So i saw that video a while ago, and i thought i should comment on how to avoid losing your edges. Whenever you wear wigs. I'Ve been wearing wigs for a very long time now and i can proudly say that i have all my edges and i want to teach you how you can keep yours too. So from my knowledge, i believe there are three main reasons as to why girls lose their edges whenever they consistently wear wigs. Those reasons being the type of glue that you use. The stocking cap method and the method in which you remove your wig. I'M going to start with the type of glues that you should use. This glue is not water soluble. This glue is water soluble, so i prefer to use this glue on a day to day basis, because i do my own hair and i recognize on my hair stylist. So not everybody has the luxury of getting their hair done every day. But if you can - and you do your hair by yourself - try to reach for this glue because it allows for you to remove it with just water easily, and then it has no impact on your edges whatsoever. From my personal experience, whereas this one, you want to be very careful how you remove it, i like to use 70 to 99 alcohol, preferably 99, just to remove it as easily. So what you will do you will saturate the frontal of the hairline area and then slowly remove the wig and now. The second reason i know is controversial is a stocking cap method. I personally love. The stocking cap method allows for my hairline to look as natural as possible, but, depending on how you use the stocking cap method and how your hair stylist does it can cause a lot of damage to your edges. Now. What i will do with my clients is, let's say the hairline is right here i will follow the natural shape in which the hairline is formed and flatten it with the rat tail comb just so that the cap is able to adhere for a long amount of Time onto the client's head and for the remainder i will use got to be spray all over just because it is water soluble and it will facilitate the process in which they're able to remove the wig later on for the girls with the lower hairlines, you want To be extra careful because the process can be a little bit more intricate um, so most of the time girls with lower hairline will have hair going down this way and makes the process a little trickier. But it's not impossible. So you'll do the exact same thing and glue all the way around the hairline and then, when you go to place the frontal to be able to glue it down what you'll do is you'll cut into the lace right here to avoid having to glue the lace On the actual hairline, if you guys want a tutorial on that, it's a little bit complicated to like sound out, let me know and i'll film one, for you final reason why i feel, like girls lose their edges while wearing wigs is the method of removal. Now please y'all, i am begging, you do not rip your wig off. Whenever you are done with it, you will literally rip your edges off with it. Try being patient in your removal whenever you use ghost bond, make sure to saturate the hairline with alcohol and slowly remove it in order to preserve your hairline
