Dollar Tree Haul Part 1! | Makeup And Hair Accessories | Name Brand & New Finds | July 4-5, 2020

Hi thanks for clicking on my video, I have some great things to show you today, you'll stay with me: I'm going to run through some name-brand things, some things that you may have not seen at the Dollar Tree and just lots of fun things I had so Many things that I'm actually gon na break this up into two videos and hopefully you'll get to catch the other one. The first video for today is going to be basically makeup, hair accessories, that type of thing, and then everything else is going to be in the other video if you're new here my name is Amanda, I'm sort of new. Here too, I haven't been doing YouTube. I just have a handful of videos on my channel, so you want to check those out go ahead and see what you think, but I am still working on this. I basically have been showing some Dollar Tree and Marshalls and TJ Maxx Big Lots. Just some discount type shopping, I'm going to make sure everybody knows you know the deals are out there. I know the stores have been closed and it probably seems like forever, since you been able to get out there and check it out, but things are getting up and running. I'M hoping we're not going to go backwards with this, but we shall see. I hadn't planned on lunch shopping this weekend with everything being so busy, but - and it is my son's birthday tomorrow, so we ended up in a couple dollar trees and gathering up decorations and plates, and things like that for his birthday, and I was almost hoping that The Dollar Tree did not have anything new, because I think we are gon na get to go on our vacation and I don't want us really be spending any extra money. But of course the Dollar Tree is always getting new great things in and then I course had to buy them. So that's what I have I'm gon na stay out of there. I think after this, but oh let's see, I also did not plan on uploading. A video today on the 4th of July and I'm not in any way disrespecting this faith. It was just we had already been outside for quite a while. We had some company and we were almost overheated. So we came in the house and I started get tired. I'M like I need to do something or I'm gon na end up was taking a nap, so I wanted to get this stuff out of the bag anyway, so I can start using it. So I think I've talked long enough. I'M gon na start showing you all the great things that they have at the Dollar Tree. This thing at least a couple of my no. I showed you before, but most of it. I don't think that I have seen yet. So let me like things I know I have showed you, but I keep they keep on coming out with two of the same one on accident. These are the wet and wild lip balms. I hope they only have four colors. On my last video I found like a plum colored one, and then I found these two, which is this one, is a really pretty like peach type color. It is called tell, and this one if you can see it, is a real, pretty pink color and it is called tease. I have been using these like crazy, like I've put this on all day. Now, it's I'm starting to be a habit. I keep putting it on it feels so great on your lips and it's that's just a little hint of color. It'S sort of my new favorite thing now, usually I would just do like a regular lip balm or whatever, but these right now are my favorite. So I grab those two new ones actually grab that one twice maybe I'll give that one away, but it's got a couple more of those, so I don't know how many total there are there's at least seven or eight of them. I would think okay um. I take it this this is by Rumi rose. I had originally got. It is a lip exfoliator. I'D originally got. Let me see if I can reach it here. This point a while back, which is the LA Colors, which I usually love most LA Colors products and I feel bad now because on my first video review of the LA Colors lip scrub, I said, and I wasn't a big fan. I didn't feel like the bumpiness, but those the exfoliating, but I kind of felt bad later, because the more you used it and got down farther into it. There definitely is some. You know like some roughness to it. That is what it's supposed to be doing, that clear off your they. I guess the dead skin on your lips and make them smooth. So I feel bad for saying that about LA Colors. I do like this lip scrub, but I did want to try. Somebody else had said they liked the room euros won and I never had seen it Intel just recently and I haven't bought much of the Ramirez products. But then someone had suggested this. I thought he'd pick it up and give it a try and see and kind of compare them and it'll probably go pretty fast. So I wanted to just give that one a try I'll have to let you know how that one does but I'll use it. A few times before I start have an opinion on that. I have not tried any of the mascara from the Dollar Tree. I have always sort of just used Avon as far as mascara, and it's always worked great for me, so I wasn't really worried about finding any ones, but this big sort of catch. My eye - and I thought you know if I'm gon na - be in the Dollar Tree and liking all their stuff. I probably should be trying everything and this one kind of caught my eye. This is