Toning 613 Hair And Tinting The Lace W/ No Dark Root | Blackshowhair

Hey guys, what's up, i'm brianna and today i'm going to be showing you how i blend this 613 unit without dark roots on myself, so stay tuned for this ride, because it's definitely a crazy one. So the first mistake that i made throughout this video was trying to tone the 613 wig with purple shampoo. Now it does work you guys. Purple shampoo does work to tone your hair or your 6 13 bundles, but you want to make sure that you do not put too much shampoo into your mixture. I don't know the formula or the ratio, but just do not put too much. You only need a little bit because, if you put too much as you can see, your hair is going to be purple. So i had ended up pouring out half the water and just adding more water into the solution trying to water it down, and it did tone the hair after this, but i still had purple tones at the ends where i had first dipped this wig. So i just went ahead and bought some willa toner from sally's, and i used the very light blonde in nine in slash nine eleven i'll have that color down in the description box. But this toned the hair perfectly. It stripped those purple tones out of this wig and it just made everything perfect. So i just recommend, if you don't know the ratio or if you don't trust yourself to you know, do it slowly or incorporate the purple shampoo slowly into the mixture. Then just go ahead and just get some well a toner, it's not expensive and it does the trick every single time. You just use your 20 volume or 10 volume developer, whatever the directions, stay and you're good to go, because you don't want your hair to be purple. So after it dried, i went in with my lace tint my tailor made lace tint. So right now i'm using medium. This is the second mistake that i made 613 lace is basically very very light. It'S it's basically white and blending it with darker skin tones can sometimes be a challenge, so i did want to use a lace tint, but this lace tint, is too light. I needed to go in with the dark, so i went in and used the dark, and this is how the dark looks, the darks the dark matches perfectly, and i should have just use that all along. So this is what i ended up with. So the hard thing about putting this wig on guys was, it was just a little bit too big and it was kind of weirdly shaped because the middle kind of came down on my forehead a little bit too far, and then the sides kind of were i Just basically had to really customize the front of this lace to fit my hairline to make a long story short. So now i'm going in with my got to be glued spray, and just you know, laying the lace down. The second mistake that i made - or the third mistake i think i'm on the third mistake - i put um the lace tint. The way that i put the lace tint, i put it on the block head when i should have just left it off of the block head and applied the lace tint, so that it would not bleed onto the roots of the hair, because i wanted a no Root look for this unit, so on the left side you guys can see it did get on the roots, but on the right side it didn't get on the roots as much. So i just made my part on the right side so that you wouldn't see this side. It won't be like completely exposed and it all worked out fine. So i'm super surprised on the outcome of this unit. Guys, like i just honestly, was just gon na really just write the company and be like look. I couldn't do it too many mistakes, but i stugged it out spent the day, correcting my issues and it actually turned out really good. I really like it more than i was anticipating it's given storm vibes. It'S given. I don't know, y'all comment down below what it's given. So i was initially gon na do like a curl bang and i was gon na put it up in a ponytail or like a bun, but as i was styling it, i realized that i liked it better down and you'll, see how i style it in a Minute but right now, as you can see, i'm kind of trying to figure that out like what am i gon na, do. How am i gon na wear it? So i go in with my hot comb and guys 613 hair is just like regular hair. You want to hot comb. It make sure that it's flat and you're able to you know, lay your hair. The way you want to lay it so my hot comb did work really really good. With this hair and with everything that i put this hair through this hair held out - and it really looked good in the end and you guys will have to stay tuned to see that, but i just really like the way that it turned out. So now i'm just going in and cutting off the ends. I just wanted it to be a little bit shorter and um for no particular reason. I just was like when i decided to curl it i was like i just might as well cut it blunt and then i also thought about just doing a blunt cut like a bob and just leaving it like this. So i was just kind of unsure, but, as you guys can see once i start curling it then i definitely was like. I like this look so right here, i'm just parting out the part, so i can do like my little bang, which i thought i was gon na do, but i didn't end up doing um and yeah guys. This is just basically the styling portion so i'll. Let you watch this but, like i said, i made a lot of mistakes in this video. So hopefully you can learn from my mistakes, but it still turned out pretty decent and i did like the outcome so stay tuned to the end for the finished product. Okay, guys, so this is the finished. Look, it's been a long day of doing this hair. So if you watch the video, then you know everything that i went through. I ended up using um toner to just tone this wig because of the purple tones in it, and i did not like that, so the toner always comes in clutch. I don't know why. I didn't just go to sally's and get toner to begin with, because it just would have made the process so much easier. Also with the lace tint, i used the dark instead of the medium, because i always forget that when you're using 613 hair, the lace is lighter and you sometimes or most of the time you need a darker tint to match the lace with your skin tone. So i had to use the dark of the dark lace, tint and i think next time i'm definitely going to be a little bit more careful with the lace tint because, as you guys can see, it did bleed a little bit on the hair. But in some parts it didn't so i just know that i have to be a little bit more careful if i want to be able to just tint the lace and not the actual hair. So this was just like a big learning curve. Guys like this whole video was just me: learning learning learning it's been a full day of doing this wig, but i can say that i was able to tough it out. I really like the finished results and i actually like this look guys, i'm actually about to go out, so we're going to see how i like it. You know in public and stuff like that, but for the most part i do really like this hair.
