No Sew Scrunchie Tutorial - How To Make No Sew Hair Scrunchies Headband Diy For Beginners

So this time i'll show you how to make this crunchy headband without using a sewing machine. If you want to make this crunchy headband wider, i recommend you to use wider or larger headband. We are going to need a long strip of fabric, i'm using cotton fabric to make this crunchy headband. You can use any fabric to make this scrunchy headband, but because this is a no-sew tutorial, there's no sewing. There'S no stitches in this scrunchy headband. I rely on fabric, that's easy to iron and form the crease. So i choose cotton fabric. I'M going to show you the direction of my fabric. If you're making this using scrap fabric, it's okay, it's fine! But if you purchase a new fabric to make this crunchy headband, the directional fabric should be like this. As you can see, this is the edge of fabric. Actually, it's important to consider the direction of fabric for any project. I'M going to fold the fabric to make it easier to write the measurement. The width of fabric is about 4 times the headband, so my headband is 3 4 inch. This size is about three inches or, if you want to make it wider, four inches is fine. The length of fabric is about 45 to 55 inches the longer the fabric, the more fluffy or ruffle the headband will be. I'M gon na cut the fabric a little as i don't want this crunchy headband to be too fluffy, so i'll use 45. Inches next step is to iron the fabric, i'm using a cardstock paper with the size, 1 centimeter or about half inch. I'M very grateful to you who told me the name of this in english, because english isn't my primary language. Sometimes it's very difficult to find the term in english. This is to easily hide the raw edges. Do the same to the other end, make sure you iron? The fabric in the same direction like this next is to iron the long strip of fabric. This is why i recommend you to use fabric that's easy to iron and form the crease. So i'll finish, the fabric using hot glue gun use plenty of hot glue because you don't want the fabric to come off or come undone. This is why we measure the headband before we secure the fabric with hot glue, secure the headband in place, so there's no way for the headband to move or come off. If we use fabric with flower pattern, pole, cutted pattern or others, the pattern isn't visible due to the ruffle of this headband. So i prefer to use plain color fabric to make this crunchy headband. Since we've hidden the raw edges of the fabric, you can just leave it like this. I'Ve tried it on and it doesn't hurt, but if you want to cover it using grosgrain ribbon then go ahead after this. Just like the fabric, like this, it's important to make sure that the fabric isn't twisted, so the back side of the fabric will stay hidden when we wear this crunchy headband. It'S time to finish, the headband use plenty of hot glue, as this is very important. You don't want the scrunchie to come off or come undone.
