Well, hey guys get excited because in this video i'm going to be sharing with you the best hair care products. I tried out throughout 2021.. I want to take a moment to thank today's video sponsor peak tea. If you've been watching my videos over the years, you know peak tea is my go-to for high quality and delicious teas. They have this unique cold extraction technology that really sets them. Apart from other tea makers on the market, you get concentrated antioxidants and beneficial compounds from the tea and these tea crystals that dissolve in a matter of seconds in either hot or cold water. I'M a busy person - and i don't like dealing with the tea bag and steeping, and all of that they have over fifteen thousand five star reviews. They triple screen their tees and they offer a 30 day. Satisfaction guarantee. So if you want to try out their teas and you don't care for them, you can get your money back. Teas don't have any added sugar or artificial sweeteners towards the latter half of 2021. I have been in the habit of having a daily matcha tea and their sun goddess. Matcha is seriously the best. It is 100 organic ceremonial grade, matcha tea, matcha tea is full of antioxidants to support not only healthy skin but reduce total body inflammation and their tea is shaded longer for extra l-theanine. L-Theanine is a compound in matcha tea that has a calming property. So you have a little bit of the caffeine from the tea, but without the jitters thanks to the l-theanine and this year i also tried out, for the first time, they're fermented poor teas, which are really delicious. They actually come from trees that are over 250 years old. The fermentation process enriches for antioxidants and beneficial compounds. Another one i adore is their electric turmeric. I like having that as a latte, there's curcumin from the turmeric, which is anti-inflammatory, there's also ginger in this tea, which again is anti-inflammatory speaking of ginger, their ginger digestion, elixir was featured in my november favorites video because it is so good this time of year. You know like a little gingerbread latte and in the summer months i really favor their hibiscus beauty, elixir it's great as an iced tea. It'S packed with vitamin c which supports healthy collagen, but peak tea has a great offer going on right now for a limited time. You can get up to two free cartons of their tea, plus this adorable little holiday pouch. When you build your own bundle, so use the link in my description box to check out peak tea. You will not be disappointed now. As far as products, i tend to stick to the favorites that you always hear me rave about. I continue to use function of beauty, shampoo and conditioner. I'Ve been using that since october of 2019 and it is a favorite, but i tried out some new shampoos and conditioners this year. I like to do that to make sure i'm giving you guys a balance of different products. Anyways um, i came across these garnier fructis pure clean hair reset shampoos. I tried out all of them, love them all, but the one that really stood out to me as a favorite this year is their rebalancing shampoo. If you have an oily scalp, i cannot recommend this enough. It has charcoal in it which can help absorb some excess oil from the scalp, the hair strands and from you know, within the follicle, and that also can help if you get little itchy bumps in the scalp. Just removing some of that excess oil can just kind of help. You know i hate the word detox, which they don't use on here. Yes, um, but it can just kind of help to kind of reduce, build up on the scalp having that charcoal in there, and it has salicylic acid, which is really good for seborrhea and oily scalp. If you have dandruff it's great ingredient, but they managed to balance this out in a way that it's actually moisturizing, it does generate a nice lather. I personally, i you know. I'Ve always said i love to have a scented shampoo. I actually really like the fragrance in the shampoo, but it doesn't leave the hair overly scented. So i appreciate that you know a little bit of scent. It'S very good. The the conditioner that goes along with this is also very nice. I mentioned that. I continue to use my function of beauty, shampoo and conditioner, and i really adore their hair mask, but i like doing hair conditioning hair masks a few times a week for my strands. I really just find that it helps improve manageability, shine and gloss, and this i adore the biologe. What is it called hydrosource conditioning balm? Oh, this is amazing and it smells amazing as well love the scent of biology products. Now why use this and not just use regular conditioner? This is a lot thicker and the reason that helps is it allows each strand to be more thoroughly. Coated conditioners are a lot more watery lightweight, whereas creams balms they're going to be thicker just allow for better sealing in of hydration and in the case of hair they're, going to help really