Wig Haul - Paula Young & Especially Yours

Hello, i'm trying to get to skip this up so that i can see comments and things. So let me just find some things. It is so beautiful and hot here and people are just like taking it outside, and it's just really awesome to be honest to sort of um to see that and hear that, and you know, okay, i guess i'm gon na have to go i'll set that up Later i have a screen, that's sort of like in front of me that i prefer to use, but i don't there we go ten toes hi angie. My friend got me this cup for my birthday and it has like hi sarah hi, regina. It has like this um. You know those little puff balls that you can like make crafts with that's what's in here, so i'm using that hi karen karen's here again from british. So let's say hello, hi lori's, here yay my screen went dim, which i don't like all right call. I had. I live in the country so like there's a lot of trucks that that woke up kitkat, she was very bothered. So if you saw the um wig call that i had a while back um, oh hi amira welcome. I did a live week, haul, where i was doing some paula, young, wigs and if you are new here i do synthetic wig content. I am a wig coach and a sort of wig educator and i focus on um i'm cutting in and out. I was probably cutting in and out because i was trying to fix my screen, but it should be okay, now hi denise from pa, i'm in pa putin rabbit is here. It should be all good now it was cutting in and out because i was like i said i was trying to fix my screen because it's a little bit dim, but i have this one over here. My son is off on a date again. So there's nobody live streaming, xbox in the other room, so it should be all good and i'll keep an eye on my screen here. But i did a live, wig call of paul young wigs and it was the first time i ever tried them and i was so impressed with the quality that i bought. Some more and i came across. I know angie i'll have to do like a i'll. Do a car vlog on that whole scenario, so that you guys can hear all the deeds, because i'm just like it's kind of deja vu. I met her today. It was just crazy, um, not deja, vu surreal surreal, because i don't feel like i'm old enough to have a son, that's dating, but let's not go there. Anywho um. I have a wig friend here named beth. We are actually doing a collab and the collab is going to come out on tuesday. So please look for that um, but she was letting me know that i do name brand wigs to affordable beauty, supply stores. So i like to do a mixture of both um, because there's just gems all over and i want to share all the gems with you every time i can okay, and so she let me know that paula young actually has a sister company called especially yours, and They are going to focus more on those of you who have more, like naturally, textured hair or women of color, or you know things like that um. So i got some wigs from them. I have actually found that they could be slightly interchangeable and so i'll be doing videos coming up on that um soon, but i got some great wigs, so these are technically name brand um. But let me see in this wig haul. There'S nothing there's nothing over 48 dollars in this wig haul, okay, hi tracy! All right! I have a little bit of a spring cold yeah, it's technically still spring. How do you keep them from itching? You mean wigs in general um. Well, some of it depends on you know the type of lace that you're using. I use a wig grip cap. Normally i don't have one on right now, but i can show you so i use a wig grip cap and that tends to um. It looks like this that tends to help a little bit with the itching um, but you know if you have a sensitive scalp, then i think you really need to be more mindful that it is a softer sort of swiss lace. Um. You know and not really like a scratch. Your lace, you're just gon na, have to really pay attention to that lace. The other thing is, is that you can. If you see this lace front here, you can really cut the lace front back as far as you can. That can help with the itchiness too. The only other remedy i have is to put a little bit of maybe like a baby powder or something just up under the rim, but yeah. It'S just you're gon na really want to focus on a specific type of lace. If you have sort of a sensitive scalp or if you are experiencing itchiness, i hope that answers your question. Thank you, angie. It just turned spring. Thank you. I have not looked at these. You know how i wait until i open them with you, so i've been like dying looking at this bag wanting to get into it, okay, so this is what we got here. So this is what we're doing today. So i'm just gon na grab one and we can get started. So this is one - and this is from the uh, especially yours, sister company, to paula young and her name is karen. So this is in the color 30 slat 33 30 ho - and this is from the um dorinda cole clark. Cole line for especially yours yeah and i paid 29.99 for this now i did get her on a sale, but they have they have