How To Find A Hair Vendor To Start Your Hair Company Very Detailed!!

What is this glamour gang? Welcome back, I'm gon na be answering a question from my Instagram. Let'S see, let me pull it up here, so the question is hey glam. Thank you for your latest video. It was very informative. I'Ve been trying to look for vendors on Alibaba and honestly, I'm struggling. Could you please give me some tips on how to look for vendors and its Alibaba is the way to go much love from Zimbabwe, so I actually had been planning on doing this video, just as I told her cuz, I got a couple of people asking me This question so yeah, so a part of your question was, do I think Alibaba is good way for you go to find a hair vendor, I would say yeah and you guys I can't decide if I should be looking at the lens or if I should be Looking at the projector thing, so forgive me if I look down I'm looking into the lens but yeah, I would say it's a good route for you to find a vendor. If you're looking to go into any type of industry, it doesn't have to necessarily be hair. Extensions and to be completely honest, you guys, I found my very first vendor. Oh Alibaba, like if you even do your research, I always say, do research you guys, because I am a nerd like don't get it twisted cuz. I like hair and all that stuff, but I'm a nerd. I love to learn new stuff, but if you kind of research here on YouTube back in the day like when YouTube first started getting into like more people on here, doing, hair and makeup and stuff Alibaba was all that people talked about. Nobody mentioned Aliexpress. So, in my opinion, Alibaba was around prior to Aliexpress or maybe obvious. First just hadn't grown that big. Yet so yeah, that's how I found my first dinner was on Alibaba. They have people from all over. It doesn't have to just be Chinese. It could be Indian Indonesian um Burmese hair Filipino Russian. They have hair from everywhere on Alibaba. Now, before I even give you guys this information, I need for y'all to know that me giving this information doesn't take away the risk of you actually having to purchase the hair and test it out for yourself. So there will be some level of financial risk that you will still have to take. You can kind of figure out how to find vendors in specific areas. Okay, now before we get started because you said all the way from Zimbabwe, I do want you specifically. You now this doesn't maybe not apply as much to those in North America or Europe, but if you're in Africa make sure that you are testing your hair because a lot of manufacturing companies trading companies they send a totally different type of hair to Africa versus their North American and European customers and clients so make sure that you're testing your hair. When you find someone that you feel like you could trust them, and you want to go ahead and purchase hair and let's get into this okay. So what you want to do is go ahead and type in alibaba.com. You guys can see that I'm on Alibaba right now now I'm not actually a member of Alibaba. However, if you need to, you can go ahead and sign those and get you in account, so you want to search for your talk to the selected suppliers. They got the suppliers by region. They also have e-commerce buyer zone okay. So they have a lot of tools on this website versus Aliexpress. Now, here in this search box, you want to always make sure that you're searching for suppliers and not products. Now I want to show you guys the difference between searching for suppliers versus products. So if I put in hair and human hair extensions - or I put in virgin hair extensions, look down here up underneath products, you can see that you get almost half a million different people who offer selling this product. That'S one of the reasons why you don't want to be searching by product, so you want to click on this little box and you want to click on the supplier. Now, of course, it's obvious that the supplier is people who actually supply these products now think about this is that some Aliexpress, as well as some Ali Baba well Alibaba vendors, are actual suppliers to other Chinese hair companies and I'll show you guys how you could tell The difference okay, so now we have suppliers, you can see right here is less than 4,000 suppliers that um our hair extensions on this website, and you can use these little boxes for try to surance to checkmark words whether or not is verified, and you see when You check out these boxes now the supplier number goes down again before was a little less than four thousand now it's like fourteen hundred different suppliers, so that is a good thing about Alibaba, because it does allow for you to compare and contrast the people that you Will be doing business with in the future, so all you have to do is click on the company's name right here. It says they have nineteen foreign trading staff. That means they have 19 employees. They do offer OEM services, you guys om means. If you need someone to do like your packaging design, your labels and stuff, like that, this company is saying that they do offer those services for you. So you don't have to go and reach out and find someone other than them. So it also shows their top three markets. North America is pretty much their largest audience. They have about one hundred and ninety thousand dollars per month. Their response rate is a little less than one hundred percent, which is a good thing, because you want a supplier. That'S going to respond to you within a good amount of time so clicking on this supplier. Here we're gon na go in and check out some of the information that they offer. Okay, so their minimum order is one piece of hair, which is a good thing. If you don't have a large budget as far as starting your hair company, these are the type of payments that they take. They do take paypal for everyone who do not want to send money through Western Union, which, I would personally say do not