Today, I'm bringing you a review of uniwig's Katie, wig Katie was provided to me by uniwigs for this review in this review. I'M going to give you all the details of this wig in this color. I also film myself, unboxing Katie, and I'm going to show you that so that you will know what to expect right out of the box. Lastly, I'm going to show you what I did to Katie to get her to look like this. This included cutting the lace and applying some heat to get rid of the box hair. Also I'll show you what you can do if you encounter some tangling issues so stay tuned. Katie is a straight blonde, A-line long bob. She has a lace front and a partial monofilament top Katie is made with heat friendly synthetic fibers heat friendly, fibers tend to move and look more like real human hair than synthetic fibers. The fibers on Katie are incredibly soft and I would say they have a fine to medium denier because they are heat friendly. These fibers could be styled with hot tools up to 280 degrees. As I mentioned, I used heat on Katie to help with the box hair and I'll show you that a little bit later, Katie has an average cap size. I'M going to show you the inside of the cap during the unboxing section. This wig has no permatease and has a density of 130 percent Katie measures 16 inches all the way around I'm going to do a 360, so you can see Katie from all sides. Here'S my front right side back my left side and back to the front. Now, let's talk about this color, Haiti is a light cool ash blonde with a dark ash blonde root, I'm going to get in close, so you can see it better, so really perfect blonde, not too light, not too dark, not too cool and not warm foreign Katie Has an ear to ear lace, front and a partial monofilament top right out of the box. The lace is not cut on Katie and so you'll need to cut that after I did the unboxing. I showed you how I cut my lace, so hopefully that will be helpful. Let'S take a closer look at this lace front and monofilament top here's that lace front, which lays beautifully across my forehead that lace extends all the way to the ear and here's what it looks like this side here is that monofilament top, where I have it parted And I will show you the monofilament, when I show you the inside of the cap a little bit later, with this kind of lace front, The Styling options are really endless. You could pull Katie back away from your face. You would just want to glue down this lace right here and it would be absolutely beautiful, styled away from the face, but you would need to clear that down, but if you're just wearing Katie down like I have her, you really don't have to glue the lace Down, as I mentioned, I filmed myself, unboxing or unpacking Katie, and I'm going to show you that now here's the bag that the wig came in and then there is also an inner bag inside and inside of that is the wig and also a few inserts. This is just about some other wigs they have, and this is regarding the return policy and how to return, and they also gave me a wig cap. Now I'm going to take out the wig and it has some tissue paper inside of it and has mesh around it and I'm just going to remove that mesh and the tissue from inside and here is a look at the wig and there is that lace front. Here is a look at the inside of the cap and we have a partial monofilament top and the lace that extends into the ears. That is not pre-cut, which I will show you how to cut a little bit later. It has a closed Cap Construction and bra strap-like Adjusters. Here I am putting Katie on for the first time without doing anything to it, so that you'll know what to expect right out of the box, or in this case the bag, and as you can see, it looks pretty good without doing anything to it. Obviously I need to cut that lace and we have a little bit of box hair going on, but that is easy to fix and here's a 360 of Katie right out of the bag. Now I'm going to show you how I cut the lace on Katie. This was actually the first wig I had gotten where the lace was not pre-cut and cutting the lace was a lot easier than I expected. So I started by pulling my hair back into a low ponytail and then I just pinned back the front sections of the hair and then starting in the middle of the front. I just cut a slit and went along the hairline, leaving about an eighth of an inch of lace and I kind of went in a zigzag. I didn't go on a complete straight line. I went in a little zigzag and I just continued all the way to where the lace ended, and I did the same thing on the other side and just make sure that you don't cut any of the hair from the wig. When you're cutting the lace. You want to make sure that you leave about an eighth of an inch to a fourth of an inch of lace and that way, it'll lay really nice on your forehead, and I was just making sure that the lace was pretty even all the way around and So just trimming up in a couple of places: heat-friendly synthetic fibers can be a little tangly, so I'm spraying hair you wear, restore and just combing it through to help get rid of those tangles. Since Katie has heat friendly synthetic fibers, I decided to use a straightener to help get rid of the bag hair that I had. I put the straightener on a low heat setting and just ran it over the fibers and, as you can see, it did a really good job of getting rid of that crease. This has been uniwig's, Katie wig. I think this wig is beautiful and would be a great staple wig to have in your collection. There are so many styling options with Katie and it's just a great everyday wig. I hope this review was helpful. Let me know if you have any questions and thanks for watching

Liz Lyons: Keri, this was the most straightforward set of instructions I have seen yet on cutting lace. I have never done it and have steered away from wigs with this kind of uncut lace because I am afraid of ruining the wig. You made it look easy. I have also stayed away from wigs that don't have ear tabs on the sides but I guess I could experiment with gluing the sides down. Like you, I have hair, so I am going to have to figure out how to get my biohair out of the way when gluing right at the ears, as I like to pull my wigs back. That said, this does look like a great piece to have in my collection. Love the color you chose, it truly does look exactly like your own biohair. I have to see what dark colors they have, as I only occasionally wear an ash blonde, being a lifelong brunette. Thank you for this simple, to-the-point review. You look beautiful in this style and color.
