Innovative or useless hair accessories., Let's test them out., Let's start with the first one., I'm very excited about this one. Just not excited about the quality of this product.. So this right here they call this. The Deft, Bun Hair Maker. Sounds very intriguing, but I saw this on Instagram and their shop was from a different part of the world.. So we went to Amazon and saw if we could find this. And sure and behold we found it, But the quality is very, very, very poor.. We paid $ 16.99 so $ 16.99 for a pack of six of these., But we're gon na see if we can make this look cute because in the video on Instagram it looked very, very, very cute. Step. One put all of my hair through this hole. Right. Here. So step two, I'm gon na do a full 360 twist and then drag it down the end of my ponytail, leaving like three to four inches out. Ooh ( Milana, chuckles ). This is a workout.. How many inches do I have left [ Jackie ], Like seven., (, Milana, laughs )? I can't go further. (, grunts ), My arms. Don'T bend that way. [ Andrey ]. Can you make it back up now? Oh my gosh. [ Andrey ]. Did she do it all by herself? No, there was somebody else doing it for her. Okay. [, Jackie ] Nice.. So all she does is she kind of? Brings these two crisscrosses it a couple of times and that's it. It'S secured., Okay, that kind of worked actually., Hmm. Okay. For a first try. It was a little hard to go all the way, back'cause, I'm not as flexible anymore, but I'm actually impressed with the first try. It's kind of cute.. Let'S have Andrey, try it., Yes, and we have the smaller one in the pack., It's shorter than the yellow, one. [, Andrey ] And then ... Before you do anything. Do the full one twist. Kay. Let me guide you with this. Okay. There we go. Once. And now pull it down as much as you can. Without all the hair falling through and now start twisting back up. Underneath. There, you go. Make sure all the hair is there.. [, Andrey ], Yeah and now I feel like this - is where ... Now she does it like this. The tricky part. [ Andrey ], Just once Once and then twice. And it all goes like crooked. Yeah, see that's what I mean by it. Doesn'T hold. [ Andrey ] Yeah, it doesn't hold., But it's kind of there. [ Andrey ] Kind of there.. I think this is a cool idea, but the execution it's not phenomenal, because it's just it's like hanging on just like that. You see All right. So this one I'm going to give it like a solid 5 out of 10.. It would be better if the quality was much better.. I feel like I'm giving It way too many stars., It's a 3 out of 10, but the concept is really cool.. We just need a better accessory to accomplish this concept and bring it to life. There. We go. Let'S move on to the next one. This next one is a drawstring chiffon scrunchie.. This is what we look like.. It'S a hair scrunchie that uses a drawstring.. I'Ve never seen that before. Seems excessive, obviously by the size, but also looks really cool and really cute., And it sounds like it's not gon na be as rough on your hair., I don't know.. So what is this for? This scrunchie allows you to fully adjust the hold on your hair with the gold drawstring fastener.. That'S the whole innovative part of it. And it's 14 USD. So I'm assuming, if you have very thick hair, it might be great. Or if you have very thin hair. Everyone can use this., It's an all for one type of a product., So let's see. They only show it on like low ponytails.. So, let's see what this looks, like., I'm just going to grab all the hair and then just take this. Is the drawstring in the front Or is it in the back? It'S in the front. Okay. [ Andrey ] How's. It feel It feels like. I have nothing in my hair., I feel like it's holding it, but it's not tight.. So if you want like a super tight ponytail, this is not it, but it was kind of cool just to use a drawstring and that's it.. It'S kind of fun. I guess.. It'S a cool little accessory., [ Andrey ]. Don'T do it like that! Just pull it out. See how hard it is. ( Andrey laughs, )! It'S not it's very easy.! Maybe if you have very very thick hair, maybe very curly thick hair - and you don't want to put like pressure on your head with the ponytail. You know Yeah. This is definitely not for high ponytails. [ Andrey ]. That was it right. There. There. It is. That describes how strong it is. Yeah. I think it's literally purely accessory., Like you, use a clear elastic hair elastic to really tighten it and just put this on top. You know, Like that's, that's okay., That's fine.! You want to