all about me. Losing money myself doing it that way, it also has information concerning the company's profile um. It shows right here that they are a manufacturing and trading company. That means they actually makes the product and they can ship it out to you as well. This also means that there are companies that other companies probably purchase their products from now. The main product section is something you really want to take in consider raishin, because you want their main product to be human hair, so they have up to 300 employees, which means they can get their stuff done a lot faster than a smaller company they have. There is no certification and yeah. Their main market is pretty much North America, so this part is interesting for people who cannot actually travel to go meet their vendors. They have a lot of pictures up here, showing you exactly how the process goes on me and so in how to rinse the hair. This is how they actually create the curl pattern. If you can see the closures in the background and the hair is wrapped on those little sticks, that's how they make the curly hair, it's not so interesting. I think this is so awesome. This is how they actually wash the hair. This is how they wet the hair, and I think this is awesome for people who want to travel to their vendors, but you may not have the money to do so. Okay, so this part is interesting to me. If you don't really care about all of this, then you can kind of fast-forward through the video, but it shows you exactly how many sewing machines this company has in order to fulfill all of your orders. It also shows how many product lines they have that mean like the little lines where the product is going through is ten different knives. Again, it doesn't show that they offer om service. They offer brand design as well and um. Pretty much designing your labels. Should you feel the need to stick with one company for everything and I think that's a good thing, because you don't have to search out somebody to make your labels and bags and things like that and here's a cute little picture of them at a trade show Back in 2016 and right here, it shows who their largest markets are. That means these are the people that they sell to most often on. They are four seven, eight, eight, eight nine eight 100 % virgin meet Brazilian human hair, and it also shows the amount of reviews they have as well. But personally for me, I don't pay attention to reviews, because what somebody else own consider what is good here or customer service may not necessarily be my personal opinion. So I never look at stars as far as determining whether or not I want to do business with the company okay. So this is a second company now they say they offer wholesale one donor unprocessed raw Indian virgin cuticle aligned here now I want you guys to understand that when you see all these words, that's pretty much part of SEO so anytime. Somebody typed in the word wholesale one donor, unprocessed raw Indian virgin cuticle alone on hair. This is the type of company that will come up. Okay. So that's why so many people get confused by raw in virgin and cuticle line, because you see a title such as that, so they are located in China and says that their hair is virgin. The hair type is Indian hair um. The weight of each bundle is a hundred grams, and that's what you want to look for as far as how big your bundles are. You definitely want them to be somewhere between 97 and 100 grams. So here's a couple some come. So here is some information concerning the company. They also have videos and pictures of their company. It is a manufacturing and trading company. They have up to 100 people working for them, so that's a little less than the previous one, but it's still a lot of workers. If you want someone who's going to be able to get the work done faster and North America is their largest audience, I do feel like if you find a company whose largest audience is North America is more likely to get better hair, well, North America and Europe To get better hair from that company versus somebody who has a larger client customer base in a different place? Okay, so I want to go back to the home page, so we can move past, just fine finding suppliers just in China. So again you want to make sure that this top box says suppliers and not products, and then you want to type in um hair extensions. Now, right, no funny that box, it says location and right here it says: oh, you want to click on that box and it's gon na bring up a lot more locations where you can search products. So here you can see China, Russia, Indonesia, India, Thailand, Vietnam. These are all the places that you could pretty much search on Alibaba, where you want to purchase hair from so you don't have to necessarily use Alibaba just to purchase hair from China, okay, okay, so once you click on the box and since India you could go Ahead and press in okay, I would suggest that you do them one place at a time. So then you don't have to be confused on exactly which, which area you are seeing these vendors at. So this is the first Indian vendor here on Alibaba and it says they being a go supplier here on Alibaba for one year. Their main products, which is something I said, is important for you to look for says. Raw human hair doubled your own hair machine, wet hair virgin hair. Now they only have eight eighty four percent response. Time to me. That'S a little bit on the questionable side, because I need for you to respond within appropriate time. Okay, so the next one is also being on here for a year now, you guys can see that their biggest market is Africa. It says 54 % where in North America only says 26 %. So let's go ahead and click on this vendor and see what this page is looking like: okay, so they have the wholesale prices listed 52, pretty much 99 1 doles, and then they can show the price decrease. Based on how many bundles that you purchase now right