Hey everybody welcome back to taz's wig closet at wig studio, one here to empower and inspire your wig journey today we're going to talk about a style that i have reviewed recently. This is the beltress caliente in the color butterbeer blonde. I have it in another color we're going to do an unboxing of that um, but i do want to do some comparisons, because there are some things that i've realized about this style. Since that review that i want to share with you today coming up, i purchased the featured wig styles with my own funds. You can find them at wig studio one. If you go below the video and expand the description box, i'll, put a link there. All you have to do is click on that link. It'Ll. Take you out to the wig studio. One website it'll show you all of the colors that this comes in. It'Ll show you the pricing and you can order directly from there if you like, if you have any questions for us, please reach out to support at wigstudio1.com, so this is caliente hand tied. They have taken several of their most popular styles and created a hand-tied version for them, and what i'm noticing across the board is about a 200 difference in price between the regular version and the hand-tied version. So i did my best to describe each of the styles. So that you could make a good informed decision about which one you wanted to purchase, i feel like the hand tied is just my cup of tea. Personally, i don't wear the same wig every single day, um. So therefore, they're probably going to last me a little bit longer so an investment into a hand-tied style. For me, it really really works now, there's more there's more to it than that we talked about it being a better fit for me and a better fit makes a huge difference in my world, where i always struggle to get to get a secure fit. The other reason is the natural appeal of it i like, knowing that you know i can reach up there and style and and touch this wig. It just feels like natural hair to me, including you know, just feels like i'm rubbing my scalp a lot of the time. It'S such a natural looking style on the hand-tied caps. You will also find an ear-to-ear lace front and that lace front wraps around the ear tab and i'll show it to you when we open it up um this this new color um, but that makes a huge difference too, because that lace front just extends and extends. You can get more styling options from it and there's no seam that it joins the lace front with the monofilament. So i like that as well, i don't have to do any strategic styling to cover up a seam and, lastly, the other reason why i really love the hand tied is just because it it's worry free now, nothing, nothing, not even a hand-tied wig is going to Look like your real hair, but to the untrained eye it does. It really does so if a wind, if a wind blows, blows up here and parts, the hair, when i'm walk into to from my car, to the supermarket or or or during an outdoor activity um for the brief amount of time that it's lifted, you won't be Able to see wefts you'll be able to see that flesh cap with the hand-tied knots, which is imminently more natural, looking compared to a wefted wig style. I don't want to give you the impression that the original versions aren't natural looking because they really really are um. Some of the best wigs that i have experienced are from the belletress line. It is my current favorite brand for a variety of reasons doesn't mean it has to be yours, it's just mine at the moment, so um when you have a wefted, wig style. It'S probably no big deal. I mean i like the added touch of the realistic uh hand-tied cap and the flexibility that i have with it for styling and stuff. But i mean if you have a wefted version and you're walking outside, and your hair lifts a little bit, even if somebody sees it which is doubtful people aren't looking at you really. I mean you think they are but they're not and uh in in if they are looking at the back, your head and the hair lifts up and there's the visible weft. So what right there are. So many ladies, i am surprised to learn how many ladies are wearing like clip-in, extensions and toppers and wigs, i would say a large portion of people are wearing some sort of alternative hair, so it's becoming more acceptable. So if the hair lifts up - and you see a weft you're like oh well - you know they just they have hair extensions or you know they're wearing a wig um. It'S no big deal right. You know i can, when i watch movies on tv or interviews or movies or whatnot, and i i catch especially the reality tv shows. I can catch little glimpses of the clip in like uh, hair, extensions and stuff that people are wearing and i'm just like good for you. Your hair looks amazing, so you know good for you and that's the way i feel about wigs too. So i wouldn't let um the fact that a showing weft be a concern um and you got ta rush right out and you know save your money for this hand-tied version. That'S not what i'm saying at all, but for me again, just to recap: the sizing, the flexibility and styling and the