What'S up y'all, it's a dasha, key, andrea and i'm here with another video, as i promised i'm gon na keep them coming every week, i'm not gon na slack. No more y'all got my word on that. Getting into this video. This is a 6x6 lace closure. The hair is provided by maven, hair, amazing hair. You guys this closure was everything i am doing. My ball cap method at this moment and i did use the special bond adhesive in some cheap helmet head spray to go ahead and mold that cap down and then i'm just going to go ahead and throw the tracks in the back with the bundles. In the back, we're only using two bumps today and there are 12 inches, so we're going for a natural look today, um i just got ta relax the roller wrap. You know type situation, so what i did was. I did my ball cap over my ball cap. I put my weaving cap and i sewed it down to the exact measurements of where my closure would lay and i cut off the excess. So then we can go ahead and put the bundles on the back, while our closure is being bleached and things like that. Typically, i already have that done when my client comes, but there are some times or situations where my client doesn't live in town or they have to work or something like that. They can't get the closure or frontal to me a day or two ahead of time and we end up doing it the day of the appointment. So when that happens, i like to save time and whatever bundles i can get in um with eyeballing that it's not going to get too close to my closure, because you always want to leave a little space to make sure that you know you didn't go too Far or it's gon na fit, if that makes sense um, so i went ahead and put one whole bundle in and before i put, the second bundle in i'll probably go in and put that closure on. So i wanted to test out the hair and see what type of curl it was going to give me since we were working with 12 inches. I wanted to make sure that i can get that whole um bouncy kind of marilyn monroe way, but not really. I was going for more of a southern university dancing, doll, type of um, curl, they're, so bouncy and so movable, and i love those curls, especially on this natural length hair. We didn't cut it into a ball. We just left it what it was. So that's what i'm doing right here and it's saving me some time too. So all i have to curl is the last bundle and the closure. Whenever we get into that so yeah um, i got the bundesliga and i did the curls. Let me see anything coming up. I want to talk to you guys about because we're pretty much at the standstill in this video um, no yeah, i don't know i guess i ran my mouth too much. Last video didn't doesn't happen to me. I ain't got no tea or nothing. I'M just dry today. So yeah watch me curl this hair. So here you guys i'm going to cut off those tabs from the sides, because if you want your closure to lay like a frontal, you must remove that bulkiness and that balconies meaning those little tabs that be on the side of the closure. Um. You can go back as far as you need to go. Some people remove the whole thing. I don't remove the whole thing, because i like to sew on that tab for the portion that i'll be sewing down, so i just remove the portion. That'S going to be that i need to lay flat now, if i was doing a side closure like where i wanted to go behind the ear, i would remove the whole thing so anyway, um i'm using my special bun adhesive. Like i said, i ain't gon na keep repeating myself the truth period. Waterproof humidity, sweat, resistance, y'all gon na say just get into the smell y'all gon na see like meltdown just on a trillion like it's. Just everything like hairline was on point. Oh reminds me. I tried something new y'all. I was scared. As i was scared. I ain't lying saw erica j. Do it she said cliff, did it to her when she got her hair done. I'M like okay makes sense. I'Ma try it, but i was scared. I didn't know if it was gon na work. Thankfully it did so. I'M high combing the hair back so that i can go ahead and get that milk in, but, as you can see even before i cut off the lace. That thing is just this: it's just scalpy, looking like i didn't, have to add no makeup to this lace or anything like that. It blend with her skin. It was already giving me scalp tones because she's light skinned. It is not transparent, but the brown of it is very, very light. It wasn't a medium brown, so i really liked that um i don't like when customers bring in medium brown lace. I don't like when companies seen medium brown lace, not every girl of color is medium brown, so you know i prefer transparent or hd to work with, but if you have to bring me regular life, you know regularly bring me the light brown like you know. I prefer to not make my job so hard. I mean we can blend and work with certain things um, but it makes life a lot easier for me and you, if you get laced to match your skin, because you can definitely or easily darken lace with tents and makeup. But it's it's definitely hard to get a darker lace to blend. So after i tied that down, i went ahead and sewed my closure down and i like to go from one side to the back of the middle and then start on the other side and meet back in the back of the middle. I do that to create or prevent any particles and buckling of the closure, so they don't like flatten things when you part through it, you don't have any like lumps in your part, because that ain't too sexy or nothing we all want that. So always make sure you start from one side work your way to the back and then go on the other side and work your way to the back. So let's cut off this plate, so y'all can see what i'm talking about see special behind the heat. So y'all it's like the special barn created between your your scalp and that lace. Once y'all bond and y'all meeting y'all have that experience girl, it's what we call melted, it's what we call over. It'S done with put a fork in her she's complete she's. Now, going from your scalp y'all have married each other. So if you want to to marry that lace to your scalp, if you want disappearance i'ma need you to head on down to www dot, glam opulence dot looks if you can't spell it: it's gon na be in the description box, just click the link and get You some get you some honey. Like i mean why miss out what what else are you doing? Go ahead, get you a bottle or two and and get this look or another look either. Look you get. It'S gon na be melted right period, okay. So this is what i'm talking about y'all. This is so what you do is you take a little bit of the glue and you're going to put it on the edge spread it out. Just like you would, if you would doing it before you put the lace down, you don't use too much. You just use a little bit and whatever tool you're going to use to spread it and where this seam in your scalp