here, I don't see a minimum order, quantity and minimum order quantity just that this is the amount of hair that you can purchase the minimum amount you can purchase to get those prices, and this is a video That they have them. I don't know why vendors comb, comb, hair and shake here in videos. They really don't show you whether or not the hair is good or not by combing it and shaking it. So, let's just grow down to their company on details. They are located here, you see in India. The bondo way is a hundred grams, which is good. I says they have 17 years of experience. It says customer service 24/7, but I'm not sure about that with a eighty-four percent response rate, they do offer PayPal, or at least they got the picture saying they offer PayPal and it looks like they also offer om services or packaging for your supplies, which is a Good thing, if you don't want to spend additional money from your budget on packages, I love that they actually show what the wealth looks like. That is something that is super important to me as a hair supplier myself, and it says they are looking for service providers. Wholesalers, retailers, so this might be an interesting company to kind of write in your notes or kind of bookmark this page and create a folder that says hair vendors, and then you always go back to this specific vendor. If you want to contact them - and it also has their their actual website address, so if you want to go straight to their website, you could do that as well. Now, let me just say this about pictures. Pictures have always been one of the big things that I kind of determine whether or not I wanted to do business with the company. If I felt like the vendor was still in someone else, pictures whether it be another hair company or just random people off the Instagram or YouTube, and they have their pictures on their website. Those are people that I would never purchase hair from. You want a vendor that is showing their own products so anytime, you see like people that you see on Instagram or social media, and you know you've never seen them or heard them talk about that company's here. Then it's probably not them actually wearing their hair anytime. You have like blurry photos. Blurry photos is a big indication that they took the picture and got it from somewhere else, so they may have to blurred the picture out because they had the previous person's watermark on it or something like that. It was a small picture and they tried to blow it up. So the pixels look, you know, kind of fuzzy. Fuzzy pictures to me is a no-no with choosing a brand or a company to go as far as purchasing here. Okay, so that's good for that now I want to show you guys why it's important for you to look for all these details cuz. Hopefully you trying to go into business and sell hair as a business and not just a hobby, or you know something like that. So, that's why I think all this important, this information is important, so here you guys can see when we scroll down to the second and the third supplier. Listen on this page, this top supplier - you see right here. If you look at main products listed beside their company name, so when you look at the part where it says main products, this second company here says: hair weaves, hair weaves character, hair clip on hair take pair. So that is something that you really need to consider when you decide to go into business with these companies, no matter how good their pictures may look or if they have videos you want to make sure that their main product says here. Then we go down to this third vendor or company or supplier, their main product says SEO feasibility report right in business, counseling and consulting. So that means this company probably doesn't really sell hair like that it might be just a extra stream of income for this specific company. Their main product is SEO feasibility report writing business, counseling and consulting. So how good would they be for you? As far as you trying to be into business as far as you sell in here, so you may want to skip over a company whose main product does not mention hair extensions and then their response rate is thirty. Three point: three percent, so yeah you don't want to do business with them anyhow because they probably will never respond now. This fourth company does say that his main product is hair extensions, so we're just gon na go ahead and click on this company and again kind of go over their company profile, so they are located in India. They do have a couple of pictures up here to show you guys what they're, probably they're, factory or location actually looks like they do have eleven 250 people, the transaction level response time all that stuff is hidden. So I'm assuming that it's probably not very high, because the company that's in business for doing hair, they want to attract new customers, so that information is important at least to someone like me, so they also have their wholesale prices listed up here. Twenty to eighty dollars per pack - and they also have the lifts available now their minimum order. Quantity is one pack of hair. That may be good for someone who has a smaller budget, and you don't want to spend a lot of money purchasing here now. This says they only have one product line, which means that this is a really really small company. They have 10 % in Asia, North America, Central America, Asia, so they have a little bit of customer a little bit everywhere. So to me, this kind of company is kind of all over everywhere it doesn't really seem that they are well established. Now I will say that I have said I prefer smaller companies and I still do and the reason for that is. You know what I'm gon na leave that as a secret for the end of the video I'm gon na. Tell you guys a little thing. So, ok, back on this page here we go Indy a human hair extensions, so I think you guys kind of get exactly what you should be looking for when