Huge Dollar Tree Haul | Winter, Christmas, Hair Accessories, Work Supplies & Food | October 10, 2020

Hi honeys - it's michelle, i'm here today to do a huge dollar tree haul. I'M pretty excited about what i got. What else is new lately? The dollar tree just never ceases to amaze me. They just keep coming up with these wonderful things to get. I can't believe so much of what i find only cost a dollar i'm going to start with the cleaning products because they're the closest to me i'm leaving this in the bag because it's, i guess the top isn't on very well. But i got this uh totally awesome floor, cleaner and lavender, and it's going into a spray bottle anyway. So it's really not a big deal. That'S what i like to do. I like to put um floor cleaner in a spray bottle and just kind of take the mop and move it over. As i spray i just find it's easier than using a bucket. I don't know, do you do that? Is it just me and i used to use this - i used to have a job uh years ago, where i did a lot of cleaning, and this is what i bought for. That place was um. The awesome lavender scented floor cleaner and it always smelled so nice and clean. So i was just excited to see that today i thought that would be really nice to um. Have that nice clean scent in my home and i've been using um vinegar for uh. I like to clean with it i like to clean, you, know, counters or usually i'll use apple, cider, vinegar, but when i do dishes in the dishwasher, i make my own dish detergent and i use white vinegar, and i saw this today and i thought i mean It looks like it's probably for looking at the front. It says la's totally awesome, streak-free, cleaning, vinegar, it's a much bigger bottle than the white vinegar i get in the food aisle at the dollar tree and what it says on here is that you can use it in the bathroom in the kitchen on appliances around the Household, so on and so forth, so i thought you know i'm going to go ahead and try this with my dish. Stuff. All that i do is, i use vinegar. I dilute it with water and put a little soap in there. So i think this should be fine, we'll find out - or i might just use it for other cleaning purposes, but i thought this was really neat. I thought it was worth a try. It'S 64 fluid ounces, nice and big. I don't know if i told you the other one here, uh 48 ounces and this one you also, i think you do dilute this. If i remember correctly yeah you do dilute it, so this will last forever and then the other cleaning product i got is just the good original blue dawn. I like to use this when i'm soaking pots and pans. I just find that it gets the grease off. Really well - and this is the soap that i use in the dishwasher as well, just a tiny bit with a bunch of water and vinegar. As many of you know, my sister-in-law just had a baby, and i saw this and i just thought it's kind of perfect. It'S art and music sensory wonderland for babies. It says six months to four years and i thought i mean it'll either work or it won't, but for a dollar, why not find out? I just thought that was really kind of neat since it was developed by experts. It'S an hour and 49 minutes long. I found this dot organizer folder file, folder, and i thought it was really neat. It'S got these little tabs here to make it easy to open, and then, when you open it - and it comes with a little thing where you can put what each tab is for, but each tab has a little pocket the front and the back of the tab And it's got four tabs in it and i thought i don't know what i'm using it for, but i like it i'm sure i'll figure, something out, probably use it for work. So you can see what the tabs say when it's closed. I just thought that was really cool or i might use it now that i've been what they call monetized on youtube. Maybe i'll use this for my youtube i'll figure it out it's one of those things, though you see you know if you don't buy it, you're gon na regret not buying it, and you won't be able to find it. If you go back so just go ahead and get it and um figure out what it's for later and i've got these made envelopes in the larger letter size, but i wanted to get these smaller ones too, especially. Okay, we have a storage unit when i drop off a check, it's just to check in the envelope, so i kind of like these smaller envelopes for those or just a variety of other things. I, like the smaller envelopes - and i like that they have the name brand mead envelopes there. Now you can get the ones that have the little sticky thing that you pull off and a 40 count at the dollar tree or you can get the 80 count, and these are the ones with the the um part that you lick or put water on. I don't i find no matter what kind of envelope i use. I always end up putting tape on the outside anyway, just to make sure it stays closed. So i figured why not just get the 80 count and then put the tape on there, and these are also made in the usa, which is kind of nice. Then i got these little american scholar mini composition, books. Each book has 50 sheets in it and it's got three books in it and my dad actually mentioned that he likes to keep these in his pocket. So he can take notes, and i thought what marty i don't know. I don't even know where he is anyway. He keeps these in his pocket so that he can yell like in his back pocket so that he can take notes, and i thought you know. I want something like that for my