Hey guys welcome back to my youtube channel if you're new, here, i'm jalessa so in today's video i'm going to be doing a very requested video, i am going to be comparing the fake dyson airwrap to the original and the real dyson air app. Of course, this is what the hair tool looks like. It brings all the attachments, the ones that i'm going to be using for today's video are these attachments. So these look just like the dyson air attachments, it's pretty crazy. So here i have my dyson air wrap. I love my dyson era if you are not subscribed to my youtube channel, go ahead and subscribe and turn on your post notifications, so you can get notified every time. I upload a video if you're not following me on instagram, go ahead and check out my instagram. This is my instagram right here. I post a lot of stuff on there that i do not post on youtube, so go ahead and check out my instagram show some love, so the dyson airwrap uses the koanza effect to kind of wrap your hair around the barrel, which is very cool. I love the dice underwrap because of that, like that, those are my favorite attachments. The ones that i'm going to be using today are my favorite attachments of the dyson era, because you get like the most gorgeous curls and it's so easy to do so. My hair is dry. I did do a blowout. I find it way easier to just blow my hair first and then just like wet like this much or like damp it a little bit and just curl this much you guys will see what i mean. These arrows kind of tell you, which way it's going to curl your hair, so this is going to curl my hair to this side. I want to curl my hair away from my face, so i'm going to use the other attachment, which is the same size. It just curls your hair to the other direction. So this side, i'm going to use the original and this side i'm going to use the knock off. I'M going to do the highest heat, setting the highest speed and i'm gon na do the cool shot and then i'm gon na turn it off so cool shot to set the curl and yeah. Let'S see whoa, okay, yeah that that's insane! That curl is insane like this dries your hair so quickly, and the kwanzaa effect is incredible, like it really does wrap the hair around to the barrel like this, like crazy, like super quickly so yeah, i got a very nice curl, very soft, very bouncy, i'm like Super excited to keep doing my hair. That was insane like it looks so easy. It just grabs your hair, like so quickly release the curl. Look at that like what that is beautiful, i mean it's shiny, bouncy and it's like so easy to do. Like you just place the hair tool - and it pretty much, does the work for you, it's pretty insane when you're close to your face. This does get like a little bit hot like around the neck. You can kind of feel it. So that's a little bit hot. So just keep that in mind, but i feel like that happens with like most hair tools: anyways beautiful wow. Look at that. I mean incredible: okay, beautiful beautiful beautiful every time. Every time i get a beautiful curl, i'm going to finish this side and then we're going to go right into the other side, so stay tuned, all right guys, i'm all done with this side. As you can see, i got some really really nice bouncy curls. This hair tool is uh mei zing. I love the dyson air wrap, but i will say i'm i'm going to be honest with you guys, i only like the dyson era. Well, i mainly like the mystery wrap because of these attachments, the barrel attachments, so it brings four in total, so two different sizes - this is the bigger one and then the one that i use is the smaller one. But i feel, like you, get pretty big curls already with the smaller one which i like i like this size. This is like a one inch curl, so yeah, here's, my hair. I am totally feeling it. I love how my hair turned out before i do this side. I want to show you guys the attachments of each hair tool. The dyson air wrap, brings two paddle brushes. These are used for like blowing out your hair, smoothing it out. The knockoff brings this paddle brush attachment, which i didn't really love, but go ahead and check out my video. So you can kind of see what i said about this attachment and the other ones, because i did try all of the attachments in that last video that i posted the dyson air wrap brings like this blow dryer attachment and then the knockoff brings one as well. This one isn't that bad. Actually, this one is a lot bigger though, and then the dyson air wrap brings a round brush. It'S very small, though i really wish it was bigger, like the revlon ones, that per dry vitamin like that size like something really really big, because i