SMOOCHES! ❤️

Hey love bugs welcome back to my channel if you're tuning in for the first time, i'm ashley, and today, i'm teaming up with youth beauty to bring you this beautiful kinky, curly, lace, wig. Now here's a look at what she looks like straight out of the packaging. She is set as a 13 by 6 lace wig, i believe it's transparent lace, be sure to check the description box for details and a direct link to this wig for your viewing pleasure and, of course, to shop off camera. I went ahead and co-washed her with my aussie moist i like to do it in my sink, really quickly, just to kind of go ahead and soften up the curls and make them just a little bit more natural. Then i went ahead and put her on the mannequin head and got to plucking when it comes to plucking. I love to use my tweezer man, tweezers i'll, have them linked in the description box and honestly, it's so much easier. When i can stand how i want with the wig, but because i am filming - and the big tripod is right in front of me - is i'm at kind of like an awkward angle. So forgive me if it's a little bit weird or if i'm not doing as good as i should be. But this is just a process where you take your time just turn on some summer walker or whoever's your favorite at the time and just go ahead and plug away. I did cut out some of the clips and, as you guys can see, i also speeded it up a lot just because i don't know if you guys actually want to see this stuff. I feel like this is something that you can learn from. If you are a beginner, but at the same time, if you don't want to just see my fingers going back and forth, this may be annoying so feel free to speed ahead. If you already know the step or you're not interested in this step, but again i just kind of want to give you guys a little bit of variety and show you guys a little bit more of an advanced way to make your hairline look super good. So first step for me was to just go across the entire perimeter. I do work in sections i'll kind of do the center and then i'll do the opposite side and then the other side and then i'll part out what is considered baby, hair and tweeze. Some more and then i'm going to part out this side and then tweeze some more now. I probably was tweezing for about maybe 10 to 15 minutes. If you really really really want it to look like your favorite instagram baddie, i would recommend going in for at least 30 minutes. This is a very tedious thing to like tweeze out and really pluck, pluck, pluck, pluck and make it super gradient. You'Ll see how beautiful it's going to look on my head, especially at the very beginning, but if you wanted to be a lot more plucked going a little bit further back, you would do the same step where you kind of pull out a little bit of the Hair and part it or section it in the opposite direction. Like the baby hair section, you will go in and section a little bit more out and then tweeze section a little bit more and tweeze and just go far as far back as you need to to make it more gradient. Hopefully, i'm making sense i'll show you guys that soon in another video, how i kind of will detail, you know plug out a wig to make it look like an instagram betty. Next, i'm going to go in, you guys know the dynamic duo, it's so hard to complete a install without this, just because this is my favorite way to make my wigs look good on me. I love love, love, love, love, a good wax! Stick paired with the electric hot comb, so i just went ahead and applied a generous amount. I applied more to this curly hair because it is a kinky, curly texture and i kind of wanted the hairline to be more tamed, as well as a parting just like. If your real hair, no matter how, whatever texture your hair, you have you kind of want it to be super sleek in the front, and i used a little bit of heat. I tried not to kind of run the hot comb through it too much to damage the texture or manipulate the texture too much. I kind of just wanted it at that root in the very edge. Now i'm going to turn the wig head backwards and we're gon na go in with some mousse and you guys can see. Even though this is kinky, curly texture don't get it twisted. It is a very amazing texture. It never gave me a problem as far as like being like too kinky, where you couldn't get a comb through it or you know, even when i was co-washing it. It didn't give me any issues, but i do highly recommend that you co-wash especially textures, like so with a moisturizing conditioner i'll leave my favorite in the description box and another important step with this texture is the denman brush. You guys seen i detangled and applied the product with a wide tooth shower comb, and then i went in with a denman brush and kind of clumped the curls. If you kind of go back to the beginning of the that step. As far as the curls goes, it was nice and like um detangled and then the denman brush kind of clumped those curls together and made them a beautiful, beautiful texture. Now i'm going to go ahead and cut off the excess lace. If you are scared to cut the lace off, i highly recommend doing it on a wig head. That way, you can go slow and you can see exactly what you're doing and take your time, whereas with a wig on your head, when you cut out the excess lace, it's a little bit harder to see what you're doing in the mirror. Now that the wig is on it fits amazing, but you guys know, as always, one of the first steps i do when i put the wig on is make sure that it fits around the ear cutting off any extra lace. That may overlap my ear, and this is going to make the wig fit flat