purse, where i can put all the different addresses that i need, because i'm constantly maybe somewhere different than i usually am, i'm still learning vegas so i'll want to key the address into my phone to get directions, and i don't Always have the address handy, like maybe people's houses or that kind of thing so it'd be nice to have the addresses that i need around here in here. It would be nice to be able to just take notes of you know when, when the next doctor's appointment is or that kind of thing and then write it in my bigger book, when i get home, um or just anything else, sometimes brad and i like to Brainstorm, you know when we go to a diner and we want to write stuff down and all you have is a napkin. So i think this will really come in handy it'll be nice. If i ever start going to church again, i can take notes in it. I don't know that seems a little far off, but we'll see what happens. I found this. It says six sheets season's sticker book my plan my way. So this is a name brand item by three birds. It says binders and stationary aisle on the back um. So, let's open it up, see what it looks like because i just i thought this looks so pretty and the worst that could happen. Is i don't like it? Oh, okay. Well, this is pretty so it's stickers for your planner. I figured it was some kind of a planner sticker thing, but it's just hard when you can't open things up pretty cool right. I like that i'll be able to get use out of it, and then i got this cat days playing cards. How do you not get this when you see it? You know i love cats, i'm gon na. Oh, i'm opening up, i'm opening them up right now, so that you can see what they look like. I just love even the design on the box, which is so cute. This would be a great gift, for somebody should have bought more than one oh come on. They don't want to come out there. We go okay, you guys, here's the back of them. I mean i should have bought more than one of these, so i bet my mom would like these two. If i see him again i'll get her some so cute, so that's my new deck of cards. How fun is that, oh, my gosh and then i got um for when i'm reading or for my 500 recipe books. I got these little puppy, sticky tabs. So it's four different designs and each one has 25 sheets in it. Isn'T that cute just love it? I'Ve been having this issue um. Well, i've got a lot of issues, but one in particular that i've been trying to solve is in the bathroom in my medicine cabinet. I put all my serums and eye creams and stuff, and i have this storage bin thing. That'S shaped like this and they all fall down in there. I can't see: what's in there, it's hard to get them out. I have to just take the whole bin out and it's kind of a pain, because when i take the bin out, then everything falls out. It'S just this big drama fest every morning and every night, and i don't want to deal with anymore. I have enough drama in other parts of my life, so i feel like. I need to be able to enjoy uh moisturizing my face more in the morning and at night, so i got two different things and i'm going to try them both and see which ones work or maybe i'll use both of them. But i found these little storage containers and they are, it says they're made in the usa and i just feel like these could be used for so many things you could put candy in there like candy bars or something um. You could put pens or pencils or spoons. You know like if you have like those little spoons for coffee or something you could put those in there there's just so many different things. So i figured even if i don't end up using them in um my medicine cabinet i'll figure. Something else out. I could put makeup in there, so i did uh just real close by here. I had the hydrocortisone cream that i bought recently and uh. It'S kind of a similar shape to a lot of the face, creams and eye creams and stuff. So i wanted to see yeah see that to me, that's perfect! It'S standing up. I can see it that might really work well and then i also got this one and i could put it in there like that, and that should work well too, so we'll see which one ends up working the best. But i just like to that. I can take these down and clean them out easy and with this one i can see through it with this. It'S short enough to where i can see. Now i did oh, and this one has the no skid by the way in the bottom. I did go over to my medicine cabinet and try and they they both fit in there and the door still closes. So that should be nice. You know what else this would be good for. You could put like a your toothbrush and your toothpaste in there. It'S another idea: hi how's, my little girl. I shouldn't call her my little girl, she's, an old woman, now she's 12 years old, so she's geriatric to me. You'Re all you'll always be my little baby. She was eight weeks old when i adopted her. I have heard a lot of really good things about this: blistex lip medics and i'm really happy with it. Well, this is great, i'm sorry. I had to stop recording for a minute my phone rang and um, so i had. I ended up having to make an appointment uh with the person on the phone, so i was able to use one of these for the first time and then i've got a larger planner that i keep usually on my desk or on my coffee table to keep Track of what's coming up so it's kind of nice, i can just transfer things from here to there. It was nice to already use