sales literally like every week. I literally have not opened this up, so i'm just opening in this now wow the color is pretty. The color is gorgeous. I love a 33 33-30. It'S sort of that darker auburn um. I have that wig from the wig company rock me. I have her in a similar color and i just love it, so i'm very excited to show this is a braided one. I'Ve been having a rough couple of days, so i'm so happy that you guys are here with me and this this wig haul. I have been wanting to do for, like i said: i've had these for probably close to two weeks and been wanting to show these to you and wanting to look at them myself, okay, so this is wig cap and there's a lot of packaging in here. So this is her. There'S like a lot of packaging in here. Oh, they have like things on each of the combs, which often doesn't happen okay, so this is her. She is gorgeous. She is a like a yaki like she's, a light yaki texture um. She does have a gorgeous hairline, so there's the hairline on her um. She does have these three braids on the side which are so cute um. Let'S look at our cap construction. Look at that beautiful ear to ear lace, two comb, three combs in the front, so you have two combs and then one here um, then the rest is sort of that stretchy stretchy stretchy mesh match what is happening: stretchy mesh cap and comb in the back. She does have adjustable straps that are velcro. Let'S just put her on this is gorgeous. This is gorgeous um. I mean 30 dollars. What all right! Let me take this girl off. Let me get my wig cap on. I just had a wig grip on. Let me get a: let me get my lace, wig grip cap from milanio melino, all righty roo, oh yeah. I love this thing. It'S so comfortable. This is so comfortable. I love these wig cap grips. I can feel like a hair on me all right. Let'S see what she looks like, i have no idea, and at least i'm not even taking the lace off. Okay, let's see all right. So let's grab another one um. This is from the same line yeah. I think this would be a perfect updo, because it's sort of already like that wedding here. It'S already made that way and you could kind of yeah. You could kind of do like a something you could really take this to the next level and you wouldn't have to put a lot of effort into it, and she already has this stunning braiding here, so you could really make a fancy do with this um. So this is same line from especially yours, but this is miss rose and i have her in the color tt1b slash t4 27 and i scooped this girl up for 39.99. I have no idea what she looks like like the package. The box is so gorgeous. This packaging is beautiful. Okay. What do you got for me? Miss rose okay. What does she look like she's pretty? Is this like a similar color? No, this is lighter. This is lighter, even though it's the t, what was it tt1b? Slash. T4. 27 wig cap. Alright. So this is a gorgeous. You can see the hairline, so they do have the baby hairs, but it is a hand-tied hairline on that those silica packs are falling everywhere. This one is the same: it's got uh in terms of the combs. It has two comb set wide, a comb at the very top and then a comb look at that gorgeous. This is all the lace you get to work with: okay, curved lace parting, so you have two combs here comb here, comb in the back and the velcro adjustable straps, and this is what she looks like there's her. You can see: wow! Okay, let me get rose on and see what we're working with okey dokey. I have to say i'm impressed to be honest with you, i'm very very impressed. So this is a 40.. This is i paid 40 for - and i just got these within the last two weeks, so um, let's see what this one looks like all right, let's get her, so she is a left-sided part. She'S got bendable, ear, tabs. Okay, there we go now we're in okay you're the tag's. In the way, let me put the tag back wow. This is so pretty that hairline is so beautiful, and this is like an ear to ear lace situation. This is really pretty, so it is a light. Yaki texture, but it's not as thick as the other one. This is all the hair to the front, so she's going to be in that 18 20ish range, but look at the bounciness of this like look bounciness, it's so beautiful, definitely multicultural! I mean really. You wish she was a middle part. I'M sure i have a middle part here somewhere um, i'm not usually a fan of these deep side parts either, but this one it's like hello, i mean for forty dollars, you're getting all of the name. Brand finishes um, for i mean the same as an affordable wig, so i don't know like i'm, i'm so excited um all right. Let'S, let's do one more of these and then pop over to some poly young ones. Hi brenda angie says no way. I could keep the wigs that long and not get it. Listen it's hard. I still have two because i haven't two other wig calls to do and they're sitting here. Looking at me, um, i just have to push them under my desk, like out of sight out of mind all right, so this is that same line from especially