Hey guys welcome back to another video. Today'S video is gon na, be a wig review. Slash color, slash stalin, y'all gon na be in the long haul. With me, this video will be a little bit longer than my usual videos, but it's going to be a good one. Y'All say: hey the queen say: hey youtube: okay, um today, i'm gon na be showing you guys a brand new wig. I have a brand new wig, of course it's a brand new wig, but i got this wig from curls curls. I haven't taken it out the box, yet i waited. I waited to open it up. Just for you guys not so much. I love y'all, we're gon na open it up open it up. It comes with this nice little card. It says curls curls. It comes with some wig combs. I guess for you to attach on the wig yourself, and it also comes with two wig caps and they're. My skin tone, so i love that that's really good, so the wig is like this little hair net thing go ahead and take that out whoa. This hair is like really thick wow. It'S well stitched. It is a 4x4 closure, because that's all i know how to wear. I don't know how to do frontals yet, but we're gon na get there we're gon na get there one day this is the chi chi. I think i'm saying it right. The chi chi wig. I actually like having wigs that are very, very coarse, because wigs tend to loosen up when you dye them so anytime, i'm anytime, i have natural hair clippings or a natural hair wig. This is my first natural hair wig. However, anytime i have natural hair textures that didn't grow from my scalp. I always go for the coarsest texture just because i don't really do dark hair. I rarely do dark roots. Don'T talk about me, i'm gon na dye, my hair soon but anyways. I always use bleach and use some type of dye to dye the hair, and since i know it's going to loosen up a bit, i always make sure i have the coarsest texture so that way it doesn't loosen up that bad. I hope that makes sense, because this hair is going to loosen up a little bit but y'all. This hair is like so thick. Do y'all see that texture like just for a second, let's just appreciate the curls okay, so i braided my hair completely down. I would show y'all, but my braids are hideous. I do not know how to braid. I'M not a professional i'll. Show you a little bit. Oh okay, that's enough! My hair is flat. That'S all y'all need to know. I still have this really coarse wig, which i'm so excited to dye. I'M gon na show y'all what it looks like with it: no styling, no, nothing just on my head, whoa wow. This is some really thick hair. I know y'all are probably thinking like how is she gon na dyed, his hair, but yeah i'm gon na? Do it i'm gon na get right into that so continue. So the first thing you're gon na want to do is make a bleach bath for your hair and to do that. You'Re, just gon na need bleach and 4d developer. You can use whichever level developer. You want. I just use 40 because it lifts the fastest and i'm trying to get through this process kind of fast, so you're going to add a good amount of developer and a really good amount of bleach. Just creating like a paste almost - and i also added a little bit of water to it as well, just to help with the mixture and the consistency of it. So after mixing up your bleach and developer you're going to just dip your wig there's no right or wrong way to dip your wig you're, just gon na make sure you get all the bleach. Well, all the mixture really through the hair. I, as you can see right now, i'm really just dipping and using my hands to get the bleach on every inch of the hair i possibly can, and with this being curly hair you are gon na have to make sure you get deep into the curls really Get into the hair because you don't want any patchy spots where it's still black hair, showing as you can see right now, the hair is starting to turn a light brown color. What i'm doing now is just going through each strand making sure that it's all bleached and now that i see that all of the hair is bleached it's time to rinse it y'all. When i rinse this hair, i was so happy at what i saw it is so pretty and i haven't even dyed it yet i'm so excited good morning. It'S the morning time i went to sleep. I didn't finish my hair. Of course i did so. This is how the wig turned out. This is just the bleach part. I have not made it ginger, yet it already kind of looks a little gingery, though the color did get all through the wig. There aren't any dark spots or anything. The curls did fall. A little bit, which is what i wanted, because i didn't want it to be too too thick, just reiterating what i said before in my previous clip that i always go for the kinkiest texture hair when i'm bleaching and dying and processing, hair or kinky curly hair, Because i don't want it to be like wavy like i wanted to keep those coils so mission accomplished and i'm about to turn this girl ginger. I know it looks ginger and it's light, but i swear it's light brown. So the method i use with dyeing the hair is the watercolor method. I did use a door and i used four different colors to start it out. I just poured hot boiling water into a container and just started pouring the colors i wanted. I don't think i used all four colors. I can't remember yeah, it's really easy, you just kind of put the water, the colors in the water and then i kind of put a little bit of water in each bottle and shook it up. So i could get all of that color out. That'S what i'm doing right now. I used the full bottle of everything, but the orange blaze, just because i didn't want my hair to be too too orange. I kind of wanted to stick to like more on the brown side versus the orange side, so the whole time i'm doing this, i'm just praying that it doesn't turn out too too orange so yeah. So this next step is probably the easiest step of this whole entire process. You literally just put the entire wig in the water, that's it the water is hot. I mean i know it's like steam coming from it, but it's very hot, but you really just stick the wig into the water and the color comes off on it. I think i'm so amazed by this process, because this is my first time actually watercoloring hair. I didn't know how easy it was going to be, but i'm probably going to use this method from now on, when i do dye my natural hair, extensions or any hair in the future, but this was the easiest process ever i highly recommend the watercolor method, and Now i'm finally finished and i'm very very pleased at what i see so i have dyed my hair. As you can see, it is like a it's like a burnt orange ginger, whatever you want to call it it's the color i wanted it to be. I really like it really really like it, and now i'm gon na get into styling the wig okay, you guys. So i am back. Excuse me, okay, guys, so i'm back and as you can see, my wig looks a little different than it did before. But if you have been tuning into my channel, then you would know that i did do a diva cut on this wig and i don't know if y'all can see that. But this is what it looks like. This is an older twist out. I was gon na style, it fresh for you guys, but i did get a little lazy. I do plan on doing some more hairstyles with this wig like twist outs, flexi rods, perm rod set, so all of that will be in a separate video, because this video already had a lot of details already, but this hair is easy to style. Like i said, this is an old twist out and the form is held really long, which is another reason why i love natural hair extensions, because the styles tend to last longer with them. I'M gon na show y'all what the unit looks like on my head. This is the unit i had on in my universal studios vlog, so it has been roller coaster tested on some of the rides. I did have to hold on to it like this, though you also can rock a side part with this. That is a bit puffy right now for the side part, but this is what it looks like on the side part. This is it. I really really do love this wig. I get so many compliments on it. People think it grew from my scalp, but it actually does look like my real hair, probably just a little bit thicker and coarser, but i love this wig the color looks lovely. The color has not faded. The curls is popping, so i highly highly highly recommend investing. Yes, i'm saying investing, because this wig was not cheap. Also, you can use my discount code, katherine. I think it's catherine, if it's not katherine whatever it is. It'S gon na be right here. Use my discount code, save you some money: okay, okay, okay, but for real go on the website.
