Hey everyone. Thank you so much for being here today. My name is Denise, I'm also known as hey wig sister on Instagram and Facebook. Today, I'm here with the wig review in partnership with name brand wigs. This is Courtney by John Renault in the brand new color Sunshine. The code for this color is s14-16 slash, 88 Ro. These are their new ombre colors. They have a um four of them. I think five of them something like that, but this one is called sunshine. I'Ve never reviewed Courtney, so we'll review this wig and this color, and I will tell you everything I know if you want to know more stick around so these fibers are really typical, John Renault fibers. I find their fibers to be a little bit on the drier side. They'Re not super soft and wispy they've got a little bit of heft to them. I wouldn't say that they're a thick fiber but they're not like a fine hair, either they're sort of a medium denier. Fiber - and you know all wigs - are different. All synthetic wigs are different. Some have more of a thicker fiber that more mimics people with kind of thicker hair. Some wigs have a very light: fine fiber that mimic people with fine hair. This is sort of in between those, and it definitely has a bit of a dryness to it. That can cause some Tangles, especially at this length. Now I think they mitigated that really well with the density, and you know making it a little thinner toward the end, but you will definitely want and you can see I've played with it some and I'm not struggling terribly with Tangles. So this is not a highly tangly piece, but it will tangle some, especially at the back, especially at the nape carry a wide tooth comb with you everywhere you go and just periodically comb through it. That is one of the ways that you care for synthetic fibers. Just a little bit differently than human now, like I said in the beginning, this is a fully hand-tied piece. I will take the cap off and show it to you in a second, but let's take a look at that lace front, so it has a lace front and they did a really good job. With this lace front, you can see that right there. The lace goes from here to here, so if you want to do updo styling, you can absolutely do that. You just want to make sure to be careful about that transition right there and just maybe pull a few fibers down just to hide that transition, and because this is a hand-tied cap, it has a full mono top and you can part it anywhere on the top. So you don't have to do a center part, a left, part or right part. You can do whatever you want in in that monofilament there, which pretty much covers the whole top of your head, so make sure that you can part it wherever you want. You can change it up if you want to soft ear tabs extended nape, velcro adjusters, and there is all of that hand tied that's one of the reasons why this is so expensive. It'S hand-tied a human being hand-tied each of these fibers in here it gives it so much more realism than a wefted wig, because on wefted wigs, the hair fibers can't move like your hair fibers can in sort of all directions because they're tied into a track. This means they can move in all directions. You can do all kinds of styling, you don't see any wefting. So if the hair were to blow it will not show cap. If you have no hair at all, it will look like scalp underneath there. If you have hair that may make it look a little bit less like scalp, but I still think it's going to look incredibly realistic. Hand-Tied caps are very premium very comfortable, very low profile to the Head. Another great benefit to a hand-high piece is how flat it feels when you touch it. If you're worried about someone knowing that you're wearing wigs, maybe someone close to you and there's a chance that they'll put their hand on your head as long as they'll. Try to give you a scalp massage and they just touch your head. They will not feel cap, it feels like your head, and so that is another huge benefit and for my wig sisters, who are super super self-conscious that they're wearing wigs worried that people will know. It'S a really big benefit now, because this is low density, no poof you're, not getting any volume out of this one. I really don't think even if you use styling products, even if you take steam to it, I don't think you're going to get much volume because you don't have anything to support it and the density just really isn't there. So this is perfect for someone looking for a low profile flat to the Head very realistic. I mean it's super tuckable can tuck it. You could cut bangs into this. You can do ponytails, you can do all kinds of styling. You can put it in braids. One of the benefits to a fully hand-tied cap is the fact that you can style it and you don't have to worry about hiding tracks. Now, if you wanted to do a ponytail, you could pull a little hair out so that you would um kind of Disguise where the Cat meets your head and it all depends on how it fits you and then you sort of pull it back and stick it In a ponytail it would be really really easy to style. Now I took the wig grip off that I had on, because I want to tell you guys about fit and I pulled it off. So let me put it back on for you guys, as I was messing with it, I pulled it back a little bit now. John Renault runs typically very, very true to average their cap size. This cap is actually fitting me a little big um. I have to cinch it in for it to be comfortable because it is running a little big. My circumference is 22 inches, that's really solidly average, and this thing is running big on me. So I really think 22 and a half you're fine. The stretch is awesome. Really really good stretch, I honestly think, probably even up to 23 may fit this it's hard for me to estimate a whole inch bigger than me, but judging on the fact that I've cinched it in it has so much stretch, it seems to be running big on Me I'm I'm really thinking this could fit average large. Now these ear tabs come way down in the front. Now my hair's sticking out because it's a terrible length right now, but with that weight grip on you couldn't see my hair, so the ear tabs really come down low. I have very very petite over the top of my head measurements. You can find all my