So guys, today, I'm going to show you how to bleach the knots on your lace closure you out. What I have here is my latest closure. It'S from she's, so fine hair company. This is a Brazilian body wave closure. I haven't pinned down to the mannequin head. I'M just using a safety pin because that is in needle and have the hair are all clipped under with a hair clip and what I'm using is this bleaching powder? This is off-camera product. So I have this Lightner and then have a 40 volume developer, and then you will of course need a bowl and a brush and then once it gets done, processing I'm just going to do a shampoo and conditioner using these using these products here and then I Also have a plastic bag is going to place out over there after I put the bleach on there. So what we're going to do pretty quickly here is just take a scoop of the powder here and put that into the bowl then mix in some of the developer here now you want this to be pretty thick, because if it's running it's going to seep through The closure and end up turning your hair to bleach the hair. So right now it's pretty thick. So if I could take better consistency, as you guys can see when you put this on the closure, if you want to apply it, you don't want to put it on like this, because it's going to see PDX here, you don't want to put it on like That it's going to seep through actually end up bleaching, the hair. You want to lay it flat and sort of spread it on like that. So let's go the product, I'm just going to start spreading it on now. What happens with lightning is that it expects. So you can definitely put this under the dryer if you want to after you put put it onto the lace closure or if you don't have one of those darn it can fit under, you can use a blow dryer just to heat it up you if I Want to do you can put a foil in there if you want to. I miss the sandwich bag and place it on top of there. No other process, like I say you can use a dryer if you want to to help speed up the processing time and make sure you're watching it, because if you don't watch it, it will go really quickly and in your closure return a brassy yellow orange color. You don't want it to happen, so let me check on it about every five minutes, just to see where it's at and I'll come back to show you guys to fetch results. So guys here is the finished results for my bleaching of the nuts. This is what it looks like. No, I love the way that it came out. All I did was keep the bleach on the closure for the for 45 minutes. I checked it every five minutes to make sure that it wasn't over processing. Oh, you do want to watch it because, like I said the the bleach will expand and it will start to come through the lace, which is how it covers up the nuts. So definitely watch it to make sure that you're not actually bleaching the hair. I'M back capital for 45 minutes and what you can do is just monitor it. If you don't like the fact that it's not changing fast enough, you can definitely put on a blow dryer and aim it at it or you can sit the closure in the wig mannequin, underneath a hair dryer, and then I just rinsed it out like this. I hold it like this with the water pour onto it directly just to get the bleach off from under it. You don't want to hold it like this under the water, because then you're going to have the bleach going onto the hair, so I just held it like this and then just shampooed and conditioned it just moving in a downward motion. But it looks amazing, I would say about 95 % of the knots have been bleached. I still like a few of them that I find in the back here that show just a little bit, but for the most part they are all gone, absolutely love how it turned out. It looks amazing, and one way to do is just put a little bit. Well, once I sew it on to the wig, I want to apply just a little bit of foundation onto the lace part to make it match my skin tone. So that's going to show you another trick. I use with my closure to keep it from shedding up. I use its acrylic cellar here. I got this from eBay and it helps with keeping the hair from shedding like sometimes with closures. The hair can slip out of the lace and it can cause bald spots which sucks, because at that point you have to buy a new closure and of course, these things are not cheap. So you want to maintain your closer as best as you can. So what I do is I spray some mist on my closure and I put on two coats what I do first, I spray on the first coat. Let it dry for about 15 minutes and I apply another coat and then let it dry for an hour before you can install it. But you just do a light coat make sure you don't get it on the hair to try to keep it really condensed. To this area here, let's do like a little short first, so just let it dry for 15 minutes and then put on another coat of it and then you're good to go now. I do as well. If every time I wash my closure, I make sure to spray it again because when I make sure they cook so it's on there, otherwise you will start having shedding and thinning of your closure, and you really don't want that to happen. So this is stuff. It'S like really inexpensive. I think I paid either three or five dollars for it. I bought a while ago. I still have a full cam, because you use such a little bit so definitely invest in this acrylic sealer. Now you can go on eBay, Michaels. You look! A craft store and it's really cheap and expensive and it's definitely worth the purchase.