yours, so i got them from especially yours, which is a poly young sister brand. The only thing that i don't and it's not that i don't like it, but the one. The one thing that i, if i had a critique for the especially yours because so far, i'm blown away by the quality is they do tend to have a pretty limited uh color choice, um, and so i feel like they could expand it all right. So i'm putting this in the chat too, which is the poly young site. So these are where you can get these wigs um. They do. Sales like nobody's business, so do not buy anything unless it's on a good sale because you don't have to and you don't have to wait long, um they're great with the sales sarah. I hope i said hi to you. Okay, i think i'm caught up, so this one is miss keaton. I have her in the color t1b 30 and i scooped her up for 39.99, again name brand. Wigs, look at the packaging. This is the braided one. Oh, my my this is the braided one. I don't. I took a chance on this, but i really wanted to explore this. Okay. Okay, all right! All right! This is the braided head. It'S a braided, headband wig! All right! Let me get her out of this box. Yes, sarah nothing in this particular hall is over 48 wow. Okay, so recap! So let me see how this girl is supposed to work. So it's sort of a head look at look at those braids, it's sort of a it sort of has like a scarfy. Do like headband thing. Okay, i actually want to pull this one up, really quick while i put it on just so. I know how it's supposed to work. I feel like this one, like the reviews on this. One was like they were confused on how it worked, but um yeah. So she has this, isn't a lace front. It is more of a sort of headband wig type situation. Um there are there's only one comb at the very top there's none on the sides, comb in the back and adjustable straps, okay yeah. So this said that it says that it is a head scarf piece head: scarf, hairpiece, okay, let's try it out. The color is really pretty. I mean they did these colors so well, even the braiding is gorgeous. So this is the headband part. Look at that. Look at that. So it's one of those ones. That'S only it's sort of like a micro braid but they're, not super micro braid, but they're, the braids um, and then they just have this is so soft. Okay, let me get my thing back so i know so. I can read the chat all right. Let'S just try this. I have no idea what this is going to look like, so there is no adjustments. I guess, because you have the headband like you can make it tighter. If you need to okay all right, let me see okay, all right, so this is, if you can see this is like the headband, so you can sort of make it any way you want. If you wanted it to be like a full like this, she has it more. The braids are, are stunning there's nothing i can say so, i'm just looking at her pictures just to see how she has it okay, so she has it more down like this. Okay yeah, so she has it more. Not this down bear with me. This is just a try on this. Isn'T the real deal, so she has it sort of like this, it's down a little bit on her forehead and then back here and then tied. Let me just flip my head over, so i can tie it so you just so you just tied as tight as you wanted it. Okay, my thing is like really all you'd have to do. Oh, my my my my all you'd have to do is really get the scarf sort of where you wanted it. It'S very comfortable. Let me make sure i'm not missing anything in the chat here. Okay, linda hi, hi, baby, here's bb here you go. The windows are open, so now they all want to be all over the place. Um so linda says the braids are gorgeous they're gorgeous. They feel amazing and i kind of like that they're sort of right made. They have it in this color and then they do have it in a darker color. I mean they look beautiful, oh, come here, bb. These cats want to ignore me anytime. We want i want to get at my desk here so yeah, so you could move this back and have it be back a little, you could move it more forward and have it just be like this um the wig cap could go pretty big just because you're, Essentially, tightening it with the scarf so and with this one would be so cute to be able to do like you know, do where you could wrap these braids at the very top, be very easy to do very easy to do. Um karen yeah. I have some. If you look on my channel, i have some reviews, but i like the milano wig grip cap, so the one i have right now is the lace one where it has lace on the edge and in the part. But i have another one: that's just regular maeve. Let me know which color you decide on. I love this. I took a chance. I wasn't sure i was like because you know you see sometimes when you see them in the catalogs, they can look a little crazy or sometimes they look cute and you get them. I actually am planning a video on that to be honest with you, so we'll be talking about that, but today we're just gon na try on wigs, and this is now apolly young, yes see. Maeve says you can wear what braids you