measurements in the description box below If This Were any bigger on me. I think these ear tabs would be on my ears, so it's definitely running a little bit big, even though I'm very petite over the top of my head and then I get a bunch of extra cap up here. So it's it's. You know as far as circumference. I think average large as far as the rest of the measurement, probably more true to average. That'S that's a bit harder to estimate with all the stretch, though it might be worth trying. So if you struggle to find wigs to fit you - and you haven't - tried John Renault - maybe try John Renault and a hand-tied cap. They really have so much stretch all right. Let'S talk about this color sunshine, so the code again is S14. That'S the Shaded part of it, the rooting, so it's a 14, then you've got a 26 and then the Ombre is an 88. The RO at the end means Renault ombre, that's their unique code for their ombre colors, so uh 14 is typically more of a a dark ash blonde. Sometimes it's referred to as a light brown. It depends on how they pull that code when they describe this color. They describe it as medium brunette roots, I'm not seeing medium brunette in this. I really think it's more of a light Brown, definitely more of a light brown versus anything darker than that. This feels blonde to me. This next to all of this could even be thought of as a dark blonde. So I really think that 14 straddles the Brunette blonde line. If you are a brunette and you don't wear blondes very often don't let this fool you. This is going to feel very blonde to you. The 26 is a medium golden blonde. They kind of describe that as honey blonde in their description. So it's sort of uh. You know you've got this fade down into these more light blonde. Some Platinum there isn't really platinum in this. It'S a very warm, very golden color, but every now and then you catch a hemp hint or a glimpse of what might be platinum. That'S that 88, 88 isn't really a color on the color code. It'S more of a blend and wigs I've seen that have that color code tend on the more kind of platinum-y side wherever that 88 is so what you've got? Is this really true, ombre kind of dark blonde Fading Into more light and golden blonde? Let me take it off. I put that wig grip back on, so that I would keep pulling this off my head, so you can see. Hopefully you can see. All of this is that 14 every now and then you get a hint of a lighter color in there. That'S! What I think is that 88 right there is very light and then down here you've got more of that kind of golden honey blonde. It'S really just subtly Fading Into lighter and then every now and then you get a stripe of a very light. Color, that's the 88.! Now because this is so golden and it's leaning on the blonde side, it is a little shiny. I do think quite a few people are going to find this shiny and we'll want to Tamp that down with some dry shampoo. If you get wigs and you feel that the synthetic fibers have too much shine, dry shampoo is a great option, just spray it with some dry shampoo kind of Comb it in, and that should help Tamp down the shine. The shine will dissipate over time with wearing and washing and as it gets dirty, it won't look as shiny, but in the beginning, if you find it too shiny. I do see some of that shine and I do think it's a largely a product of this kind of warm golden color, all right, everybody, let's get outside, so that you can see this color outside. Let me know if you have any questions for me. I think women who like to wear more warm blondes like a little bit of the darker tones - you don't necessarily want brunette but you're, not a light blonde either. This could be a great one and I don't think I think they did a really good job of making. This look intentional as opposed to regrowth. That'S just my opinion. I saw another review kind of described that as regrowth. I really don't see it that way. It'S also not Stark, which I think is a question. A lot of people have all right, let's get outside, so you can see this color outside thanks once again name brand wigs for working with me and allowing me to show this to everybody I'll see you guys in my next video hi friends we are outside. Let me just show this to you. I actually have my coat on one arm. Can you see that I felt like it was just blending with my coat, so I took my coat off I'm a little cold, but this won't last long that way. You'Ll get to see this blonde a little bit better against my gray shirt. I just love the dark to light blonde that they have going on with this. The rooting is not dark. It'S just that dark blonde light brown, and then it goes down into this ombre effect with the lighter. They did a really really good job with this color. It is not Stark at all. So, if you're looking for a fun like really high-end Salon type color, but you really don't like the dark roots, you don't like the high contrast. Sunshine could be a really good one for you. Okay, everyone thanks for watching

Nancy Sollee: Great color on you. I have a J R fully hand tied in another style. Actually I have 3 of the exact same one and all 3 purchased within 6 weeks. The first one I received fit me pretty well. The second one fit in the circumference, much like the first but had extra space in the crown. The third is really tight in circumference, oh, and all three are the same color.. So it seems all wigs can very in fit

Linda O'Donnell: It's a beautiful color! Looks fabulous on you.

Cheryl J: I believe Renaus color 26 is always a combination of warm blonde and platinum. I see this in the Salted Caramel. Very pretty Courtney!

LucyEatsPlants: Very pretty, natural -looking style and colour!

Robyn B: Oh my goodness - you are lovely this morning. And Courtney isn't bad either! Seriously though the lace front is so well done and the color is so lush. BUT I am a petite (20/12/11) so it wouldn't work for me. Thanks for sharing. I have started back to work part-time (fingers crossed) so I don't have a lot of time to watch anymore. I'm just glad I caught you this morning. Hope your day is a good one, Denise.

M o n i c a: It’s very pretty on you Denise.

CJ H: This reminds me of revised version of 12fs8. Thanks for the review.
