Hey guys, lace frontals can be a pain, especially if you're not experienced with styling lace, frontals or, if you just don't, have the time to go through the whole process of melting, your lace. So in this video i'm going to be showing you guys how i use a 5x5 lace, closure wig and get it to look very similar to a frontal with half the work so keep on. Watching this point, everybody and their mama should be familiar with lace closures, but just in case you're not familiar. This is what a lace closure looks like. So this is a 5x5 lace closure wig, so you get five inches of lace, but you pretty much can part your hair anywhere and the structure of the wig is pretty much the same as a lace frontal. You get two combs on the side and one comb on the nape area, and then you get the adjustable straps in the back. If you're still confused on. What'S the difference between a lace, closure and a frontal, i'm going to show you guys that in just a minute? Okay, so, even though this is not a full lace, frontal wig, you still want to go in and pluck the hairline on this lace closure after you pluck the hairline on the lace closure make sure you follow up with the hot comb so that you can see Exactly how the hairline is looking, so the next thing that i'm going to do is apply a stocking cap. Now i would do this regardless of what type of wig i have just because i like a barrier between my wig and my hair. So now that i have the wig on you guys get a better idea of what a 5x5 lace closure looks like now. Don'T get it twisted now, just because this is a lace closure you still can make it look like a lace, frontal wig, with less amount of work. So that's the reason why i'm doing this video so that i can show you guys you can still pull out the same, look which i think is really great, especially if you're doing a middle part and you're not really a fan of you know the drastic baby Hairs, this is the good wig for you and so for today's look. I am going for a middle part, which is super convenient with a lace, closure, wig and also guys, if you get a lace, closure wig, you save a lot of money compared to using a lace, frontal, wig, bye, so y'all know for the most part. I add baby hairs to pretty much all of my wigs and so my closures, i'm going to do the same, but it's going to be very limited. So what i'm doing is taking some gorilla, snot gel and i have a love hate relationship with this gel because it's so slimy, but it like look at that. But it really does work really good with swooping in baby hairs on the frontals. So, as you can see, i am just taking a little bit of the baby hairs out on this wig, because i'm just only going to create two swoops and that's going to give me. You know a pretty good look for a middle part which you would normally have anyways with a frontal um. If you don't like you know, drastic baby hairs so and it's that simple, i pretty much already transformed this lace. Closure wig. So i'm going to go in with some hair moves and apply that directly on the hair. To make sure i don't have any fly aways and to give me a super flat, look and then i also apply this mousse very lightly on my baby hairs just to soften the baby hairs so that it doesn't look really harsh with this particular look. So while the hairline is drying, i am going to move on with styling the rest of my hair. Today i am going to be using the ion crimper that i got from sally's. I'Ve used this several times before in the past, and i love it and it gets super duper hot i'll make sure i have the link in the description bar in case. You want to purchase this iron. I think it was around 50 to 60 bucks, but very well worth it. Quality is amazing and before i start crimping my hair, i'm going to section off my hair and then comb through each section just to make sure there is no tangle, tangles or kinks. So i'm going in with the icy polisher spritz i love this spritz. Normally i would use pump it up, but pump it up always gets stuck because of the spritz being so thick so anyways. I am going to start cramping, my hair. So now so, if you have watched any of my wig videos in the past, i am pretty much following my lace: frontal steps and just applying them to this closure. So here i am cutting out the lace around my baby hairs. I prefer to do my baby hairs on my lace because it just works for me: okay, so i'm just cutting off the extra lace making sure i get as close as possible to the hairline on this closure. But, as you can see, it looks really good. Can'T really tell the difference on if it's a closure or if it's a frontal and boom. I am pretty much finished with the look on this lace. Closure wig, i'm just going in with some oil sheen to give my hair a little bit more shine and pressing out the roots just a little bit more just to make sure this wig is super flat. Y'All, do y'all see this lace closure and, like i'm gon na, keep it real with y'all. Like closures was popping like before the whole frontal movement closures was the thing to get with all of your installs like for real. So i love this closure. Look i'm falling in love with closures all over again. This look was very simple and easy to achieve honestly lace. Closure. Wigs is the true beginner friendly type of wig.