try this [ Jackie, ] Sure., See if it's better on you. Where's the thing. Oh, it's right, there. Yep.! You have it towards the bottom. Now side, yeah., Wait., [, Milana, ] Yeah. You have to let the ponytail go to do that. That doesn't feel natural., [ Milana, ] No. ( giggles, ) Wow. It doesn't go very tight., [ Milana, ] Nope., That's it.! That'S it ( Milana, giggles ), It's not bad, but there's no hold., Ugh., (, Milana, laughs ) That looks awful. And then you move slightly and it's done. There. It is. It's better, just to stay down: here. [, Milana, ] Yeah! That'S why I think they only show the low ponytail. It's just decoration. [ Milana, ] Yeah. It really is. This right here. I think it's like we said purely decoration.. It'S cool.! I like the idea of it, but ... Yeah no. ( Milana, laughs, ) Next.. I give it 2 out of 10., It's cute., It just didn't do much., But the quality is much better than the first one's. Quality is much better and it feels much better., But yeah. This next one we're all very excited for.. This is called the bird's nest. Hair clip ponytail hairpin, curling iron, bun maker, hairstyling tool, claw hair clips for women, girls, hair accessory Three colors. ( laughs, ), [, Andrey ]. What Yeah there it is.. So you get three of these.. So this is what it looks: like. It's an expandable, hair accessory.. So this is what we start with. And then you do this., it's expandable. Bam. There it is. And then it contracts. It costs $ 7.99 for a pack of three.. Let'S just try this out. Ooh., Oh no., Oh no.. Okay, now just close it. Ooh, it's like giving a massage to my scalp. ( Milana, laughs, ), Wait that actually kind of worked.. It'S not super ... Yeah. It'S not holding.. It'S wanting to expand as I move my head around., But ... No. (, laughs, ). I'M trying to come up with like something positive to say about this, but if it doesn't work, ... Defeats everything., Let's try a bun.'Cause, maybe it's gon na be better with the bun'cause. It has the teeth. It's kind of hard to get the hair in the hole because there are so many little teeth inside not little but they're. Just there's a lot of them.. So let's do the bun first. Just do a low, bun., Ooh kind of hurt.. I feel like that's even worse. [ Andrey ]. It looks okay at first.. So how long will that last? That'S the thing like it doesn't hold on to anything.. I feel like the more you use it, the more you open it up, the less constrictive it becomes over time right, But that's actually not bad.. Look at that. [ Andrey ]. I mean it was pretty quick. Yeah. [ Andrey ], But will it hold throughout the day? I mean it's definitely not as secure as a hair elastic.. I feel like it might last like 30 minutes, if you're not doing much. And then it's just gon na be slowly opening up as the day goes on.'Cause you can see. I moved my hair or head and it's opening up. [ Andrey ]. Wait. Let me see. You want to play with it: Yeah. Don't do it so hard. (, Andrey laughs, ), Okay, that's enough., We're done., [ Andrey ], I feel like. We should just call this video useless., Useless, hair, accessories., So far. So far yeah. They are very all useless. They're not doing much like at the very end. And the result either doesn't hold in your hair. It'S just going to fall out. The concepts are really fun and innovative, but yeah. That'S where it ends.. So this next one it's kind of like a similar take on the first one, but slightly different.. So what makes this one different? Obviously you can see it's a lot smaller, but then what makes the bow are literally, these ribbons right, here., It's not metal.. It doesn't have metal going through the ribbon., It only has metal going through the foam and I'm pretty sure the hair will hold better with this foam ,'cause a lot of like the bun makers. They have the foam. So that way you can put like bobby pins or hairpins through it to hold, but we'll see.. I'M kind of I have higher hopes for this right here. So let's put this to the test and we're going to try to create the bun or the chignon towards the bottom, like with the bow, instead of towards the top like we did with the first one and let's see how we can do that. How we can Do this. So the first step again take the ponytail through this slit right, here., Honey. I think I might need your help. [ Andrey ] Okay.. Tell me when to stop before the hair falls: out. [, Jackie, ], Stop., Okay! So we're going to start rolling it up, ... Towards ..., my head. Kay. Make sure it's nice and tight., and then I'm going to