Hi my loves it's Susquehanna and welcome and welcome back to my channel so my time in Atlanta, the hottest, so they probably be showing their body about time. I don't got me. I had a fox fine and I'm about mine. I go outside sneak a call on my shouting good girl, but I love me so in today's video I'm going to be showing you guys how I was able to customize the knots of this wig tone the hair and get it to looking like this. So if you guys are interested just keep on watching to learn how I achieved this, look, if you guys like this video, please give me a thumbs up. If you like anything about this wig installation, video make sure you subscribe to my channel join the fam. You guys make sure you follow me on all my social medias. I also post a lot of content over there and let's get into this with y'all. Okay, you guys. So this is the wig that I ordered to do my hair for my birthday wig. It was a 24 inch blonde wig. I got it from AliExpress and honestly guys. This wig was actually really good. I didn't have any problems with it so to tone the knots on this long wig. As you guys know, you don't bleach any knot. I just had a bunch of white knots that I really wanted to get rid of, so I just went ahead with the 1035 Wella toner and some 30 bleach developer, but honestly you're supposed to use 20 volume. But I wasn't going to go out and buy 20 volume, so I just used what I already had and that was 30, so it made it go a little faster than usual, but honestly guys it wasn't even like that fast, like you can go ahead and use The 30., so I did go ahead and use that whole bottle of Willow toner. But in my opinion, you don't have to use the whole bottle, just use enough to put all over your wig and then I'm just slowly mixing it in to make sure it's a good consistency. I believe mine was a little thick. That'S why I went in the end and put a little bit more, because the consistency of my mixture was pretty thick. In my opinion, I think it's supposed to be like a little bit runnier, but not too runny, because then it'll run through your wig, but not so thick that it's just sitting on top and then initially. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to use the whole bottom of the Wella toner. This was my first time doing this. You guys, usually I would not have told my bleach wig, because I didn't even know of being able to tone them after that, you guys. I just spread that mixture all over the wig's lace as well as the upper part, and then, after that I go ahead and rinse out the mixture from my wig and then I go ahead and wash the wig. And then that's just me showing you guys that it really did work like them. Knots was not white no more, and I do think that I did mine a little too dark, but it ended up looking great you guys, like it, ended up being fine, but I do think mine was a little bit on the dark side. So if you're a little lighter than me, maybe mix that toner with um a lighter Solution, One or if you're the same color as me add like a dash of the lighter mixture in it or darker than me. Then that's perfect, and then, after that, you guys. You know I love toning, my hair, I actually don't mind my blonde being a little yellow. That'S actually how I like it. So I don't like to do the purple shampoo dipping too much, because I don't like the ash blonde. Look on me. I like more of like a yellowish but a light, yellow blonde. So here I am just dipping it. You guys continue dipping it. I dip it dip it. That'S usually how I always do it and then what I never actually do is leave it in the tub, because I know that when I leave it in the tub, it always turns out blonder than I want, so I did leave it in the tub y'all. Another thing in the tub for only 30 seconds, but because of my luck, LOL and doing stuff that I know I never do. The tips of my hair did turn ash blonde and I think that's because when I was dipping it, that was the part that was in the mixture. The longest was the tips of my hair, but if you don't want that second discoloring make sure we are dipping. Your hair, you take that hair all the way out of the bucket and then dip it again, and if you don't want that Ash Bond look, do not leave it in the bucket for any amount of time. The dipping will be completely fine. You guys can see me playing with it like. Is that really blonde blonde, or is that just like me tripping, but no it was ash blonde, so the top of the hair was regular blonde and the bottom was ash blonde. I was like really like really honestly. You guys you couldn't even notice it once I actually did my hair guys. I just go ahead and start plucking, my hair and yeah. I'M not gon na lie. I plug this hair, so good like at the end. This might be the best looking saw. I'Ve ever done on myself, like the hair, was giving scalp like it was growing out of my head, like I dyed my hair blonde. This part you guys all I'm doing is plucking my hair. I lay it down with my hot comb and then I get to work. I actually saw another YouTuber say that she uses these tweezers and these were really some well tweezers. They were able to get all the hairs that I needed to get out so go ahead and pick out up some Revlon tweezers. They were really good and then you guys can just watch the rest of the video. All I'm going to be doing is tweezing and y'all. Why