neutralize the charge on the hair strands that arises from shampooing to help. You know reduce frizz tangles, a lot from better manageability and to impart shine to the hair. So i just keep this in my shower. It actually duels as a soap dish, because i've been using the cerave salicylic acid bar soap, and i just keep it right. On top of this, so it duals as a soap dish anyways. I thought i would share that with you yeah. I really like this. It leaves the hair very shiny and glossy. Now i only you know when you do a mask like this, you only want to apply the product to you, know the bottom, two thirds or so of your hair strands depending on the length you don't want to get it up here. That'S just going to weigh down the hair too much, although, depending on your hair type, you may actually need that. So you know if you've got hair like mine, fine to medium, i have pretty medium textured hair. I would say so. This came from amazon and i definitely recommend it. It lasts a long time. You don't need very much. I mean i've been using it for months and months now and i barely made a dent in it and i use it several times a week. So you know it's not inexpensive, but it does a really good job coating. The strands and parting shine manageability gloss bounce. All of those good things that you are seeking in a conditioning balm without weighing down the hair. It leaves a nice scent, but doesn't leave your hair overly scented and you don't need a whole lot of you know you don't need a ton of product. I have long hair, i have a lot of hair and you know i'm barely going through it using it consistently so highly recommend it. It is a worthwhile product, okay, so this year i also got into blow drying my hair. I know you guys are like: let's go to sleep now: oh my god. She discovered a blow dryer how novel um, but i you know i try and avoid heat to my hair, because heat makes your hair more brittle prone to breakage frizz tangles. But when you take a blow dryer to the hair or heat to the hair, it does look more presentable, especially for my hair type. It'S you know, kind of wavy and whatnot, so i have started using a blow dryer just blow dry sort of the ends to make them straighter more manageable and what i love about. So this is what i'm getting out. So this is a hair dryer. I got it's a t3, you know. Is this the best hair dryer on the market? No, i'm not likely, although never say, never, i'm not likely to ever plunk down the change for that cadillac of hair dryers, the dyson um. Who knows but to me this is kind of medium price point as far as hair dryers on the market, and i am pleased with it, it has a different. It has two different attachments. This and one other one. I don't know what the difference is between them. Are i've just kept this one on, so i'm not a hair stylist. I couldn't tell you, but i've just kept this one on and the other one is. You know floating around my bathroom, so you can do low heat, medium heat or high heat and then, of course, you can do kind of a weaker blow or a more forceful airstream, and this little button here switches over to cool which, when i'm done, i i Switch to the cool mode and it just kind of helps, reduce static, and i think it also helps to reduce the heat damage after you've been applying the heat to just cool the hair strands. I think that helps a lot. I'Ve been really happy with this. I use it for a few minutes pretty much daily now now that i've gotten into doing that heat styling my hair, a bit, i have been using this scene brand blowout cream. I put a tiny amount of this in the hair to minimize any kind of heat damage and it's got moringa seed extract in it. It'S very moisturizing but doesn't weigh down the hair. I only you only need a tiny amount, so this brand seen it's a hair care line. All their products are really good. I'M currently have their shampoo and conditioner in my shower, and i use it a few times a week. It'S meant for people who have acne and are prone to breakouts. It doesn't have as many you know, kind of thickeners that could leave a film or residue on the skin. I believe the shampoo is sulfate free, which, if you remember from my videos on hard water sulfates, can interact with hard water leave a film behind on the skin that can aggravate eczema and acne just by causing irritation. So i've been really happy with their hair care products, including this you know: heavy greasy, hair care products, pomades and things when the hair touches your face. Those products can transfer to the skin and be associated with acne breakouts. It'S called pomade acne, but really any styling product can do that. The sides of the face, the forehead. That'S where you're going to see that i also like that it's free of fragrance now they have a scented one and i have to say the scent is actually quite nice, but i prefer the fragrance free one and in my experience using it, it duals as a Leave-In conditioner as well, you can put it on the hair while