An Honest Jessie'S Wig Reviews | Blonde 613 Lace Front Wig Unboxing| Lauren Neate

Hi everyone, so today's video is going to be a wig review and the wig that I have today is from Jessie's wigs. So they've kindly sent me this wig for a YouTube review and I'm really excited to show you guys the wig on and obviously unbox everything with you today. So when you get the wig, it comes in this box here and unfortunately, as always, FedEx do tend to wreck the boxes, but luckily nothing inside was damaged at all. Everything is fine. You get the wig inside plastic here. I also got a little makeup sponge, which is always handy to have. I got two wig caps, a pair of false eyelashes, which look really really nice and also a wig band which I'm guessing you can either wear underneath, there's like extra grip or, if you wanted to you, could use it as a way of gluing down the wig And then keeping it in place, which I've seen quite a lot of people do whilst they're doing their makeup just to make sure that the wig lays flat. So just before I pop this wig on, I am going to run through this facts from the website. For this wig, just in case, you wanted to find it yourselves, obviously just so you know what to expect so on the website. This wig is called ombre ash blonde wavy human hair wig highlights 613 body wave lace, front wig, and I will pop up a photo on the screen now of what this wig looks like on the website. So the wig that I have is 24 inches long and it is a 4x4 180 density, so that basically means you've got a small section of lace in the front, but the sides and everything else will just kind of be trapped. I will also show you the Cap Construction inside for this wig, so this is just a little quick video to show you guys the cap construction of this wig. As you can see, you get three Combs here, one on each ear and one in the back and you've also got a comb at the nape of the neck. You'Ve got this elastic band for security and also the adjustable straps. So, even though this is kind of an average sized cap, I will say with the strap here it does make it petite to my head: there's no ear tabs on this wig. So that is something to be mindful of it's just tracks on the side and then obviously you get this lace front here, but this section here is big enough that you could easily shift the part in from a middle part or like a side part. So it's also really handy that it goes quite far back. So when it's on your head, all you're going to see then is just the scalp on the top, so this wig would be 399 dollars in the lens that I have. However, they have got quite a lot of coupon codes that I can see on the website, so that will save you quite a bit of money. Um, there's one here for 50 off, which obviously would bring it down to 340 dollars, which is extremely good price. For a human hair, wig of that lens, okay, so this is the wig just fresh out of the box and, as you can tell, the curls in this wig are really like bouncy curls, which means that when I try this on, it's going to look a lot Shorter than when you've like straightened it out or done like a looser curl, so I can already tell this: is gon na look so pretty and curly when I try it on it will give you a quick close-up of the knots as well. So, as I said, the front of this wig is lace front. So, as you can see, underneath the the lace is like transparent as well. I'Ve got red nails, so that's probably not helping. So this is the wig literally fresh out of the box and, as I said, the curls in it are so bouncy that it's making it look a lot shorter, whereas if you were to stretch these out, you can see like this is a long wig. I love how it just Springs back, so I am going to try and style this a little bit and straighten it out, because I personally wouldn't wear curls that were like this tight, although I do think it looks pretty pricey and like if you're gon na try And do like do you know what type of style I'm talking about? If I like do that, I don't know, but I obviously don't tend to wear hair like that, so I'm gon na try and straighten it out a little bit. But I will say this: wig is Curly. So if you're after a more straight wig, perhaps um look on the website for something that's not as like killed. I absolutely love the color, though this is a really nice like icy blonde um and especially with the root as well. I think it does look really really natural, so I'm just gon na quickly brush this um and I know it's gon na go like poof, so um I'm gon na brush it and then I will straighten it with you guys. So you can see it a little bit more styled and then, after that, I'm gon na cut the lace and make it look more natural, but I actually really really like the color so far at the moment, I'm wearing dark wigs. So it's quite nice to see a little bit of a change, so I just quickly brushed through the curls and, as you can see, it's already made a massive difference to how long this looks and I am going to run through it with the straighteners now and I'M just going to put it on a low heat, even though this is human hair. I just find at the moment that it's better just to use a lower heat on wigs because they last so much longer, if you're, more careful, obviously looking after them, and you don't want to be damaging wigs that are stupidly expensive. Even though this wig is actually very affordable for the current market of wigs, the hair feels so soft and for blonde hair as well. It'S actually very, very shiny, um not like in a fake way, but as you can see on the roots there, it just looks like healthy blonde hair, not fried. I will say it is shedding a little bit um, nothing like too extreme, but I have noticed when I'm brushing it. It is shedding a tiny bit okay. So I'm back and I've roughly straightened this wig. As you can tell, it is still a little bit curly underneath, but I feel like you just need to wash this wig to be able to get it to be like poker straight, but I just wanted to show you guys the length of it. Whilst it was straight because obviously it's completely different to when it's in those tight curls, if I just move back a little bit so yeah, it's actually a really really long wig and I'm really impressed actually with how natural the hairline looks. So you do tend to find it with blonde wigs or lighter brown wigs. It'S a lot easier to hide the knots because they're all so lighter. So if you have a lighter scalp, then um it will sort of blend in with your like skin tones. So I'm just going to cut this little bit of lace off here in the front and, as I said, it's not a like side to side lace. So in the bits by here you have got tracks. So if you were hoping to do like an updo or anything, you would have to pull hair down from the sides, because it's not lace all the way around the perimeter. It'S just this section here, so I'm just going to quickly cut that off. So that is the wig um completely unboxed. I think I would actually maybe move it a little bit more forward. It'S kind of throwing me off because I usually wear my part in on the other side. So um, like I said, if I wash this wig and like redo it, I would move my parting over as well, but I'm kind of liking, the blonde hair um. I will say it's like a very light blonde. Obviously, as you can see, the thing that I probably will do is sniff a little bit off the ends, because, obviously, with blonde hair, it's more processed, so it's gon na be a little bit thinner on the end as this wig is literally like so long, I Would just snip off the ends just to keep it like an even length all across the back of the hair but yeah I'm actually kind of liking? It it's a bit of a shock to my system, because I'm not used to seeing my hair like so light. Definitely think, maybe for like summer or something this wig could be like a really good option and for the price for human hair is ridiculously cheap in comparison to most of the wigs that are out there right now, I feel, like my eyebrows, are a little bit Too, dark for this, it's they're, probably like I'm, used to doing them for dark hair as per usual, but yeah I'm actually quite excited to wash and style this wig properly um. I would do it in this video, but it would just take so long because it's such long hair so to dry it and everything. But when I do that, I will definitely show you guys the wig again think that is pretty much it for this video.