was I holding on this mannequin head like that, like how my mommy used to hold my head down when she was doing my hair? It was a god I wan na spread foreign, oh, what they can understand foreign and then, after I finish tweeting, you guys it's time to install the actual wig. My nails were already done and I cannot braid my hair with nails on y'all see my face. Bro. We don't suppress, is getting old and then B2B start coming back. Ah that was hurting me brushing them out. But luckily for me my hair was like in a old press state, so all I did was put in a ponytail and lay it flat at the back foreign guys I put on my wig cap and you guys know how this goes. I just glue it down to my head. I got to be glue spray and I make sure all my edges are back foreign foreign when I switch Ed stocking Capital razor as well as my wigs lace with a razor. It just gives you a more natural look in my opinion and then I'm just trying on this wig you guys to see how much more of my wig cap I either need to cut or if it's in a good position for me to put my wig on So that, underneath you cannot see it foreign makeup on my wig because I had toned it already and I didn't want it to be too dark, because the toner I used was a little dark for my skin. I end up going ahead and putting that makeup on my lace as well, because the toner really didn't help like around the perimeter of my head, where I needed it to melt into the color of my skin. So I went ahead and put that makeup on there and I put that wig back on my head and everything was looking good. Everything was looking nice, I'm telling y'all, it was matching the skin perfectly, like your girl has never did it installed. This good foreign and cut off my ear tabs, you guys and honestly on one of the sides. I did cut off a little bit too much, but once I did my baby hairs like you, you can't notice if you make any mistakes on the lace. Trust me there's always a way to fix it. You just have to play around with it and make sure that you actually fix it. I'Ve been doing wigs for a minute, so I know like how much lace to cut, and even if I cut a little bit more, there's always a way to finesse it foreign right next to each other baby. We shouldn't be anything so much, oh what they can understand, hope that I see before so after I cut them ear tabs off. You guys. I just go in with my alcohol and get all that makeup off the perimeter of my face because I'm very prone to breaking out. So if you are too that's an important step, you do not want to miss. After that, you guys I just go in with my bold hold glue and I actually y'all. I absolutely hate this glue, not gon na lie um. This is just the only one I had, and I paid 40 for this bottle so best believe it's gon na get done, but I do not recommend this glue. If you have sensitive skin it will not mix well with your skin just a little disclaimer. So yeah you guys. That is the glue that I went in with and I went in with four layers. I just spread them out, make sure one layer dry before I add another layer and I did go in with so many layers, because I am going on a trip and I needed my wig to stay put for the whole trip, because I did not plan on Doing it again before I get home, I know and then I'm just laying it down you guys pressing it in with my comb, making sure everything is laid and so laid, and then, after that, I'm going to go ahead with my elastic band and make sure everything Is down and y'all, I'm not gon na lie. This elastic band has completely changed the way I did installs like, of course, I knew about the elastic band, but I never got one that actually worked well with me, so I was just sticking to my little silk scarf, so y'all get y'all an elastic band. I got mine on Amazon, you can also get them from the beauty supply store. It completely changed the way I do installs literally and then y'all. This is me just admiring myself, because I'm like oh, this is growing out of my scalp, like your girl looks good. She looks nice she's gon na be slaying for her little birthday period. So then, you guys after that I was just putting down my baby hairs on like where I wanted them to go and how I wanted them to look. And then, after that, I've been seeing all the tick, tock and YouTube girly. Do the Ebon, hair spray or hair hold spray, and I was like okay. Let me try this out because got to be giving me cakes and flakes everywhere. So let me try another glue and y'all. The girlies was right. So then, after that last Ebon hairspray, I put on two elastic bands, because that was the last round of glue. I was putting on my hair, you guys so I needed it to really stay down and then sorry about the format of this clip. You guys the video I had of me cutting my lace off the YouTube way. Completely disappeared. I don't know where went so. I had a tick tock, video of me, cutting half my lace, so I just used that one, but I just wanted to show you guys how I actually cut it with the razor to give you that zigzag motion for a more natural look. Sometimes we say things that we really don't mean. I'M sorry foreign. Thank you guys so much for watching this video. I hope you enjoyed it. I hope you're able to learn something. I am absolutely in love with my hair. You guys, I hope you guys are too don't forget to subscribe to my channel.