realism. That'S what's going to make me reach for the hand-tied version every single time. So what have i discovered about this wig style since the review? Um, this is the same one that i unboxed and applied right in front of your eyes during the review, and i couldn't see all the way around, i'm blind when i open that box and apply it. You get to see this wig before i do so. A lot of times, i don't catch all those small details that are going to be important, so i thought i would jump back on today and just give you a rundown. First of all, this wig has more accentuated layering than the original caliente um. It'S choppy. It'S blunt cut, tapered, there's a real wedge effect, a real angular effect on this hand-tied caliente on the original caliente. There was a slight a slight angle, but nothing as dramatic as this - and i think what's going on here - is that there's probably twice as much fiber on this hand type version compared to the regular version. Okay, so those layers are gon na look more dramatic because there's more hair, there's more fiber. I mean this is a thick thick head of hair. Remember if it's on my head, it's my hair, i'm going to refer to it as my hair. If it's a wig or if it's in a box, it's my wig on my head, it's my hair, but i can just get all kinds of volume: sexy flirty volume, just by fluffing up all of this fiber. Now you really have to really enjoy that kind of edgy modern look of this wedge because it's pretty dramatic. I noticed that when i did my side by sides so you're going to have to like that about the hand tied version versus the original. So let's go ahead and unbox my next caliente hand tie. So we can see if this is consistent between the two, because so often you can see variances in wigs. I get one that has lesser density than another uh. The layering might be slightly different. There'S always the chance that that can happen. So, let's take a look, so this is caliente hand tight and cream soda blonde. Now i chose cream soda blonde because many of you wanted to know if this came in a platinum or an unrooted blonde, and it does we've got the cream soda blonde here. So this is the butterbeer blonde and i've often compared the cream. Soda blonde is like an unrooted version of butterbeer blonde. It'S uh, it's just a combination of some sandy blonde and a lot of platinum to me. The cream soda blonde reads: just platinum like a dimensional platinum, shade without a root of course, and when you add in the root, there's a little bit more depth and dimension. So it changes the color a little bit. Okay, yeah this color um, isn't as platinum as some of the cream soda blondes that i have experienced there's a lot of dimension, in fact, in this color. In fact, i see some of that darker sandy blonde in there and then some ash blonde, perhaps and then some ash platinum, really brightens and lightens it up, but no roo look no root. So this will please a lot of you that really enjoy the unrooted platinums. The unrooted blondes, maybe you are transitioning from a blonde to a gray. This might be a good color to consider any platinum really would, but this is going to be more cool in tone. It appears, although there are some warmer pieces in there um. So, that's why i like to say a lot of the times. It'S neutral, leaning, cool. I i do that a lot, because if you see some neutral or warm colors mixed in with the cool, you can't leave that out to me if you've got a lot of. If you have some warm and some cool that reads more neutral to me, because i can spot both in the style in the color, but if it's heavier on ash, then i'll say neutral, leaning, cool. If it's heavier on warmth, you know it'll to me: it'll be neutral, leaning, warm, okay, there's the caliente hand tied. I'M not gon na go through this in great detail, but i do want to show you this cap real, quick, there's the hand tied cap now on this one, because it is not rooted and it's a very, very light. Color. They use more of a cream colored cap compared to more of a flesh tone cap that you would see on some others. There'S that wrap around lace, ear to ear seamless back into that monofilament you're, going to find about four and a half inches from the tip of the lace through the back seam, four and a half and then four from seam to seam. Going in width. Then, of course, it's much wider there at the lace front, leaving you a ton of parting space here seems like those knots are fairly fine as well. Extended rose, lace snape with with strap type adjusters, i'm going to go ahead and cinch those in just a tad, because that's exactly the adjustment that i had to make on this one then you've got these stretch panels with the cluster knots there. So let's go ahead and prepare to apply this and again a shake shake, shake shake and rake shake and rake with my fingers or a comb, sometimes a brush. If it's tightly compacted there, belletress styles seem to separate and wake up a little more easily than other brands. Do this again is heat friendly and then we've got that weave part, i'm actually going