon na add this small clip to hold them in place. So you're going to have the small clip go all the way down, so it sits right against the side of your shoe right there. That'S what's gon na hold your shoelace in place and you're gon na take your shoelace and leave it through the two other holes that you see once you've done, that it's time to cut the excess shoelace so just take some so and cut the shoelace, but leave About two inches of extra lengths: the reason why you want to have that extra Lane is because, once you slip on your shoe, you may want to adjust the lacing to either tighten it up or loosen it up. So this just gives you that little bit of wiggle room, the final step is to just use a shoehorn and slip on those bad boys. As you can see, it's a super clean look and now you never have to worry about lacing your shoes again and I think the best part about this method number one. Actually it's easiest out of everything and you never have to worry about it again and number. Two they make laces that are also round or flat, so it works for any type of shoes now on to method, for this method is fantastic for, dress, shoes or sneakers is just not going to work for boots step one. You want to make sure you do not have your shoes on. They need to be off in order to do this method. You'Re going to take your laces and you're going to tie them normally now just leave a little access room, because what you're gon na do now is you're gon na take the tied places and tuck them behind the tongue. Next use a shoehorn and slip in your feet into the shoes. Look at how clean this method looks thanks. So much for watching we'll see you the next one, bye

Mens Fashioner: Got questions for us? Ask them here: https://mfer.link/ytcommunity

Dom C. Ouano: Straight laces are amazing! Found them on this channel actually, several videos ago & had to grab em. Setup was actually easier than I thought it would be. Literally everything you guys recommend is straight up awesomesauce.

Kelan-Erika Reed: Another great video guys! Would love to hear your opinions on spring and summer formal wear!

Stene Art Studios: Great vid. Been hiding my laces since I found your channel 3 years ago. Looks super clean and crisp. Going to get this accessory for my Vans.

Sli: I love hiding my shoe laces even on dressy leather shoes looks so classy

Thomas Tozer: V. useful video and clearly presented - thanks !

Alojzy Żyrokompas: Absolutely love it! Thank You!

Mark: I literally bought so many straight laces accidentally just now I need more sneakers for it to make sense :D go well with me new Koio shoes I bought yesterday, thank you so much for the help

Jesse G: Thanks Ashley and Dorian for making this video. You have changed my shoe game. “CAN I GET A HELL YA”

Robert Lee: Totally agree with last comment. It looks unnatural to have laces showing but no knots on shoes

Scott Feucht: Great video guys. Thanks for the tips!

Wassim Metallaoui: I ordered some for every pair of shoes. They are legit

MuZe MsT: Perfect!!! I just started doing this

Tejas Kondgekar: Searching from hours finally found thanks

Sean Jean: Been doing these a while now minus the elastic laces.

Xavier Harris: Lol I was literally trying to find out how to hide my laces when this was posted

Alex: I’ve tied a knot and cut them for ages too!

Peter Griffiths: Decent idea at 3:50, to be fair to you! Thanks!

HousewerkAudio: Cut my laces! no way. I use the tuck method. Watched this to find a hack but have been doing this forever.

Kevin: Great video. I was just wondering the other day on ways to hide the bunny ears.

David Garcia: This means alot to me my laces get caught on keys when operating clutch and I've fallen off step on semi truck onto my back, thanks so much!

Shou Biao Kuang: Ash’s fashion sense is back !

Gyani Admi: Really helpful.

Rainy Midnight: Every look is CLEAN and classy

PG Plays Video Games: You guys..geez I now have FIVE pairs of straight laces. Two for my dress shoes, 3 for my winter boots - ESPECIALLY winter boots because you're bending over tying them up and still they have all this extra lace material drooping off the sides. Imagine winter boots becoming slip on boots! Awesome! But what I have been waiting to say is that I get my shoe shined every 5 wears - Alternating shoes means every two weeks I shine my shoes at the hotel near my office. And when I first put on the straight laces, they noticed immediately because they didn't have to tuck in my laces! They could just go straight for the leather soap and also they noticed how clean it looks. One of the girls even said she would get some for her husband. So the word is spreading :D I'm now waiting for different colors for their casual laces, so I can replace my runners laces

Leroy C. Reed: I'm going to actually use these!

Holky M. Syaugi: Wow, Amazing tips...

Football_Talk: I came across this video and I can’t stop laughing my God people still don’t know how to tie laces what is going on

Abhisek Backup: I always do the last one

Edson Adrega: i Hide Laces with straight lines since my 14/15 years old,i am professional!

Craig Sawyer: The last tip is not for those of us with high arches.

Gou.: Can you please make a video on height insoles and elevator shoes? Or something about height.. Please.. Thank you..

