Wig Maintenance | How To Wash Your Lace Closure Wig

Haier TV we're gon na go ahead and start by detangling, our we make sure all the tangles out and today I'm going to teach you how to wash your lace closure weed. And you see, we have a 18 inch lace closure with two combs at the top and one comb at the bottom. You see the closure listed there sewing onto the week and you can also see the closure at the top. So once you make sure that your wig is actually detangle, you will need a detangling comb brush a comb. I mean I'm sorry to take my wig brush tea tree or moisturizing. Shampoo is lavender mint. I'M tea tree oil shampoo. It'S like a tingling shampoo to make sure the follicles in the shaft of the hair is clean, pull your sleeves up and get ready. Ladies, so what I like to do when I saw a shampoo - and I like to start with warm water, go ahead and make sure the temperatures right this week is a 18 inch closure with a two 20 inch bundles and a 22 inch bundle. So it's kind of long go ahead and make sure you rinse the hair, get it fully wet. I know some people when I wash works. I do like to fill up the sink I like to hold the wig in order to prevent tangles, but I do get the method of letting the hair sit in the sink and make sure that all the products out, but just go ahead and make sure that It'S well rinsed. That'S really what I try to do and yeah! So this is my first wash I like to make sure that I go ahead and just get to shampoo worked into the shaft and the follicles of the hair, because, depending on how much product that you put on the hair, you want to use the first watch. Just to kind of strip it and get the shape, the spritz and the wax and who knows Jam and edge control out of it. So just go ahead and work that through and it's a closure with three bundles. So that's why I'm using so much and definitely it's so long. So it's a lot of hair. It might not look like it, but it's definitely a lot of hair go ahead and work your way through. Don'T forget the closure, don't forget the inside of it. Yeah make sure you get all of that, go ahead and rinse it. This is just your first wash. This is not necessarily a detail watch. This is just kind of get the chemicals running and hope forget whatever product that you put on it off of the hair and make sure you get a good rinse because you're not setting it and watering, letting it rinse that way, even though that way you considered In the water and still pull out some chemicals make sure you definitely do a good rinse with the closure, the tracks and everything, because it is a weak. This is a second round now, if you see I'm taking more of a detailed approach when it comes to the top of the hair, especially the closure, that's exactly where the way it comes into contact with your hair one, you probably put oil in your hair when You actually baste it before you put the wig on. You want to make sure that you're not putting any additional dirt that you have on your hair or any old that you put into the closure on the wig before you put it on. All of that is just contact transfer, so there's no telling exactly what's in your week and not to mention that you wore this wig on a daily or weekly basis. You curled, it puts prints pop it up. Who knows exactly what's in it, and you just want to make sure that you getting it out on both ends, whether you get it for the part that contacts your scalp the weight cap, their contacts, your scalp, and make sure that you getting it for your actual Hair, so you want your hair to still be flowing and not matter than not. They can even smell as well. When you decide to put this wig back on so go ahead and use the wig brush and comb through it. This is just to prevent tangles and then make sure that you are working. All of that shampoo through your hair, now be careful when you get to your closure, because you do not want to close to brush too hard with the wig brush and brush a hole into your closure. See that shampoo being worked through yeah see those waves coming back. That'S that body away Brazilian water wave and just continue to work it through make sure your product is definitely going through see that curl I had about at the bottom bouncy curls girl so go ahead and give it a good rinse. This is your final shampoo, so you want to make sure you get all of the shampoo out. So definitely take your time and work it through the hair work. The water through pay very close attention to your closure, because you want to make sure that no soap is left over inside of your actual closure in your legs closure. Now, as you see my levels, I start with a particular level when I rinse is as good as I can, and I work my way down. You definitely want to make sure that you ease the shampoo down the shaft of the hair. Look at how the hair is gliding through my hands: oh yeah, that's hair! Yes, okay! Now go ahead and flip your wig inside out just to make sure any hair any soap or any shampoo that you have it's not stuck on the inside. So you want to make sure you give that a good rinse to not just focusing on the outside because, like I said that wig cap comes into contact with your real hair. So you want to make sure it's just as protected as everything else and clean hair. Look good, though: don't it all right here: okay, okay! So what's that done, you want to go ahead and apply the conditioner. This is a special tea tree oil conditioner that specializes in removing product from the hair, as well as moisturizing, to maintain of moisture and hair, because this is a hundred percent human hair do not treat it like it's a synthetic wig do not treat it like. It'S not here, you want this hair to be an extension of you, so treat it as good as you do your real hair. So, as you see, I'm working it through the top part, the closure part, of course, making sure I go all the way straight down. The bundles of the 22 inches getting every part of it. If that I can see me coming my fingers through it, making sure it gets enough. Conditioner just be generous with it, because you can always rinse the conditioner and everything off of it. It is human hair, treat it like it's your hair now, once you got that going and you got it work through enough you're, definitely going to make sure that you go ahead and comb it through just to make sure that the condition is definitely covering everything and We'Re going to do this like a deep condition, because once we got this comb through we're gon na go ahead and let it sit in the sink or on the towel or wherever you want to have it sit or even on your wig head. If you want and we're gon na, let this sit for thirty minutes just to make sure that the hair is fully conditioned. Thirty minutes good job, you all right so once you've, let it sit for 30 minutes, go ahead and set your water to cold. You want it to be cold water, because this was a deep conditioning. You want to make sure that you preserve the moisture inside of the hair, so go ahead and rinse the closure keep in mind. Conditioner is thicker, so you want to make sure you definitely take your time and get the conditioner out. I just want you to recognize that through my arm, you can still see that lace in that closure see how well that blends honey. So once again make sure you get all of the conditioner out. Take your time and rinse to take as much time as you need and remember that it is cold water that you are rinsing this with and once again make sure you pay close attention to that closure, even though there's conditioner you do not want it. To put this way back on, then, all of a sudden, your hands, steady itching and you figure out that you still had conditioner in your way once again flip it in the inside and make sure that you definitely rinse out that closure, with any condition anything that You have basically what it's about is using quality, shampoo and conditioner. Taking your time work your way through make sure you don't have any tangles, because, depending on the type of hair that you have, especially if you have like the kinky curly or a Cambodian curly from Dauntless anti hair company, you just want to make sure you preserve Those curls and they can easily get tangled while washing the weave, but once you got all the conditioner out, make sure you comb through it. Cuz, you want to make sure your waves come back place it on the wig head and then just let it sit for a day or two by putting it back to your wicks got make sure you use the styrofoam. We don't necessarily use a cost one, because if your clothes appear to be wet - and you know how thick the cloth ones are, the water can seep into it and then you can start the mildew so make sure you use a styrofoam wig head, go ahead and Pin the wig back to it call me now, while is on the way, don't forget to say, 18-inch closure with two 20-inch bundles and a 22 go ahead and sit that out.