by again LA Colors, and this is the lash plump formula and you also get a bonus eyeliner in there for $ 1. I thought that was a great deal. I know it's a little bit smaller, but but I thought that sounded like a good deal and I'm really curious to see if I like their mascara and I like the whole packaging. Of course it's super cute and the whole lash plump formula. I don't know it worked their packaging and advertising sold me on it, so I will give that a try as well and that'll, be my first experience with Dollar Tree mascara. Ok, these I have followed before and was sorry that I didn't pick up more because I haven't seen a minute of my local dollar trees, but this one I went back to the same one. That'S not really that close to my house but and got a couple more of these, because this is hard the hard candy and this is called rock and roll it's hard to show the colors. I think that's pretty good, it's sort of a grayish. I thought it was purple on this side, but I think it's almost like a silverish with a hint of purple and then this is a really pretty like blush pink, which I've been loving. That color lately for some reason and I had used the one I bought and I was excited by more because I can't find it at any of the other dollars. It'S just that one. So I did grab a couple of them this time. I'M not real good about blending two colors, I say everybody's makeup and so beautiful and I would think I always think I would never think that put those colors together and they look so good and these look really good together. So it's kind of like a cheat for me since I don't know how to blend the colors correctly. They did it for me, speaking of hard candy, when we were at the Dollar Tree, I was super excited hard candy. You have to look when you go to the makeup section if you're interested in looking for the name brand or the hard candy, you have to look careful because they're packaging with all the LA colors and they're bright, bold packaging. Sometimes you look right past it. I had looked there and didn't even see this when I went back through on my way out. I saw this and this is the hard candy it is called. It is a so baked bronzer called heatwave and it is really pretty. It'S got just a little bit of shimmer and it does look like a bronzy color, just like almost a natural bronze. If you were out in the Sun and you had a lot of product in here. This is a pretty big. You know some of the bronzers are just small, so this is hard candy and this size. I think, for one dollar, that's a great deal. They had a lot of them at my store, so I didn't buy multiples. I left some for everybody else to find, but I was excited and then not even beside it, but up the aisle mixed in with the other brands. I saw this and thought it was the same thing, but then I look closer at it. You can see as little specks of like yellowish gold. I picked it up it and it's different. This is the bronzer and in this one they look sort of the same, but this one says glow all the way, and this is actually a baked bronzer as well, but it is in it is Tiki, so they're, both a bronzer but their packages look a little Bit different and they do too, I mean this one has some dimensions to it with the other colors, so they weren't even hanging together. The best I mean you have to look really careful because they just can blend in and you don't even realize they're sitting there. So I was excited about that and then that wasn't the end of it. I noticed - and I knew to be looking for this, because I saw some other people who had hold this, and this was really what I was looking for, so this bottle. I did notice this is the hard candy and it is a plumping, plumping serum. It says flashers and I don't know if it has a color name to it. This is 1404 and I don't know what the color is, but it's not really pretty. I don't do a whole lot of purples, but it's a plumping saerom and I thought it's hard candy, it's a beautiful bottle, I'm going to use it. It might be more for the fall in that purple, but I was excited because I found it. Sometimes I see things and I put them on a list to look for I mean for the longest time. I won't ever see him at the dog train. Just when I give up on it, then I find them, and I have some of those type of items and my other video, though that is not makeup and hair pins I'll just keep going with the makeup. This is LA Colors and it is called well. It'S a shadow by number so again, people like me who watch video after video, putting my eye shadow and still can't figure it out. This is really nice because you can kind of follow, step by step, which one you put where I have some pallets, but I don't think I have any that have exactly like a whole combination for the Browns and I just thought they're really pretty and again. I really do like la colors, so I pick that up, let's see, Wow la colors. Yes, these are probably not new, maybe to you, but they are to me. I mean they were on my list tomorrow. La colors, and these are lip balms turnaround. I already seen them and I don't know how many colors there are in these, but my store just had three of them and you can see they have they're so cute. They have a heart there in the