and flush. Also, remember that if you put on your wig and you don't feel like you have that space don't just cut because you see me cutting a lot of the times. Our heads are different sizes or even just different shapes, so you want to make sure that it fits you. You don't want to just cut, because i'm cutting now we're going to go ahead and bond it down. This is a glueless install. I am using a bed head, extreme hold hairspray and i just do it in sections. I did the center applying a nice thin coat, maybe even a thicker coat if you want um, put the lace on top immediately kind of hold it in place and allow it to start to dry and then i'll blow dry on a cool setting. Where you see it's a little bit white, it's because i turned the heat up to a hot setting and that heat mixed with that um non-glue adhesive just will react in that way a lot of times. If i'm in a rush, wait look at that hairline. That looks beautiful. That is what taking a little bit more time to customize your wig will give you a critique for myself. I should have thinned out the sideburn a lot more to match and then again, if you want to go further back to make it like a little bit more gradient, not making it bald, but just making it so that, like behind that beautiful hairline that we created It'S a little bit more thin, so it kind of is like a um. You know it leads up to the greatness. If that makes any sense, i'm going to go in with that same mousse, i used on the hair and pretty much do the baby hair or the sideburns. This is a no baby hair look but i did add sideburns honestly another critique for myself. I didn't need the sideburns, it's just a crutch, like i love having something in the front so like i was like okay, if i'm doing a baby here, i'm doing the sideburns, but i'm going to try and eliminate the sideburns. I went ahead and melted that down with an elastic band and blow dried that on a hot setting, just to make sure that it is super flat and melted in the front off camera. I did go in and spruce up the hair with a little bit of more water and a denim brush, just because i manipulated and moved the hair and pinned it up so many times. I just want to make sure that it was super smooth and as far as the wig goes, it was super easy to work with again you think of kinky curling. You think. Oh, it's going to be unmanageable or unruly, and that wasn't the case with this one. We'Re going to set it off with my fenty concealer in the parting, as well as some powder in the front, and this one was absolutely beautiful. I got so many compliments when i wore this wig, absolutely a must-have gon na greet the lord okay lovebugs. We are officially done with this look and i'm so happy with the way it came out. I did take the extra step and i went in and customized the hairline a little bit now. You can do this so much more. You can get so much more into it. I mainly did like the very front, and then i pulled out what would be considered like the baby hairspace and i went back just a little bit. But if i was arrogant, hey or like a hair, stylist or just had a little bit more patience, i would have went back a little bit further. That way, it can be a lot more gradient, but i knew i was going to go for no baby hair and it was just important to me that the front laid like a little bit more natural - i didn't want it to be too dense or thick in The front and then give you guys that and then you know no baby hair, because usually, if i don't tweeze the hairline, i kind of pull a bit baby hair forward. And to me that looks a little bit better. But between my plugging skills in the front. As well as the beautiful lace with a little added powder to it, it came out amazing and i feel like it looks so beautiful. One of my insecurities about lace and no baby here is that i feel like you can definitely always see that line of demarcation, but i mean i feel like you can also see it when you have baby hair, it's just baby hair in between it. It does camouflage it in a way, but it does like it make it an even more giveaway so to each his own. I feel like the general population prefers when we do no baby hair. So that's why i've been giving it to you a lot more often and plus it's just better to switch it up a little bit um. The wig is a 18 inch, kinky curly lace, wig. The actual closure is a 13 by 6. So it's not a closure. It'S technically a frontal that is my little spill. You guys know. I love you beauty. I do work with them. Quite often they have some amazing, wigs and i've. Definitely um reviewed a handful of them, so you can go through my channel. Just go to um. Actually calm, you can just hit um my my main page, my main channel um and basically, you can hit the search bar. I have a brain fart. Basically, you can go to my youtube channel, i'm ashley, b deck. Obviously, you can just hit my channel go to the search bar there and you'll be able to type in youth beauty and all the videos that i've done with you. Youth beauty will come up and you'll be able to see a couple of different options for yourself. If this is not something that is for you, if it is for you, of course, i have a direct link in the description box, including details and everything on this wig, as well as lists and links of everything i used to complete this look. So i hope you guys are enjoying your weekend. It is friday for me, so i'm going to go ahead and hang out with the kiddos a little bit. The kids want to watch stuart tonight and have a movie night, so i am ready to go for the weekend. This is gon na, be my beautiful weekend style.
