You know they are great. Everybody loves a good Bob and there's so many different types of Bobs that we need to show them. There'S Marsha on Tick Tock. So this is a brand new style by Ellen Villa Ellen Villa and hi Beverly. Okay, yes, Liz. I knew we were still on that. I was just giving people a chance to look at it and get all of our things. Okay, so Ellen Villa released this a couple weeks ago and we were going to do it last week, but we got those at study casino at the last minute, so yeah I wanted to do those because there were more oh before we got along. Can we just say thank you? Oh yes Ava. I don't know if Ava's watching She's So Sweet every now and then she just sends us little happy gifts. Well, this time she says, I just love them. I mean I do too they're random but they're so needed. I mean like one time she sent a glass foot file. I'Ve never had a glass foot file, it turned out to be the best thing yeah. Well, these are little like extendable back scratchers they're, just whatever well, and they said they're Grabbers too. So, like. I think it's great if you just scratch your head, everybody, you know everybody that works here gets one there's like eight of them, so those are amazing. Thank you. So Ava is a new. Would you call that a shattered Bob yeah? I would um before if you wonder what this is. This is our wig grip that we recommend it's by Milano. We only wear this with our wigs. This is for hygienic purposes, hi Joanna okay. The first thing I'm noticing is this: is your typical um Ellen Villa capsize? It feels a little bit snug. It is a lace front with a monofilament part, and then it's got the wefts in the back. So you get a little bit of stretch. I moved it over where you couldn't drop yours, so you were able to pick that up off the floor without knocking the table. There is no way I've been able to do that. Okay, this is a new color, the polar silver shaded. Oh, that's pretty just a 6101 and I've got everything tangled up yo, I'm sorry. How did you do that because I just did this is not multi-shaded, which has some lighter pieces. The lace is very nice, looks overly gold on um tick, tock. Okay, someone on on Facebook just said this looks like um Moonstone. It really does so. This is Ava by Ellen Villa. If you can't see the slides, this is the polar silver shaded. It has some short layers in it. So if you really wanted to get some texture up in here and put some, you know, wig wax or peace out cream, it's cute well and you could do more of an olive cross thing Holly's asking if any more come in the polar silver shaded. This is the first one that they came out with and the collection, so I don't know, but I can check on that Holly. You know, I don't have high hopes for it. You know how Ellenville is with their colors. It'S cute, it's very lightweight, true to the Ellen Villa styles, good stack in the back. I like this color. I love that color. I want something in that color this color, oh yeah, the nut, multi-shaded um. I don't know that it's relatively new, but it seems like when anima came out. They started making the nut multi-shaded and it's a really pretty color. It never really look like that. That has like that blonde right there to me. It looks like almost like a honey. The honey wheat by Noriko, right, which I don't know it's cute okay, now we're gon na switch comfortable cap. It is comfortable, it feels a little bit snug on me, but you know I don't care about that sort of thing, because if I like this style feels bigger than that, I haven't got to the suffering stage. Yet Stacy's saying she can't believe how different the Styles look on us. This happens in the store. All the time, friends will try on the same way, it's never going to look the same on two people. We even had twins in here one day we sure did and they look just a lot too, but the wigs look different on them. I felt so dumb because I kept thinking that you know they didn't tell us. They were twins, but I kept thinking man. They look so much alike and Valley I was like, are y'all sister yeah, we're twins that explains it all right on uh Tick, Tock they're, asking uh what about the Caps that we wear the Caps that we have on? We do not recommend wearing they're simply for hygienic purposes. We try these on with caps when they're, not our personal, wigs and it's if you come in the store - and you want to try anything on you've got to put that cap on, but we don't recommend wearing them. We just put them on when we're trying on wigs that don't belong to us they're, not overly shiny either. I mean there's a little bit more shine. I feel like on this color than there is on the Polar um that little dry shampoo will take care of that and, like Kim said earlier, this would cut a full bang, really easy yeah. So almost like a a meadow you know just but not really, good, hair density and it's that typical Ellenville fiber, that is the journey, is so small yeah. It'S very fine yeah. I like it all right, good, good, start, good, start! Okay! What'S next, I love this wig. I do too, and it's so overlooked. Uh Kim's, asking if Ava is heat, defiant or regular fiber, it's regular fiber. So again this is dance. Ellen Villa is the manufacturer. If you are watching it's a lace front with a monofilament part. Let'S see, I think this one feels more snug. I agree the Ava, but it's one of those Styles I wouldn't care about. I would suffer through with this one, because I think this is the cutest wig I mean I can get a make down well and every time I say why don't I have this wig? Why don't I have it love it? I love it. I love this curl pattern, this messy Wiggly and this candy blonde rooted color is so pretty it is. I love it. I love it so cute. What are you doing over a thing in this um? I wouldn't do a bang in it, I mean I've done bangs and