take the ends and bring them down towards each other and then take the ribbon and tie it off into a bow.. What is happening here, [ Andrey ], Do you know how to make a bow or not? No, I can't. [ Jackie ]. That sounds like some high quality, ribbon., ( Milana, laughs ). It'S very noisy. Did that work. Yeah., One side is longer than the other. [, Jackie ] Yep., That's annoying (, Laughs, ), Okay., Nope., All right, so yeah. It'S definitely a lot lower than I anticipated I'm trying to manipulate it'cause of that wire inside., And I feel like this one. You can manipulate a lot more than the first one. And because of that foam inside, it's really kind of adding a little more volume to your hairstyle, which I like.. But this ribbon is such poor quality that you can't really even tie. It. One is shorter than the other, so it looks pretty bad, but hey we got something out of it and you don't need any other hair accessories or hair tools to create this.. That'S pretty nice., I like that.. I like this one, a lot more than the first one.. This one actually looks pretty cute. This next one is very fascinating.. This right here is a set of four bun hair braiding tool. Magic hair sticks, holder., (, Milana, laughs, ), Magic, hair sticks. I like that. What this is it's two silicone hair accessories. And they have there's actually a lot of flex to them, but they are silicone and they have these little snaps. There. It is.. But what makes this interesting? It has a slit on the inside, and this is where your hair is going to go in and that's how it's supposed to hold your hair with this hairstyle or whatever you're trying to do.. That'S why you can use it on. So many different hair styles, like a hair, bun braiding little twists little rolls., It's supposed to do that for you., But I think that's why they provided four ,'cause they're, so tiny.. So let's try it out., Let's create two space buns.. So it's essentially how we've been using these other ones., You put your hair through and then you roll it and then you clip it and that's how it's supposed to be.. So, let's just go for it. All right. We'Re gon na pick up the hair to the top, the desired height., So they're saying to start at the very end of the hair or basically to the end where none of the hair is gon na fall out and then I'm going to twist it up.. So you do still have to twist. [ Andrey ], So is this? Is a bun maker? Also Yeah. [ Andrey ] Looks too small. Yeah. You would never be able to make a full bun. [ Andrey ]. It might be for like really short hair maybe. And then you secure it. [ Andrey ] That looks bad. [, Jackie ]. Oh my ... [ Andrey ] Yeah. That is completely useless.. What is happening here? Let'S try to create like one top knot., Let's see if we can actually do that. No. This is this is completely useless.. The hair just keeps falling out'cause, there's nothing gripping the hair whatsoever. Like it's just straight up silicone and there's nothing gripping the hair.. So nothing is holding for you to roll it., Even if you're holding it. It just falls out of other places. And it's way too small. Like this is how small it gets and it's not super-. Oh Just hit myself. It's not stretchy by any means., It's flexible, but it's not stretchy.. So this is a complete fail. Like this does not replace a hair tie., It's innovative, but that's where it ends. Like the actual concept, everything about it. It doesn't work because it's not gripping anything., It's not stretchy and ... Wow., Jackie, actually accomplished something.. You want to show them [, Jackie, ], Yeah., That's a look., Don't walk too fast. ( Milana, laughs, ), Lower., Lower ( Milana, giggling ). Oh my gosh.! This is ..., This is it.. This is it. Yeah.. This is what I was going. For. [ Milana, ] Good job. You accomplished, it. Wow. Looks good.. I feel beautiful. [ Milana, ], You do. You are beautiful. Thank you.. I think this is the most useless one., At least the other ones. We were able to get something out of it.. It'S just you know low quality or whatever., But this right here is completely useless.. Someone said: save your dollars. Save your coins.. Did I even say the price for this? We paid $ 6.98 for this product for four of them., So there you have it.. There is a lot of hair tools, hair accessories that are completely useless.. So, like one person, one wise person said ,'' Save your dollars.'' ( Milana, laughs ), All right. I hope you guys had fun with me.. We'Ll see you in the next one very soon., Bye. ( Blows kiss )

