They'Re called bunchems plastic toys that stick together, but they also stick to hair kids love them. The popular toy called bunchems they're little colorful balls that stick together like velcro and can be used to build all kinds of things, but they also stick to hair. This is what we're dealing with moms across the country are posting videos of the balls all tangled up in their kids hair. This is a mess. Some parents get so desperate. They whip out scissors lisa hosel's, six-year-old daughter, abigail had 150 of the bunchems matted into her hair after her twin brother dumped a bucket over her head. I looked at her hair and i was in absolute disbelief. I think i had like an out of body experience. There is a simple way to remove them and not with scissors. All you need is vegetable oil, hair, conditioner and some parents swear by mineral oil, then take a little bit. Okay! Okay! Now rub it in near where the pesky bunjums got stuck okay, carefully, brush and then still not so easy, but there you go. It took lisa 20 hours to get all 150 bunchems out. She'S my hero, the buncham's packaging, does say, keep away from hair. You

Anita Kaushal: Her brother must be so proud of what he did as he was waving and smiling on camera

Shushu: She took 20 hrs to remove them. My mom,who is African, shaved my whole head when a small piece of gum got stuck in it. I felt the sweetness of the wind blowing across my head for the first time . Funny thing is I was happy as hell because now I get to have my head like my brothers

Boodiddleydum9!27 Dumdiddley: I like that the reporter put about 7 of them in her hair even though she only needed one to demonstrate her little trick

Evett C: I give the mother huge props for spending 20hrs getting them out. My mother would of been reaching for the shears within 20 seconds of seeing me like that.

Gachaaddiction: Other moms: *spends hours trying to get the toys out* My mom to my sisters: *damn we gotta go bald*

Macey Taylor: She trusted the process so much that she put them in her own hair-

sylverlockss: The Packaging: "Keep Away From Hair" The Kid: I'm Gonna End This Man's Whole Career

Joy Lastname: Having Nigerian parents, this would have been a sure trip to the barbershop.

Can’t Say: Try putting cooking oil in her hair outside preferably. Once her hair is soaked with oil u can probably get them out relatively easily

Elaph: I had this actually happen to me. My brother decided to put some bunchems in my hair to see if it sticks. I tried to take them off but then he put more in my hair because he thought it was funny.. 7 hours of pain to remove 76 bunchems.

Olocip Picolo: As someone who owns a horse, this is hilariously relatable

Dave Leahy: Lol that happened to me a few years ago it was so painful. My older brother thought it was funny to throw all of the in my hair because they would stick so easily. I also thought it was funny and fun until I realized that they were not coming out and that there was so many knots in my hair

Nadia Galactica: As soon as I came to from passing out, the first thing I would’ve reached for would’ve been the vegetable oil. I swear, kids never fail to come up with impossible scenarios for parents or ER nurses and doctors to figure out.

Aesthetic Girl: She's my hero! Me: *so wholesome*

Hope Lindquist: Can we just congratulate this mom for keeping her anger inside with the little boy after causing all this

Savannah Tripped: I love the demonstration by just placing them on the hair, you gotta wrap that up like them kids did

Bristi Sarkar: There is a small plant that produces the exact type of clingy thingy. We used to have a lot of fun with those in school by putting them on each others hair. Good old lovely days.

William Papadopoulos: The little boy got lucky that mom didn’t stick a few of those in his hair just to teach him what those little hair pullers FEEL like! LOL

Lee !: I remember these I didnt play with these for a long time because they kept on getting stuck in my hair (and I have black curly hair so everything gets stuck in it)

😂 LMFAO😂: "Bunchem packaging says keep away from hair." Gotta be her favourite line ever

Retro_Wolf: LOL!!! This reminds me of what happened to me. When I was 7-8 or so, I had gotten a ton of bunchems for christmas. I loved them and I always kept them in a ball. One time I had let my little sister play with them and then she had left them on my pillow so I would see them and put them up... but I was distracted, so when it was time for bed, I turned around and layed my head right on top of them... that was a NIGHTMARE!!! But she didn't mean to and she did that with every other toy she borrowed. I was still a little upset but I didn't have to lose any hair!! It did take multiple hours and most of the the night

Luv Bug: The inventor of these toys was probably like FINALLY A TOTALLY SAFE TOY FOR KIDS TO ENJOY

MoonyGacha 808: as somebody who had a bag dumped on my head, my mom used the 2$ brush and was just slamming untill you could rip them out. all I knew was pain and I had to wear a hat for a few months

Basha M: The nostalgia is unreal- This happened to me when I was younger so I had to chop most of my hair off. Good times.

