Hi, I'm Don bewdley co-founder before international and we're here in San Diego California, at the u4u school, I'm here with Mirza our global team educator for you for international and today we'll be sharing with you: how to tease your hair in a headband. So, to tease your hair with a headband, the first and foremost thing you're going to do is put a headband in your hair. Everyone has their own way of doing that. However, I found the easiest way to do. It is simply putting the headband on your neck. Let it dangle down and then brush your hair back off your face, hold it in a ponytail. While you pull the headband over your face and to secure it easy and done very specific location, it looks better. No, I found that it holds better stays better. If it's right behind the ear that the headband finishes so that way, it doesn't slide back and forth too much and there's a little divot there for the bone, where it can actually sit. So that makes it nice and easy. The second thing, like we always say when you're styling, your hair, you want to spray in some shine, mist to keep the frizzies from popping up all over the place. That'S our little shine is so we kind of missed the hair lightly, and this is a weightless option for shine. So it's not going to get heavy or greasy in your hair. We use squalene to add the shine and close the cuticle once you've done, that you take powder life for us. This is a little negative ion charge product and basically you're going to take little sections in the hair right where you want the volume and you're going to sprinkle the volumizing powder right on to the root, and what this does basically Don is. It helps each hair strain to get coated with negative ion charges and they basically repel from the other hair strands around it. So it's sort of like pushing away from each other, but creating volume level and also when you're putting it in. It'S almost like a pepper, shaker right, a pepper shaker rather than a salt shaker. Absolutely so you don't end up dousing yourself with too much powder. What'S great about this powder, too, is that it has some oil absorbing qualities which is great, because even if your hair is like second or third or fourth or fifth day dirty, you can sprinkle this in and it will give you some volume and suck up all The excess oils. Now, what is your going to look through yep, it's already starting to lift. So that's nice and easy once you've done it. You go back into your small sections and when you're teasing the hair, it's really important not to tear through the hair and create this massive volume by breaking it. You simply want to use a comb like this. Slightly apart, teeth push the comb into the section. A couple inches up away from the scalp and then push down now. What this does is a it's gentler on the hair and B it compacts and condenses the hair, which gives you a nice strong foundation for the teeth. So you do the first section and you want to do a couple sections behind that so that you have support underneath it's kind of like building a foundation. You do the first couple and you push them forward and then you continue behind it all the way to about the crown of the head, though you're holding the hair up. You know, with your other hand, without the comb. Are you allowing some of the hair to fall through your hand? You can absolutely the more hair you hold the stronger the tease is going to be. This will be my last section and the crown of your head is basically right before your head starts to round off. So it's just before the round happens back here once you have your teasing in you're, going to take that whole section and flip it back, and you can see how much volume we've created now now all you're going to do is just cone that into place until It has a nice round shape to it. You comb it back and you push it forward. You comb it back and you push it forward and you do this until you're satisfied with the smoothness and the amount of volume you have and then I always like to finish off with a nice strong hold hairspray, you see all these frizzies coming up so you're Going to want to spray from the front so that they lay right down and you can actually use a can once you spray it to smooth any excess flies off, and that's how you tease your hair in a headband.