it's still damp. So if you're in the market for a heat protectant, you heat style your hair, i recommend the blowout cream. It'S quite good. All right! You have seen and heard me blab on and on about how much i adore these aqui hair towels. I have. I think i have four now um. I just love them. They really do a good job, pulling all the excess water out of the hair drying. It quickly and that helps reduce frizz makes the hair more manageable. It cuts down on irritation in the scalp as well, just by pulling all that excess water out, especially if you live somewhere with hard water. It just minimizes the amount of contact time with water, and so i really i adore these - i mean these. I i've tried many of these hair type of hair turban towels over the years that what was it called the turbo turby twist turby towel. I'Ve used that these are superior, they get the water out a lot faster, so i have this avocado green one, but then they also make one that i have that has like copper in it, which is anti-microbial so that one i also like. But honestly, i don't appreciate any difference between the two as far as their ability to remove water from my hair. They all do a really good job. They also make them as just plain towels, not the turban shape, and i have one i end up using it. Actually, more to pat dry, my skin from time to time or, like you know, the little drips around my face. I don't end up using it in my hair, just because i find it's harder to keep it in place as opposed to the turbine where you have the button and the loop to hold it in place, stays in well, so you can also just get you know. They'Re plain towels, but they're really good material, very absorbent so because i've gotten into heat styling my hair, a few one to two times a week. I try to not shampoo my hair get my hair wet. I'Ve always been someone who shampoos their hair every day. So this is like new territory for me anyways, so i got into trying out different shower caps this year, and i love this one. It is by the brand shh shower is how you say it shower cap. It kind of looks like one of those old school swim caps. The thing i love most about this i mean it sounds silly. Is that for whatever reason as the shower water is hitting it, it makes no sound. I find that shower. Cap sounds somewhat unsettling, so it allows, for you know, a more peaceful showering experience. I suppose that is a bit fickle. The other thing i like about it is that when you step out of the shower, it's so water repellent that there's not like a lot of water pooling in the crevices and dripping all over the place, like some other shower caps. It is pretty much you know. Dry as soon as you step out of the shower, it doesn't collect water or anything. So i love that because i will leave this on my head as i'm getting ready. You guys, you know, i put moisturizer all over damn skin and you know, then, as it's kind of absorbing i get dressed um, you know, put the serum healing ointment on my lips. Put my treadmill on and everything i can do all that with this in place and then, when i'm done with all my skincare routine and everything i can take this off and my hair obviously is dry and it stay. It creates a nice seal too. You don't have the little wispies poking out like you can get with some shower caps, especially those that you know they've got that elastic and i always find that you know you get a loose hair popping out. This is really good, highly recommend it. These are not inexpensive, but a worthwhile investment, in my opinion, very good quality, and they don't make that awful noise. Okay, these are all over social media this year and a viewer sent them to me and initially i did not care for them because well here i'll show you what it is. It'S these gim me hair ties, so a viewer sent me. These was nice enough to send them to me and the first ones that she said i was like well, these aren't gon na work for me because i need to be able to turn the hair tie three times in order for the ponytail to stay put. So i was thinking, oh, these aren't going to work for me, but she was nice enough after after i pointed that out, she was nice enough to send me these, which i love. This is you know the brand gim me time. These will go around the ponytail three times and the reason these are so popular and why i'm you know have come to really love them is that they stay in place. I have a very heavy ponytail and i am one of those people who needs like five ponytail holders in order to have a ponytail that stays in place. I will just you know, get weighted down with my hair. I have heavy hair, so these actually will hold the ponytail in place on the top of my head, so this will actually hold the ponytail at the top of my head throughout the day like if i wanted to wear a ponytail during the day, it wouldn't start Sliding down with this, which i love now, if i do, if i wear this and i go for a run, it will slide a little bit, but that's pretty good because