worse. You know, I mean that were hard, not worse, but harder, but I think you can. I don't know, I think it would change the style uh Janet's asking if it's like Jones, it's shorter than Jones and Jones has a very defined bang cut into it, and it's a good bit longer. I think Jones also from a circuit, doesn't have as much curl. It'S more straight, this is this: has got really cute curls. You could actually scrunch a little bit more. If you wanted um, it looks so cute Lori on Tick. Tock is asking how much they are. You just hit decline these in this adorable, it's adorable and so lightweight. That'S one of the things I love about Ellen Villa everything is so lightweight. Yes, if you want a curly wig, I mean or wavy or whatever. But you don't want say you want fullness, but you don't want a lot of heaviness Allen. Village, that's your manufacturer, yeah, but look you could just like just foreign. I tell everybody that when they're buying a curly wig, I'm like you just need to scrunch it and encourage that curl she's crunchy, okay sunset: this is another Ellen Villa wig, and if you're watching and you're someone's asking what the website is again, it is shop. The lace is great. One of my favorites, sorry guys, my allergies, so sunset. This is from the perucci line, um. What is the top on this? Monopart, yes, mono part lace front: this is the sand multi-rooted, which is the 24 14 12.. So it's not it's singing Pam! It'S it's hard to describe his color. It'S not really gold, but it's not really good. It'S pretty well balanced yeah! I mean I think it would go for any any skin tone. I really do it's pretty this one's hanging very nice by Sunset and hot chili is uh. 1. 30. 33. So it's a blend of some pretty vibrant Reds, it's very vibrant, which is. It was really this would be so pretty with like an emerald. Green top is your Valentine's Day week. Yeah Valentine's, Valentines, yeah Lynn has sand. She says it's a neutral, color yeah, it is very neutral. I mean I think, hot chili I love Kim and red Kim. Will not wear Reds, I don't know why, but she won't get a red one. Well, my face is so naturally red I feel like it makes me. Look redder crazy Connie sent us a Rose. Thank you. Oh thank you Rose uh Connie. I don't know what that means, but thank you for the rose, so people uh Pam, you were asking. If this is cool or warm, I won't wear anything if I think it has gold in it. Um, I'm a little bit over the top on that, but I would wear this. I would definitely wear this and on Tick Tock, the color, that's showing it looks more gold than it really is because it is very, very well balanced. It kind of reminds me of 12 fs8 by Jon renau, which is a really good balance of some warmth, with some cool blonde running through it, it's a Priscilla Presley, color kind of is the red. I guess I'm so out of touch with everything. Yeah she's got that really vibrant red and yeah. Barbara says that that red with your eyes, I'm telling you I had I've got make a statement in this color and I've don't ever wear it because I always feel like I'm wearing the wrong color shirt. I didn't know you had that the yeah that new sangria yeah I'm gon na make a statement. Oh, I knew that never mind. I posted my picture in it. I forgot about that. Okay, next, this next wig is really close to the same style, but it's by Gabor. So I was switching over to Gabor if you're watching us on Instagram. This is a style that I think it's way overlooked. It is a great Style. It'S updated it's current. It doesn't have a whole lot of hair. I feel like Gabor in itself through the years has kind of gotten overlooked as a brand, because it's kind of like the little sister of hair, you wear, I mean of Raquel Welch, which you know which Gabor was around before Raquel Welch, but they're kind of that. Last collection, just kind of shot them back out there. I love love those wigs in the last collection yeah. I can't seem to quit wearing my own the room uh. Well. I also think that when Harry Ware has done a great job in upgrading Gabor, and so it's a better product than it used to be, there were years that I wouldn't even talk to him about carrying a board, because I, because I'm old-fashioned, showed up one day In the shop and had a style and went oh, no, that's so cute and the quality, the quality is very good. The fiber wears great and the Caps are really comfortable. Yes, they are really comfortable and a lace front. With a monofilament I mean I wish they would expand their color line just a little to include more of the the darker rooted colors, because they just do that. That soft shade is what they call it, so that one looks a little bit darker than this is the darkest word they make. This is this: one has a dark root and if you don't want um this color, then you can't have a darker yeah, but they don't have like a light, a light blonde with a root and that that kind of bugs me - because that's by far our most Popular requests and we sell more light blondes with a Dark Root right, so I just feel like if they would do that which they did in the last collection, the heat they're heat defiant. They correspond their colors to the Raquel Welch you get to find it. I wish they'd just do that same thing in the regular fiber on the flip side, if you're a natural blonde - and you don't have dark roots like that, but maybe you're lighter than what your natural color is - that soft shade works great for natural blondes. I just want to address a couple comments on Tick Tock, um Hannah's, saying it looks a bit shiny, um and I don't know what your name is. But tdg says it looks, brassy, um and then Sydney's coming to. We are under some really bright lights in our little studio room, so they're gon na look a lot shinier on us on camera than they really are in person. So in another way that we