Mandi Wolfe: I've had most of these since the 80's. The first one (yellow), you're supposed to put your hair in a ponytail first and then add the wire fabric to the ponytail to roll it and secure. Same with the expandable grid/clamp. I still have mine all these years later and they still work perfectly. ♡

Peach 0108: I love how Andre has become a beauty expert over the years lol

Theophia: They had that first tool in the 90’s but it was made of velvet material and had a slightly different shape. Almost pear shaped at the ends with the middle being thinner. It was far better quality back then. It worked well with my thick curly hair when I was a child. I seam to recall you started much lower in the hair, almost at the end, then you would start to twist.

Spiritual Goddess: I've used fuzzy pipe cleaners as bun tools for my hair. Simply fold the pipe cleaner in half, twist the ends, and you have your basic bun making tool where you slide your hair in the middle. It doesn't always work, but when it does, it is really cute.

susannashuster: I love how you are such a good sport about trying these “unusual” products. I think you save your viewers so much money!

Hanna K: The wire ones are actually amazing, the ones you got are terrible quality. I had the first one in elementary school, but it was made of foam. It was literally the only way I could make a bun out of my hair without mom's help. I still miss it tho

Jenny G.: For the first one, I think either using a hair band in a ponytail to help hold up the gathered hair or maybe using bobby pins for keeping the bun in place could work. Also, perhaps the tightness or doing a reverse direction of twisting at the end might help. As for the second one, I'd definitely use a hairband and use the extra string to tie it on top of the first layer of hairband. Thank you for sharing this review!

Kelsie Wilson: The expandable one is for a bun... it goes over the bun with an elastic... its more of a decoration... I absolutely love every video you do... love your gorgeous family and can't wait for the new addition to get here...

Shelley Dawson: The first one works. I bought these. My heart is only about an inch or so shorter. I didn’t do the 360 degree initial flip. I just pulled it down (I had my pony tail higher) and then rolled my hair round it and twisted. It holds very well and is very comfortable. I agree with the fabrics. If someone did this with really good quality fabric it’d be great.

K P: #1: if you get a real good quality one of these they’re actually a really great product! I’ve have several over the years and loved them even with my kinky curly thick hair!

Mir Mir: The first one would have been AMAZING for my hair when it was knee length, that is of course if it came in a much longer length. The second one makes sense because you keep the scrunched look much better than typical scrunches once they’re wound around your ponytail tight enough to not slip off, even with a hair tie to hold the pony tail tight. The third I always thought would be pretty useless when I’ve seen them in stores. The fourth one I almost bought for my 6 year old before she decided she wanted her hair cut off for her 6th birthday. The fifth would likely be good for little girls if you ONLY pull it down about halfway before rolling into a bun instead of pulling it all the way to the end like the instructions said.

heart.: The first one is amazing if it's comfy enough to sleep in. I do a similar thing just using a sock to wrap my hair on for the night. My hair is super fine and always tangles up and falls in all kinds of weird ways when i leave it open for the night and I don't like the wave patterns braids leave. With wrapping it up it's all smooth and falls well the next day PLUS you get a nice soft curl.

Andrea Leon: These are all basically variations of the Hairagami...still have mine from the early 2000s. Nothing can beat it so far!

Ali Chaikoski: Can we just pause for a minute- Jackie is absolutely stunning!

Carrie P: I had one of the bun makers in the 1990s. Was blue velvet to match school uniform wore it so much as we had to tie our hair up. Was a bit more sturdy.

Stiainin Beglan: #3 has been in use for a long time. I remember seeing them as a kid. Mostly they're used for buns, but you don't punch the bun all the way through the hole. I think the one you tried is a bit different design, but the concept is the same.

d.8709: for the circular claw thingies, they're great on top of an elastic to give volume to a high ponytail!!

Anika Bitonto: The expandable accessory still works very well after years and gives my hair hold. It wasn't shown very well in the video here.