you're clicking on these on pages um. You definitely want to see where their biggest audience is again. You wan na check the the weight of their bundles if you're looking for hair that's up to 40 inches, you see that it says that this company actually has hair from 8 to 40 inches. So if you're, the type of hair company, where you're gon na be servicing, probably like 18 to 25 year olds, this information will be super important to you, because the younger crowd purchases longer lengths of hair, so you'll get more like 16 to 25 year olds. Getting 22 24 26, where 25 to 35, is more, like, maybe 18 to 22 and then maybe 14 to 20. Okay, so that information is also important. They do have pictures and I've seen this picture on so many different companies websites. So to me this is a little suspect. I don't know if this is this their actual picture, but, as you guys can see, it's super blurry. So to me, if you took a picture yourself, it shouldn't be this blurry. I should be able to see a lot more detail there. Minimum order quantity is 10 bundles, that's one kilogram! One kilogram of hair is 10 bundles. So to me this is another one of their pictures to me. This company sounds good on paper looking at it, but the fact that all of their pictures are blurry is like no look pretty kind of interesting a little tinting, but I think I'm gon na have to pass on that. I need for you to have your own pictures of your own hair and no stock photos. No YouTube people, no Instagram people now here average lead time, because I've discussed this in a previous video about selling hair. The average lead time here says 5. That means it's going to take these 5 days before they even ship your product out to you. So that is another thing you want to look at when you're searching for vendors or manufacturers on Alibaba. If you don't want a company that has a long this time, make sure you're looking at their lead, Tommy's will okay moving right along. So the next one is Indonesia gon na go ahead and click on that and press? Ok. Now you can see the supplier being in business for two years again, you want to look at the main products, their region, how much they are shipping or processing during the year um their top markets. Their top market is Western. You Western Europe, so okay, so this company actually has videos. Let'S see what it's looking like their response. Time says less than 72 hours. That mean it's gon na, take them up to three days or slightly less than three days. In order to respond to you, they have up to 100 people working. They then establish 622 me since 2012, okay and so here's a video. I don't really get much out of company shaking hair, but this definitely looks like wrong here. Y'All know I love that raw hair fluffiness. I don't care what nobody say that me we're all here: hats love to it! So if you don't want that that you don't want wrong here, but this is awesome for everybody who wants to take a tour of their vendors um location. They give you actual video tour, so you guys can see like where the hair is coming from. So when you think, like your hair should be super moisturized and cute and it shouldn't be dry, these vendors are not thinking about that they're thinking about their processing and getting it on the wealth and sorting and shipping it. So sometimes it may arrive dirty cause like in India, it's very dusty there, so when they put their hair outside to dry. All of that dust, that's in the air is getting me your hair. So it's important that's why I always say it's important to wash your hair prior to putting it on okay. So this is another one they're videos, I'm assuming this is probably like a loose wave texture. I wish they would have took a brush and brush this texture out cuz. I feel like you, don't really know what it's like just by looking at looking at it like that on camera. If it's like that and you brush it, and they don't get that fluffy that I like we're out here, then it's been chemically processed period, even if it's being curly, if it's curly, hair or deep wavy hair, when you brush it, it should still have that a Sheet like do you see my hair, this is my rock Indian hair. You see how it has kind of like the ashy shine. Does it making sense, it has like a Ashley shine and it still has like it's. It'S not a sleek straight, even though I flat ironed it. It still has that fluffiness and that texture to it. That'S what you want to look for like when you order samples from a vendor, and you get puffs begin cuticle align raw or remy hair. If it's not fluffy, Tuffy cuz, it ain't me and they got a lot of pictures here, showing their hair prior to wetting it they are located in Indonesia. So you know they're really here really there. It says it is virgin hair. The hair comes from India. You see why this is important. This don't say Indonesian hair. This says this hair type is Indian hair, not Indonesian, here, okay, so we're just gon na scroll down here a little bit more now. What you got to look at this company says their main product is bulk. Hair. Both hair is less expensive than what they hear, because they're you're not paying for them to put the hair on the web. So if you have your own Webster, it will be better for you to purchase bulk hair versus purchasing hair that has already been with it now that would, I guess it will greatly depend on how much you actually have to pay for someone to wealthy. Now, if you want to tell y'all now Indonesia are best known for their eyelashes, so if you're looking for eyelashes, this will probably be a good company to go with they're, very well known for um how their eyelashes are. I know that for a fact - and there actually are located in Indonesia - I'd notice that on here as well - and you guys can write these companies down if you can, if you think you may not find them when you get on Alibaba, but they seem interesting to You, okay, so before we get started on this part, one of my