Sweet Treats Hair Accessories

Hi so first I take out two pieces of felt and we're going to work on the ice cream cone right now. What I did was I painted it with mixing some acrylic paints and you'll see later on how it came out. So I'm first going to take the orange piece of felt and I'm going to use a marker to draw the basic shape, just as I always do, and you could do lots of different shapes on the cone in the ice cream. Scoop. I'M just doing the basic triangle and I'm going to round the bottom part a little bit just to make it a little more cute and cartoony. Then what you want to do is you, after you cut it, you flip it over. So the markers on the back and what I did was I make some paints together to get a lighter, color and I add more detail to it. So the colors that I mixed were a pastel, yellow and pastel, pink and mix that together. I put that on and I used a gold acrylic paint just to make some stripes. Then later I made some stripes with glitter nail polish, and then I used a brown marker to finish the stripes, so there is my ice cream cone. The next thing I did was I took a light pink, which you can use any flavor ice cream or any color. You want, and I just placed it over overlapping a little bit and again just draw the shape that you want, which, with the ice cream scoops, they have different shapes as well. I'M just going to use the normal ice cream scoop that you see it just says. Like three little bumps in the bottom and a big one on the top, you could use anything to market, I'm just using the marker, because I have them lying around and you don't have to be precise. You can do a rough shape and then, when you're cutting it, you can see how it's coming out and cut to. However, you like so this is what I came up with this in the week, and all you have to do is just place it on again. Overlapping a little bit so that it looks more normal because ice cream isn't like hiding behind it, and I took a glue stick and I just glued it on to the card, and the next thing that I did was. I actually took my nail polish, that's glittery. So it looks like sprinkles and I just placed it on and I use another nail polish to just go to the top and then taking some longer beads. I just placed it where I wanted to then taking white thread. I just put it through the needle and I made sure to knot the ends and cut off the excess. So what I did was I just started to poke hole and made sure that I kind of did it backwards. So you see in the back, the knot is on the back. You don't want it on the front. So once you do that, I just put the bead through and I made sure that the needle was thin enough for the bee to go through, because some of them are too thick and the beads won't go through. So I just fix it up to see the position of the bead, and then I put the needle through so that it went in the back, and you just repeat the steps on how many beads that you want. You can glue them. If you want. I just prefer to sew them on, and I'm just gon na take these little beads to finish off and make more sprinkles. So this is what I have right now again, you can glue them if you want. This is the back. You could see that I'm not that good at sewing, but I know the basics, so I just nodded it in the back to secure everything and I decided to kind of sew a little bit onto the cone so that there they were connected so that I was Absolutely sure that both of them, the ice cream scoop and the cone we're not gon na fall off, and then I just cut it and gon na stuff. The next thing I did was I made the cherry, which this is a bead. I have no idea where I got it from and it has a flat back. You could also use a button or a sequin or another kind of bead use, whatever you can think of and then using a hot glue gun. I just put it place it on and glue guns like from the 90s, the very old glue. Then, if you use the glue gun, be very careful, so I just pressed it on. I had to work quickly and then taking wire and pliers. I just place the bead in, and this is going to be the stem of the cherry, and then I hop them gun that as well and the ends I just bent with pliers. After that, I took a light pink to paint some highlights and mix that with red to make the shadows just to add some more detail to the ice cream. You don't have to do that. If you don't want, you could, as I just add as much detail or as little details, you want that's it for the front in the back. You might want to cut out a piece of felt or any type of material in the shape of the whole ice cream, to cover the back and glue it on or sew it on in case, your sister's messy is mine, also what you could do, instead of Gluing, the design onto a hair clip every time you make a design. You could take one of these things. I don't know what the name is um, but you could just glue one of them onto your hair accessory and then glue the other one on to your design course sew it on, and then all you have to do is just if you have a bunch of Them obviously, you glue the same side to all of your designs. That way, you could switch them and it doesn't have to be glued on that way. You could like have an ice-cream one day. If you wanted to use a cupcake the next you just keep switching on to, however, you want or, however you feel that day, so I made a couple designs. I made this candy cane, I mean not candy candy with foam sheets and some acrylic paint. Then I took a felt again and I made a cupcake this one. I use no glue in I just sewed all around and I made an effective stitching. You know cuz, I already was sewing everything, so I might as well and in the back I had a glue, a piece of wire and make a loop because well you'll see in a minute, because I didn't have enough for those alternating thingies and I made a Donut at a felt as well, and this lollipop is made out of um yarn marker acrylic paint and the stick was pops cool and some being wire thing? That'S not helping. Is it so also you could take a bobby, pin and glue it on to your design. If you want your design, your you know your figure thing so yeah um, you can use a hair clip um, hair, barrettes headbands, like here's, a thicker headband that stretches you can sew or glue them on and make a couple like. If you want a big big, cupcake and little cupcake also, you could take a ribbon and place your donut. You can put it in the middle and that way you could have your plain headband and it doesn't have to be permanently on your headband. You could also make it into a bracelet if you want it works in a lot of ways. Here'S another example which I think I said this is what I had to do. I had to glue a piece, that's actually for necklaces and I just hooked it on, because I had to bend some wire. What I do is I hook it on. I can do that and I put it on my head. So all my desserts, they have a little piece of wire in the background. It should be easier for you, though, so I hope this helped, and I hope that inspired you and I hope you guys make some so have a good day, guys bye,
