Keek @missbossylive

Okay, so we want to start with a clean face, so I'm going to start by washing my face with philosophy period made simple and I am going to exfoliate with Mac volcanic ash, exfoliator use whatever cleanser and exfoliator works for you. Exfoliating is actually not even necessary, but it may help you get a better grip by getting rid of any dead skin. That'S left sitting on your skin for this step. I'M going to take my leave out because I didn't break my hair for enclosure in a braid and for my new part wig, so I'm just going to slip my leave out down, I pulled it all right, Barty been wearing it, so it's just going to pull Back but you can save yourself, some trouble with this braid, your hair for a closure wig. If that's what you plan on doing or if you're wearing a saw - and you don't even have to worry about this part, but I do recommend using this at least along your hairline. Even if you are wearing a sewing with a closure, because this will protect your hair from the adhesive, so I'm using my Robotech knock off, which is Robert diamond bond. Robert'S diamond bond protective shield in transparent got this at my local beauty supply and it was $ 5.99 drop, this bad boy open and I'm going to apply a little directly to my hair and I'm just going to focus mainly on the front a little bit up Here, just to help you lay down better and I'm just going to smooth that on my hair and I'm going to get it all the way up to the edge of my hairline. I want to get all of my hair that might come in contact with the adhesive. This product is really really thick. You see how it later so I'm going to put a new wig cap on while this is still wet, because I kind of want the wig cap to stick to it. My weight does already have fabric at underneath the closure, but it doesn't go all the way up to here. I'M going to add not only a cap, we must just to help stick the cap down so it'll stay, because these caps do have a tendency to slide back up the end so get them on there. Now I'm just going to let it dry once it's all dry I'll, be back and we'll go ahead and start applying the closure all right. So now it's time to put my wig on. If you come so in your clothes, I should already be on. So with my big. I have a comb in the back behind the closure and I mainly use it when I'm not wearing a wig cap, because I usually don't wear one because I usually don't blow it down but I'll. Please, if I am wearing a cap, so you're going to take my wig and I have my hand on the comb here and I'm going to position the closure where I want it in front, which would be you right about here and I'm going to pull this Comb tight in the back and then push it into the wig cap kind of flip. This back with the bobby pin and that's just a hole. Delays bar closure out of the way - and I still have my guidelines for the sides here and my see my closures position a little bit off-center because I always wear side part. If I were wearing a memoir, I would have it positioned directly in the center. So what I might be using now is, I use an applicator stick, a wax applicator and I'm using ghost bond adhesive, which i think is like a or WG. That'S just how I feel about it. It'S very very similar. So I'm going to take a drip, drop bow and I dab it in three places. I'M not trying to put it on my hair, but my hair is protected. So if a little bit does get on it's okay, but I'm going to be concentrating in front of my hairline and one two three dabs and then I spread it across. So we're going to let that layer dry until it turns clear and I'm going to add another layer and really quickly, while I'm letting this first so you're dry. I need to clean my lengths right because the lace is not going to stick to the adhesive. If it's not clean, so I'm taking, some acetone can use 99 % alcohol as well, and I'm using a q-tip. You can also use a microfiber cloth, so I have my q-tip dipped in acetone, so they're gon na lease all clean and what's this is clear: the adhesive! Now I'm going to go ahead and add another layer. You I'll be back in seven minutes. Seven minutes later here we go, but this part I'm just going to leave the bobby pin on and I'm going to pull this forward just a little bit and I'm going to place the lace right at the edge of the adhesive, like that. All the way across, like so wait now, I'm going to take a comb and fine-tooth comb that is clean and we're going to slide it into the hair at the base and then press the back of the comb against the edge of the lace. What I'm going to do to correct my little mess-up this I'm going to take my applicator stick on the other side, this time and but take just a tiny, tiny dab of the glue like when I say, tied down, I'm literally like it's honey. Dad lifts up the area that I missed and just kind of slide it up under there and I'm going to do that one more time and you notice I'm kind of putting it on the edge of the applicator so that I can just slide it under there. I'M going to let that dry and get a little tacky, and now I'm just going to press this part down into the adhesive. I use my comb slide it in and press like that, and so I'm going to write down my hair again we're going to put it in a ponytail first, and this is just so that I can get a better grip one time the scarf or my head And I'm using a semi scarf and it is satin and the scarf needs to be clean folded in in half and I'm sure going to fold it in half again folding in it's all fully air force, I'm going to place it right there edge. I usually will let it sit like this for like at least an hour. Sometimes I let it sit like this all night. It just kind of depends on what I'm doing so yeah, that's it, and I will give you guys with some pictures of that after I take the start down and the culture has to say you

Crystal Watson: I'm 24 seconds into the video and I had to stop and comment. THANK YOU for getting straight to the point. I hate when I watch a ten minute "tutorial" and the first six minutes consists of rambling!! You are greatly appreciated!!