that so, as i was saying when she so rudely called, was i'm really happy with the vaseline that i've been using but uh? I heard this blistex lip medex was really good and i was looking at the back and it's got menthol in it. So it's the cooling kind and i thought oh. I think this will really be nice because when it gets cold out, i really like the cooling lip balm. So i'm gon na give this a try. Since it's starting to cool down um, i guess i'm having the same issue that a lot of people are when it starts cooling down, my lips get real dry and i keep biting my lip at night when i'm sleeping so i always have like a little gash Here and anyway, so i'm hoping that this will help heal it and keep my lips from getting too dry. So we'll see how that works. Now, speaking of cold weather, i got some fun little cold weather items. I couldn't help it. I got another pair of socks and, like i had said before, i like the the taller socks that i can push down. I just find they don't come off my feet as easily when i'm snuggling up with brad on the couch or walking around in the apartment or whatever, and i don't know what this is either. So tell me what you think this is i'm thinking it might be. A bear, it might be a kangaroo. I don't know. Let me know what you think this is but they're really soft and cute, and i like them. Then i found some gloves. I'Ve got two jackets. Now i've got a rain jacket, it's a if you watch my goodwill videos, it's that white one with the flowers on it. So i thought these gloves would be great to go with that and i'm probably not going to use these ones if they fit brad i'll i'll, just give them to him. Obviously, his hands are bigger than mine, though i don't know if they'll fit, but we'll see these kind of do stretch out a lot. So, but i thought this would be cute with the the rain slicker with the flowers on it. So cute this color and then my other jacket, for when it's a little bit colder out is gray, and so i thought - and these are real fuzzy and warm. So i thought this would be good for that, and i tried these on. These do fit me, but um. I didn't get him these because i think i don't think they'd fit his hands anyway, but they are really soft and they've got that fleece feel to them. So if you see these, they come in quite a few colors too. I recommend them and then brad likes to wear um, beanie hats in the winter and especially when we're out doing stuff or, if he's at a job site and he's got a black one. But you know why not have one in multiple colors right, so i got him a navy one and i got him a gray one and sorry about the little fuzzies on here from the socks um. But i thought this way: you know they're only a dollar, so we can just wash them whenever we need and um if they get worn, worn out on because he likes to wear them at work. If they get worn out um at work, no big deal, you can just throw them away, but here's the nice thing about these ones. They have fleece inside so that'll, be so warm on his head and his ears when he's out in the cold. So i think, oh never mind i was gon na put it on, but i have the thing on my in my hair, but it's just so warm and soft. I think he's really kind of like these so and they had these in navy gray and black. I got some more of this assured ibuprofen, it's comparable to motrin, which we really like motrin or advil here um in our home, and you get 40 tablets, 200 milligrams each for a dollar, and i think it's the same as anything else so really like it. I got a bunch of stuff for my hair today i found they have this salon. Selectives damage, repair, argan oil, hair treatment, and this is um like a deep conditioner for in the shower. You leave it in your hair for two or three minutes and then you rinse it out, but i thought this will be really good. I love argan oil on my hair, i'm really in love with salon selectives. Lately they have that leave-in conditioner that is to die for - and this is sulfate-free which is nice. I didn't want to smell it in the store, but i could smell it now. It'S a very pleasant, clean smell, but it's a very light scent, not overwhelming, like some other ones can be so that's nice, because it'll probably go with quite a few different shampoos. It'S kind of funny. I actually the woman next to me was looking at this and she said. Is this good and i said well, i don't know, but i said i know their leave-in conditioner is amazing and she said: where do you get it, and so i went and grabbed some for her and she ended up buying that too. She was so excited to have somebody tell her that something's good. You know before she bought it. So that's always fun talking to people just randomly in the store. I have been on the lookout for one of these and i found it one of those folding brush with mirrors i'll take it out, so i can show you it turns out. I don't like having a regular brush in my purse because it ends up getting caught on things and things other than my hair gets stuck in it, and it's just this whole drama that i don't need just like in my medicine cabinet. I want to be as drama-free as i can be um but yeah i kept finding like if we if we were out - and i used a straw somewhere and i threw the straw wrapper in my purse. It ended up entangled in my hair brush or that kind of stuff. So what this one is, it's just this little pod, it's my favorite color forest, green and