Dyson, what That is so much smoother.. This is why Dyson are the masters of hair dryers., I'm sorry, but they are. Welcome back to Beauty Lab at Home, where we've been busy testing the latest skincare, haircare and makeup.. So make sure you subscribe. So you don't miss any episodes. This week, we're testing the Dyson Flyaway Attachment.. I know I say this every time, but on this occasion this is the most excited. I'Ve been to test something hair-wise., I'm such a hair person.. So when it's like new innovation in hair, it just gets me buzzin'.. I'Ve only had one coffee today., It's hard not to be excited about Dyson, hair product. Isn'T it I mean they always like bring their A game.. So I'm expecting pretty great things.. I'Ve just been nerding out on the videos about the engineering of this attachment which goes onto the Dyson Supersonic, Hair Dryer.. So obviously the Dyson hair dryer isn't new.. It'S been around for a while.. I think it's 299 pounds. So it's also not cheap., But it's very well known and loved.. What'S new, is this thing.? Basically at Dyson they decided that they wanted to create some sort of flyaway-smoothing scenario to make what is already an incredible hair, dryer, even better.. It uses the effect and you attach it to your hair dryer, your Supersonic Hair Dryer from Dyson and the air is pushed through this bit to push down flyaways. It's the same effect, that's used in the Airwraps.. If you love the Airwrap you might like this.. This is just one of many attachments that you can attach to your Dyson hair dryer. And you can buy the Dyson with this included in the package or you can buy it alone. If you already have a Supersonic and it's £30.. Obviously I already have quite straight hair, but I do get quite a lot of static and frizzy bits. And it never tends to just sit nice.. So I'm quite intrigued to see how this works. Flyaways isn't something that I'm ever really too bothered by.. My hair doesn't really get static because it's quite thick., However, what I do have is quite a lot of like puff, because my roots are like it's natural and I can't really ever get to the roots with a straightener. I do have this kind of like puffiness at the top., So I just kind of want to see it can kind of like, even if I just do that, let's see how well it kind of pushes that down and creates more of a sleek. Like effect a the top., I'm very excited to see what happens with my hair, because it's got a bit of frizz going on. It'S got some damage and I have a lot of different length. Hairs, too., But let's put it to the test.. Let'S see if it can take this hot mess and turn it into sleek, gorgeous flyaway-free hair., All right, first things. First, let's turn it on.. This clips, on., That's satisfying.! It'S suggested that you use a high heat for thicker, coarser hair, but the finer, your hair, the cooler the heat. You should go for and use it on a high-speed setting.. So I'm going to use this on the lowest heat and the lowest temperature. Just because my hair has already had quite a bit of heat on it, where I straightened it., So I did read that you're supposed to use this on dry hair.. So obviously you would blow dry it as usual, with your hair dryer, and then you click this. On as a final finishing step to kind of smooth it - and I guess, knock out any of those flyaways. According to the instructions, you kind of attach it like this for the front of your head and you hold it to your head and wait for the hair To be sort of sucked in and then once it has, you bring it down. High setting number 2 heat. Oo. It just kind of captures the hair, that's so cool.! You just saw that right. It'S so soft. Dyson what It looks like it's been blow dried and straightened.. It looks a little bit smoother a little bit shinier.. So let's try the other side.. This is why Dyson are the masters of hairdryers., I'm sorry, but they are. I'm going to again section this area and just see if I can really get some of this frizz underneath. Look at that.. That is so much smoother.. That'S amazin'.! I love that.. Look! How shiny that is. That really did just flatten that. Wow., I'm so impressed. Dry hair. This was all dry hair.. Look at the top.! Look how smooth it is. There's like no static.. My final thoughts are. I am amazed by this technology.. I would say this is great for when you aren't necessarily looking for a particular shape of hair, but you've just woken up and you've got basically a bad hair day going on and you want to smooth it out.. You know: we've got like all those flyaways gone. All the static and frizz gone., It's just like shiny glossy., It looks like I've run my straighteners over it., But I haven't. It was just lukewarm air which is just amazing.. It'S time-saving. It'S clever! It'S really fun. To use it's satisfying.! I am just literally obsessed that I'm going to be using this a lot I think. And for £30. It'S revolutionising your Supersonic.. It does take a little bit of getting used to.. I definitely accidentally just turned it the wrong way round a couple of times and then blew my hair everywhere, which obviously isn't ideal if you're trying to smooth the hair.. But that being said once you get the hang of it and it really didn't take that long to get the hang of it. It'S actually really cool. And I definitely notice quite a big difference.. It smoothed my hair. It'S kind of tamed those like frizzy kind of flyaways that I had before and just left it looking really like kind of like I've used straighteners, even though I haven't. So I'm quite impressed., And I imagine as well there's probably less damage. Clever.. It'S just clever. Totally impressive that if you already have a Supersonic £30 for this attachment to use when you've got static. And if you haven't a Supersonic already. This now comes with this two just normal airflow attachments, an Afro pick a diffuser. Yeah. It is expensive, but like that's a lot of gear that you get for your buck..
