How To Tape Down The Hera Lace Front Topper By Uniwigs

Hey there welcome to my channel i'm tanya, also known as spin here latina, and today i am going to show you guys how to glue down or tape down a lace front topper. So i recently had a baby and kind of see the crib back there, and so i started losing just like massive chunks of hair uh. The plus side was during pregnancy. I had like extra hair and now as i've um he's like three months old uh. So i've started losing like quite a bit more um and i'm it's it's possible that i'll at least from what i've seen i've started, losing a lot more hairs around my hairline. So with that lace, front, toppers are really fantastic. If you have a thinner, hairline or you're, not exactly wanting to blend your hair with a topper every day, these lace front, toppers can be glued down or taped down, and then they will look like your own hairline. So this topper is from uni wigs. It is the hera, topper and i'll show you guys it right now. So this is the hera topper. I put some um, i washed it because i always like to wash toppers before i show you guys anything and then i put in some soft fluffy curls, because i think that blends really well with my hair um. It is in the truffle brown color, which is a really great color. It matches the ends of my hair almost exactly, but since my hair is naturally this color, i have a darker root just because my hair is darker and then it gets hit by the sun and it gets lighter. So that's something to keep in mind as you're ordering toppers is that the lighter hair colors might match your ends better, but the darker hair colors might match your roots better, depending on how you color or don't color your hair, and so here's the topper itself. This is a very large topper. This is considered three-fourths of a wig, and that gives you a lot more coverage. So it'll cover a lot more of this back area and it will also you know. It also. Has that lace front, so it's really meant for more advanced hair loss or people who just want a lot more coverage and volume, and it has a wefted back. But this these wefts are a little bit different than some of the other uni uni wig wefts, because they're open wefted. So that means that you do have to be a little bit more careful because it will um. Potentially, the hairs could get inverted and go through the wefts, so you can see here i'm touching the hair directly uh, and so when that happens it you know it could get kind of messy. So you just want to make sure you brush the hair and be a little bit more careful with it. But the plus side is when it's summer uh. It'S going to be really like cool you're, going to be able to feel the breeze directly on your scalp, which is, you know, will feel great, so uh here is the lace front of this topper. As you can see, i already have some scar tape on there to try and make it look like a skin top, and then i have a tiny bit of tape. So what i do is i ordered this. These little tape strips right here and i only use half of one. So just you know to pick one half of these and cut that cut it in half right there, and then you peel each side of this blue part off. Then you stick it onto the topper, then you peel the white side off, and so that's what i've done here and that's what i'm going to show you how i actually go it down, then i'm going to see where the glue is see where the hairline is And i'm going to make sure to stick that right, where i need to stick it it's a little hard unless i'm being on camera. Okay, so we'll try it there and see how it looks. Okay, we'll try there! Okay and all i'm gon na do is just press down. You can kind of a little bit of the tape right there, but if you just touch it, it will become more and more transparent because of the tackiness will go away. Okay, so here is the topper, and so this topper comes with curtain, bangs cut in it, and so what that looks like before i cut in like actual bangs is it was down to here, maybe even a little bit further. So as long as these are right here is where the curtain bangs were, so they were really long uh, but i always like having the option to have bangs okay, so here it is with the bang style towards the front um, and so i really like that, Because it does hide this lace front again if you're gluing it, you probably don't need to do that. But you know i like that. Um, if you cut in bangs into this piece, the curtain bangs that come with it, one make it easier to cut in bangs into this piece, because it already has some nice layering and framing. And then i just think that bangs with this piece look really nicely really nice. So that's how you work with this uh lace, front. Hera, topper! I think it's a really nice topper.