to take a small brush, taking a small brush just to separate and disrupt that now, because it's a mono top, you can part anywhere. You, like my preferable. Parting space is just a little left of center. Okay, all right wow is this: ever a gorgeous color, look at that that beautiful soft platinum framing the face yet some dimension all the way around. Let'S go ahead and apply this swirling on the monofilament there just to further wake it up, so that i can have my way with the front you have to command your wig, you have to be in control of the wig or the wig will be in control Of you, we don't want that. That'S where the disappointment comes in okay, right away, the fit's the same, it's more average than uh than the more average large of the original, but wow a lot of hair. Guys i mean i could make a one and a half inch diameter ponytail on either side. That'S how much fiber there is here. I can tell that i need to work around the face. A little there's a lot of variants in the calientes that i have seen in terms of curl pattern, especially how it lays around the face. Some people get a really nice curly one and then the next one you get might be a little more limp around the face, but you can fix all of that. So the first thing i do is i just get that parting space, exactly where i want it, and then i set about just fixing. It is an overwhelming amount of hair, and i say that because it's not long if it were long, it's i can sort of justify that a little easier than when it's shorter, because we're at 12 inches here when it's shorter and you've got a lot of a Lot of hair a lot of volume, sort of get that round bulbous effect and for petite features, particularly that could overwhelm your features pretty quickly like mine, i'm six six and a half from hairline to chin. I'M only five inches from my width and my neck is only three and a half, so everything is smaller on my face, like all the features um. So this is an overwhelming amount of fiber for sure. Let'S take a look at the lace, there's that ear to ear lace wow, so they bring that ash platinum right up to that lace, front gorgeous gorgeous. So you can just start to see my widow's peak peeking through that lace. There now sometimes with the white knots you do it's a little easier if you're up close to see the delineation of the lace front. You know it's marked a little white um and that's okay. If you need to uh just put on some foundation powder or something at the root to soften it and help it blend a little easier, that's fine! Because for most people, a platinum against your skin tone is going to there's going to be a big difference there. So i would just take some of my. I use a medium translucent face powder and i would just dab it in and then shake it out. You know don't allow it to cake in there, but and sometimes that helps it blend. So again i just unboxed this. So i can't see the back of it yet all i can do is see a little bit of detail at the front. I can feel i can feel how dense this is. So i think what i would do is i would take some water and just scrunch. It now what that's going to do is that's going to shrink the fiber and that's going to it's not physically, going to shrink the fiber. It'S going to shrink the appearance of volume. So it's going to take that volume down a little bit. So let's check that out because again this is a hand-tied cap, there's no permatease here, so i can just make this my own. I can make it my own, through heat with water through styling, never give up command that wig, okay. So personally, uh this front piece is seven inches, which i like okay, i just wish it would taper down a little more here. I think if i didn't have all of this hanging way down, i think it would be a much better look for me personally, and i think that is why, when i am asked, i will tell you that i prefer the downbonus 16 over the caliente because of The layering and how it frames my face, but you can be that your own judge, knowing yourself and developing your preferences, is a huge step in your journey to wearing wigs, because it's going to help you manage your wig buying. There is no simple way to get there, though you have to experiment, and if you're one of the lucky ones you'll find the right wigs right away, but most of us it takes a while okay. So this is it. I think what i'll do that then? Next is we'll do some side by sides so that i can, i can look and you can see too uh any differences. I feel like the volume and the density on this piece is pretty much the same as on the butterbeer blonde that i just showed you. It does seem to be a little more around the face for me, but again until i see it side by side. I won't know that so let's go right into it. Do okay! So today we unboxed discussed thoroughly the caliente hentai and the reasons why i prefer the hand-tied version. We talked about the difference in cost and you know what may make the difference for you. I hope you enjoyed today's video stay tuned. We'Ll see you again soon on tessa's way, closet at wig studio, one, you