Corinne Roper: My kid would regret this so much. It’s unacceptable.

Maria Navarro: Lol I swear this little boy is going to be a hair dresser one day! He is just so happy about his sister attack lol ‍♂️‍♀️

Abbey Bacon: This happened to me when I was little too! We threw them out after lol

Nay Nay: I....don’t seem to understand how the brother can be waving his hands so happy. Clearly his mom didn’t give him the yelling or spanking of the life time. If that were me or my brothers then we’d be so ashamed. Some people just don’t know how to discipline their children.

Nedj Borsali: Looks like a Corona hair style

Zoritsa Nepenthe: My niece put a bunch on her head a few years ago. Her mother was not pleased and made it known by pulling on the toys and making her daughter cry. I told her I’d try, took my time and used products that helped. My niece thanked me profusely.

Cream the Rabbit: I had these when i was younger and they always got stuck in my hair LOL Once my mom actually had to get them out because i had like half a bag full in there.

wxlløw: When these were first popular my cousin got some and we all knew they could get stuck in hair. When we were playing with them, their little sister decided it would be a good idea to dumb the bucket of them on her head. That wasn’t fun for her parents.

Qwébek: Huge respect for the twin brother

Eli.muskett: “The packaging does say keep away from hair” Children : n o

Rome: Man as matted as some of those kids were, I don’t think even the oil and conditioner would work.

Shanislost ASMR: If my brother did that to me, he would have never been seen again

mikeala lee: I love that she looks like a teen from the front and a 40 year old from the back.

DipN2it Creations: I’m glad they knew oil and conditioner would work✅ Or I would be wearing a new trend until they fell out or grew off my scalp My dad would’ve lied and said it’s cute lol

Part Laze: Barber: “ So what you looking today” Customer: *coughs* Barber: “Say no less”

B Humphries: I grew up with a little brother. He put a lot of things in my hair when we were little. Duct tape, gum, a race car that took off forward when you pulled it backwards, and peanut butter....just to name a few. He also ate all my chapstick when he was little too!

| Videos for cat lovers |: Thank god I didn’t know this toy when I was a kid!

not_kim_ 2u: I remember when I was little when this first came out I wanted to be funny and I put the whole stack in my hair. Why don’t I get to be on the news:(

EvanPlays: It's just like the time i stuck gum in my hair.. Ah, the good old days.

vannzzie: Reporter: she spent 20 hour getting them out of her hair My mom: just shave the damn head

Dragon420: It's a child's toy that you have to keep away from your hair. What could possibly go wrong?

Laura Gieger: the whole comment section talks as if these things have been around for a while and yet I never heard of them in all of my life. maybe it's because I'm European idk but jesus what the hell-- I'd cry if these got stuck in my hair

Karla Duncan: Oh my! Out of body experience! Comical and cute!

Veronica: That was a moment where I would have to walk away, take a deep breath and chug a glass of wine before approaching the situation lol

E: I loved these when I was a kid, but i got a whole bunch in my hair TWICE. T W I C E.

Catherine Rabito: I remember getting those things stuck in my hair

Amy Hodgins: You can get these naturally with a simple walk through the woods. My dog used to get them all over. Pricker bushes I think we used to call them? Lol

Sabia Said so: My brother did that to me when we were kids only they were sandspurs. I climbed up the side of the couch he fell asleep on & dropped a clothes iron on his face for revenge. Good times.

Khadeja J: girl: buys bunchims her brother: and i took that personally

Melanie Baxter: That was a whole lot more than her twin brother "dumped a full box on her head"!

