Unice Hair Review + How To Customize Any Headband Wig

This is cute, so so i'm taking a good look at this wig. I usually cut these type of wigs. I usually cut the headbands on, but i'm taking a really good look at this unit. I don't think i'm gon na be able to cut the headband off. As you can see, it's like super stitched. It'S like stitched on there super well, so i doubt i'm gon na be able to take this headband off the way i'm used to doing it um because the wefts are like. I don't think the front of this wig is the way a lot of um half wigs are made, so i don't think that's gon na work, but here is how the hair is looking it is. I can tell there's quite a few split ends like i can see it like when i go like that. I can see them like sticking out, but because it is like a textured wig um. Some of that is going to be hidden because it is a body wave. There is a lot of body, as you can see a lot of movement. The hair is very soft. You can see like the hair out of the package at least has a natural luster to it. So, in order for me to blend my hair with these roots at the top, which is like a 1b, i'm probably going to have to dye this top like feather it out, because my hair is much darker, i don't know about this. One um it's mainly because, like i said the biggest thing, that's concerning me not so much the split ends not so much uh dyeing this hair at the top a little bit darker, but the fact that i can't cut the cap off, like i don't know, what's Going to happen to this wig structurally, if i it's time because i can, i can remove it, but i don't know: what's going to happen to the entire wig like will the tracks start falling off? Will i have to start sewing and you can usually just you know, find a little stitching and just pop it off, but i don't think i'm going to be able to do that on this wig, because this this wig is like again i mean this is good. If you want to leave the headband on there, it's like this is like on there i'm looking at it right now. So let me see, let me do this. Let me see what happens if i start pulling up. Oh, i see what's going on. Oh no we're good. I was able to cut it so that it's at least just the top of the track is showing, but because this is like triple stitched right here, i'm gon na have to end up just cutting this under the wig like just taking this and cutting it off Right here um, so that's what i'm gon na get ready to do and i'm going to slowly. Let me make sure i'm not cutting the track. No, i wasn't and i'm gon na slowly cut little by little. Okay, so i have successfully cut the cap back not completely off, but this is what i have been left with. So that is the front of the wig. It'S not super super flat, but it is flat enough to disappear under headband. So that is what was most important to me honestly, so i am going to put my hair in a little ponytail and not like wear it as a halfway, because my this will not match with my hair color, because my hair color is much darker than this. Now uh but yeah, i am going to now try this on and see how it looks with a headband. Now that i have cut this headband off, it should be able to look pretty flat on my head, so i'll be right back okay. So what i have just done was just take my hair put it inside of a wig cap, and i literally just put the unit on my head so so far i am very much so liking how it looks so now i'm this is my first time actually Combing the unit - and i am getting a little bit of a little bit of shedding - and i suspected this because i did just cut the cap off - so there is a possibility that that i may have cut some of the hair. I was really careful not to i'm used to doing it, so i don't, you know, think i cut much of the hair all, but i am getting some shedding. Finally, this is the same day i received the unit. I have not washed it yet. So this is how it is looking it's looking very good so far. This is how all the hair all of the hair looks forward. It'S not it's not really full, but i think it's because again this is a type of unit. This is the type of unit. That'S gon na grow once you set the waves and let like let it dry and i'm going to wet the hair to see what different people i can get from the natural wave curl pattern of this unit. Okay, it does kind of have that that corn chippy smell combing through it. It is not difficult for me to wet it. So the reason why i'm wetting it first is because i have decided to diffuse it to kind of replicate what it would look like. If i wash this, you know apply a little bit of leave-in a light leaving because this is not curl. These are waves like a light leave in and let it like scrunch it like this and let it air dry overnight. What results would i get? I'M gon na wet the back some more i'm gon na start, scrunching it okay. So here's how it is looking scrunched and now i'm gon na take my blow dryer with my diffuser attachment and i'm going to start diffusing the hair. So this is the remington blow. Dryer, i'm going to turn all the way up to the highest speed, not so much the highest temperature, but all the way on the highest speed, and i might use just warm for now because i'm i'm not really trying to heat style, the hair. So that's what i'm going to be doing. I'M gon na take a small amount of this, no frizz serum. Just maybe about that much. This hair has been uh lightened, so it's gon na act a little bit different from here that has not been treated with bleach or touch with bleach or anything that so i'm just taking it and i'm rubbing it everywhere and i'm just gon na again start scrunching. This up so now you can kind of see like what the curl pattern looks like, or the wave pattern rather looks like for this unit. It'S very pretty i'm just trying to give you kind of idea of what it would look like for me to have just washed it and let it dry the side didn't. I touched the curls a little, the waves a little bit too much, but this is how it's looking it's very like light lightweight and bouncy, very pretty. So what i'm going to do now is fix. My edges that i are laying down properly put on a headband and then i'm going to show you the finishing results. So this is how the unit looks with a headband on i honestly, like it um. I was very concerned at first because, as you could see, i was having issues cutting the band off. I was very concerned about how that was going to affect the overall look of the unit, because i, like my headband wigs to lay on my head as flat as possible, so that when i put the headband on it just looks like i'm wearing one headband. And i was able to overall achieve that. Look i do like the unit. I think they did an excellent job with the color. This particularly right here is beautiful. I like it. I think i'm going to like it much more once i you know properly wash it. You know apply my leave-in conditioner that i like to apply and let it sit on my wig head, like you know, let the waves and like little curls clump on their own, instead of trying to replicate that with a spring bottle and a diffuser. But, given that that's all that i did this unit is gorgeous, you can wear it out the box. Honestly, the length is gorgeous it's the perfect length it stops for me. It stops right here. The ends are nice and thick they're not like scraggly. So i don't have to give this wig like a trim. The unit is so light. That'S why i keep touching it like the hair is so silky, it's so light like. I don't feel it on my head at all. There is so much movement like so much movement. I noticed that the more it dries and the more like i just let it kind of just go like don't comb it. I see how it's getting thicker and i understand why i didn't initially make the wig thicker by adding more hair on the unit. Yes, this is how the hairline is looking.