Karen Gaylor: I'm happy to hear the hand-tied fits better than the regular because BT is bigger than RW or JR on me. My wigs are my hair because I've paid good money to own them! They don't belong to anyone else.

Jennifer Kenner: As someone who had thick wavy hair before chemo, I may buy this based solely on this great video! To be honest, I’ve only bought straight wigs because I’ve straightened my waves most of my life and I hate frizz lol. But this wig imo is GORGEOUS. Of course that could be 90 percent that you are gorgeous, Taz ❤️

Margaret Tassey: Great information. I decided, based on your previous review, that this handtied version had too much hair for me. I love your color terms, so helpful, and wanted to see this color. I had heard that it was a non-rooted version of butterbeer, but it reads much lighter. I have found that wigs that are predominantly neutral look best on me. One reason I follow you is that wigs look similarly on me. I could tell about the density and also the length. Thanks again.

jayandess: "I'm wearing a wig - so what?" It's absolutely true. No-one's bothered what anyone else is wearing!

Faith Jones: Great discussion TAZ! I did get my two New Deliveries “Untold Story” and “Upstage” and I am wearing them around the house as I am slightly‘overwhelmed’ with the volume. I am taking your advice TAZ and trying to make these MY OWN. I keep watching your clips to see HOW YOU DID THIS!! You are a true inspiration!! ❤️❤️

Jean Jacobs: Greetings Taz! I really love that cream soda blonde!! She's just gorgeous on you! Love and blessings ♥️

Front Porch Wig Chat: I just got a new, regular Caliente, same color I've owned in the past, Brown Sugar Sweet Cream, and I noticed a big difference in this one as opposed to the original that I owned. It has a lot more hair, first of all, a lot more! Secondly, it fits tighter than other BT pieces I've owned in the past. Third, the curl pattern has a lot more body. I really like it! The original was almost lank compared to this one. I wonder if it is just this piece or if they have changed some things up in their caps and the density, at least on the newer Calientes. One thing about the hand tied BT cap that I noticed and does not make sense to me is that they put rose lace on the nape rather than felt. It really doesn't make sense to go *almost* all the way to luxury, then cheap out on that portion of the cap. That gives me pause because I feel that it might be a bit itchy. Otherwise, I'd love a hand tied Caliente. By the way, I had Cream Soda Blonde on Kona and it was really bright around the face, almost white. It was a bit shocking to see myself in the mirror in that color, just a bit too much for me, but I can see a lot of ladies who would love it. Overall, Caliente is one of their very best styles. Thanks for the comparison. Have a wonderful week, Taz ~Cynthia

Wyzer Now: Cream Soda Blonde! Practically every Belle Tress I own is this beautiful color. I also like the Roca Margarita Blonde. On the side by side, I liked the ButterBeer Blonde on you, although, they both are lovely on you. I only have one BBB and I have never worn it and I never will. My skin is extremely fair. The dark root is so stark and it’s all I see. I think it’s a beautiful shade, I just wish I could wear it. Thank you for sharing your time making these very informative videos.

Jilly Pepper: Taz, I purchased this hand-tied wig (in Roca Margarita) based on your previous review. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS WIG!!! It is the best Belle Tress wig I have purchased to date, including the regular Caliente. I do NOT like poufy hair on me and I DO like the bangs to fall over my forehead (as opposed to contour). This wig is everything I've ever wanted and I feel the price point is worth it with this wig. It is so comfortable and natural. The ear-to-ear lace front is stunning. A note on the color Roca Margarita (if this helps anyone on their wig journey). I have light skin with freckles and had strawberry blonde bio hair until I turned salt & pepper. The Roca Margarita root on this wig really blends into my own bio hair. Between the light highlights that go right up to the hairline and the neutral color of the rooting, it just works. I never in a million years thought I would wear a rooted silver-blonde, but I took a chance based on Taz's prior reviews of this color and it is an amazing match.