normally, if i put my hair in a ponytail and run, i've got to have like five Or six hair ties because of the weight of my of my hair. That is one of the reasons why you all see me after i work out. You know when i work out, i put my hair in a ponytail and then i wrap the ponytail around. I put these claw clamps in all around it to kind of secure it as like a bun, because otherwise the hair, my hair, is so heavy it'll, just weigh it down, but anyways long story short. These are great. You just have to find one. That is the right size for your hair type like if you have really fine hair the ones she initially sent. Me probably would work for you, but they didn't work for me because my my ponytail is too thick. I need to be able to make three turns in order to get a good hold. I do still use those, however, for like just pulling my hair back in a low ponytail or something all right and speaking of getting your hair out of your face with appliances. Love this these i got on amazon at the recommendation of lisa lisa d1 they're, just claw clamps, and i always i mean i'm a claw clamp person. I always have these with me everywhere. You know clamped onto my sweatshirt. These have become what the scrunchies were in the 80s and 90s. You know you always had one on your wrist and occasionally they make a comeback. But for me the claw clamps are really where it's at. I mean i'll i'll clamp one on my shirt, so i always have one if i need to get extra hair out of my face, but these really hold the hair in place. Well, here i'll show you guys they really hold the hair in place. Well, like you can move your head around they're, not gon na slide out, which i appreciate um and i have to say, i've had them for gosh many months now and they still look and act brand new, like they haven't, lost their strength and the little tines Haven'T snapped see what i mean stays in place like a dream yeah, if you need to get your hair out of your face, these are really good. I use these when i get ready in the morning. I you know just pull my hair back in one of these and put a headband on. Do my skincare routine, it doesn't you know if i used a regular claw, clamp it wouldn't noodle out, because my hair is really heavy. These hold really well. So if you have long hair, like me, heavy hair try these out. I also like that they will nicely go around like a ponytail type shape, so you can twist up your ponytail, and these will just clamp on there really good. All right, you guys. Those are the hair care favorites from 2021 of all the stuff that i've tried out. I continue to use my function of beauty, shampoo and conditioner seriously. That is the best, but that's not new. I'Ve been using that since 2019 and as a side note, i do get questions. Are you still using your eye? Restore professional hair, regrowth helmet? And yes, so i use this. I try to use it every other day, but honestly, i've been using it for so long. Sometimes i just use it a couple of times a week, but i love it because it's just 25 minutes, but i mean you can do it without like you can just do it while you're at the computer. I don't even you know it doesn't even bother me. I do it and i the time flies by because i'm busy answering emails or whatever, but i do work with them um and i bought it myself initially before agreeing to work with them. So i've been using it personally for a long time. A couple of years now actually anyways. It helps with kind of bringing in more growth factors to the hair follicle. So if you have pattern, hair loss you've got miniaturization of hair follicles. This can help kind of stimulate influx of growth factors and blood flow, and a lot of people use this in combination with minoxidil, which you know in its own reserve, works similarly, but some people lack the enzyme that is necessary for minoxidil to be converted to its Active form in the hair follicle and that's what's thought to be the reason why some people just are poor responders to minoxidil. So for some people who try minoxidil and are not happy with it, it doesn't work. This is an alternative or you can use them together. So if you get sub optimal results with either together, sometimes you can get. You know better results. So, yes to answer your question, i do still use this and recommend it. I will link it down below in the description box. It is an affiliate link. Yeah i've been using it for years now i mean it's really good quality. I haven't had a problem with the device, so it is an investment, but in my opinion it's been worth it all right. You guys those are the favorites from 2021 in the realm of hair care. I hope you guys enjoyed this video, don't forget to check out peak tea. You will not be disappointed. The teas are amazing and you can get that cute little gift bag, if you bundle. So if you like this video, give it a thumbs up, share it with your friends and as always, don't forget, sunscreen and subscribe i'll talk to you guys tomorrow, bye, you