have a lot of hair and it's curly it's long. So it takes me way too long to blow my hair with this attachment, even though i'm not really supposed to use this attachment to blow on my hair, because this is more for, like just to add volume, it's not really to like blow your hair. But this is the knock off attachment. The round brush attachment this one is pretty bad i'll, be honest this one i didn't love, let's see if this hair tool can compare to the dyson air wrap, which is 500 more, i'm just gon na spray, the ends a little bit. So this right here is a little bit different to the original dyson air wrap. This does not have a cool setting. It only has three heat settings, so one two and three so yeah. This has different speeds, different heat settings and a cool shot. This only has three heat settings: i'm gon na do heat setting number three. Okay, let's see what type of curl can we get? Oh, very pretty curl, so you do get a nice bouncy curl as well, which is pretty crazy, because this is only like 50 dollars. Um, but the kwanzaa effect is not the same. You kind of have to help this one a little bit. The original dyson air wrap just grabs your hair right away. You kind of don't have to do much with this one. You kind of have to use your hands, sometimes yeah. It'S not really taking the hair like it's, not wrapping it around as much and i'm actually taking very small sections. Okay, so only grab that much yeah, i mean it curls your hair, but it's not doing that effect that you do with the dyson air wrap where it just like grabs your hair. I want to try a curl on this side with the dyson area, see how i just grab the hair super hot, too. Okay and there you have it we're gon na keep doing this side with the knock off i'm gon na take a very small section. I mean, as you can see, this is like super small, i'm gon na wet it a little bit. Okay, it's like not! Rather here we go here, we go okay, okay, there you go it's a very nice curl there. You go hey guys, i'm back. So this is what the fake dyson arab side is. Looking like. This is the knock off. So, as you can see, the ends and some curls are like not completely like curled. It looks okay, but the koanda effect is not the same. It'S not the same as the dyson air app, it doesn't even compare to the dyson era. Let'S be honest, this is a lot more expensive, it's 500 more expensive, which is insane. I know it's a lot of money, but this does work a lot better than the knockoff. That'S just my opinion. I just noticed that with the dyson air up, the curls fall right away, like i'm gon na need, like a bunch of hairspray, maybe so that these curls could. Finally, last a long time, because just every time that i curl my hair with the dyson a wrap. My curls fall right away. I could do it straight from like really wet hair damp hair, dry hair. They always fall right away. I mean with damp hair, does last a little bit longer, which is why they're still like pretty curly but, as you can see over here, these were the first curls that i made it's basically only curly like on the ends up here. It'S like not curled. So if i had to pick which one i like more obviously i'm going to pick the dyson air up, is it worth that much money, though probably that technology and that kwanzaa effect that you get with the dyson air app? You don't get it with another hair tool. I'Ve tried a lot of hair tools and no hair tool can do what the dyson a wrap does to your hair. I just don't like that. The curls fall right away. Maybe i'm just going to put some product in my hair, maybe i'm just gon na put some hairspray or something, but i love the type of curls that i get and i love how this brings different attachments like it brings a bigger one. It brings other brushes that you can use to blot your hair, um so yeah. I i have always really liked the dyson a wrap. It'S always been a hair tool that i really really like. If i didn't like it, i would have returned it because it's expensive but yeah. This is the original. Let'S dice in a wrap, and then this is the knockoff i mean you do get very similar curls. You just got to work a little bit harder with the knockoff, but you do save a lot of money, so i don't know, i don't know you guys. Let me know in the comments down below what you guys think, but yeah that is it for today's video. I hope you guys liked it if you did make sure you give it a big thumbs up and also don't forget, to subscribe to my youtube channel and turn on the culture applications getting a notified every time i upload a video. I love you guys so much and i'll see you guys in my next video bye. You