Lorrie Webster: Hi Taz Thank you for all your videos, they are so helpful. I have a few RW wigs and love them but one of my wigs is bell tress and it’s my go to bc it’s so comfortable, it’s cool brew chic root beer float. One of my RW is called pretty please and I love how it looks, but it is SO big on me. The water helps A LOT with the volume. I ordered sea salt spray bc like you said in that video, it’ll make it stay.

Sandra G. McAlister: Beautiful colors, and beautiful wigs. Thanks for the unboxing and side by side comparisons. Have a great evening, Taz, and rest of the week. Hugs

Gaining wisdom: Thanks for the update Taz! The first one seemed to have a more dramatic wedge effect than the 2nd, though it may be that the 2nd seemed to have a more relaxed wave. I'm a lover of the Dalgona16, those face framing layers are just so beautiful on pretty much anyone I've seen it on. It just occurred to me that Joy by Wig Pro reminds me of Dalgona 16. I'm really tickled with the handtied versions, especially the Dalgona 16, personally. I had an off topic question. Are there rules that all retailers are bound to by the manufacturers? For instance new styles etc? I've noticed some retailers doing things others don't and I'm not trying to be judgmental, but I personally have never been ok supporting people, businesses etc that are a party to anything that is wrong. Maybe it's from owning my own business or my history of upper retail management. I just have noticed some inconsistencies that I never realized before and thought maybe you knew. Thanks for another great insightful video.

Connie Feltman: WOW … that is gorgeous! So much hair! I always had really thick hair when younger … thinning now and that is why I am turning to wigs! Thinking really hard … get it or not too! GETTING! LOL

Patty Carosi: Hi Taz Very helpful information. I could really see how much hair is on the hand tied. Have a Blessed week!❤

Michelle Diekman: I totally agree with you, if Someone Realizes I'm Wearing a Wig or Hair piece I could care less. I even tell people I am if I receive a Compliment You Look Gorgeous as ever Dear Friend, I think Spring is finally here in Minnesota, God Bless you, Love & Hugs Your Way

S.A. Kenyon: Great review. Beautiful style and color. However, it is important to state that HF fibers would probably only last a month of you wear it daily, which makes it a very pricey investment.

Jett Renning: Lazy day gets my vote. Sure would love to have that one.

TIme Enough: My husband has gotten so good at spotting wigs in movies or series now….cracks me up! Your hair looks great as always lady! You’re the best! So do I buy Caliente or Dalgona 16? Decisions! ❤️

Lee Ann Lowery: Think I’m gonna have to try this one!

me me: Hi Taz...thank you so much for your informative videos. I love all of them! I have question regarding color comparison. I have always loved Jon Renau Julianne in the color 12fs8. However since watching your reviews I am ready to purchase the Belle Tress Caliante. Which color in Belle Tress would you suggest is comparable to Jon Renau 12fs8. Thank you for your time!

C Carlson: I hope they make the bona vita hand tied ! Great video as always !!

Art with Mama Fairybread: Butter beer blonde maybe looks a touch more natural…but they are both beautiful..they look perfect on you…

jill googe: Hi Taz! I love your videos! Thank you for such great content! Do you have any video/reviews on toppers?

Maria Barradas: Do you find the hand tie wigs warmer then the the ones with wefts?...I only have one hand tie, Julianne by JR, I find her really warm, Caliente is a beautiful wig but I love the rooted ones, I need that dark root because I am a brunette and have darker brows but Caliente is on my list to buy, I am waiting for a Beach Mono from EW, love the fibers and it will be my second blonde wig, Pearl Blonde Rooted, I hope I like her so I can move on to a Caliente, I just would like to know if you find them warmer or is it just me, thanks for showing her to us.

Amy Rutherford-Close: Love alot of volume-

J F1: You forgot to add as soon as you find "the one" the manufacturer will discontinue it and you have to search again

Suzanne Dawson: I'm guessing you have more options in updos?

Deborah Goldstone: You look fabulous. Is this wig very hot in the hot summer