then, when you open it, it's got a mirror in there, which is nice, because i don't have a mirror in my purse, and i keep wishing i had one when i Get something in my eye or whatever, and then you just push it up and it's got the little brush in there. So i think that'll be really nice to be able to use and not have to worry about it. Getting full of purse debris excited about that. I found these cute little hair clips. I love these colors. I'Ve got my green in here and the pink, and i was recently talking in one of my thrift videos about how this one shirt would be perfect with a banana clip and one of you said, try the dollar tree and i thought no way they have them. There, oh yeah, they do they've got three different color sets, but this is the one i liked because it's got more 80s colors in it like i was thinking this mint green would be perfect for uh the shirt that i got. So i'm excited you guys. Why not right? You only live once. I know banana clips probably aren't in it right now, but i don't care, i don't care. I just want to be me and i just want to have fun. So i'm just going to do my thing and if people don't like it, they don't have to look at me. Also. I have been finding that my hair elastics are on their last leg. I don't know what happened but they're all falling apart. At the same time, i must have bought them all at the same time, so i decided to get some new hair elastics and they had some name brand ones, which is great. They had eye candy, which is made in canada or i'm sorry made in vietnam and the brand is a canadian brand and they have these two different colors. They have the pink with the orange and the um kind of khaki color here, and then they have purple with pink and lilac and light pink. I thought these would be nice and then they had these 80s looking goody brand ones with the little beads on them, and i thought well this. This is perfect. You guys know i'm an 80s girl, so i'm excited about these, and then somebody was saying that they use the carabiner clips, which i still have one uh. I bought bought these a little while ago so that i could um have one on my uh key ring to put the the mailbox keys on it and to put my mace on it, and i have an extra one here and what somebody was saying is they Use the carabiner clips to keep their hair elastics on and that's how they keep them organized, so they just put them all on there and then they can just flip through and get the colors they want off, and i thought this is genius. So hopefully this is big enough for all of these. It might not be but i'll, try and see they do have larger clips at the dollar tree, so i can always buy the bigger ones if i need to and then i can store it in one of these or actually probably, where did it go? Probably the white one, because it's not so deep but that'll, be really nice or i could just hang it up i'll figure it out, and then i found another name brand product. I found flower, which is drew barrymore's brand. It'S lip suede matte velvet finish, and this one is life's a peach and i don't have any lipstick on. I just got back from the dollar tree. I had a mask on so i why why would i put lipstick or anything on? But now that i'm home? I can put this on and we can see what it looks like. Oh okay, i don't notice an odor to it, which is nice. Sometimes these things have like this strong perfume smell that i really don't like. What do you think that might be a little too peachy for me, tell me what you think i mean it feels fine. I just don't know how it looks if it's the right color, but i can always darken it up a little bit. So it's not really a big deal um and this one it's got down here. It'S got a little twisty, so you can there's more in there. It looks like it goes down to about here. That'S a good amount of product. What do you think of the color, though? Do you like it? If not i'll, just darken it up? It'S no big deal. Okay. What else, then, i got this look at that. Isn'T that cute it's got the mouse in the ball. Does it have catnip in it? I don't think it does so i'll probably have to spray it with catnip. Oh she's sleeping i was gon na, give it to zelda and see what she thought of it, but i don't want to wake her up, though she only gets about 20 hours of sleep. A day you know it's like pretty important that she get more sleep, so this is so cute, though, isn't it cute? I think they're gon na love. This oh martin's, awake, though he's looking at it like. What was that? Are you gon na go after it? Now he's more interested in the empty bags. Next to me, don't good! Don'T get up marty now marty's thinking about getting up on this cat tree, my sister's sleeping so and they don't both fit on there. I sometimes i think we need another cat tree for the other corner of the room or something i got this for brad for when he's at work, i thought - or even when he's traveling, i thought this is perfect for him. It'S earbuds with a case with one of those little carabiners on it and it's a plastic case. So if he's in a rainy wet area, he can store him in there. You know just even on his belt buckle or something and it's not gon na get wet. I just thought he'd really like that, so we'll see if he does or not, but it was in that section where they have um all the travel size products gosh my lips feel really dry with this stuff on i'm gon na try this new blistex see what