Jen Chapin: My favorite claw clamps are from Soulvation, they are fab! I have a lot of hair also and they hold it up very well.

Mariya Z: Eucerin urea calming shampoo and DHS zinc shampoo are my life savers this year. My scalp psoriasis is under control, and my hair is soft and shiny even without conditioner. I’m very impressed.

CassidysPlace: Did you happen to read the study they did on damage to hair during the drying process? The study group was divided into half using blow dryers vs air drying. It was over a lengthy period, I can't remember exactly how long as it's been over a year since I read it. Anyway, the findings were surprising. The air drying group actually had more damage than the blow drying group, due to lengthy periods of constant swelling of the hair shaft.

Anca C: My Dyson was life changing. Also the Mason Pearson brush - LIFE CHANGING! Hair like silk. For a more affordable variant- WET BRUSH works very fine too. A shower cap for hard water also helped me a lot. And last, but not least- using a heat protection spray. I use Wella Elements shampoo (ph of 5 - 5,5) and conditioner. It has no silicones and parabens. Additional OLAPLEX no. 0 + no. 3 as treatment - 1 per month.

Rah Cat: Dr Dray I'd love your input on this! I used to absolutely love that Biolage conditioning balm.. But then I realized that my (naturally straight, non-frizzy, non-chemical treated) hair used to get progressively drier, frizzier, tanglier and just unmanageable in between washes. That shouldn't happen.. I tried different shampoos, leave-in conditioners, oils, anything and everything until it dawned on me that this conditioning balm was the culprit. It gave wonderful slip in the shower and for the first day or two (MAYBE!) but then it started going downhill FAST. Like my hair developed a very unhealthy addiction to this product! I stopped using it and now my hair is back to normal - no frizz and I can go 4-5 days between washing it without it getting unmanageable and fried feeling (I use dry shampoo when my hair feels oily of course). I don't know what's in it that caused this phenomenon but I assume its the silicones? Anyone else experience this with this product or any other ones?

Marietta: Happy Monday! Love the Attitude Volume & Shine shampoo and conditioner. So much cheaper and more effective than my previous salon hair care products.

Ashley InQ.: Dr. Dray! Good morning from Arizona! I just bought my first jar of CeraVe, Ambi, SPF30, CeraVe foaming cleanser, and saw my first Dermatologist ever (I am 31 years old) for a proper annual exam! Thank you for helping me get my skin regime together. As an African American woman I have believed all to the myths about our skin and you are empowering we scientifically backed information. I appreciate you. Especially living in a highly sun exposed state! Sending love and gratitude. -Ashley InQ ♥️

Deanna Santini: Same here with blow drying it’s been a long time !! Your hair is beautiful I’m on a hair care journey and you have saved my life with these I’ve been having a hard time trying to find products that won’t clog my pores or strain my hair ! Happy holidays dr dray !!

Mad Simple: Dr Dray is the Dyson of dermatologists.

Lis inBondi: Happy festive season Dr.Dray. Thank you for another fun and informative year. Your skin and hair look amazing.

Sabrina Paiement: Andrea, I love your videos! Always super informative but you're also hilarious! Cracked me up when you started talking about the blow dryer. Happy Holidays!

Lee: I have long hair and have learned to put it up in a bun out of the way WITHOUT a damaging clip. There are plenty of youtubers who will show you how to make a bun without using anything! It's a great trick to know because there are times when I am out and want to pt my hair up and I can w/o worrying if I have a clip with me.

Sunken Cathedral: The biolage hydra source shampoo has salicylic acid in it too it's great

Janette Butler: my new favorite, as in repeat purchase, is Lolavie. I have NEVER used such a wonderful product, actually 2 products. my hair is very fine and I truly can’t believe how great it turns out EVERY SINGLE TIME. I’m hoping for shampoo soon. I’m 68 and am never a repeat buyer, always wanting the latest and greatest. this is it.

sharotej: Those Aquis Turbans are great, and I thank you, Dr. Dray, for pointing us toward Marshall's on one of your recent shopping expeditions. I found one there for $10.

Betty Ng: I love how SEEN blow out cream is gentle on my scalp but unless I skip hair conditioner after shampoo, it weighs my hair down and it's impossible to keep my curls from the Dyson Airwrap. If I want curls while using SEEN I'd need to switch to the flat iron which inflict more damage on my hair.

TheWriterOnFire: I've started using seen this year too! I realized how sensitive I am to fragrances, they make me soooo itchy and flaky. I love that seen will send you free samples too. I just got the deeper conditioner and used it for the first time last night

Tquirkyt: Love hearing doc speak about literally anything…so smart and great info…..but as a total hair girl, I got a complete kick out of doc talking about the blow dryer….magical❣️

Cassandra Garza: I almost bought the dyson this year but luckily they sold out before I could actually buy it I’ve heard sometimes the older T3 model will show up at Costco at a significant discount so I might look out for a deal and ask my sister to get it for me lol I love the aquis hair turbans and will always buy them when I see them in the fabfitfun edit sales for gifts. They are usually $11 during the sale versus the original price of $30.