J Rowl: Yes, I always wondered how to remove one of these and I've been hearing horrow stories about the glue damaging peoples hair. Good to know that there is a way to protect the hair and have a natural looking part.

masterhairstylist: tip. When you use the back of the comb to press into the glue it will always make white seen spots. Use your combs teeth. Slide them in as you normally do then slide the smooth side of the teeth against the lace and come forward to edge of lace. This should stop you from having the white areas when finished.

MissBossyLIVE: @bamoye1 It all depends on how well the glue works for you. For me, I can go up to a week, but I generally will remove it now after 2 or 3 days. Some people can even get 2 weeks or more out of one application

Michelle Brown: I agree! thanks for getting straight to the point. Love that

p w: Just so people can know, mine is placed in front of the hairline. I use baby oil with cocoa butter to remove. Let the baby oil sit for 5 minutes or more. Use a damp towel, come right off no damage or redness.

K Pierce: You're so pretty :3 and thank you for the tutorial it helped so much. xoxo

Kayla: I love it ! Straight to the point ! Ive seen girls go on and on and ramble for most the video

meechie2cute: You did a great job! I love the into.....imma get me a bossy wig even if I gotta sell all my wigs to get one!

MAMI NELCY: Wow me gusta mucho como lo explicas paso a paso excelente

Ann Stewart: Great video...however, how do you remove the glue from the lace closure?  I also applied the closure by using your step by step method but it has been two weeks and its beginning to look a little ragged around the edges.  I appreciated any feed back from you and/or any of my beautiful sister.....

MissBossyLIVE: there are daily adhesives you can try at your local beauty supply store. Also some spirit gums are good for daily use

JessKa Daniels: How many days of wear do you normally get out of it? I want to do it but not if I have to add more adhesive everyday. GREAT VIDEO AND TUTORIAL

MissBossyLIVE: If you are ok with leaving it on, several days depending on how the adhesive works for you. I would often apply mine without sewing down the wig

MissBossyLIVE: @50LittleMama Thanks! You can get the sticks from any beauty supply store that sells wax, or from a craft store :) You can get Goo Gone from almost any drug store, Walmart or a hardware store

46FOXFIRE: excellent tutorial Missbossy!

50LittleMama: This was a really nice tutorial on applying and removal. Where can I get those wooden sticks from ? And where can I get the Goo Gone from?

Frankie_ aab: how long did it last? and have you had an encounters with the ghost bond and water? love your video by the way!

chyvonne55: @MissBossyLive thank you for answering my questions! Truly love all ur videos.

nelle609: What can you use to get the ace front glue build up off of your closure?

TheChicNurseLife: Thanks luv! Lord knows I've just been bobby pinning my closure down smdh!

MissBossyLIVE: @chyvonne55 This time I used a wig cap that I doubled (I ran out of chiffon). I did cut the lace all the way back on this one because I don't usually wear it glued down. I only recommend it if you are going to wear it like I usually wear mine. Otherwise you need a little lace in front because it is going to fray back. With the acetone, I always wash the entire wig after removal, including the lace :)

Beautie Ward: Great video helped me alot

chyvonne55: Thanks for this! Just what I needed. What type of fabric do u have underneath your closure on this vid? It looks thicker than the silk chiffon. Also it looks like u cut the lace all the way to the beginning of the hair would u recommend to do that? And using the acetone on the lace- do u wash that with shampoo or just clean with acetone & let it dry? Sorry for all the questions just trying to get it right for myself as well as my clients.

HomemadeINSTYLE: this was a great video i'm getting ready to apply glue for the 1st time to lace fr0nt wig and i'm wondering how the ghost bond and protective shield hold up to sweat

TheGoldenArts: your skin is BEAUTIFUL!!! great vid :)

b: There are sooo many alternative methods to achieving a natural looking closure without glue now. I'm sure she doesn't do this anymore.

Tasha Knowles: this is awesome. thanks for the tips

_Ajha: Does the adhesive damage your hair if you use it all the time?

Darria Outlaw: A high (90 i think, you can get from walmart) percent of alcohol would have been a better alternative to the acetone

Locks: This is nice! i wanna know how long the glue last...i would like to use it for my closure

Meka Meek: Hi! Do you have a video on how you made that particular wig?

bibah32: How do you remove the glue from the lace?

Trini Tsunami: This is a great video but I could only do this once every few months. My skin would be severely damaged.

Monebyrd: very good and detailed video.thanks soo much for sharing

BadGyalGiGi: @MissBossyLIVE Thank you for responding, I appreciate it!

efayse: Wonderful video! I hope that have that hair protector at my bss store.

MissBossyLIVE: @SinfulyBeautiful If I get enough requests I'll do it for sure! But until then, to remove the Ghost Bond from the closure, I just scrub it with a toothbrush that I dip in acetone. It comes right off :)

50LittleMama: Also this was a very nice natural looking unit. Where can I purchase something like that?

mrsbarbiebentley: how long do you keep this on for?

