I Straightened My Kinky Curly Hair

Of course, i picked the day to do a straightening routine when it's pouring down raining outside. Like y'all can't tell me this is not one mine and two beautiful like beautifully mined honestly, i really don't want to straighten it, because i love the big hair curly mane. This is a wig from senosha hair. I literally fell in love with this wig on so many different youtubers. I was like obsessed with this wig at the beginning of the summer, and i had to have it so your girl got it and she's in love with it. I'Ve had the hair for quite some time and i have a definite opinion on it and some real thoughts about this hair. But that's not what this video is for. This video is to see if all this curly deliciousness can get bone straight. I'M going to kind of go through my straightening routine, i'm gon na imagine that this hair does not get that bone straight, just because it's so curly honestly, i really don't want to straighten it because i love the big hair curly mane, the girl loves it. Okay, like she loves it, but i do want to see if this hair can get bone straight. Of course, i picked the day to do a straightening routine when it's pouring down raining outside but anywho. So today's video is literally going to be of us trying to see what baby can do. I am upset hold on a second. Let me just let me just sit with us for a second hold on. Okay, i just wanted to just have some time with her, because i i mean i got her for a reason like y'all can't tell me. This is not one mind and two beautiful like beautifully mined. Like you know what i'm saying those things go together, i have a lot of thoughts and opinions on this hair. However, i do not want to make this video a review per se. I think i'm going to make that video a separate video just because i want to say everything i need to say when i need to say it, so i just want to show you guys how i'm going to straighten this hair, so we're going to hop right Into this straightening process, by the way i have this little band on because i just installed this wig - i didn't want to do that on camera, because i didn't want to prolong the video even more. This is a lot of hair okay, so the video is already going to be crazy long. So i didn't want to prolong that with um. You guys seen an install. I have plenty of install videos if you guys want to see on my channel. I just washed it before i put her on. I just shampooed her. I did not condition her because i knew that i was gon na be putting a lot of moisture and all of that stuff. On my hair, i didn't want the hair to be weighed down once i knew i was like blow drying it and flat ironing and stuff. I don't know if you guys know this or not, but preserving. My curls is probably the most important thing with my natural hair and with my weave, so it's very important to use a heat protectant. I have two that i'm going to use here. This is my favorite to use on my wigs and weaves. This is my tresemme. This is literally my favorite heat protectant, like ever in the entire world. Baby just gets silky, soft and flowy is what she gets us, and then i also have the sim elements mega silk. I normally particularly use this on just my natural hair, just because it does give a super like oily and sleek and chic finish. So i don't like to use this on my weave a lot just because this really weighs your hair down and that's more specifically for my natural hair, but i'm going to use it today. Just because i do want the hair to stay in like the sleek state. As long as possible, like i said, it's raining outside y'all, and why did i decide to do this today? We'Re just gon na pray about it and hope for the best, so i'm gon na take my comb and just detangle from the bottom to the root. That'S how we kind of, like you know, preserve and minimize the shedding of whatever, so i'm gon na do that to both little i broke it down into smaller sections. Just because i want this to be, you know as flowy and as silky as we can get it so we're gon na use the smallest sections we can today and doing this problem now that i'm detangled i'm just going to take some of my tresemme. Oh, i liked it some of my tresemme and just give a very generous spray. This stuff smells so good too. Then i'm just going to take just a tiny bit, a tiny bit of the silk elements to give us that moisture that we need also, hopefully my grandma, don't kill me, because this is her blow dryer and she just got it praise god, i'm gon na put This on a warm to hot setting and just to kind of make the process go a little bit faster. Here is the first little sections blown out. They don't look too bad. I'M gon na continue on with the rest of my hair and we're gon na come back once we're all the way blown out so so my lion's mane is officially out she's, fully blow dried and looking real diana ross-ish. I'M gon na put one section away the smaller sections, the better, because we want this to be extra bone straight. I'M gon na do the chase method with my brush, i'm actually gon na take this section. Grandmother has clips for days. I mean honestly, i'm gon na. Take my flat iron: these are cheap flat, irons and slow and steady wins the race. She not straight straight. If one more person called my phone one more just one more, i'm gon na go crazy. Here is those two little small sections. It'S not like super bowl straight, but it is straight. I'M gon na continue to go. Maybe i need to use more heat protectant, i'm gon na spray, just a little bit more on and we'll go from there, but i just um plugged in this other flat iron that i have here and i'm gon na see. If that helps at all and makes a difference, i don't know i don't this flat. Iron is kind of like whack to me. I don't really like it, but i'm gon na see if this other flat iron is a revlon. This is actually a chi and this is a red one, so i'm gon na see which one i like better. So i'm gon na just feed this process up and i'm gon na just come back, we'll be done or halfway. I don't know i'm gon na just come back to y'all so so far this is what we have. This is just the blown outside, and this is the straighten side she's, giving me very much blowout vibes, like brazilian blowout. That'S what i'm getting it's really cute, though, but i just wish it was just a little bit more sleek. This is jerry curly hair, so i'm not expecting like too much of a bone straighten like i said in the beginning, but you know this is what she's giving us and i really like the texture look. So it honestly looks like yaki straight hair like when you straighten it. That'S what it looks like it's giving me that thickness of the yaki straight texture, but this thing actually straight so you know, i said this is what we got for right now. I'M gon na do the other side. I just wanted to show you guys where i was right now the ends kind of look a little straggly also, so i'm probably going to cut them when i finish, but let me just keep on going because shout out this is a process do so as we Can see my hair is already beginning to puff back up, but here is the finished look or what i don't want. I'M just gon na hit my whatever this is type of baby hair with some mousse and try to ladies puppies down y'all know. We don't do well with the baby hair community, but we try to do our best honestly. This is what we're giving so. This is what we got pretty sure once i go outside, though it's gon na definitely puff up and then somehow curl back up, i'm gon na give y'all a definite, a definite update, it's already starting that curl right here. So the test was to try to see if the hair was straightened. It got straight ish, but i'm sure it won't stay straight for long. So here's what we got i'll show you guys the back. I know the back is wavy. I can feel it we'll just deal with it when we do, but that is the end of this video. I hope that you all enjoyed it make sure you give it a big thumbs up.