combat that that's just the way synthetic wigs are coming out of the box, just a little dry shampoo. You know that takes care of it and for whatever reason, on tick tock I look red the colors look more gold, and so we don't we don't do any filters. We don't do any filters. Absolutely not. So I'm sorry that it looks a little distorted on tick. Tock I love this gray. I know it's great. This sugared silver is so pretty and if you follow us on our thing, where you post videos and just pictures, we don't we don't we don't filter. What is that called when you like edit, something? I don't know you can tell I don't know the one that normally does it, but we don't. We don't change the pictures or anything we don't. What is that called modify? Yeah change filters, yeah, yeah, that we don't change it. We don't change our no matter. How bad we look yeah, it's just that it is what it is, because that way we want the wigs to look as much like real life as possible. So we don't like change our coloring Photoshop. We don't do it. I knew somebody knew what I was talking about all right, someone's asking. If you can kind of bang in this. Yes, you can um, it's cute with a bang. You'Ve done it, I've done it. It wouldn't be my first choice because you know this is longer and it's not it's meant to have that long. I mean so. If you want to bang, I mean I mean we'll, do it, but I'd rather find you something that has more face from yeah. We'Ll do it um Carla's asking if we've ever posted our head measurements. We have. I don't know where that resides right. Now it's in a video somewhere, but I am 23 and you're 22.. I told someone the other day. It was 23 and three quarters, and then I was like: oh no 22 and a half you're 22 and a half I'm 22 and three quarters. We did a YouTube video and if you go to our YouTube channel and just search our videos and put in measurement, you should be able to find it. We show you how to measure your head, and then we put our head measurements too, which really don't get too hung up on that we talk about that in the video we won't take time to get too hung up on it. But yes, there is a video on how to do that. All right, let me redo this. Are we even halfway through picked out all these wigs? Well, I had a list and somebody added to it one just one I don't know, I don't think one. I think. There'S more one, we added one wig all right: Lisa is asking on Tick: Tock um shop, Mimi's dallas.com is our website all right. This is epic. Epic is a lace front with a full mono top. So that means that you can switch the part from right to left or left or right. Whatever can I do, and this is a great classic Bob. I always think it has this real, pretty wave right here to it. For that reason, I wouldn't want you to switch the part, but you know you could, but I just think it hangs pretty away from the face, and it comes in this real, pretty salt and pepper. Not a lot of these wigs come in that salt and pepper. Ah Lisa shaved, her head for her sis to show support for her sister who has terminal cancer bless you kind of sweet, very sweet. Epic does have some shorter layers around the face, so you don't have to sweep it away. That'S my first movement in every wig. I put on is to see if I can get it out of my face because I'm not used to wearing a bang in my own hair and this one kind of a cowlick like my own hair yeah, that's charcoal is absolutely gorgeous. It'S pretty very pretty they're. Being awful lot out there, I wonder what they're up to you? Oh there's, Wendy, Amsterdam, Lynn's, asking: if Kim Myers has this one? I don't she does yeah. This does have a cow. This one does have a cow weight. Look at that wait! That'S why it's at my own hair, I mean it's just a little bit of a cold set thing. Some people might like that, if you don't like it, it's easily taken care of. If you have a hot airbrush or just putting it out, you know on a head or wearing it. You can kind of redirect those knots, um I'll show you really quick how to do that. If you get a wig and you want that, going a different direction and it's hand tied, you can just take little bitty, tiny sections and kind of twist and start pulling in the direction. You want. Don'T pull too hard, but just kind of start doing that and then you'll notice, it'll just kind of start redirecting it, and you can already see that's. You know starting to come down Joanna. This uh is asking on YouTube. If this is a heat friendly fiber, it is not as a traditional fiber and the fiber feels great yeah. We haven't shown any heat friendly ones, yet I think we will one or two, maybe one one yeah good color. This is a nice color. All right. Thanks Janet, he likes the sugar charcoal. Okay, now oh yeah, I love anytime. Noriko comes out with something I love it because y'all know. I love my Elven. So this is a machine made cap. So it's going to have permatease it's your typical Noriko cap. That does run on The Snug side and you don't it doesn't have as much stretch, and this is spring honey R, which is they've made the colors. You can see. That'S not even coming down far enough on me. They'Ve made spring honey, it's spring honey for years, but they just a couple years ago started putting a root in it and it just changed everything. It'S just beautiful. You know - and this is a good example of head head shapes and sizes, even though I'm a little bit larger circumference on Kim. You know when she says it's not coming down on hers. This one actually comes down on me. So that's why we're saying don't get too hung up on head sizes, because the shape of your head may be totally different, and so I'm obviously bigger in one area than Kim and smaller than another. So you know just you got ta go by just feel. I got all these brains up here. She'S definitely got more brains than me. Y'All know that