MissBossyLIVE: thanks for the tip, haven't done this in two years

kk7462: Thank you great video. I learned alot

Nina93 Beauty: Hi I loved so much your video so I wanna ask u something does the glue hurt the skin or cause any damage ???

laroza gant: Nailed it!

zetrov romanov: thank u. you've just improve many parts of my life. love the video.

Kitty Rose: How long will the wig stay on?

MissBossyLIVE: @ZoomintoProfit Thanks! And this also works for weaves with closures :)

MissBossyLIVE: @beethatonehun I wish I did! This is why I resorted to doing my own hair. I couldn't find a stylist that cared as much about my hair as I did. I had one stylist that actually applied my closure SUPER crooked and I had to take it down and reinstall it myself. That was the beginning of the end for me :(

Miley Саrterr: I would be so scared to put glue on my hair...especially my hair line

MissBossyLIVE: @mied79 Thanks, I actually made it myself. I make wigs for others also so you can shoot me a message if you have any questions :)

Tiffany Johnston: What color lace do you recommend transparent or light brown? My complexion is similar to yours.

Nina C: hey! what was the stuff in the blue bottle at 12:42 and what did you use it to do? :)

MissBossyLIVE: @86asa you can get ghost bond from hairdirect(dot)com as well as some other online stores. I would do a search on Google, but I got mine from HairDirect. I definitely like it better than Ultra Hold. UH actually gave me major headaches

Cinnimon Jones: Very good vid thank you! !!

peace tara: Thank you! Be careful with the acetone it a known carcinogen

What Makes You BeauTIFFful: Isnt the acetone too strong for your scalp?

MissBossyLIVE: it may, if you can, avoid getting the front of the closure wet

Artistic Angie: What do you do about the glue that remains on the closure?

Mz. Kelly: Great vid! why did you only apply to the top of the forehead area and not the entire face line?

MissBossyLIVE: @goldizzle07 it lasts different amounts of time for different people depending on their body chemistry. For me it lasts about 3-4 days

zetrov romanov: very neat. thank you

Heart Pulse: for you, which glue is the one that stays for the longest time?

MissBossyLIVE: @50LittleMama This is actually a unit that I made myself. It is a custom lace closure with wefts sewn on the ba

Lauren Rosetta: I need a closure in my life asap

HeyCelina: This is the best closure application so far...luv it. What kind of weave is that?

Chelcee Monaé: If the glue turns whit e after you applied the Lace how do you fix it?

MissBossyLIVE: it's a water proof adhesive. You have to use a solvent to remove it. It shouldn't lift from water

BabiiDoll: this has help me so much

beethatonehun: it looks soooooo good. Do u have any tips on finding a QUALIFIED stylist that can help me achieve this look? or any referrals? (ive had a really bad application once and its hard to trust stylists these days)

3EyedTiger: How do you clean the glue and product from the lace?

Yvonne Hunter: how long does it last

georgia perry:  and looks great :) :)

SinfulyBeautiful: can u do a vid on how to get the ghost bond off the actual closure?

georgia perry: Hey I have never used this glue method before, how long does it last?

beethatonehun: what type of fabric is used on the closure

DaTruEbonyRayne: what was in the blue bottle at the end of the video? And have you experienced any reaction to the goo gone??

dexgurl_32: What site did u order your ghost bond from was it hair direct?

mied79: @MissBossyLIVE HOw much do you charge for a wig?

Muni S: what did you use to take off your scalp protector and wig cap? the blue spray? did not catch the name

MissBossyLIVE: Yes, it came off pretty easy

Valencia P: If I get a sew in with this can I wash my hair or will the glue lift up ?

Briata Anderson: love it

MissBossyLIVE: thanks for the tip :)

Red Rodriguez: This is INCORRECT you must wait until glue dries to clear coat before placing wig

MissBossyLIVE: @tasheppa Actually it is not. I only use a small amount and the glue comes right off so it isn’t in contact with my skin for too long. After that I wash my face and use my moisturizer :)

laroza gant: Nailed it!

mied79: I like your wig, where did you buy it from?

50LittleMama: Another question...what was in the blue bottle?

Justin Tyme: Is it easy to get off? The glue I mean.

peepla7: the glue seems amazing but good gone....can I use like canola oil (which is what we use to get rid of labels....poor man goo gone type thing) and maybe alcohol instead of acetone?

Reneé Foxxx Hair: Where did you purchase the ghost bond

mied79: @MissBossyLIVE Thanks, i will contact you as soon as purshase my hair!

Charlotte Stone: You are just adorable :3 Good job <3 You look great ^-^

MissBossyLIVE: It's plain water. I used it to loosen up the product that was holding the cap in place

Pammella L: wow you are very meticulous - very nice!

MissBossyLIVE: Thank you :)

Nyla Samone: Wow you were on gems wayyy ahead of their time!! Wow

simonaz4: hi nice video,,,,u only glue the front part?? u dont glue the back? thxs

ADORE7373: I cant see myself having anything on my skin..so do I have to do this to my forehead?

gegeson1: VERY NICE THANKS...