Christine Mallen: You're funny, charismatic, well spoken, AND you suggest unbelievably affordable products.. clicked on the SEEN product... a whopping $8. Love it. Thank you, Andrea!

R V Chand: I bought the irestore too. It’s been 8 months. I have regrown some of my hairline. But during a period of stress this year , I still had excessive shedding. Overall my hair is thicker. Length is similar to Dr Dray. I used the serum too

Anne Fitzgerald: Does anyone know how her mother is doing? Did I miss an update? I miss seeing her, especially for the holiday videos.

Evie Abercrombie: Honestly my personal favorite low poo and conditioner is Shea Moisture Power Greens. It's heaven for wavy and curly hair!

Allison Ayers: That Biolage Conditioning Balm is one of my holy grail products! Absolutely love it

Kelsey Keenan: Omg perfect timing; I was looking for some new hair products. Will definitely give the recommended shampoo and conditioner a try!!

Brett Berry: Your hair is so pretty. I love when we can see your wave pattern! It's very presentable natural or blown dry. I always say my hair is presentable and professional however I choose to wear it because I'm professional and take pride in my appearance.

Gio Aprile: if you're looking for a nice leave in, I absolutely love Curlsmiths air dry cream! I have wavy/curly thick hair and I can use it on its own for some manageability/texture and leaves my hair nice and soft. I use like a pea sized amount on each side. works great.

Malina Damjanovic: Good Monday morning everyone! I use the Biolage hair balm and love it. Thanks for the great information.

Harlow: I gotta say, I was given a Dyson hairdryer last year for Christmas, and I Love it.

LINDSEY ADAMS: I purchased the iRestore on your recommendation nearly 2 years ago. Stress, kindey cancer surgery, life changes, etc. caused telogen effluviam flares up at various times. This helped. First event was in the typical male pattern baldness on the side of forehead. Second event was more of my crown and front forehead. Each time I started regrowing baby hairs at a crazy rate. Have to trim my OG hair monthly. TY for promoting the helmet!

Watchamocalit: Oooh these SEEN products look really interesting for someone with curly hair whose hair does not like silicones!! Thanks for the rec

Vicki Zeimen: I think $250 is a crazy price for a T3 hairdryer, Dyson's prices are laughable as well. It's interesting there's a brand of shampoo that addresses acne in it's marketing. Years ago, I had horrible acne and I switched to Biology shampoo and the acne got so much better that I didn't switch from Biology for like 25 years. About a month ago, I decided to try a drugstore volumizing shampoo by Pantene and my face started breaking out. I'm 58 so this was a total shock. I'm now back on Biologe and my skin is looking good again. What's in those shampoos that Biology doesn't have or visa versa. It's crazy!!!

Annie H.: I thought for a second “Dr.dray is also doing vlogmas.!” but then I remembered you always upload everyday.. Happy holidays !

Christine Keleher: I'm loving ❤ these best of videos good job Dr.Dray

Laura A: Hi Dr. Dray, Do you have an affordable drugstore recommendation similar to the biolage hair balm you mentioned? Thank you! :)

Mary Lawman: Your hair is gorgeous and I appreciate you sharing your favorite hair products. I love trying new shampoos, conditioners and hair masks so this will come in handy. Happy Monday! I hope you have a relaxing evening.

Ilaria Rigoni: I am currently loving the herbal essences aloe and hemp shampoo and conditioner because it washes without irritating my scalp. I remember that there was a L’Oreal shampoo that contained salicylic acid and you used to like it, but sadly I can’t find it in the uk. I love aquis towels too, they are totally worth it!

Joseph Triolet: I hope Andrea sees this. I have an embarassing problem where I have this (I believe) fungal problem on one of the lines on my neck. I started moisturizing my neck at night because here in Canada and being on Tretinoin, my neck was very dry (even though I don't actually apply it to my neck). I don't know what to do. I need to put moisturizer on my neck due to dryness and sunscreen during the day, but this fungal problem is painful and not pleasant to look at and it's very agitating.

