How I Color, Cut, Style, And Install My Lace Frontal Unit | Lumiere Hair

What'S up guys, it's a girl, Simone Charisse and today in this video, it's gon na be a long tutorial. Okay, so go get your Twizzlers go, get your chips, sit down and watch this from beginning to end. So I went ahead and I experimented with this wig. I went into color, I used some periwinkle. I only had half a bottle left, so I went ahead and poured that into the bucket and then I used a little piece of blonde hair just to experiment. Make sure this was the cousin that I in fact wanted and because it was, I went ahead and use my wig from Lumiere wigs, which took to the color very well, and I dipped it into the bucket make sure you are really just making that water go. All through the wig you want to get every track. You want to get every West. Do you want to get the roots by the lace? Okay, but you can see it. The water is just so lighter than what it was. So I tried to squeeze out as much periwinkle as possible, but I didn't have enough. So I went ahead and I used some African violets now guys. This color is potent okay, so do not drip too much literally drip drip just a little bit and pour it in there make sure you drip a little bit more just to get that Club, but don't do too much pres discolor. It will turn your entire wig of violet blue. I didn't let the hair sit in the bucket because I didn't want it to get darker, so I just let it sit on the side for about five minutes guys and it was literally colored. Now do not shampoo. Your hair, because if you shampoo your hair, you are going to be stripping the color. Okay, so only use a conditioner and really just make sure you're washing out any excess color, and that's pretty much it guys. This was my end result. So now I went ahead and I wanted to style this wig, so I went ahead and sprayed it because I went into cutting guys now, I'm no pro on cutting. So I pretty much did cutting based on what I thought it was and lots of tutorials on YouTube. Okay, so that's how I was able to get this look that I was looking for the cut that came out very neat and then I went ahead and I used some green razor scissors razor comb. The green thing I'm using to go ahead and give me some more layers and volume and more cutting the very next morning. I woke up, and I started this wig immediately and I decided that I wanted to do a blow-dried look. So that's what I'm gon na do guys. I am a blow-dry lover. I love the look that I blow-dry gives you. It just makes the hair look so much more fresher, but towards the end, I ended up showing you guys both looks how it looks when it's blow-dried and how it looks when it's straighten with a flowering. So you guys can be the judge on what you guys like most. Would you like? Look the blow-dry look, or did you like the flower and look, but, as I mentioned in my other videos, it is very hard for me to explain how to do this. Blow-Dry method, I think I might need to sit down and really plan that one out, because at the same time I I know what I'm doing it's hard for me to explain how to tell you guys to do it, because I'm pretty much it's free styling and It comes out just good, I think you just have to have the flick of the wrist, and I don't know how to explain this, but I can definitely give you guys a full blown tutorial. One day I just have to UM. You know believe myself a little bit mo. This was my technically my end. Result was really giving me like a rich wife vibes, so I went ahead and I plucked the front sole just a little bit, because I wanted to look a little more natural now. The blonde hair plucking is very hard because you want to make sure that it looks natural. You don't want to keep it very just straight cuz. It will just look like a wig and that's not our point here. Hence it is a wig. I went ahead and I used some makeup is to color the frontal a little bit to make it match my skin cuz. It will be very white now guys ignore my mind year old braids, I'm kidding it's not a year old, but ignore my old-ass looking braids. Okay, I just didn't needed to do this wig, okay. So what I had - and I use some got - ta - be glutes, just kind of like to mush the back my edges back and make it look as natural as possible, and then I tied it down just so that it's nice and slick. Look at them ways. Just saying, let me stop so now I have the wig on my head. It'S a little bit more in neater. I'M gon na be within the bold hold okay, so this glue, it's actually really good. So I wanted to use the bold whole data. Take some pictures for you guys thumbnail, thumbnail, thumbnail, okay, so I went ahead and I just do some dots on the front of my hairline before my hairline, because you don't want this stuff to get into it thumbnail. You don't want this stuff to get into your hair at guys, as I do my videos I'm doing thumbnails on time, so I'll hold long poses. For that reason, which is why I keep on stopping but anyways thumbnail. So what I did was, I just put the glue around my edges and then I just smoothen it out a little bit with the comb. You can use a popsicle stick, which is much more better, but I got a more eye sees left as cold as winter and I didn't go to jo-ann. So I had to settle for a comb - and I just put this on my forehead and just let it stick, let it do its magic bolt-hole, just press down a little bit with the comb. Okay, I'm lying press down a lot with the comb just to make it like really stick to your skin and just let it sit there for a while and went ahead, and I tied it down with a head scarf for about an hour. I let it sit for an hour okay. Now I went ahead and I you guys know I always cut in three pieces when it comes to the lace, because for me it's just ten times easier. So I cut the middle part. Then I go to the sides. Then I go to the other side and my sides never stick. Okay. I just think that's just a thing for me. I think that's a small Charice issue. Just it's not stick, so I use you have to go back and add more glue and then it sticks and then I'm just I'm trying to trim off as much least as possible guys because this highlighted hair line is not gon na. Do the job. Okay, I look. I look crazy. Oh I got this baby tres edge control brush. You know this thing is popping okay, so the side comes with a comb and another side comes with a brush and that comb is hard as hell and it really scooped out those baby hairs. I'M not gon na lie it. I can't wait to use on my road here because it's an amazing product like I am amazed by it. Oh and the end, it's so pointy and you can use it as a comb. You heard it here first, so I went ahead and I just got some baby hairs out made it look much more natural or whatever. Now I feel like for blonde wigs for colored wigs. You have to put a little bit more, give it a little bit more TLC, because you do not want your edges to look crazy. You know you ever see those girls on the street and their lace is like ten shades lighter than a skin. They look crazy. No, we don't want to look like that. Okay, so we're not going to look like that. You want to make sure you are spending time around the hairline. You don't want to look like you just do this wig on and now you look crazy. Okay, you want to make sure you give it. Some TLC really spend time on it, so it will take you a little bit longer when it comes to colored. Wigs are especially blonde wigs or just lighter colored, wigs, okay, I'm also not a fan of the crazy stuff down baby here on platinum, colored, wigs or blonde wigs. So I tried to make the front look as natural as possible without got ta, be gluing, my edges down like a mad man. Okay, so just keep that in mind. That'S my perfect, that's my opinion, but I'm all about if you're gon na wear a color, we're gon na make Halle, look right. We'Re not gon na make her look like it looks it's a Party City wig speaking of wigs, so this wig is from a Lumiere hair. I believe this one is 12 inches or 14 inches. Clearly I cut it to be about ten. Eight inches really love the feel of this hair. There were a lot of flyaways on this unit. When I say a lot, I mean a lot like you're gon na see it in a few. Well, you probably seen it already so many flyaways that part was driving me nuts, and then I thought I could have got a little bit more thicker like it could have been a higher density because towards the back I feel like you could see some of the West, if you did not part it or comb it properly, so that's an issue. I did add makeup to the parts that could be more natural because we need natural Tings going on, and this was my end result guys. I really really really loved it and I hope you guys did too.
