Hd lace is like it's rough nobody's, really really stressing this. What'S up, everybody welcome and welcome. Back to my channel, my name is hera moet and today we are doing a crimping tutorial and a part, two review for these extensions that i got from dr scalp, make sure you check out my part, 1, unboxing and first impressions that video will be linked in The description box below, as you see right now, i'm just checking the knots i did bleach these myself. This is a 6x6 hd lace. Closure. So main part of this review is going to be giving you all some game and some tips on hd lace. Maybe some things that you might not have known of before pretty much with crimping the hair. The main thing you need is patience. It does take super long, so you guys are going to see me sped up and then i'm going to slow it down. For you guys at the end, so just watch me work. The method to the madness for the closure area, in my opinion, is all in the parting. So i have a middle part and i do three sections on either side. I always take one section if i'm crimping or if i'm curling and i use some of the hair from the closure and then the top track, so we have no gaps there. Then i have a second section, as you guys see, and i have it parted parallel with the middle part, that'll fall over the ears and then the top one as well. I know you guys also see me going in with that hot comb. I don't even go all the way down, it's all about the roots, so i'm using my wax stick and my hot comb. It'S actually on the highest setting. For me, it's a 20 with this andes, electric hot comb and just want to make sure that we get those roots. Real nice and sleek hold it for about 10 to 15 seconds and move it down. You'Ll feel the wave that you just did fit right into the barrel waver, so you know where to go. If you see right here, i sort of skipped it and then i go back up a little bit and it fits right in see right there. It fits right in and just hold it and crimp and hold it and crimp and go all the way down make sure you get those ends see me just straighten out the parting area and we're gon na get straight into the review. Okay, guys so getting straight into the review for this hair first off, i would love to say that i really do like how my hair came out. I noticed that a lot of stylists do really hard crimps, like really uniform, really like, like sleek look, crimps um and they're like stiff me personally, i like to crimp my hair and give like big fluffy hair. Look. I don't really run my hands to it until it's all done, so it could be big and fluffy kind of like a uniform. I don't really like them to be too uniform, as you guys saw for the top. When i did the closure, i um. I used a hot comb first to lay down, because i don't really want my crimps too uniform at the top. Like um. Let'S see you could kind of see the first bump like right there, but right here, it's like right here and that's kind of like like big hair like when i want curls. When i want texture, i want big hair, so i really have no idea how high or how hot mine was. There'S really only one setting like on or off the longer your hair is the longer it's going to take to crimp it the longest length that i have is 20 inches, and you can see it. I did probably like probably like five or six. So if you think about it, you're holding each section for 10 seconds at minimum and you're doing at least five or six going down. So that's literally like one minute per section, not to mention spraying your heat protecting. You know, combing it first um for this hair. It took me at least an hour to finish, cramping and everything, so i do want to keep this video really short and sweet. As far as the hair, you guys saw me styling it um. This is an hd lace, closure six by six. So it is right here to right here my whole entire gigantic forehead is um covered by this lace. So let me come a little closer and i think it looks really good. I do not have a wig cap on underneath it's there. I opted for no baby hairs, i'm actually really not like a baby hair type of girl. That'S why i really wasn't sure about wearing it straight. I tried it um because i've worn this hair for like a week, so i tried it out straight um. It'S it's gorgeous hair, honestly, like 10 out of 10, okay gorgeous about this lace about this lace and i'm so glad to find out that i'm not the only one that'd be having this problem. Um more and more videos from stylists that i have like on instagram or, of course people here on youtube, have been talking about how hard it is to bleach the knots on their hd lace. I bleached this hair three times three times. First time um i bleached it. I used 30 volume developer and bw2 powder 40 minutes go by i'm like okay. Well, maybe i'm blind right now, like i don't have my glasses, maybe i'm blind! I don't want to ruin it, so i wash it out. I let it sit in some silicone mix a couple hours