Meg: hats off to the reporter who willingly put those demon balls in her hair to demonstrate. now THAT is true commitment to investigative journalism u gotta respect

bunny: i remember wanting these a while ago and my mum always said no because they would go in my hair, i see why she said that now.

•Floof•: This actually happened to one on my dolls when I was younger and my mom threw them all away before they got into my own hair

FlowerryBlossoms: When they say "You can bunch ANYTHING!" they really meant that.

Alessia: They weren’t lying when they say “ they could stick to anything!”

Lighting the Dark Remote Viewing: Solution for most: Use oil. Smartest Solution: Don't let your kids play with bunchems!

Jxtt: It's not the company's fault it happened, the kids did that to themselves.

Hani Kazuha: The brother is literally my brother. He would definitely dumped a whole bucket of bunch'ems on my head, and then laughing the whole time I'm struggling to get it out of my hair. No remorse whatsoever, even if mom made him apologize to me

Dio Nathan: If it was me, I'd be bald for sure.. my parents don't have that kind of patience

Aleksandra: As a woman with twin brother Im realy happy we didn’t had toys like this growing up couse I would be bold my whole damn childhood.

Rich Osthoff: This isn't the 1980s anymore. Wahl clippers would've been the solution when I was a kid!

Y S: I remember my brother sticking gum into my hair when we were kids

paisley_playz: Omg I got like 3 or 4 of these stuck in my hair it was so hard to get out

Lemo Anita: My parents wouldn’t waste time like that. They’d pay for the cheapest haircut down the street.

Jennifer Snyder: This happened to my daughter- a true nightmare. Threw away immediately.

Allison Hart: This is definitely something I would have done at 6. I used to go to the store with my mom and bring string with me, then I would go to a different aisle and I would tie the string across the bottom of the aisle hoping people would trip. I also used to spill water trying to make people trip. I would steal my mom's and cousin's makeup, and use it all over my face and body and use up all the makeup. One time I tried to get off all the gunk on my tongue with a shaving razor. Spoiler, it didn't work. So yeah, this would definitely be me, I was an actual devil spawn child.

trish kidwell: That's Hilarious! Mom had an out of body experience and I would too.

Romina Lasagna: How did they get in every layer of her hair by just “dumping” them on her head?

Mary Martin: Her brother is waving like “yea I did that”

•localbear•: Me and my best friend always put this in our hair- lol.

Jessica Schlienz: I have never seen these before but they honestly look like fun lol

Common Sense Revolution: They really should be held accountable for making this toy.

Manuel J. Herrera: Well done adding the last sentence. First, it make me chuckle. Second, it will avoid stupid people from trying to ban them from stores.

brook: this is why my mom didn’t get my sister these for Christmas-

Penny Apricot: This happend to me when i was 6 and my hair is still tangled to this day.

Rose D: If I had 150 of these in my hair, I would just want to get my head shaved. Forget the 20 hours. I would wear a hat, but otherwise be fine.

Wanny: I used gum to wrap my cousin's hair when I was little. My daughter had a toy train stuck on her hair when she was 3. Classic incidents for kids.

Susse Thrane: Looks like the things my dogs get into there coat in nature during the autumn.

veronica: the kids hair: bunchems completely covered with hair demonstration: gently placed in hair

JustSmile&HaveFun: Yep this happened to my girl when they first came out in shops, my ex had to get them all out by hand and brush and without no product, I wanted to shave her hair off

Kaylee: It has happened to me, so I recommend DONT let your child that has long hair have them but if maybe a friend has them don't let them play with then around long hair put it in a bun where it is most not likely to happen.

amy foti: OMG! This happened to me! My sister threw them in my hair and it got stuck! Took 1 hour to get out! *it hurt so bad+

Goth Qloss: I had 6 stuck in mine cause they where glow in the dark and they looked cool xD

poop: OH MY GOD I REMEMBER THESE THINGS I REMEMBER BUYING THEM ON A SCHOOL TRIP!!

Niki Malia: I remember when I was younger I put some in my little sister's hair very lightly so they wouldn't get stuck and as I was taking them off of her perfectly fine my mom caught me and threw them away lol