Street Rossi: OMG i always thought how people on magazine did that , now i know.

B M: The coupon code for Straight Laces doesn't work anymore, unfortunately...

Matthew King: Really enjoy the channel in the content and a learned a few things from it. I’m going OK Boomer on this one though. Tucking laces in is always uncomfortable these other methods don’t give you the proper fit. The straight laces are pretty cool but require having a shoehorn around at all times. Bunny ears all the way and if a woman walks because of my lack a of fashion sense, she can keep walking.

Scott Sandifer: 0:50 I'm sorry. Maybe I'm a little slow, but you totally lost me on _outside_ _in_ vs _inside_ _out_ in this part. Are you talking about lacing, or tying here? Also, do you mean _outside_ _in_ laterally? As in left side of left shoe, right side of right shoe? Or do you mean actually down inside the shoe?

Michael Arnold: Literally anyone who’s gone thru basic training has been tucking their laces ever since. My “okay boomer” moment, if you gotta teach millennials how to tie their shoes, their gen-x parents have failed them.

Supertomiman: Another advantage of this that you didn't mention, sometimes the laces are overly long and they can drag on the ground. If you're a guy you're certain to go pee at the urinal at some point during the day, and if your fluffy white shoelaces are dragging on the ground when you do, you're in for a nasty surprise.

Visqo Gomez: I gotta try those straight laces

Josh Poi: Great video, but gotta say, I think bomber jackets look childish on men

blackimp88: Do you have a link to Dorians jacket?

SkiddySm: When they cut the laces i gave up all hope for them

jkay07: excellent breakdown

Joseph Yen: Way more uncomfortable and imo most of the time the shoes looks better with laces out

Yandhi420: Dorian's hair looks on point

Truthseeker: ...but..but.. Bunny Ears and I have known each other for so long....and they look classy.

Jose Delgado: Tucking them in ok, cutting them, you bugging !

Franco Iannelli: I just stick to method 2 lol

Chiquita: Elastic laces for boss level game

E Prince: 3:54 where to get the clip?

TORRES, HANNAH JOY ILOSO: Why am I watching this my shoes doesn't have laces HAHAHA

ERIC K SUMARNKANT: it's funny how we we're taught the opposite when we we're grown-up

Justin Lau: What brand is the white sneakers shown in the video?

Me Too: Aureus Shoes had some lace shoes but slip on sneaker style. I don’t know what happened to Aureus

terracelady: If you hide them in your sneakers that would be very uncomfortable walking around an amusement park all day with no socks on

Jansen Marasigan: What clip was used?

Dan Riverso: What jacket is Dorian wearing?

Michael LK: Hiding shoelaces is the woooooooooorst. Why are people still taking info from these substitute teachers

Jono32: What are those dark brown boots?

C G: I tried the product advertised and the laces were too thick for the eyelets of all my dress shoes. I'm returning them.

Bleak: Bro is like every male cast member of the MCU mooshed into one

ecoyt1: @AWxINC, The Reid sneaker is on a flash sale for $109!!!

Brylle Lagunda: Very confusing as 5 videos are simultaneously tying...

Aaron Daniels: Honestly, I prefer the knot being visible - I personally feel this is taking looking neat/clean a bit too far

Jaykay: She talked for over HALF of the video before dude got a full coherent sentence out. He only talked for 20 seconds-ish And this is "MENS Fasioner"???

Mirage-: I'm sorry but the only that makes sense is 1 imo. 3 is a sponsored gimmick which even damages the laces, and 2 & 4 make no sense for anyone who actually needs to walk properly in the shoes, rather than just snap an instagram photo or 2 and then take them off: you're tying the laces before fitting the foot in, which means they'll be nearly always loose (else you won't fit). And you can't readjust it later either, without having to repeat the process. At this point, just buy a pair of chelsea boots, at least those are designed to be worn unlaced and have an elastic band for fitting in without needing a shoe horn and probably damaging the shoe anyway.

Zack Lopez: Never will tuck in

Barrettfloyd82: I tried them all. Didn't like any of them. I'm sticking with old school bunny ears.

utarian7: I like tied laces. Adds character.

Mr pleb Potato: Oh my god GET TO THE POINT you talk too much

Art Vandelay: How many people really notice your laces, though?

Ripon Chandra: Look so nine

Zakop999: 0/10

Donna Couzynse: slow down how am i suppose to learn if you go ninety to nothing it sucks

QWERTY QT: What unbearable people.

Hex: dude my names Dorian also

Charles Von Ray Sarmiento: Pota ginupit

Trend Hooper: First to comment