and i let it air dry overnight. The knots were black like it didn't take at all, and i was like, oh my god, i literally reached out to sammy dr scout. She got right back to me and everything she was like. Don'T worry about my set place, the vietnamese lace like it's very resilient. You know it's very strong, you're gon na be good. She told me that she uses 40 volume for the same 35 minutes. So i'm like okay, 35 minutes go by i'm like am i tripping like 40 minutes go by with the 40 volume developer. Hd lace is like it's rough nobody's, really really stressing this. So that's why i want to let you guys know, because if you're like me, i want you to be confused or think that something's going terribly wrong. It'S strong, like it's so strong, like it's so resilient to the bleach. So after about 40 minutes, with the 40 volume developer, they took a little bit. So i'm like okay, like i guess you know, i guess i'll rock with this right here right here. You guys will see a little pop-up. It'S going to take you to a part. One video on this hair: it's like my unboxing first impressions. I show you guys, like the bundles in the lace of course, so the thumbnail for the video is after i bleached it. The second time i plucked the hairline a little bit um. You know how comb did laid out some baby hairs and i had it straight the first part of the video. I think i had bleached the nose already just once and i hadn't done anything else to it yet, but you could see like that could not be the finished product i went in with the 45 and the bw2 powder. I do have a video on that. I think at first i did like 10 minutes because i'm like you know, i've already done it for the time that i should have done it in the first place. So i actually don't know how long i had the weeds on for the third time that i reached them. I checked them and i'm like oh okay, they actually look pretty good, so i'd have been on there for like at least 30 more minutes. Okay, one thing i do want to point out first, two times that i bleached the knots i did also add ardell red gold, color corrector, because i didn't want them to come out brassy, but i couldn't find it. I was just like it's okay, because not everybody uses that anyway, so i didn't use it so i washed it, i let it air dry overnight, and it was on a popping from there tinted my lace. With this, my tailored crowns face tent spray. I think i got this like at the beginning of 2019 or maybe like black friday-ish of 2018.. I don't remember the color that i use clearly it ain't on the bottom, no more um. If you know about it, you know how old this is, though, i don't. Even think it comes in this packaging anymore, i will link it in the description below. I literally swear by this blends, my lace so well and it's buildable coverage and everything i went in um after i styled it, and i just plucked a little bit of the hairs right there and it's pretty unclockable, especially with the help of that lace. Tint spray. I'M telling you guys this is the finished. Look, i'm really happy, i'm really pleased with it. It'S gorgeous and it looks really natural, like with the color and like the luster that it has pros and cons on the hair as i've had it. I guess the con is going to be the time that it takes and the getting used to that will be required as far as working with hd lace, the pros everything else. I have no bad things to say about this hair when i was wearing the hair straight. I didn't get any issues. I never had a single tangle, even when my dumb ass was laying in the bed or laying on the couch with no bonnet on they get a little shedding, but far less than the normal amount of shedding that i would get with like any other hair and Again, it could be because of the way that i constructed the unit, so i will take you know i will take fault for that. I haven't tried to curl it with a curling iron or a wand, i'm pretty sure that it will curl nicely the more you touch it, the more you manipulate it. Um it's going to get bigger and bigger again. This is completely glueless. I don't have it down. I don't have any baby hairs. I think i have a one one inch or one and a half inch um elastic band. It'S not gon na secure, it's not going anywhere. I could literally snatch it off and go that's what i plan on doing. I'M not gon na sleep in this, so that's also going to um help with how long the waves stay in the hair other than that i'm really happy with the hair. Thank you, everybody for watching me ramble on and on about this gorgeous hair, watching how i crimped it style didn't take too long. It was well worth it. Thank you, dr scalp, for blessing us the world and everybody with these bundles and these lace pieces. Actually before i go, i'm gon na turn around and let you guys see the whole thing and again i was going for big fluffy messy vibes. I'M pretty sure that is what i have achieved, so i'm done rambling.