center and they are moisturizing. So this one is called cherished. I don't expect it to show up, because it almost looks like the same colors. My lips do underneath my lipstick and I don't know if they're supposed to have a lot of color but there's different ones. So I'm thinking some this one's super red and it is called adored and the last one, I think, is my favorite and it's a real, pretty pink color that I think is sort of big this summer and it is called treasured, I'm thinking they usually have things At least in for so I think, there's another one somewhere that I didn't find, but it's okay cuz, I don't need anything more. I love those other ones and I should have just been happy, but I did have to get these. I couldn't resist if you've seen my last video. You saw that I did find the little um do. I have them here. Alright, another package. I did keep it packaged um. I had found these there's nothing in it, but it's the Eco tools and they worth a little. I'Ve already been using them, they're, really good, the little sponges for concealer and such and I did see eco soy tolls at Walmart and confirmed that they do run anywhere from like four five, six, seven, eight, maybe nine dollars just depending on what it was - and I Was thinking good for Ecotools putting them in the Dollar Tree cuz? I probably wouldn't have paid any attention to at Walmart, but I went specifically to look and I seen some of their other products and they look really nice. They have some brushes and they have a whole line of stuff, and I thought that was probably a good move on their part to put some of these things in the Dollar Tree, because now I'm I like those and I see, know what else they have, and I thought they are some really nice products, so if you see them and I'm you should definitely pick them up if it's something that you could use, I did find these by Ecotools and this was in a different store than I found those that's. I don't know how they decide what goes where, but these muslin polishing cloths and it says gentle polishing to open pores woven with organic cotton. And I do you think these look like they're, really environmental friendly and you know great product. It says 100 % vegan organic cotton and it has a reusable pouch so yeah right at the top and slide that over and put them back in there um - and I assume you can just rewash these yep after use, rinse thoroughly and hang to dry. Every third use, or as needed, machine wash and warm on the gentle cycle and then hang or lay flat to dry. It has a tip says: run the muslin cloth under comfortably hot water, wring out the excess and place a cloth over your face to open, pores and relax. I am going to try those out. I didn't even know things like this existed really, but I think it's definitely something I'm gon na be interested in, so I will try them and hopefully do a review on them as soon as I can put them here whenever room um, one more thing. This was maybe my most exciting. I don't know why, but because I been thinking I needed to get some of this and then I not only did I find at the Dollar Tree, it's also more hard, candy um. This is the shimmer eyeshadow primer. I had just realized that you know I do the primer for my makeup and everything, but I don't use anything specifically for a primer for my eyelids and I just realized. I had not even tried to find any, and I thought I'm gon na have to look at t.j.maxx or one more something, and then I walk into the dollar store and they had exactly what I was looking for. Um, it says, extend, swear, shimmering eye effect and it shows you on their like what your eye makeup looks like without any primer, it won't focus, but you can see the eyelid anyway and then what it does with the primer - and I think that's exactly what's been Happening with my eye makeup, I haven't used this yet and I like that it has a little shimmer to it so $ 1. So I did get a few of those because it's something I don't have anything like that in my makeup collection and I definitely wanted to give that a try. Okay, that's it for the makeup. I think well kind of I got my head got these before and I had already tried them out. So here's a quick review on those you find these in your Dollar Tree and they have a couple other things: they're by LA Colors and they're the nail art just to let you know super easy to use and they stayed on. I mean I had to. I put one of the hearts on, I think, or one of them I had that like after I put the top coat on a try. Several days later, I was ready to change my nail polish and it was hard to even pull it off, so they are definitely a good find at the Dollar Tree. So if you see those, maybe you do your own nails like I do. You can do some fun things with that or or if you know, if you have a daughter or somebody, I'm sure they would enjoy that too. Okay, now that's it for the makeup and nails and all that my local Dollar Tree, the one that's closest to me. I just want to say is it's a small dollar tree, but they waste no time putting their things out like every time you go in there. They have their stuff out and I don't know if it's because it's smaller but there's one, that's maybe 10 or 15 minutes