I think it's like because it's the lip velvet i've noticed whenever anything's in matte color be prepared. You got to put lip gloss or lip balm or something with it, because it's always dry the velvet stuff. It looks pretty, but it doesn't feel good if you hear a bag moving around that's marty playing with the bag down there. So it looks like that wow it just got significantly darker outside. Oh, that is nice. It'S um kind of like carmex, but better, not as thick as carmex a little bit more oily. I like it and it's a little bit cooler than carmax. So so speaking of my husband brad, he just got back from a business trip and he was in an area where there was a lot of smoke. It was kind of close to some of the fires and he's been coughing a lot, and so i wanted to get him some cough drops and they had these mentholiptus flavor halls cough drops and so for a dollar. I was able to get a pack of 30, which i think is really good, and then i thought this might be good for him too, when he's traveling assorted citrus, but these are defense ones, so they have um. They have 150 percent of the daily recommended value of vitamin c, so this would be really good for his immune system. When he's traveling, i wanted to have him, give those a try and see what he thought and then i got these little placards things. These only come in a four pack. These are the ones that have. I don't know if you can see this, not really huh. Let me see if i can open one just to show you. So this is another name brand product and it's got this. No slip. Grip here and you take the top off and it looks like this - you see: oh yeah, there you go, it's got little bristles on it and it's really nice to get between the gums and you can bend this down or up. I don't want to use it right now, because i like to wash my hands before i use them, but these brushes, you can bend them up or down. It says the the bristles last for 10 days or more what i usually do after i use this i'll rinse it off in the sink and then pour a little bit of um mouthwash over it to kill any germs on there. But you can just get it in the gums and it's just this nice massage. It just feels good and i tend to have gum problems. So i don't know it's just kind of a nice way to stimulate the blood flow too in there, and this comes in a four pack, but these aren't cheap if you buy them at a drugstore. So four for a dollar is a really good deal. I still have christmas and i have food, so i'm gon na do christmas cause, even though i'm not ready for christmas, i'm not ready to decorate i'm ready to think about decorating. I'M ready to put it together in my head, make sure i have everything for every room to decorate. The first thing i saw today that i had to have was this, and this is a dollar tree brand, and i thought you know what i could get some scrapbooking paper and put it in here and make it look like a christmas tree put a star on The top or an angel or something then i saw these little presents, so i'm going to put them down along the bottom, and then i saw these. I thought i could hot glue them in there as ornaments, and i just thought this could be so much fun and it's something that i could put on my mantel or one of my bookcases or something i just thought it'd be so cute. So this will be one of my diy things that i ended up making for my christmas diy video, i'm gon na. Do this i'm going to do a wreath um, and i don't know if i'll do anything else or not, and then i found this little guy here. They also have snowmen, they have penguins and santas. I think maybe elves, but this is what i thought was cute and i thought that would be really cute on the mantel and then speaking of my mantle. I saw this and i just thought. Oh, my gosh. I love this, i'm i think it's for wine or something, but i want to put it on my mantel, i'm always looking for something tall to put on the mantel that add some height to it. I'Ve got these little um plain trees that i put on my mantel and stuff. So i thought i could even put one of these on top of it from this angle. That would be so cute right, fresh cut, trees and then have a tree on top of it. I mean you can't beat that so that's my plan is to have this sitting in the middle of the mantle with a tree on the top and then the other two trees. You know a little further out on the mantel. I'M excited i get all under my mantel every year, so i think this will be gorgeous and i don't think i'll put anything with it, but just in case you want to get this for a gift. It'S got a little plaid on the the bottom and then it says it's the most wonderful time of the year on both sides and then on the other two sides. It'S got the tree, and this is what the top looks like there you go, and then the inside looks like that beautiful box such a great gift box, too um, i'm running out of room to put stuff and i've seen a few people haul. These and i've been so jealous because i haven't seen them anywhere until today, the little village they're, calling it the cobblestone corners, miniatures village, so there's a church. There'S a house bless you that was marty's sneezing. He gets. Allergies, like i do, there's a general store and then an antique shop and brad, and i have been wanting a little village for a long time but they're so expensive and we want one that's a little bigger, especially after we get a house or something. But