that is not true cute. This is so cute, it is cute and the neckline is great. This is just I don't know which one just so and you can just tuck it and just he's so fun. I just love it Holly's asking if she tried it on in the new blonde. How often should you wash wigs A good rule of thumb is if you wear it every day and I'm talking about eight hours a day, you're gon na wash it every two to three weeks and we did a q a position. I think so too, that's fun. We love that one of the few wigs that I have a really short forehead, I'm literally like two and a quarter or two and a half that I I can wear. It would take a little texturizing. But if you have a short forehead and you have a problem, finding a wig with bangs um, simply because you have a short forehead and you can't cut it. This is one of the ones that could be done. This Alva, the one I wore before but cute cute JoJo on Tick Tock, is asking if we carry Toppers she's very interested in that we do not carry Toppers everything we carry is a full synthetic wig. The neat section anyway. Go ahead, I'm sorry the other meat anyway she's playing her 50s 60s and her son who was grown. It was probably 20., they were walking in front of me and they both had tails like this long. Like braided, I had to be her son because unless she was like really robbing the cradle, but I was like yo it is, it is the 21st century. Okay, okay, uh just went out of tail with ribbons uh Patrick Linda is asking: is it okay to use the curling brush on a wig with product and or does it have to be just washed better to be just washed, because if you have any hairspray wig Wax peace out cream any kind of styling product that's going to have hold to it. The heat is going to gum it up and you're really going to just work harder than you need to. So if you're going to do any kind of restyling with heat with a hot airbrush, when I say heat you especially you, don't you don't use the curling iron, don't use a flat iron. Don'T use anything like that. I'M talking about the heat, the hot airbrush! That'S plastic um, just it's better to do it, while it's freshly washed and then use a little bit of the restore leave-in conditioner Wendy's, noticing that these have more a lot more hair than the Ellen Villa they do. These are machine made caps, so you've got permatease. So for people that, like that lift and they like bigger, hair, more volume - these are perfect for those people. If you don't like that, then you're not going to want to get anything like this and I am texting yeah. I love this hair. I do and this ice mocha color is so pretty it's a dark um. I just wouldn't need your measurement from your hairline down to. We try to say right at the middle of your eye, like the bridge of your nose so put that there and we do err on the side of caution. Can you use a regular straightening, slash, curling iron, first of all, you're not supposed to brush the heat defiant, wigs and if you did that you know some people do it and they don't realize it or they do it. They don't think it's going to be that big of a deal it's kind of like curling ribbon. So when you put stress on it, it tends to curl up and froze up, but when that happens and people bring them to us to refurbish, we do use a flat iron with some thermal spray and we don't go over 280 degrees. Mm-Hmm right - and I always say it's like pantyhose: if you start to notice that that frizz or it starts to get tangly address it right, then don't let it get so bad that it's just you know, don't don't let it it's like a run. If you don't stop it right, then it's gon na ruin your whole life. I had one the other day and it just started so I immediately started fixing it all right. What'S going on over here, the wig we have on is Harlow. I have on cognac, which is a beautiful, warm color with some pretty highlights and Misty has on rooted Malibu. This has a pretty good amount of fullness um. If you, though, Tony Beverly, they have such great fibers yeah, they do their fiber is it's probably one of my favorite companies and they all cap is so stretchy. I can't say enough good things about their fibers and they make a ton of colors yeah. They they sure do I mean most of their wigs, come in over 40 colors each. It is perfect out of the box almost every time it. For me, it's a throw and go wig. I can throw this on. It looks good every time I don't have to do anything to it. The way it sweeps over it stays out of my face. It'S got a super cute stack in the back, the colors we were wearing, and this is my favorite brunette by then. By far it is the rl410ss, the shadow shade ice Java, and you want to tell them what you're wearing I'm wearing the 1422 SS, which is the Shaded wheat, which has some really nice warmth to it. It'S got a Dark Root. I love how they put the lighter pieces in the front on the lace just makes it look really nice this this wig can be as full as you want it to be, or as Sleek as you want to be. I mean I, I love that fullness. I love it, I do too in the messy I mean you can yeah, you can actually wear this smooth or you can put a lot of texture into it. That'S the good thing about heat defiant is that you can do a little bit more with it. I love her in dark colors, but I love this even on this one. That'S so dark they put the it's got some Lo, some highlights to it and they made the knots lighter. But you know you just it's that way with everything right now. So if you really love something it's worth waiting for, so just make sure you're on the back order list. So when you open a hot oven, even if it's 350 375 that burst of heat, a heat defiant, wig you're only going to want to take you're really not going to want to go over 300., we try to keep it at 280 and I think the manufacturer On their tag, says: 320, but we don't push it that high, so yeah.
