Hi guys welcome at my channel sandy stays here so today I have an attempted Fulani braid, with tutorial to show you guys and the reason why I say it's attempted is because there's a bunch of mistakes that I made while I was making this week so throughout This tutorial, I will let you guys know what I did wrong and why I did right say that when you guys recreate it, it turns out completely fine and yeah. So this is a collab with another youtuber. She goes by the name of camera H. She made a whole braided wig without a closure like how sick is that so just make sure to check out her video I'll link it in the description box below and subscribe and support her, and let's just get straight into the video. So the first thing to do would be to die your lace and Beach the knots now I did it in the normal order, which is to bleach your knots and then do lace. But I felt like it didn't work out because I'm dark so when it came to bleaching the knots everything was fine, but then, when it came to dye my lace because my dye color is so dark. The knots went back to black. So, if you're as dark as me, I would recommend that you dye your lace and then bleach or not. So this is the dye that I used to dye my lace and I basically just mix every hot water, and then I left it in there for about 20 to 25 minutes. Just keep checking to see if it's the right color for you and then just take it out and then wash it out. So the next thing to do would be to make your wig. So by that I mean to either sew down your bundles or, if you prefer, to clear it down is completely fine, so I received four bundles from my Lisa. Have I got the 18 20 22 and 24 and then I also received a 16 inch frontal. Now these weren't the specific lengths that I asked for, but I just worked with them anyway, if you're gon na order, this type of water wave hair, just know that the frontal behaves differently to the actual bundles. So the curl pattern is slightly different. It'S not too noticeable, but that's just something: I'd be cautious of so yeah. So here's my front door after I sewed it down. I didn't show me, sewing down the tracks because I would have been dialed in such a long, video yeah. So here's how it all looks after I'd finished. I would recommend that you work with the head when it's dumped, because that's just that's just easier for me personally, but if you prefer it dry, then obviously just do that. So the next thing to do is to separate some baby hairs from the rest of your wig. Please do this or else when you finish braiding your wig you're, not gon na have any baby hairs too late. So the next thing to do is braid orclimber, your frontal. So when we're doing this use some aloe vera gel just to dampen the hair and to make it work basically, so I made the mistake of cutting my lace off before doing this. Please don't do that. Just save your legs till the very end way up so when it came to the actual cornrowing of the front, so I found it it's so difficult because I'm not used to working with her. That'S this thin or this fine, I'm more used to the course 4c textures that are super easy to grip. We am gon na need this to play and I'll explain exactly how I did it in the next clip and also like. I said in the beginning of the video, if you're as dark as me, I would definitely recommend that you die or lace, then bleach or knots, because, as you can see, my knots just turned back to black, basically, okay, so to braid the frontal. I basically use my Olivia gel to make it wet so that it was easier to manage, and then I guess more section from the beginning of my braid and then I split that section into three and that's what I use to start my calmer. So I basically start braiding it as if there was a box braid, but with every braid. I pick up some more hair and you just keep doing that as you go down, make sure to pick up small pieces of hair as you go down, or else it's gon na look bulky in certain areas. I made that mistake, so I had to go back and redo certain braids, but yeah. If you only pick up small pieces, you're going to have a smooth transition and your braid is going to look neat so because my frontal was so short compared to the rest of the hair. I added on some expression, braiding, hair and the color 1b. So to add it on, I just laid across and just start braiding now. Obviously, you can kind of tell where I've added in the hairs, but it just wasn't too obvious so make sure you use a hair color, that's the same as your wig and also to use small pieces at a time. Don'T use a big piece because it will be super obvious, so yeah. So next I just hide two knots, and that was pretty much it next thing to do is accessorize so for this braid in the middle. I didn't want it to show. So I tied it using this green rubber band. Yes, I should have used black, but I didn't have that at the time. So, if you're going to do this, I recommend that you use back. But if you don't look fine, you can just conceal it with one of your cuffs. When it comes to the end of your braids, I would recommend that you burn it using a lighter that way. Your braids would look a lot neater. I didn't have a lighter at the time, so I just hide it. Oh yeah, so here's how my wig looks after and with this gold thing dangling from the front. It was a shock with you guys. I literally used a bracelet that I got from Primark to do this. I just sewed it on, but I would definitely recommend that you just buy us off eBay, there's a specific hair accessories that you can get for Fulani braids, so I'll link them in the description box below but yeah and basically just laying my hair. I use the got to be hair spray. I would definitely recommend that over the got to be hair clean because this this thing it your wig. What means like it stays in place like it's amazing, so here I'm to say my edges, make sure. There'S no foundation on your forehead when you're doing this, or else it's gon na show on your edges, I also tried to hold my gold bracelet in place with a cuff, but just wasn't working, so I just had to leave it Mia after that. I left my edges still a while. I finished my makeup and that's pretty much it so yeah this week was a struggle, but I'm glad I've made it so now I can tell you guys what I would and wouldn't do in the future. So if you're gon na try and attempt to make this week, please take my advice on board and hopefully it helps you out yeah. Thank you guys for watching. I hope you learned something from this tutorial also make sure to check out cameras, video I'll link it in the description box below. Thank you for watching and have a nice day.