Carlos: Thanks Dr. Dre! Can you make some recommendations on products to use in conjunction with Fraxel? Will be getting it later this week!

Ali PG: Merry Christmas dear Dr. Dray! ❤️❤️Thank you for sharing so much valuable information with us! I have learnt so much from listening to your videos and I’m religious about putting sunscreen on my face every day.

Cathy: Thank you Dr. Dray for this great video on hair care. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year! ♥️♥️

Diane Vitale: Just found Sally's GVP product line has a dupe for Biolage conditioning balm for only $10.99 16oz or 2/12.99. Ingredients are practically the same. There is also a dupe for Chi Silk Infusion which many say is great. I WISH I knew this when I was in Sally's just 2 days ago, for my hair really needs the Biolage.

Sebum Post Mortem: As a long haired person with a braid as thick as my forearm wich reaches my calves, it took me years to understand that our scalp works and needs the same than our face skin barrier. I went through a "rehab" because I suffered actual anxiety if I didn' t xampoo every day but after a while, my scalp rebalanced itself and told me _thank you_ with a paradox: The less shampooing frequency, the more it lasts clean The more you shampoo, the faster it becomes greasy (the shamLOOP) It does not work for everybody, but definitely, it does for a lot of people if they give it a chance. It is worth level: RETINIZATION ✨ Grandma' s wisdom

Lee: Try The Shark hairdryer. It doesn't damage your hair and dries it quickly. It's like the Dyson only the price is MUCH lower than Dyson I paid $179.00 and am loving it!

harpers1niter: No Olaplex? Olaplex is kick ass. All of their product line is to die for.

Mandeep Bharaj: Oh bless, Dr Dray describing the hair dryer has me in giggles - they all have those buttons. I have longish hair and blow dry it once per week. Luckily my hair look nice without.

Michelle Brooks: good information, thanks. I’m curious to know what you think of Pantene shampoo and conditioner. I have curly hair and Pantene seems to tame the frizz and makes it shiny but I heard it’s not good for your hair but I don’t know why.

Kita: The dyson is life changing. I have curly hair and keep it curly with hair cream etc. I would of never bought a blow dryer not even for 50 dollars! But I started buying some that were expensive and we’re not good. Then I got the dyson on sale and was going to return if I didn’t like it, but it is life changing. I don’t buy expensive stuff , I’m fairly thrifty. But I would but the dyson blow drier over and over again. It’s the best blow drier for curly hair, at least.

mi sha: i am currently using the body shop ginger shampoo but it makes my hair really frizzy‍i usually shampoo every week

Harry Leasure: Have you tried the Neutrogena hydro boost hair mask? I've purchased around 4 jars now, it's my favorite hair mask

Mercedes Orozco: I’m the same with the hair dryer. I stopped a long time ago. I’m considering getting another one to combat the frizz

Мария Чехова: There are so many scalp scraps on the market these days, would be great to know more about them

Vida: If you have thick hair, you can barely get those gimme hair ties around 3 times, but they do loosen up after a few months. But that initial period is a little painful

Donna Willis: Is there anything on the market that is a little more more economically friendly than the I restore helmet?

Anthony Marshall: I LOVE LOVE LOVE MATRIX HYDRA SOURCE. I haven't tried the new formula with oil. I try to avoid them for my kinky curly 3c-4a hair.

Effnine66: I've recently fallen in love with tea so I'm going to have to try them.

Daydream: Skincare question: Can i use azelaic acid in The morning with vitamin C serum and differin gel (retinoid/retinol) in The evening? And i also use a salicylic acid mask once a week

Vicky OH: Ohh my dear Dr, different blow dryers do make a difference with frizz, manageability, shine, protection, and easy to work with.

Tiffany Colon: You should try “the perfect” hair towel on Amazon

Nada B: Drying our hair with a dryer has the added benefit of being a workout for the arms at least. I have lightened hair (which is naturally straight), so try to avoid using heatstyling. I do use dry shampoo on the roots for lift and for next day oilyness. Everyone says I should appreciate having dead straight hair...but what is one person's straight is another person's flat! I think I may try using silky scrunchies in my hair at night to give my hair some body/waves. I prevent tangling using a silk pillowcase, as my hair is below my shoulders now. I don't want to wake up like Beetlejuice! ‍♀️❤

Adam D.: I have learned a lot from your videos on hair loss. Can you do a video on the effectiveness of saw palmetto for androgenetic male pattern hair loss?