Sillybanana_na: My daughter had one of those opening and contracting things when she had layered hair and had a bun for dance would put it over it instead on loads of grips for all the little sticky out buts and it looked really cute and held well. I don’t think you use it alone

Jade Prescott: SOME of these I could see working in more naturally textured hair, like curl patterns in the 3 and 4 range. Like the drawstring scrunchy, I'd use that to hold my hair back but not crush it. I have 2c waves to 3c curls (various parts of the head).

Jessi Lim: i love the 1st one , i use it to quickly hold my hair up and looks cute. I do love a lower bun coz it puts less pressure on my scalp

Emily_ Gross: That plastic expander one, I used to have some years ago. I had a smaller one that was pretty good if you have a high little ballerina bun in your hair and you put it over that. That's pretty much what these are for and what they work best for.

Mary Degraffenreed: The expandable one is something i swear by! I put my bun in with an elastic then contain it with the expandable .

Alyssa Pruneau: Thank you. I feel much better about myself after watching this. All this time I thought it was just me who couldn't get these hair accessories to work!

Holdi-locks Hair Buns: Exactly why I designed my product that actually works! I went thru all of that trying to do my hair and so many others. Thank goodness I learned how to do CADCAM so I got mine just the way it needed to be.

Kristie Lent: Great video and I am so glad you reviewed that first cloth bun maker bc I just got it in and was just as disappointed! Oh and on the expandable bird's nest holder, I have a tip! I hot some over the summer and love them! They're usually much more comfy than regular elastics and are pretty secure especially if you give it a little twist as you are closing it. That way it closes fully. I have noticed you have to be careful not to stretch it out too far otherwise it can make one of the little hinges pop off. Pretty easy to fix by just popping it back on.

solcitagirl: The last one works really good, of you put the hair together in a ponytail with an elastic around it. Then you use that item to create little buns. With the clip to close it holds perfectly.

Jes Brown: For the claw one, if you put it over the bun completely it works great! My favourite hair accessory.

Carrie M: Omg!! The expandable one is almost exactly like one my mother had from the 1950s but hers was made of metal. I remember playing with it as a small child!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Gea Visser: I had this one in the 90's and it was so easy to use. I worked at the office and this helped my hair looking more neat. It was a lot smaller and the fabric was soft. Excellent idea!

rosettasilvermist: None of these are innovative they're all from late 80's early 90's and unfortunately most of them are bing used wrong. Most need ponytails or buns first as that's what they're designed for. I'd actually really like to see this redone using them correctly

Lorena Vasconcellos: The expandable one is great for bun in curly hair!

Valery Murdock: I just got those same first ones yesterday! Mine are a six pack of floral prints. I was disappointed by the quality too but as long as I start with a ponytail they do make nice smooth buns with a cute sort of "bow" once you twist it. ☺️

Karen Stiltner: I have all of these except the last one. I wish I had seen this video before spending money on these. She's absolutely right about these hair accessories!

warp drive: I have the expandable bird nest ones and love them. Of course I have thick, wavy/curly hair. Thing stays in right where I put it, high or low pony tail.

June Thiel: You are pure entertainment! Thanks for the laughs so early on a Monday morning! (Our country is 6 hours ahead of EST) I am subscribing because I enjoy your presentation and who knows, there might sometimes be a useful item to consider!

Clarisse Potriquet: The first one you show, if a good quality, is just amazing. I had it as a teen, with very long hair. I never made your first twist, you can start with a pony tail if needed. If you do on damp hair at night and sleep with it, hair is curly the next day!

Silly Jellyfish: the draw string can be a great thing for people with sensitive scalp or for people with disabilities that don't allow them for keeping their hands up for a long time. they can just slip it on and pull and there they go. as a bonus, it can be undone just as easily, which is a great improvement from some scrunchies that you have to untwist first otherwise they don't go down at all. even my hands hurt from those sometimes. but as for the rest - naaaah. useless as you said. i will just keep my hairsticks for buns, thank you very much

Ma-ma-ma Mary: My mom used to have a gadget like that 1st one (as well as the one that has the ribbons - but without the ribbon). I used to help her with it every day. Even back then, it was made way better than what you bought. It was a velvety material and lasted years.

ddmprecisi: Thank you so much for showing us what junk is out there lol ❤️

EveHahn: Omg, nothing here is literally innovative) most of this things we had in Ukraine like 20 years ago, in good quality and it worked) nostalgic) thanks for a good video))

Sara Foster: Please do an updated hair care video! Your hair looks so good!