can wear braids just quickly without going into it. Um cultural appropriation is more where one culture is taking from another culture to benefit in some way, whether that's monetarily, whether that's to be suppressive whatever. That is, but you know, wearing braids is not exclusive. Necessarily so do you like my braids, i got ta take a drink, not an actual drink. This is uh sparkling water all right. So, let's move on to apolly young. These prices are a steal, a steal. So this is maya and she's in the color sf 33 24 4, which would be four and you get it they have. I may have gotten it: they have three other braided wigs and i may have gotten one other one so i'll see when i i don't like i said i haven't looked at these yet and i got maya for 47.99. Let'S look at maya, i always love the word. The name maya, this color is so similar to the last two. I had this color linda, get them like my tag line says life is short. You wear wigs, wear what you want. They have several other braided ones, though so just know like it's not just this one. So this is miss maya and she's in a stunning color whoa, so many things are falling out. Stunning stunning, there's silica packets for days in this. Look at that color. What wow? It'S really beautiful, i'm taking the one tag out because i know for sure i'm keeping it. This is beautiful. So this is a beautiful number four root. She is a full uh, full cap wig. She has no combs and no combs in the front or back, and she does have the um velcro adjustable straps. I don't even want to take this one off this one would be so easy, just just like say you're, going to like a barbecue or going to the beach or something you're just going to like kind of throw it on it'll keep the hair out of your Face um, so there you. So this is my wig grip cap with the lace. So you see the laces around here and here um it doesn't feel terribly heavy. But when i review it i'll make sure that i wear it a few times when i review it because it could potentially um you know just like some other wigs over the course of the day. I didn't feel uh. I didn't have an issue while it was on, but i would like to wear it at least for a few hours to let you know yeah, so they did deferred billing. That'S how i got all these because i actually have more um. They did deferred billing. So i won't even get billed until june or something all right. The especially yours does deferred billing too. What this is adore rubble. You know what this wig reminds me of. If you saw me, do the review of that ellen villa times, raquel welch, the mashup one. It was called main mono and it was in the rosewood rooted you've seen some lately, some wigs that say no cap, i'm not quite sure what that would mean if you saw that wig review or if you saw me in that wig, it's all over my instagram. This is very very similar to that one and that one you can only get in the uk. This color is stunning. What'S the color, this color is sf33 slash 24. I think got ta. Look in the mirror, slash 24, with a number four root. Yeah i mean they have this in the blonde rooted my friend beth at beth's best hair, i'm pretty sure she just got maya in a blonde rooted one. So you might want to check her out, like i said, i'm going to be doing a collab with her on tuesday, so you'll meet her and everything this is so lightweight. It'S so light. This is so summery. Has like a rosy, if you can, let me get closer if you can see these sort of rosy stripes, that's that 33 and then, with the lighter, highlights it's giving me a little bit of a like a darker pink. I love beth too uh. This is sf. 33 24 slash number four, which is the number four root, so the next one we're going to do is especially yours. This is the diana carroll and her name is missy and i have in the color 44 34 280, and i got this for 19.99 um. So our collab on tuesday she's doing a braided wig from the paula young side and i'm doing a braided wig from the especially your side. So you're gon na see like the two different types of braided, wigs um and options um. So i'm not showing i'm not unboxing that wig, because i that's part of the collab, but that was another diana carol. Oh it's! This color: okay, okay, okay, okay, so this color is sort of like a if you had brown hair and you were starting to grow gray and you wanted to kind of lean into it. That'S what this color is. I don't do a lot of those colors on my channel and i really wanted to so. Oh sarah, you ordered um. They were on a crazy sale, which three did you order? Okay, so this is miss who's. This missy this is missy, so this is the color. I hope this is showing up when i'm live. It doesn't show up as well as it does when i pre-film so you can see under here is sort of that like brownish dark brown, and then it is like some braid in with sort of the white and the gray. This is a full cap, wig and it does have bangs and she has no combs in the front, no combs in the back. What time tuesday, i'm not positive