How To Add And Remove Adhesive To A Wig Lace Front | Easy Method

Hey everyone: it's julia with wig review central youtube in this quick video. I am going to show you how to use got to be glued. To lay down your wig's lace front. I actually have a viewer named jenny, hello, jenny who emailed me or messaged me on facebook and asked to please show this technique. She also asked me: could i please show how to remove the wig once the got to be glued has been in place for all day or how many hours you wear the wig so i'll be showing you that as well. This is a belletress wig. It'S called maxwella it's in the color, vanilla butter and it's one of my favorite wigs. It has a lace front, and so let me show you what i do take the got to be glued. You can buy this at dollar general walmart, most pharmacies, as you can see, i use it all the time, i'm almost out, so you just take a generous blob of it. I like to use - maybe this much and i just place it along my hairline. So if you have a lace that extends ear to ear, you'll want to place it ear to ear or if your lace front is just temple to temple, you'll place it temple to temple, and you want to place a generous amount. Now, while it looks white on my finger and maybe a little bit now on my forehead, it will dry clear. So then i just put my wig on okay and i want to line up the lace front to my hairline and make sure that it's centered and then what i do is i take my fingertips and i just lay down the lace. I press the lace into the got to be glued now on youtube. If you, google, search lace, front wig got to be glued, you'll, see many videos with many different techniques. Some ladies like to use a hair dryer to go ahead and dry. The got to be glued quicker. I don't do that usually i'll place the wig on, and i still have things to do, to get ready for wherever i'm going. So i will just let it dry on its own now be warned, even though this is considered styling, gel or spiking gel. This is extremely adhesive, i mean it will not move and you can wear a wig with the got to be glued. Laying down your lace front for hours, in fact, i wear a wig all day long and i've never had the got to be glued. Come unglued now, i'm sure in extremely hot steamy conditions, maybe down at a florida beach somewhere in like naples, where it's super humid and you're, sweating or you're by the ocean. I can see that perhaps it would come loose. You can buy a small little tube of this, carry it in your purse and just touch up as needed throughout the day. So, let's see yeah see i'm jerking on this already and it's it's not moving and that's another thing i like about this got to be glued is like another security measure. Once this is glued down, your wig will not slip. That'S fantastic! Well in just a minute. I'M gon na, let it dry some more. I will show you how to quickly and easily remove the wig and lift the lace front after all day of wearing you'll want to use a warm steamy. Washcloth pressed against your forehead and the lace front to loosen the got to be glued so that you can take your wig off. I wring it out. I press the steamy washcloth against my forehead and the lace front hold it for one to two minutes. Remove. Take your finger and gently pry up the lace front. This just helps loosen it. You want to be very gentle with your lace, front and voila off it comes. You will get a little bit of build up on your lace front from the got to be glued or any adhesive that you use when you're washing off build up on your lace front, the key is gentle. That is the word of the day. Gentle you'll want to use. This is how i do it. Sometimes, if i don't want to use a washcloth, i will wet the lace front and then i will take the soap on my fingertips and just gently rub it loosen up that adhesive, but be very gentle and then rinse. Now it's a good idea to do this. After every couple of times, at least that you use adhesive, don't necessarily have to do it every time, but if the buildup gets to be too much, it will possibly show on the lace front depending upon what kind of adhesive you use and there you go.