-Nellie -m: I’m wondering if that pink scrunchy would work better if you tied it off once in place to hold your hair and not just pull it closed, it’s only natural for the thing to come out if it’s not tied, those other things that you were putting your hair through have been around for years and work better if your hair is already in a ponytail and then roll it up into a bun. I enjoy watching your hair tutorials and trying different hair tools rather than your makeup videos. Jackie has beautiful hair and it’s always lovely to see her on your channel. Cheers from Queensland Australia

Sylvia L.: ❣ even with short hair it makes a lot of fun to watch your tutorials

Amy Detwiler: I really wished that last one worked! I like the donut bun hair accessories. They're like a sponge with snaps on the ends.

Lady Lori - BeautyOver50: Your hair is gorgeous!! ♥️ My thick curly hair would never work with these, I’ve wasted so much money on so many of these & they don’t work!! The ADS are lies, especially the Pony-O!! But Thank you for putting them to the test…

E: Her hair is so beautiful! I wish I had hair like that...

Shelley2655: They were all meh, I wouldn't buy any of them except for the 3rd one.I bought those back in the 80's for my daughter when she was in high school and she made some really good hairstyles. Thanks for sharing, I love your hair tutorials!!!

Anna2 Belle7: The drawstring scrunchie would be really useful for brushing teeth or eating with curls - to just move your hair from your face, but not damage the curls.

Kathy Doran: That was fun to watch! I have really long hair and it's impossible to do anything with, everything you did I know never even bother LOL❣

CoyoteWildFlower: Thanks for this and thanks for all the comments, none of these will work on my fine slick hair. Guess I'll stick with the one I bought in the 90s nicer than the first one.

crystal dubson: The chiffon one could be ok for things like washing your face or doing skincare maybe.

Laboni Hira: I think you're meant to tie the drawstrings to make sure it is tight. But I wish this product worked along with an elastic, that would be really great

☺smylyface☺: I bought the first one too and I think it would be much better if they used thicker wire. The flimsy wire just doesn't hold the hair very well. Cute idea... probably could make one much higher quality.

Joy Kinser: So what I got out of this is that almost all of these are distant second place to a hair elastic. Hair elastics cost about $1 for like 20 so for 6-17 times the price of a rubber band you can get a really bad substitute.

Esther Geraldine: Milabu you need to do a ponytail first then put it in the bun gadgets hole It helps and support the hair even better

Sarah Lena: “It’s innovative.. I guess.” Innovations only count if they work!

ROSA SALAZAR: This was a fun video to watch, now I know not to purchase any of these lol. Thanks!

Monica: I used to curl my hair EVERY single night for 8th & 9th grade with the first one she used. They gave me beautiful curls in less than an hour but my hair is so straight I would sleep with them each night & each morning I had beautiful voluminous curls in the morning :) They weren’t uncomfortable to sleep on in felt like sleeping with a bun (x Mine are longer, they’re wired & have more fabric. I bought them at a swap meet in LA for $5 or $6? Can’t find them anymore but still have 4 of them in great condition :)

Lora Macks: The pink scrunchi is meant to be wrapped around like a typical hair tie. The draw string of to make it bigger or smaller depending on how many times you want to wrap it around

nefarious: I reckon the first one is getting somewhere! Maybe if it had soft ties to do up more tightly, it would be more effective at holding the hair

Deborah A: I was looking at the bun holder nest things the other day and wondered if it worked.

Alex C: Love this! More please!

melissa bindert: The expressions you make while sampling this innovation are absolutely hilarious

Linda Fry: That 1st one...use it when your hair is damp. Let your hair dry (sleep in it)...it makes great beachy waves.

Charlotte Crook: I’ve had one of the expanding bun claw for about 20 years

Barbara Allen: I bought quit a few like the first one at craft fairs and used them as for both buns and to curl my hair.