but it'll be like a premiere, so you'll see it come up. Um like ahead of time. She does have adjustable velcro straps, i don't know yet because i have to talk to beth. We can do something with her, but not on this one, so um it is a beautiful style and it is a mature style, but i do feel like you could definitely jazz her up. You know how i do, but i just don't have time to do that. Right now, all right, so let's move into um. Let'S do the last polly young one, and this is oh leah and she is in the color. I think it's f s f, 12, 28 a and i paid 40 and 19 cents wig cap man. All these colors are just really stunning. Kitkat is laying as long as possible. It'S really hot. Here. I think it's like 80 degrees. This is so pretty already almost fell out of my chair again, so she is a full cap wig. She has no combs in the front, no combs in the back, the velcro adjustable straps. I think this is the honey color i wish beth was here. She knows all the colors look at the beautifulness. I think this is the honey color, i'm pretty sure honey rooted. I it's not, maybe it's not rooted, but it's got this like it's brown blonde. But do you see this like beautiful brown, but it's giving me yeah. I want to get her on. It'S giving me get her on okay. This is definitely a wig cap that could go larger. I'M telling you that right now, bendable ear, tabs, okay, okay, okay, okay, all right, i think just finding the place to put the part that makes you feel the best is the key to this one, but this color - i don't want to go too too far with It because you know i like to say that for the review, but oh yeah, i definitely feel like this girl could be something so cute, tracy you're too much um. This is beautiful. I just have to. I just have to play because you know how i feel about bangs. You know how i feel about bangs. This color is stunning. I actually really love this wig. I can see me in this wig. This is the lightest wig like it's. It looks like a lot of hair and it is but it's almost like just puffed and look. You could easily put it super cute back or because it's the lace, you could pull this part up this one's making me happy. I'M sorry! This is stunning. What did i pay for this twenty dollars? Oh, this is this one, so this is a head. This is a headband wig from them too, but it's not braided. So i think you guys will really really like this, this one's on clearance, so if you want it, you're gon na have to um scoop it up quickly. Um this one. I had taken a chance on because she looked a little funky doodle in the you know. Those sometimes i think they just line the model up and they plop a wig on they're like taking photos, photos photos like sometimes some of the companies. You know they really style them up and for the most part on on the paula young and especially on the um, especially yours, they do really style them up, but these some of them. You know it's just like that's just how big companies are. Sometimes they just plop it on okay. So oh this is so cute. So this is a headband wig, look at the stunning color, and it has this beautiful, colored headband, but she's on she's attached by a snap. So you could snap it off and use a different headband if you wanted to so, oh yeah. So if you see there she's snapped on that's really clever. Actually so you could leave her on or you could put another headband on um she's, just like any other sort of headband half wig. She doesn't have any lace in the front. There'S one comb at the very top comb in the back: a no no adjustable straps. All right, let's get her on, i don't even want to take this one off. Alright, let's see what we got going on here. Sometimes it can be hard to get these combination ones on i'm gon na unsnap. This really quick and then i'll re-snap. It i mean they got a lot of snaps in here. I just want to unsnap it, so i can adjust it a little bit. Okay, one more snap, geez, louise all right, so you can bring this down all right now, we're in business all right. So that is so. You definitely have to have a headband with this because of the snaps, but you wouldn't really wear it. Without i mean it is a headband wig, that's the whole point um and then let me okay. So this is with her i'm just putting the headband on i'm not gon na snap it okay. This reminds me of the one from altrey that i was it violetta. I think it was where i just did the styling. This is a very, very light wig. This is a multicultural texture for sure this is a gorgeous gorgeous wig look. This is all the hair to the front. It is very lightweight, there's a tiny bit of texture, but not much. It'S just going to keep this style. This is a very, very multicultural style. This is miss ellis yeah, headband ball cap. So this is miss ellis and i got her for 20 dollars. It is gorgeous. I mean she's, going to be in that sort of 22 inch range. But honestly, it's not a ton of hair and i think it could really easily. Let me see yeah, you could really easily look