things I was gon na mention previously is that I personally prefer to stick to smaller companies, because it's more and more people trying to sell hair now hair is a big business and I'm not Saying that anything that has to do with hair is going out of business anytime soon it's a billion-dollar industry. However, one thing you want to take in consideration - and I can make a video on this - if you guys want me to - is demand versus supply. Okay, now hair requires real 100 %. Human hair requires for another human being to grow their hair to that length in order for you to be able to sell it as a product. Okay, so with an increase of the man, which means more people are selling hair. If the supply is here and the demand is here or maybe the demand is here in the supply is here or once was, as this demand begins to rise, this supply begins to fall, which means that what you find now is raw hair will, sooner or later, No longer be the same quality because anytime, the man rises over supply. You will have some issues on this side of the business okay, so I want to show you guys another website that I actually found one of my oldest vendors that I've been with, and that is India Mart so here in India Mart and you could just click On down - and this is pretty much like the anything okay, so you can course go up here to sit all the India and repress search. You can decide whether or not oh it says your city, so we're gon na keep it with India and we gon na. Do human hair now this is going to give you the same type of information that it gave you on Alibaba, okay, and it does have some of the same Meishan available on here. It has the company's name. The usage is to resell the hair tight wavy. It has the color of the hair, how the hair is packaged is the transparent, poly bag, and that's normally what you see like on Aliexpress vendors, saying their hair in those little plastic bags. So here it does give you some information as far as the company. It does say they are a verified supplier. They are a manufacturer which is something you are looking for. As a going into business selling hair yourself. You want to go with manufacturing companies and not just training companies. They have a three percent response rate, which is okay. I'M a little bit picky, but that's a little too low for me anything below ninety four percent and I'm like, oh, no, so yeah you could pretty much do the same thing on a via mark that you do on Alibaba I do feel like Alibaba is a Little bit more detailed than in deal Mart so yeah. You guys that pretty much wraps up this video. I know it was stupid, drunk crazy long, but I was trying to be as detailed as possible with helping you guys find your very own vendors along your journey of launching your very own hair company, and hopefully I did that. I put a little tips and stuff inside of there. One more tip is sometimes when you order samples, those one or two bundles on the quality difference when you're ready to put in a bigger order. So if you have like family members or a little team that can order here as well, um with different names, try to see if you can order multiple times to make sure that the quality is consistent with every single order. That is my last tip, and I do want to reiterate, because I know a lot of people are looking to go into business for themselves within the hair industry. You love hair, you love to do hair. You like the way it look all that nothing is wrong with that, but I want to reiterate the fact that demand and supply is so important anytime. You decide to enter into an industry as far as going into business for yourself. Y'All know good well back in the day, although raw cuticle bring me whatever you want to call it, hair was also being sold back in those times as well, a lot of us because the african-american community are like the largest buyers of hair extensions and weeks. Okay, we were, we were rocking beauty store here, Bobby Balls, Milky Way, Milky Way saga in Deary me y'all know all those friends we used to rock. Even you can look at videos here on YouTube way more than raw hair, so that hair can spread a lot longer because it's mixed with other little fibers and stuff. So you could take a real bundle of hair and double triple net one bundle because you can mix it with other things, but when the demand of high quality hair begins to rise before everybody bought a beauty store hair, that's more important in our community um. As far as purchasing hair, because other ethnicities, Rock hair extensions to Spanish, Asian and Caucasian all rock hair extensions, okay, but we are the biggest buyers okay. So if the demand is down here and the supply can still be up here, because not a lot of people looking to purchase high-quality hair as the man began to rise over these last, I would say five to seven years, the demand began to rise for higher Quality hair, of course the supply is going to decline because there's more people purchasing, then you can actually get someone super to grow their hair to 24 inches. So I would say - and I said there's two years ago on a live chat to you - guys, if you don't remember, I feel like in a couple years and years to come as far as being able to resource like inches. 20. 22. 24. 26. 28 will start to decline and it's gon na be easier to get 14 16 18, because it's easier for someone to grow their hair to here versus all the way down to their butt. So I feel like that. Quality in those lips will definitely start to decline. A lot faster than shorter limbs so, depending on who your audience is, you might want to make sure that you plan, for that also make sure you have an exit strategy, make sure you develop to push streams of income, so you're not just dependent on one. Don'T just take your money and spend it on material possessions, make sure you invest it in other ways so that you can bring in multiple streams of income so yeah and that's pretty much it.