Trace: Definitely liked the dyson side for the simplicity. About your curls falling fast, apply a styling mousse or foam before curling for hold. They have some good ones out there..

Marisol Delgado: Hy Julissa. First I just want to said your makeup is on point. It looks so good . I LOVE the original better it grabs the hair so easily and the curls come out so beautiful. Unfortunately it cost to much. Congrats on your 10k. More good things are coming your way. Great video as always keep up the good job God bless you always.

marilisa peguero: Girl, I hear you! The dyson makes beautiful curls I just don’t know why they don’t last longer on your hair. Your hair it’s curly in its natural state. In my opinion $550 for a tool that my hair is not going to stay for a bit it’s too expensive. I love your videos and your honesty in them- keep them coming

Mona Mona: For those of you wondering why Dyson is sooooo expensive- that’s because the company is an AMAZING company. They have microbiologist, doctors, and scientists in their company who do actual research on their tools. I do not own the Dyson air wrap but I own other Dyson household items and let me tell you- you get what you pay for. The customer service is impeccable, the products itself are lifetime warranty products! Also, they treat and pay their employees a good salary. That’s what an AMAZING company does. There’s other companies that make so much money but don’t pay their employees enough to make a living. Support Dyson company if you can, they’re a great company!

Megan Alexis: I agree, I keep hoping Dyson will offer a bigger round brush attachment because I tend to use bigger round brushes with my normal dryer and would rather have one I could just put on my airwrap! They released smaller smoothing brush attachments so maybe they will keep going with new attachments

Fiona Darragh: I really like how your curls came out with the original Dyson Airwrap to be honest. The knock-off didn't seem to grab the hair as easy. Stay with original Dyson . I'm not good with styling my own hair. I just end up wearing my hair straight.

Mia Grace: I bought the dupe after seeing the first video and was a little nervous about it after seeing this one. I just got it today and I already love it. However...my hair is right above the shoulders, slightly wavy, baby fine but coarse. I have no issues with it grabbing my hair it does it well and it curls really well and the curls are lovely. I had dry hair, but spritzed with a styling spray and my hair was not damp or wet. I think that might be part of the problem with it grabbing the hair. It may do better on some dry. On me it seems to grab like the Dyson does in the video (I have not used the Dyson though). If I didn't know which it was and was blind testing it, I'd think it grabbed like the Dyson. However, others have also shown it can struggle with grabbing the hair. (Will link to a playlist of videos below.) I think if you have heavy hair it might be a problem. And agreed that the brush attachments aren't going to be as good as say the Revlon One Step (what I have and use, and definitely would be better than this for most folks for that type of hair drying due to the brush itself), or a clone to straighten or style in that manor. I think one would be very disappointed if they wanted it for that. But it might add root volume or be good for those with shorter hair for styling but not really a lot of straightening for curls. However, the round bristled brush that would be difficult to straighten curly hair, it would pull and tangle like crazy...it actually with the strength of the dryer (It's almost like it's sucking the hair in even on that tool too.) I could not pull it out of my hair while it was on. My hair was clamped down on it and I did not wind it that tight. I do not have that problem with other hot brushes, even strong ones. I had to turn it off and slowly unwind. This isn't a bad thing, it left a wave and with some practice I think it will be a useful tool too. But someone with longer hair or curlier, might end up with a brush tangled in their hair and stuck (happened to me as a kid when I didn't know how to use a round brush properly). The hair dryer, is surprisingly pretty strong. I have not dried wet hair yet with it but will test it. I have and love the Elchim Health Ionic. It's expensive but worth every penny, and if I had to replace items in a disaster, it would be one of the first things I would pick due to how quickly it dries my hair vs drugstore or even the T3. I call the Elchim my "wind tunnel" dryer. I've hated drying my hair my whole life and now I don't mind at all. I don't think this is as strong as the Elchim, but it's at least as strong as the strongest drugstore dryer and probably a little more wind than the T3. If you like wind and hot heat, you might like it. I was surprised by how much wind and hair movement on dry hair it gave. I'll test and report back later on wet. (I just rough dry and straighten or curl when damp.) There were a few issues...first of all the stink when it's first used. A lot of hairtools have this. But it's pretty bad and 30 min later I still smell it like it's stuck up my nose. It's a strong plastic smell but nothing was burning, overheating or malfunctioning. I hope it gets better with use. Also, I did not place the "air wrap" wand properly and it kept falling off. There were no instructions with mine (I got the boxed with not case version). You place it and twist not just place it on the unit. It's easy once you get the hang of it. The heat on high heat is pretty hot. I may use a temp gun and test it and report back. MY hair is VERY difficult to curl even with irons, tools on the hottest setting. It's either not there or falls right out. So far so good with this, but we'll see how long it lasts. I like my tools strong and hot due to this, and this meets the mark. It's probably pretty close to if not a bit hotter than the Revlon One Step dryer. It's loud and sounds pretty strong, it's not one of those weak drying brushes (the rotating ones are nice but so weak, I have a Babyliss one that just does not get hot, if it did it would be so great). I don't know how long this will last, but for the price it's great. I'd still love a Dyson. And if this didn't last I know how much I'd love a Dyson. You'd have to see how long this lasted by the price and see what makes more sense with the warranty (no warranty card with this at all, and I can't see any brand or name on the maker, but I was so impressed I wanted to see if they made other tools). If they only had a better bristle brush and square brush, it would be better. Julissa, love you and your reviews and honesty and that you show us tools we might not even know about and the ones to skip. I think you're totally right about this for heavy hair. This might be better for those with fine hair. Julissa, hope this is okay but here is a list with other (many foreign language) (added yours to this list) folks who seem to have the same issue with the suction and grip. I did not but my hair is baby fine. (I'll delete it if you want me to...) https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLrSgcMB31LAZMjQ4TPIqgO9HXyCgDKMiP This is the one I used it's the same one from Aliexpress (NOT an affiliate link!) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000622883831.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.15db75b40yyBcj Description: Electric Hair Dryer Blow Dryer Hair Curling Iron Rotating Brush Hairdryer Hairstyling Tools Professional 5 In 1 hot-air brush Seller: (NO affiliation, I'm in the US and picked the US version and shipped from, it arrived in just a few days by Fedex) (this seller seemed to have the best price and the most reviews, I didn't find any much cheaper on there either) Seller: Lisa Personal Healthy Store Also, Julissa...Have you seen this one. I'm wondering if it would be better used on a higher wattage dryer...It ls looks difficult to handle, but closer to the original Dyson on the "airwrap." (She links to it in her description.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKsBhR57HSI

