Sparkly Affordable Tops And Accessories For The Holidays!

Hi everyone it's margaret here with 60 and me hope, you're doing well, wherever you are and feeling the sparkle of the season. The this, the worst sparkle was my word for 2021.. I just loved that sense of sparkle and i have it in everything that i wear on my hats. On my, you know my clothes, and this is the time of year when we can take a moment to just put on our fancy, clothes and and necklaces and just enjoy whether we um you know get together just with family, around christmas and haul up the holidays Or whether we really do go out to dinner and to parties, and for me, i'm just going to share with you some ideas, because i don't think you need to spend a lot of money to get some sparkle in your life and you've got things already in Your wardrobe, i guarantee you that will be perfect and i've got a couple of little tips and tricks for adding um kind of temporary sparkle to your to your clothes. But it's not just clothes. It'S it's jewelry! It'S! It'S your earrings! It'S just those little little touches that say: i'm sparkling, i'm you know whatever my age is i'm gon na sparkle. So let me show you a few of the things some ideas. I'Ve got now this little necklace i bought this years ago and it gets brought out just about every christmas, because i really love it. It'S got some lovely sparkle and it's got some matching earrings. So this for me, is kind of my classic. Look, i'm not terribly excessive when it comes to to sparkle and jewelry. I, like the subtle approach - maybe maybe you do too, but i do have another necklace which many of you have seen, um, which i i'm not wearing today, but this is one of my necklaces that um, i always said to myself. I never know where i'm going to wear this and someone just said well, just wear it and um. So you know it's kind of a going out to dinner necklace. But it's you know you could wear it just design with a black top and just have a really simple. Have this be your one statement piece, so that's another beautiful sparkle, necklace that i that i love but um jewelry, i'm not gon na spend too much time on, because i don't own a lot of it. You know i have necklaces that are bright, colorful rainbow ones, but these are the ones that um sparkle to me, and i want to show you first, some tops, let's go through tops because, as i said, you don't need to spend a ton of money to to Make things look beautiful, um and when i went around the shops, just looking for for sparkly tops most were really affordable, and so the ones i've got. Um are some that were in my closet and then also some i purchased this one is your classic. You know black top with sparkles this cost less than ten dollars. I think - and it was one of those they're everywhere but they're so pretty and it's just got little sparkles all along the top of the of the t-shirt, and this is perfect really for and like a nice easy at home christmas where or new years any any Of the holidays in the next couple of months, um, where you want to be comfy, it's a t-shirt and it's got sparkles that are not real, sparkles, they're kind of those embedded ones. So it's it's lovely. This is actually probably what i'm going to wear, because it's got long sleeves down, three-quarter length sleeves and it will just be cozy and comfy on the days, so the other one i um i pulled out was a kind of a similar idea. It'S got i'll. Take off the hanger so that you can see it without hangers but uh again, it's it's! This beautiful teal blue and it's not got so many sparkles on it, but i i kind of like it it's just a very simple um, comfy, t-shirt-ish, material and they're. Just very pretty you could wear brooch with. There are just some really pretty long earrings. I just think that that's a really cool one too so, and i love this color, this teal blue um. Another thing if you haven't got any sparkles is to make them yourself, and this is really interesting, because i had i bought a little t-shirt a while ago and it's actually kind of a funny one. It'S called it's just a little statement to one that says um. What does it say on it? La vie est the life is beautiful, and so i saw this little um t-shirt and i decided, wouldn't it be fun to just put some sparkles around the neck. Now it's got a little gap there, which i need to work on, but you get the idea, and these are just stick-on sparkles, that you can purchase and they come in a little packet like this. They peel off and you can just put them on anything. You can put them on just a part of your t-shirt. You can put it round the neckline, i thought la vie. A life is beautiful, it's a really sweet theme too, very short sleeve, but pretty. But i love this idea that you can add um sparkle to your to anything, to a hat, to a pair of gloves to a t-shirt and it doesn't have to be the whole thing and it probably would fall off when you wash it. But you know you put it back on again. This was actually these were very reasonable price that they're adhesive rhinestones, i think they're called you can find them on amazon and all kinds. This is a five millimeter, so i'd be if you're looking for bigger ones, be careful because they don't get much bigger than a five or six, but they're still pretty they're, still pretty on a little t-shirt and you can just make your own sparkle, create your own Sparkle, of course, there's always this option, which i don't know if i'll ever be wearing this, but it's a new year's eve type of top and if you can see the neckline, it's got kind of that drapey neckline, and it's just that. You know very classic. Stick on sparkles, it's super super soft and the back is velvet, so it's one