What'S up my party people, why? Okay, so, let's just get over that, I'm wearing the same sweat suit that I've worn for like 80 days straight. My hair looks like this, because I also still don't know what to do with these mushroom bangs. I cut for myself. So basically I have all this scrap crap. I have all this scrap fabric. That'S left. Over from over the years I used to make a lot of throw pillow coverings. I use fabric in my photography sometime, so I will put it around the lens or in front of the lens. If it's sheer, I just have all kinds of scraps of fabric from random stuff and I was wasn't sure what to do with it. And then I came across rosary apparel on YouTube. I saw that she made some hair bows or hair ties and my friend Josie she's, the stylist I've mentioned several times now. She recently used a big bow in one of our photo shoots that she styled and I really loved it. I personally will tie a bandana in my hair or some sort of scarf neck scarf in my hair. Sometimes I could wrap it around a ponytail or a bun and it's okay, but I feel, like a lot of people are doing that and I have all this scrap fabric. It'S something that I want to wear more, so I figured I would make some hair ties. I wanted to make some Universal ones that could be a hair, bow a scarf, a wrap anything that you want to use it for, and she made her is pretty thin. So I'm gon na make some thin like and some really thick, so I'll link her tutorial below she's, a lot more professional and cute and great, and let me just put myself down tell you to coat, send you to go. Watch someone else's video, please watch mine! So desperate what you're gon na need for this is paper a pencil, a ruler and any scrap fabric that you have and then also an iron. I don't have an ironing board anymore because we recently did a big clean-out in our apartment. So I just have this: I'm using like a lap desk with a towel on it because I'm so legit. So, let's get to the tutorial. I completely forgot to mention that you obviously need thread and a needle because I'm a dumbass I did mention that we were cleaning out our apartment and putting some stuff in storage. One of the other things we moved was my sewing machine, so I'm gon na be hand sewing all this, which I actually think is better because if you're not an avid sower, you probably don't have a sewing machine, but maybe you still want to do one of These tutorials, so I think it's better to do the opposite. I'M gon na show you how to do it by hand and if you have the sewing machine, it'll go even faster and that's even better for you. So here's how you'd make these things by hand yippy! No, no okay, so rosary apparel did hers in centimeters cuz. She has this cute. I think Australian accent I don't know where she's from but we'll do it in inches. So 50 centimetres is about 19 inches long. You just want the length to be enough that you can tie up the bow, so you have some ribbon hanging down or that you can wrap it around your head, whatever you want to use it for, if you want to make it longer, that's fine! So we're just gon na be measured, hang out with a pencil and paper. You can also draw this directly on the fabric, but I'm gon na be using a pencil and a paper, and then I'm just folding it in half to make sure that my sides are even and then I'm just gon na cut along the edge to make it That rounded nice, the way the end of the ribbon looks so then I have my template, so this is for the the skinnier one and I'm just gon na go ahead and make a larger one as well and there's my cap. Well, are you gon na, be my assistant and just mess everything up? It'S cool, I'm a dumbass, and I forgot to mention that your fabric is going to be folded in half, so you don't need both ends. To be pointed, just one end needs to be pointed because this is only half the length, and I also forgot to mention that when you're measuring it out, this template is only half so each fabric piece, I'm going to be folding in half and then cutting this Template out so I'll show you how to do that back so again, the fabric I'm folding it in half and then I'm placing this flat end at the fold here. This is the folded side and I'm just doing it along the edge. So I don't waste any other fabric, so right along the edge here and then I'm going to pin it down. So then, when you unpin it's gon na, be this super long piece. So I'm gon na go ahead and do that with these other. I'M just gon na make five of these, so I'm gon na do a white one, a purple, orange and pink. So I'm gon na do the same thing and then I'll be back and I'll show you how to make it in its entirety. Just on this one and then I'll make the rest of these. So I just repeated that step on all of these. I kept the tan, the purple and the pink that same skinny length, and then I just made this white one and orange one thicker cuz. I want like a thicker bow. The next step is to iron these flat and then iron them folded in half. Now that this is iron flat, I'm just gon na put pins along here and then get to the sewing part. So the next step is to sew along this whole edge, except you want to leave a space open in the middle because you're gon na flip this inside out and then you can