MrAnitaChiquita: I would love for you to test out olaplex!

Hidata Kyomi/白虎/Byakko: Hello Dr Dray! I was wondering if you could give advices about skincare and haircare when you live in a tropical climat Mostly when it comes to the skin

Betzaida Flores: Can you do a review or express your opinion on the Naturelab Tokyo products? They claim to use botanical stem cells in their products but i can't find any studies on how they benefit the hair. I'd like to hear a dermatologist perspective on the ingredients

frazee1: not shampoo related to video but what brand and style eyeglasses did u have in last video i absolutely loved them and want same ones

Bonnie W: Is the Function of Beauty shampoo and conditioner also good even if there is some fragrance in it? I need a little fragrance! Thank you!

Sable 711: I can't recall but if anyone has used the irestore does it cause an unusual amount of shedding after the first few uses?

Jessi Russell: Do you use the garnier refresh shampoo daily or on a weekly basis?

Stephen: I've been wearing bandanas to keep my hair out of my face I love them

Shar Roon: I would love to see a review of phytodefrissant by phyto.

Marium Khan: Would you please share a hair care routine fit for people suffering from the alopecia areta?

lizzzarduh: So I always wondered how people use hair masks….do you apply it in the shower and leave it on for 15 min or whatever while still in the shower? Or do you get out and just hang out in your towel and then get back in to rinse it out? Rinse out in the sink? Do you clip your hair back while you have the mask in? Anyone please chime in and explain how you do it!!! Thanks !

Fatina K: Dr Dray Can you please review Hair Loss serums such as Ordinary Hair Growth Serum & Platur 39 Phyto Caffeine Tonic.

Kathleen Carr: Has anyone tried the Pantene pure clean and clarify shampoo? I think it’s a newish fragrance free option

Mercedes Orozco: Do you recommend any of the purple shampoos? I have been trying them to help the Gray in my hair look better. Thank you!

Rosann Supino: Why only 2 hair products mentioned? I would have liked to have heard about more shampoos, conditioners, etc.

Leah Staverman: Hi Dr. Dray. Would you be so kind to talk about how people with thyroid issues can take care of their skin since the hormones are all over e place? I do see a dermatologist every six months however recently being diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and don’t go to the dermatologist until 4 January I am just looking to see if you can talk about what are good products to use on skins and to help combat the hormones leading to more breakouts, oiliness, etc. That would be wonderful. Thank you!

Stephen: The garnier shampoo is very affordable ill have to try it !

LuLu Pro: A sad, difficult video to watch when you've lost 60% of your hair and the best doctors don't know why plus, you got APKH and there's no treatment

אביטל רווהAvital: Whats best for oyle scalp and dry roots?

Danielle Gagnon: Happy Monday! Very good subject and products!

illy 123: Can you consider doing a video on childhood Chickenpox advice and products to use for children during recovery. And Rosehip oil if that helps with the healing process of Chickenpox?

noname 7: Hi doc! Is lanolin commedogenic in sulfur ointments?

shasta star: yea this is exciting I was looking at Biolage hydrasource wondering should I or not try it out. T Y now most definitely I am getting it.

Lori Rapp: I know you don’t usually answer very many questions on here in the comment section but I hope somebody can answer this one for me! I’m 64 and I have become extremely sensitive to the smells in hair conditioner and hair masks. The ones from Hask are so strong after my hair dries the smell actually ends up making me sick. Could you please give me some recommendations for some hair masks that are fragrance free. Preferably ones that I can buy at the store. For some reason target only carries Function of Beauty scented products.

Darshana Shah: Happy Holidays Dr Dray!⛄☕

Reed Berger-Fleishman: Happy second Monday dr dray and peeps ❤️ ☺️

Nancy Green: Do you recommend Dr. Bronner‘s for hair shampoo?