@jamiebestrong: Julissa’s makeup looks so cute (always) ❤️

Andrea Alvarez: You really did that whole part with the knockoff x.x I admire your patience.

Tisha Hamid: You are my hair tool goddess lol .... going to buy Dyson for a bday gift to myself

Paige G: I think you have to let your hair absorb the water for a bit before you try to curl with the dupe, that's what I saw in another video! Love the video btw!

bxprincess04187: Love this video!!! I love your face with the fake one like oh boy this isn’t dyson!!! But the knockoff is so much cheaper than the dyson. And your makeup is gorgeous!!! Luv u

Gammer Mama: Why does the dyson have to be so crazy expensive

Janice Kovacek: Did you use the "Dyson" blow dryer" first" to blow dry your hair straight? If so, did you use one of the flat brushes to blow dry hair straight?

Nobody Else: Thank you for this honest review, after watching your video I decided to give myself a nice Christmas gift, so I just bought the Dyson. I hope I like it, but your hair is thick just like mine, so I believe it will work

Yaniris Silvestre: The dyson left your hair with beautiful curls is just so expensive.

Marie Louise: I have the Dyson airwrap and my curls do last but I have shoulder length hair that has long layers and is kinky. My son’s girlfriend has used my airwrap and her curls won’t take or last unless she sprays every section with hairspray as her hair is completely straight and long.

Ash B: Looks fabulous but I’m worried about the quality long term ☺️

Daniela Antunez: I love how you always honest favorite youtuber

vane guillen: Tbh no me gusta el knockoff, no se envuelve el pelo como el dyson y se pasa mucho trabajo, preferiría comprarme el revlon curling iron

Chloe: I wish i saw this video a few days ago i ended up buying the knock off not knowing it was a knock off

Nessa419: I haven’t found a tool where I don’t lose my curls right away. It’s frustrating

Nada Nika: doctor: “you have 15 minutes and 7 seconds left to live” me:

Aysha Negi: Amazing curls‍♀️

Alexa de jesus: yo creo que es mejor save your money y comprar el Original

Analyn Zupanc: Hello Pretty Julissa! You look more prettier with your make up❤️ Wow amazing tool I love the curls of dyson it’s pretty pretty amazing. Dyson is the expensive but I think the quality is good and it’s for long term use. And it’s easy to use as I can see on your video ❤️❤️ I really love how you review H O N E S T L Y the products ❤️ See you on your next video Pretty Julissa ❤️

Hyosomoo: Roots were a lot smoother in the Dyson. I’ll have to invest in one eventually.

Jessica Hernandez: i am loving the curls!!!!