sew up that one little space on the outside. I'M gon na repeat this step. For all my other pieces of fabric, so I've ironed out all of my pieces. The next step is to sew so you're, just gon na want to sew along this entire edge and then again leave an opening in the middle, because we need to flip this inside out because we don't want our seam, showing also because some of my edges are Uneven I'm just gon na do literally an in-and-out stitch. I don't know what the heck that's called, but my edges aren't that, even which I don't care, but since it's a little wobbly, if I just go straight across here when I flip it inside out it'll be better all right. So I've sewn the whole thing. The next step is to find that open space in the middle and flip the whole thing inside out, since it's so skinny you'll need something I just have this makeup brush. You can use anything a knitting needle because you want to be able to stuff the ends. Okay, so I flipped the whole thing inside out. This was pretty skinny, so I'm glad that I made a thicker one, but the next and final steps are to iron it flat and then sew up that hole that we made to flip it inside out. So it's ironed pretty flat, I'm just going to hand sew the seam in the middle and next you're going to see a montage of me wearing all the bow things I made okay. So now, clearly, I've changed because I felt like putting these bows on with a sweat suit. Wasn'T gon na look that cute or maybe it would who knows? What'S this, I ended up not completing the purple and the pink one, just because the fabric wasn't sewing very well at least hand sewing, so I ended up with the more neutral colors, which is fine, because I probably wear those more often anyways. First, I have the tan one, the tan skinny guy, so I'll show you a couple ways to style this. So first I just have a messy low ponytail with a classic. Not these bow strings are a little stiff, but I think they'll loosen up over time. Next, I have just a messy bow. I put my hair half up and then I didn't want the bow to be perfect: we're going for cash here, casual and cute next. This is a little bit too cutesy girly for me, but I just wanted to show you that you could use it as like a headband head, wrap thing to next. Is this medium-sized Orange more like floaty material one, so I'll show you this one next so because this is that more floaty material, it's really easy to wrap pretty much anywhere. So I just made a really messy bun. Please excuse the back and just did another imperfect bow around it. I think it's pretty cute. How many times am I gon na say that I also put it around a low bun and I just tied the bow underneath again super casual, not a perfect bow. I really like it this way. You can also untie the bow and just leave your flaps hang in which I think can be pretty cute too Jesus. How many times am I gon na say cute serving you, some Bell Beauty and the Beast realness here. I just wanted to tie it on the end of a braid. I think this would look better with long hair. I have this little stub here, which is great, and then I also wanted to show you it as a little neck scarf we're going for a Parisian, vibe, yeah cute touch it one more time, that's what she said. And lastly, I just had this big fattie. I made a really thick linen type material one. I really like how this one came out. This will be good for, like a nice big bow, so this is the last one. I just did another simple knot in a low pony again. I think this is a really classic nice structured. Look me to iron, my flaps a little bit better but um. I think it looks great and then I tied another imperfect bow. I really love how this one looks. It'S super structured, it's not symmetrical, which I like yeah. I think it's really cute this way, cute cute cute, this one's not as great for tying it around your neck, but I thought it was okay, so I just wanted to show you that's another option and I could tie it a little better next time and then. Lastly, I just tied it up in this wrap. Look. I think this is better for something like the beach. It doesn't really go with what I'm wearing, but I think it'd be cute with a little bathing suit. This is how my hair looked when I took down that last one so put her through a lot lots of tying and touching, and it's gon na be greasy as hell now um thanks for watching. I hope you got some Bou inspiration or a hair inspiration or no inspiration whatever thumbs up subscribe, see ya.

Isabel Louise: you're really CUTE and lovely. I really hate seeing the negative self talk. The "ew"s and "no"s and the apologising for your looks... stop! You're an example. A creative mind. Don't put yourself down and instead cultivate self love and just shine! :) Self love isn't always easy, and it's hard to portray it to the outside, when you're not fully feeling it on the inside, but even if you can't fully love yourself, you can still be kind! like i said, you're also putting yourself out there and sending a message. Make it a message of kindness and acceptance. much love! An thanks for the inspiration, it was a helpful video!

Sonika Das: Great idea but how to tie them in a bow exactly?

Ayi Collections: What kind of fabrics do you used?