of those i'll just try to hold it up. So you can see. I don't know it's like a disco dress, but it is actually very nice if you're wearing just black pants and you want to just have a sparkly top. That'S not, you know, affordable, washable and and fun, and i do and you can't really see it because um the way that it's whole is it's draping, but it's actually got a cowl or one of those necklines that kind of gathers a bit. So it's not right up against your neck. It'S very comfy sparkles! I love them. Okay, so that's a sparkly top for sure um, another one which i've had in my wardrobe for a long time and i've worn this several times already but um. I purchased it at a. I think it was called new yorker, which is a a young person's store like it's not designed. For you know it's not like a classic, nordstroms or or um. You know chicos or anything, but anyway it's this beautiful, blue color. Again. I'Ve actually worn this on videos, it's got, it's got an uh, a neckline, but i wanted the reason i chose it. Is it's got sparkly buttons? Can you see these little buttons and i just think that makes such a lovely touch on a um on a shirt? It'S got three three buttons. Oh it's got there tucked in there we go three buttons. I'Ve also got this in black, which is really really pretty, but isn't that nice? I really like that and, as i said, you don't need a ton of sparkle. It doesn't have to be like in your face sparkle. It can just be something very simple, and i love this this top and it's made out of a jersey material. It'S very. It'S got long sleeves quite long sleeves, so that's kind of cozy if it's cold on around the holidays and that's another one that i love. Okay, so that's kind of some tops to think about. Of course there are accessories like headbands, which is you know. This is kind of cool this little glitzy one and you can get lots of headbands. I mean there's so many choices of headbands. I like this one because it's not too tight and it's just a pretty very simple um accessory for the hair uh. That'S one option! The other thing i found um when i went into this shop that does home decor, is they had these beautiful um little they've got little um clips on the back and they're meant to be actually used on um. You know in your house like for decorating for christmas, but this is so small that i thought it would make a really pretty brooch on a on a blouse or even in your hair. You could even clip it in your hair. I think that'd be really really pretty um and i got it. It was 195, so very, very inexpensive, um and there's no. Oh, yes, a little bit of glitter does come off, but not too much, and that actually would add to the glitter. This one also is pretty this. Is that kind of purple i like it, but you know these are are just on a hat. These would be nice too. So, speaking of hats, um, this is one that's kind of cool for sparkle, sparkly purposes, it's actually a headband. I won't put it on because it will kind of mess up my hair, but you get the idea. You put it around your hair like this and it's good for keeping your ears warm, but this actually ends up going right like in the in the front. You get oh, for goodness sake. Marco just put it on. You can see how it looks like this. It'S like a uh. What do you call it there? It goes like that and i think that's really pretty too and these again were very affordable. I can't remember flapper days, but anyway, that's the um little band with with glitz and sparkle, and also um head uh pull. What do you call these, like scrunchies um, that these again were very reasonably priced with glitter with the sparkles on them? So you can put those on your hair if you pull it back and again, these are velvet faux velvet and uh super super um. You know large and squishy they're, not so tight. You could almost pull that one piece of hair back and it would um. This would hold it. So that's another option: scrunchies sparkle, scrunchies and i've got another. Oh my hat i'll show you in a second but um. I actually um love knitting. I don't know whether any of you do, but there's so much cool wool around today. That'S got sparkles in it now i don't know whether you can see this. I knitted this little scarf and i just thought it was really really pretty and it's got um. Well, you maybe can't see it on the camera, but it's got sparkles woven through it and just something like that under your coat or you know just around your neck to keep you warm. I just think that's really really pretty. This came in all different colors and it's soft. It'S that kind of really really soft material. So soft and sparkle i mean you can't be uncomfortable right. This is the thing at this time of the year. You want to be super comfortable um. I did actually um bring out a red t-shirt which has got nothing on it. I was going to put sparkles, but i think we need some color here. So maybe we could put something like this on the on the shirt improvise. It'S just sparkle is easy, easy to do, and i guess finally is my hat, and i've got two hats that i've done this with and that's i bought the beret and then i added sparkles. These are stick on rhinestone. Actually, these are um heat, press-on, uh sparkles. These are rhinestones in different sizes and um. These are different than the ones i had the stick ons these are. Actually, you have a so it's like a glue gun, but it's a heated gun, glue, gun and you just put the rhinestone on and then just um hold it for 10 seconds and it sticks it on because these get this gets worn out all the time and Um this actually, besides the black one, this is my favorite, but i'll put it on, so you can see okay, this is my, but that to me is sparkle.
