This is Gwen from hairbow supplies, etc. Thank you for joining us for another edition of making hair bows. Today we are going to be making a basic Christmas hair bow, and I promise I'm going to use these this time. Last time I just had some extra supplies and I decided not to use them so this time we are going to use these glittery red bows. I also have a really cute Christmas rhinestone button. We'Ve carried these all of these supplies in our shop, and this is a line delegator clip. I have three pieces of girl grain ribbon. This piece is 7/8 inch wide and this is 23. No excuse me this piece is 26 inches long. I have two pieces of 7/8 inch ribbon. This is 26 inches long and these are for my ribbon: spikes, there's 10 of them and they're six and a quarter inches long you're also going to need hairspray needle and thread hot glue, scissors lighter and that's it. So let's go ahead and get started you so we're going to show you how to make a po textile hair bow. You take your ribbon and you bring it from the right to the left. Make sure that it's on an angle and bring your ribbon from the left to the right and make sure that the loops are even take your ribbon and turn it grab your ribbon and bring it under. And it's going to not be right on top. But just a little bit overlapping make sure your loops right here are even then take your bottom piece and bring it up and to the left. Just like that turn it back around. Take your you're going to hold your loops up like this, to make sure that they're, even and then pull them up together and make sure that they're even turn your hair bow back, get your needle and thread and push it through the center of your bow and Bring it back through, take your needle and put it through the loop. Take your thread and wrap it around your hero. A couple times: grab your hair, bow and turn it back. Take your thread and pull and then wrap the thread back around your hair bow a couple more times turn your bow grab your needle push it through the back and one more time get your scissors and cut pull out. Your hair bow a little bit. Make sure that your bow is the shape that you'd like then you get your piece of paper and then we are going to just go ahead and spray that bow and the shape that we want it. Just your hair spray and spray that and then just wait. A few minutes, or if you'd like to speed it up, just put it underneath the hairdryer and then hold your loops while you let that hair dry, okay, real quick one or two of you wanted to ask me how we put our make my loop. How I do every time in my needle and thread what I do is I take a long piece of thread and I take the ends and I match them up together, get the ends real wet. Now then, you take your needle and put those two ends through your needle. So you've got your two pieces that you thread it through the needle just like this. Now you pull it down about half way and then you leave your little loopy loop here on the bottom. This is so that you don't have to sit here and tie a knot at the very end every time, and it also makes your thread a little bit more strong because it's double threaded so again just leave your thread just about 3/4 of the way down when You'Re working on your hair bow: okay, our hair bows are dry and they are ready to be put together. So, let's start with our ribbon spikes and we're just going to get some hot glue put that in the center and then get your largest hair bow and put that right in the center. Get some more hot glue and put your next hair bow right in the middle. Okay, get your rhinestone button, and these are just a plastic shank on the back. So we'll just cut that off put some glue on your button and carefully turn that over without burning yourself and put that right in the center. Next, we're going to get our beautiful red glitter bows and put some glue on the inside of those, and this adhere that to the side of your hair, bow some more glue and then put that to the side of your hair bell again, alright. Lastly, we'll turn our hair bit over and get your lined alligator clip. So that's how to make a more basic Christmas hair bow. Thank you so much for joining us and please be sure to subscribe to our Channel, have a great day.
