Hey guys welcome to soapless today, I'm going to show you the third video on how to make a knot. Headband this is the headband we're going to be making and again all you're going to need is some knit fabric and your basic sewing supplies. So let's get started. The first thing that we're going to do is we're going to cut out two two inch wide and about 22 to 25 inches long strips, and you want to make sure that it'll fit your head. But you also want to leave a little extra so that we can tie the knot at the end, so I normally do around 20 to 22 inches. So this time I'm going to do about 25 inches long and I'm going to make two of them. That are two inches wide after I have both bands cut, I've placed them on top of each other right sides together, I've rounded both edges. So that way we have a nice look when we tie the knot at the end, so I just lay those on top of each other and cut around, and now I'm going to sew all the way around and leave a about a three inch opening so that I can still turn it right-side out once I have both pieces sewn together, and I still have that couple inch, opening I'm just going to trim the ends, and then I can start turning this inside out, especially on the round part. You just want to make sure you get all of that fabric out. You even might want to iron it so that it has a nice round shape. Once I got my headband turned to the right side out, i ironed it a little bit to make. It lay flatter, and then I earned this opening that we still have and all I'm going to do to close. It is just put the edges together and I've got my needle and thread, and I'm just going to do a really quick stitch to keep them together. So I'm just gon na take a chunk from one side and go through and then take a chunk from the other side and go through and just do that all the way down. When you come to the end, you can just take a couple stitches in the same place or you could just make a knot, and if you don't want to do the stitching by hand, you can do top stitching all the way around. I just didn't want to do any top stitching online, but if you want to do that, you can so now I can cut off those strings and I am officially done with that. Headband and now you can just tie your headband in a knot on your head and you will be all done. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and make sure to look back at the other videos on how to make two other headbands and make sure to LIKE comment and subscribe, and I will see you guys next time. Bye.