farther than that one. That'S a bigger, and it's so funny because they're always on stocking things. But it's almost the same thing. Every time I go in I mean they did get some new things, but anyways. I just wanted to mention that you can't judge a dollar tree by the front of it, because that one is one of my favorites and it is one of the smaller ones. I'Ve been to I'm dropping things cuz. I should probably edit all that out, but this is just the things that happened to me, so you might as well just see so anyways when I go into this little Dollar Tree right to the right side of the door. I could tell they had put new things in there and some of them, I'm not gon na, show you in this video I'm gon na make you wait and you'll have to watch the next video, but they had a ton of new hair things, and I was Thinking that they have a lot of the oh there's not other than yelping, those are just the strips. I haven't tried that yet I think they have a lot of the ones that were the actual skunky bran, but I have a lot of have a lot of those in did they have a lot of their brand and they actually caught my eye a little bit More than the name-brand this time, so I got this - I have been using some just like these that I got from the Dollar Tree that are the scrunchie brand at nighttime, and I can't believe the difference between wearing like something soft like this and even to some Last fake or one of the ones that aren't quite as soft, I just really enjoy those at nighttime, so these are going to be my nighttime ones, and this one feels just as soft as the name-brand ones. So I just blend pick that up and then this one is not fur. Just forget what I just really like the look of it. I thought it might look good with my hair color and it looks summery and fall. So I thought I could get a lot of use out that word um. Then this is again the Dollar Tree brand. I like how I hold them up to the side and where nobody can see them um. These are just a pack and you get 12 of them in there, but I like these ones here, these striped ones are really neat and they hold up pretty good. Those ones do have the silver thing. So some people don't like that, but I've never had a problem getting them stuck in my hair or anything. I just like those colors a lot and two of these have not tried these they're kind of a in-between, and you can see. I stretch it out and it's kind of like a really neat woven, look and they're super soft and I got those ones. I wear a lot of those colors and then I just got these for you know, because they're kind of neutral you can wear that with anything. I thought they were just kind of interesting and I guess that in between the scrunchies and the elastics and then one last thing - and I will be done - I did pick this up by the country brand. You get 48 pieces in this and they're what they are. It'S just little tiny elastics like I would have liked to use today, but I hadn't opened these yet so I think these will be great for the end of a braid or just when you do like really like a small, bun or ponytail, there's just a nice Size and if you don't like to use those rubbery ones that are hard to work, sometimes I think those are a great find and, like I said, 40 of them for $ 1. So I didn't want to buy anything and, as you can see, I bought all this plus. I got some other things house things and stationery things, and I'm gon na do another video at another time on that, hopefully soon so I can get everything out of the bag and start putting it where it belongs, but I just wanted to since I had a Few minutes, while we were cooling off before we go back out there in that heat, I wanted to just maybe get this stuff uploaded, and let you know that if you can get back into your stores, you should definitely go and check it out. I hope everybody's having a good holiday weekend. I know things are kind of crazy right now with everything going on, but it's a lot of times, YouTube's kind of an escape for me. If I want to try and step back from the news and just watch, you know some shopping videos or makeup videos or oh, who knows there's so many different things. So that's what I usually and when YouTube is just trying to you know, put your mind on something else. Give yourself a break once in a while. I don't want to really get into any of the politics or the all this going on, but I will say this: we are celebrating the fourth of July. As for me and my husband and our kids, we are very grateful to live in this country. We'Re grateful for everything that we have and we just are going to continue to pray for our country, our leaders. Hopefully we can come together as a country, and you know just love each other and that's what we're here for, and we definitely are grateful for all of our military and servicemen and everybody who puts their life on the line for us each and every day. We will never take that for granted and we are thankful to be here and I hope everybody else is safe and everybody is able to just be with the people that they love and maybe enjoy themselves a little bit whether or not you're celebrating the holiday. And that's really all I want to say on that. I just wanted to get this stuff uploaded.