Laura Ibarra: Girl I need help! Okay so you see how the fake one like you said you kinda need to help it a little ? That’s how I struggle with my AirWrap!! Idk if I’m using too much hair or too much product or what’s going on or maybe because my hair isn’t really long. It’s such a struggle!

Shu Wai: I dont like both products. I will stick to traditional. Dyson use less heat less dryness but the curl didnt last long for less heat.

Krystyn Contreras: I have that same problem with my hair. I can curl it but it doesnt last. Mine will have curl but then after maybe a hr its already falling and all i have is curled ends

Deborah Rios: I actually liked both sides... you still looked great at the end of the video

Queen Janine: Can you use the dyson tools on the dupe?

Linda Mckeith Lam: Is it just me or the knock off side looks better bc it’s more beachy waves vs dyson is more glamorous waves

Candace Richardson: The dyson damaged my hair so bad , I sent it back. It’s definitely not the best for black hair

Lindsay Puello: Dyson definitely does a better job pero diantre 150 pesos.. that's alot but it gives you such a voluminous look. Very gorgeous

AnnaCarter18: You shouldve tried the actual replica, Its identical to the real thing, try searching for chinese sellers

tekkies_and_tresses: The curls with the Dyson Airwrap look great and easier to do than with the knockoff. However, at approximately R12000 in South Africa, I would say it's not worth it. Love your videos. Very informative.

Alina Valentino Fonseca: Can u try this on someone with finer hair and or shorter hair cuz it might be better for others who have finer hair

Gulnaaz Parveen: Hey is your fake revlon one step hair dryer still working???? Lots of love❤️

Jime: Hello Bella, I have a question, cuando se utiliza es neseaario que el cabello este humedo? Que tu aconsejas?

Aysha Negi: Ur reviews are so best

Htab 2: Can you link your spray bottle please!

Lolita Lolita: The knockoff what a fail omg

Helen Ellway: Did u find a way to hold the curls?

Denise Vazquez: Love the Dyson better ❤️❤️

Angelica Vera: See this is why I like curling wand, I curl my hair with a wand and it could last up for 3 or 4 days

Nina A: This is biased towards the knock off imo

I M: Seems like a lot of pressure on the hair. How much hair do you lose?

Aleena Tariq: Love your videos ❤️ it's amazing

Mayri Linnette: Excelente por demás,,,, gracias corazón ,, bendiciones

Munira: What’s your recommendation for flat iron for thick curly hair.

Alfie Maguire: Where is the Airwrap made?

itsivoryy: Is Ali express legit tho? I wanted to buy this but it won’t let me purchase as guest , I have to make an account which I thought was weird.

Aysha Negi: Wow...waiting for it

Sookie1987: Knock off is ok too if just wrap the hair ourself not that big deal. the dyson airwrap is 2k in my country currency. with curl falling so fast wont even considerinng to buy original.

Aysha Negi: U were looking too cute while the fake one was not wrapping ur hair

zainab fatima: Yup that's a lot of patience and effort

Princess Sparkle Nails: I'm sure you've been told this a ton, but you are Vanessa Hudgens twin!! Oh my goodness!! Loved your video!!❤❤

Nicaury Martinez: Well, I prefer invest on Dyson instead of the knockoff. You pay for quality and good results.

Alekisses92: Can you do a review on the Lunata hair straightener

Vanessa Martinez: You look like Vanessa Hudgens! Great video!

Getha S: Loved the video GIVEAWAY participant here ig - kiku.79

Gammer Mama: The dyson looks better

Laura Figuereo: Thankssss for this.

Dania Bilal: Can u pls review the ghd rise?

tessa aguilera: Mine caught on fire immediately!! Like shooting out flames

@jamiebestrong: ❤️❤️

vane guillen: Segundaaaa❤️

Aysha Negi: U looking gorgeous

Jessica Patricia Lima Araujo: Wow she looks a lot Vanessa Hudgens

Shalana Hunt: What are u damping your hair with

Aysha Negi: Waiting for ur new video....its been 6 days now...

lila rose: Tu sais pas t'en servir car limitation et vraiment top

Ruth K: Wow!

Fuchi Chuchi: Can I ask which is probably a dumb question, but what affect are you talking about? Wanza affect?

zainab fatima: Cutie pie ❤️!

marilisa peguero: Ha first yay