we're not in a rush we can. We can get that later. You know after we have the house and we know where we're going to put them and how much room we have and all that kind of stuff. But in the meantime this will be perfect and it's it's very little. These are my little. This antique shop is four and a half inches tall and three inches wide, so they're just little baby buildings and they're made out of plastic, which is kind of nice. So if i have them somewhere and marty wants to play with them, it's not going to kill them or if you have kids and they want to hold them and look at them, you have to worry about them, dropping them and shattering all over the place. Now it does say on the bottom that you can take the sticker off and put an led light in there, not a real candle. Obviously, if you did that it would melt, probably start a fire, but you can put an led candle in there and have it glowing and then they also had these little trees. So i want to get a set of those to go in my little village. Now they had, they had other stuff too. They had like people having a snowball fight, they had carolers, they had like a park bench and a little lamp post and stuff like that, but they weren't painted very well - and i know they're only a dollar but i'd rather get them on clearance at like michael's Or something and have them made a little bit better. So it's just kind of my thing, but i was so excited that i found this village because i've been wanting it for a little while i just saw them in a haul a week or two ago and then another haul a couple days ago, and i thought I have to have those um. I went ahead and got some of this velveeva velveeta cheese sauce. It'S always nice to have this on hand. That way, if i want to just throw something random together for dinner, i can just put it over the top. It'S always nice to have. I got more of this minced garlic. I bought it a while ago and i've already gone through the whole thing, and i love it. It'S just wonderful. I don't notice any difference between this and the way more expensive minced garlic that they have at the grocery store. So i'm going to keep getting that then i got these vegetable garden crackers and we'll see how they are. I just i love vegetable garden type crackers. So we'll see how they are and i'll let you know in a future video, hopefully they're as good as they look. Okay, i found out recently that i was out of basil, so i went ahead and got some one thing. I really like the spices they have at the dollar tree. I think they're pretty good quality actually and unless it's something that you really want to have like the perfect flavor for, like um herbs of herbs de provence, when you're making a turkey or something you know, it's got to be like just right other than that. The stuff they have at the dollar tree is just fine. I really don't notice a difference and i find at the grocery store if i were to buy basil. I'D probably get the froofy seven dollar one and wish i had just bought it at the dollar tree and you get a little bit more at the dollar tree too. This is .95 ounces, and just so you know, i don't think i mentioned it. This expires january of 2022. - oh, i don't think i mentioned that with the other stuff february of 2021. Uh march of 2022 april of 2021 definitely have some life in all of these for lunch every once in a while, i like to make what i call fake chick-fil-a sandwiches. What i do is i get chicken patties and i bake them, and then i put a little bit a little bit of mayonnaise on a hamburger bun or if we don't have any some bread, i'll sprinkle a little bit of seasoning on there and i'll melt. Some cheese on there and then i'll put pickles on there and we love them. They'Re, really good, so um that pampa brand that i like they have um some pickles at the dollar tree today, and these ones are bread and butter chips which i really like. The bread and butter chips on these sandwiches - normally i go for dill, but with these sandwiches in particular, this tastes better. I think i need to try this. I haven't tried this brand before uh, not their pickles anyway, and this expires in june of 2022 and then the last thing i got is bugles ranch, flavored chips, and these are best by may of 2021, but i can tell you these will not last that long. We'Re actually going to use them this weekend, um, i don't. I don't know that i recommend them. I just noticed they have msg on them or in them. So much stuff has it in there. Now that i found out that it's called monosodium glutamate, um jennifer uh, one of my honeys on here - told me that and ever since she told me that i'm finding it's in almost everything, that's salty, but the reason i got this uh this weekend, i'm going to Be making a casserole, it has ground turkey and rice and cheese and um canned uh carrots, and then i top it with chips that are uh crushed, and i thought this these ranch bugles would be really good. We usually use bugles or um. You know those onion ring chips funyuns. I think they're called something like that. We'Ll smash them up and put them on the top, but so that's what this is for is for that meal and i think that'll be really good. So that's everything zelda's exhausted from all the stuff that i just went through she's still sleeping i'm jealous. I think i'm gon na go take a nap in like five minutes. I'M gon na go take a nap.