meets the seam from the lace. In your scalp means you're going to touch it up there, so, instead of lifting up the lace and trying to get the glue underneath there with whatever tool you're using, you can put it right on top. My concern was that it wasn't going to dry clear, i'm like oh like what, if it don't, because i'm the type of person i'll take a whole i'll, take the whole thing off and start over. I'M not gon na. Have no i ain't sending my clients out there messed up, i'm not gon na. Have no janky closure up front or nothing like that. If i'm dissatisfied, i know my customers are satisfied, so i'ma fix it. So at this point i'm nervous like, is it gon na dry clear, like you know, what did i do trying to copy, and you know what i'm saying i ain't gon na say copy, but trying to learn new tips and tricks and - and i could have possibly Just messed up, but i didn't it actually dried, clear and, as y'all can see, special bonding came through again like she just she's scalpy, like it's the tea honey like what else could you expect from from this book, like it's just growing from her scalp? If you don't feel that way, maybe you need some lucas. You know some binoculars or you just hating whatever, but i know what i'm looking at so we're going to go ahead and pull those baby hairs down. I'M just doing two on the sides, like i said, we're gon na do like a natural look or whatever um deep side. Part. Definitely get that thing real, flicky and nasty or whatever you know how i like to do so um after i do that i'm going to spray again with my cheat helmet, hairspray y'all. I really like this spray. It'S really good and it smells so good. Oh, my god, it smells so good. It smells like you can wear it as a perfume, not that i recommend it. I'M just saying it smells like a floral scented, um perfume, and i think it does say something about botanicals on there, but um yeah. So i'm just going ahead and get those baby hairs out the way after i've sprayed with the cheek helmet head spray and tie it down with our wrap, strap, also found on www.glam optimus. That looks when shoes are untied and things she stuck. She stuck stuff. She melted nothing more that you can do to get that thing, melted other than using your pressing, cone and stuff like that. So we're going to go in with our present calm, because you know we want the ultimate. We won't can't nothing else, be done like if you thinking in your mind that you can do something else. Do it like you want to go to. You can't go no more like sometimes you know the clients, you know, get a little patient damn this takes so long or whatever, but you know as a perfectionist you gon na get that thing right. So they're gon na appreciate that at the end. So take your time do what you need to do to get that thing. Looking the way you need it going in with my hot tub from kendra's boutique um, it is set on the highest setting, because i am used to the marcel um pressing home that you put in the oven um. But you have to be careful when you're using such high heat, you don't want to burn a hole through the lacing. You don't want to burn your clients. So if you're uncomfortable with that and but you're used to using flat, irons and stuff on 450, then just do that turn it to 400 450. But i like mine on high heat the higher setting this one has is 500. So once i got that part set, i just pressed it out we're using the waxed it smooth it and blended pomades stick. I also found on my website um and i have some other products on there. Like i told you guys before go ahead and check that out, you won't be disappointed, um. Let me go ahead and put this out here, because i don't even think i i said it. I don't got too comfortable within myself that i'm forgetting to let you guys know this as if you've already done it, but i know some of you haven't done it. So let me let you know if you're not or if you have not already subscribe to this channel, go ahead and do so don't just watch the video subscribe show support share if you must like comment but like i say you won't, be disappointed new videos coming Every week um, like i told y'all last time, i'm about to start blogging everything's about to change so go ahead and subscribe to your girl. Give me some time to get some things together and you know we're gon na rock out so um also follow me on my t-top twitter instagram at adacia glam and my snapchat at glam opulence um. I went in y'all and i did my baby hairs with the phone. I did not have the phone that i normally use, which i swear by, which is the honey phone by influence i ran out. So i tried to use um the same brand, but it's a. I want to say coconut one um. It was more watery, so it didn't give me the mold that i wanted. So i did go back in with my olive oil gel or whatever just to make sure that i secured those baby hairs um. It didn't give me a crunchy or hard look or anything like that. I still got the soft look i was going for, but i needed a little reinforcement um. I do like another mousse. I don't know why. I grabbed didn't grab it, but i do like the marshmallow extract. Styling moves by design essentials. If you guys haven't tried that one try doubling it as well, but my ultimate favorite um, even over nairobi, is the influence honey, foam, mousse um. Thank you. If i still had the bottle, i would have inserted a picture for you guys so that you can see it, but i will put the link in the description box. You do have to be um licensed to buy these products. I do think they do retail them. Um to non-licensed people, but it is at a different price um, but it is worth it definitely so copy. Some of that, because a good moves from baby hairs it. It really makes a break how it's going to look when you take that wrap off like if you use a mousse. That'S too watery, it's not going to mold it. Those are the looses that i kind of use like on my curls and stuff, but for molding you want something with a little bit of consistency to it, like you know something a little thicker, but this pretty much all completes this look um, i put some curls In it finger combed them and she was a wrap, that's right, a little sheen spray. I used my design, essentials, silk and shine. I want to say, if that's not the name of it, it will be in the description box and i hit her with a little bit of holding spray, which i i like this one, because it's a humidity blocking hairspray. So you don't have to worry too much about freezing and things like that. So after i clean that black um, not that black, we don't want a black part after i clean that part up with my black tray. Sorry, i can't talk i'll be multitasking while i'm doing this, but after i cleaned that up, we was pretty much done so imma, just let y'all get into this until the next time. Uh you