Amanda A: Oh I have wasted so much money on hair accessories and they NEVER work on my fine hair! . TFS

Moxie Tovani: I feel like these would be 100 times more difficult with any hair type that wasn't straight.

D Heredia: I did like the look of the blue bun maker with ribbon.

BrazingtonBlurb: The first one came out in the 90s. Had cloth ones as a kid in all kinds of colors and patterns!

Alkmini’s mini sews: I feel like all of them would have worked more or less fine with an elastic as the first step. I think they were kind of misrepresented!

Teresa D: The first one and the black and blue one, if you leave it in for a while it curls your hair without heat, I put a bun maker in my hair at night and wake up to curly hair Try it like that

Mia Ironstone: The scrunchie looks big enough that it could also be used as a head band while doing makeup or something

Jessicae Stacy: I tried to use all these gadgets an I just can't get my hair to look right. But I'm happy you do these videos cuz I was probably doing it wrong

Faegheh Sajadian: You teach good, the hair styles are beautiful, but I prefer videos with less explanation and just showing the methods.

Megan Box: Oh my gosh, it’s a knockoff EZ-Bun . Those were the RAGE in the homeschooling community about 10 years ago. And she’s not using it right, lol.

Leonna Hofer: The foam one has been around forever (like over 30 years) but without the ribbon.

eavening: I have a birds nest hair accessory. It doesn't hold at all. I think the 2nd drawstring one would look nice over a bun.

Gerida Booyens: Hair stuff aside - your hair and that shirt/top you have on! Gosh - you look stunning!!!

Shqipegrl: I’d been eyeing the 1st hair item for a while now. They sell them in packs on Amazon

Christina Cueto: I have some of the Deft bun makers (the first product). They’re cute, but once I put one in, it looks like I’m wearing a big bow. Mine are the same size as the yellow one.

Beverley Picard: Thanks for the info, love your videos., can't wait for the new baby !

Moriah Garland: Gotta say, I was starting to get frustrated *on your behalf*. I'm one of those "let me do it!" types and I wanted to reach through the screen to help you out! I've tried many of those bun maker contraptions and they really only semi-work most of the time. Thanks for the review!

Miss Tammy: The birds nest for hair buns. Is really good for really long thick hair.

Floareintherain: It’s a little frustrating to watch a whole video of cheap versions of very common products being used incorrectly with zero diversity in hair types. A bit like watching someone buy a cheap can opener from a dollar store and beat it against the top of a can then claim can openers don’t open cans.

Raven Page: The scrunchie with the string may not leave the bump in your hair from tight ones ..so can throw it up and still look good of gonna put it back down and go out kinda like the twist technique

Jasmin Boyette: The magic roll would probably work but you tie it with elastic first

Eleanor Crawford: Thank you for the demonstration don’t waste your money have tried most of them all ended up in the bin.

Courtney C: I love the first one so cute!

Brandi Laughlin: The third one's been around for a long time we used to try to use it when back when I was in high school

Vanessa Padilla: The last one (the small silicone ones with a slit) I used those as a child: they’re meant for small buns, that’s why they don’t have nearly the same size as the first one. Maybe small space buns made from just a section of hair.

Ok Gibberish: I think the drawstring scrunchy would be good for very curly hair where normal scrunches/bobbles might get tangled?

Emily Moriarty: Yay I was waiting for you to review these!

brick sloth: me, with a flat top, sitting through the entire video like I will ever use this information

Christina C: Idk if they still make em but you guys should try the hairagami I had one in the early 00s and the first product you used reminds me of them.

Davarra Shayde: The first one i had something like it but it was kinda like a snap bracelet thing where it was rolled up in the hair then snapped into a circle shape or heart shape to make a bun, i forget what it was called though...

Lenka Koláčková: I have the first one. It can be bit fiddly but I like it.

Noelia Jaime: That pink scrunchy...I think you need to tie in a bow or knot ( The strings) after you fasten it,so it doesn't come loose and fall out.

Julia G.: I feel like the first bun maker might be good for overnight waves??