put an adorable ponytail and then it's not too much hair to put in that ponytail or just the top part up yeah. This is uh stunning. Oh, the one thing that i got that i actually been using in some of my reviews is: i got this static, free, wig brush and it it was on sale and i got it for 3.19. I really love this. Yes, i can show the back kitten. What do you think tracy? Do you see like i'm in a video with the with the wind blowing? These are just tag things that i need to cut off. That'S not anything it's the tags where it was connected to this thing. This is comfortable and it kind of this headband goes with my makeup. Oh this makeup look is going to be on the members only and it's part of my wigs, zodiac and makeup. This is taurus. I don't see a ton of 1b, i'm assuming it's kind of like in the root area, but i don't see a ton of 1b to be honest with. I don't really see one b at all. Frankly, so for me it's more just the 33 26 t, but it's saying 1b, okay, um all right. Let'S do the last, especially yours that i got. This is another one that i got for 19.99 and her name is ardina or dina. Let'S go with that and the color is t4 27. lori yeah. That'S the color! It'S not giving me one b, but oh, this is the other braided one. So this is a braided one that has like a turban. It doesn't feel like a lot of braids. I mean, i guess you don't need a lot of braids recap um. So if you can see these are the braids, and these are definitely sort of my let me i got ta show you clothes. These are micro, braided. If you can see these are stunning. I actually had micro braids put in my hair, like when i was pregnant with avery and it took like so it was like 15 hours and i was so pregnant and i was just i was miserable. It was like the worst and it actually just has like. Oh, it's just like sort of like a hat wig type situation. So it's got the turbine. It'S not like a wig. It'S just um. The hair is attached to the turbine. I have done a few of these in the past and i actually kind of like them, especially like i mean i don't know how this one's going to look, but i like them in the fact that sometimes, if your hair is just thinning - and you just want To have a little something: it's not going to be like a full wig on your head or if it's like the summer and you you know, you want something to stick under your hat, but you don't want a full wig and a hat and everything these can Be very good for that. If you guys could see kit, she is living her best life, um yeah, there's no combs, no, nothing! So, let's see what it looks like. Actually, this is super cute. This is actually very cute and quite comfortable and quite oh, yeah quite comfortable, and i feel like especially like if it was, if you're going somewhere and it's going to be summertime, and you know you're going to be sweating um. This is so light and adorable, and then you can see the turbine or maybe you're just going through, like some treatments like or if you have like a scalp, that's um kind of sensitive. I really think, and if you wanted to you could put like like, i could pull down just like my widow, peak hair here, so i could easily now. Of course, this isn't the look, but you know what i mean. I could easily just do a tiny bit of hair there. Oh look at that. That'S so cute maeve. This was 20 bucks. It'S very comfortable. I think i have the tags, but i think even i don't know that i wouldn't put it yeah. I wouldn't put it back. I really like this a lot. I would not put it back um in a ponytail or anything. I think it's enough braids to look cute, i mean when you do micro, micro braids. It is sort of this there's, not a ton of them or your head will get super hot. Yes, yes, brenda all right! This is awesome all right. Let me do i'll. Just do one more polly young, which one do i wan na do all right. Let me do the this collins one because beth tried on collins and i thought it was so cute. So let's try that so this is paula young and it's miss collins. I have her in the color sf 12 28, which i think is honey. Right. Yes, linda told us, 1228 is honey, so this is honey and i got her for 56.99. This is comfortable and made. This is very stretchy and comfortable. This is like easy peasy. I needed to run to the store and i can't be you know i can't be bothered at all to do anything, but i still want to look cute okay. This is very comfortable, i'm very happy with my purchases from especially yours, okay, so this is a lace. This is miss collins and she is a lace just right there in the front monofilament and she doesn't have combs in the front. She does not have combs in the back and there are the velcro adjustable. Straps yeah see that color is so beautiful. It'S giving me brown with a little bit of blonde. It'S like you wanted to kind of go blonde, but you didn't want to take it like too too far. It'S just giving me fresh sort of summer uh spring summer, vibes in the color all right. Let'S get her on and see what's going on, yeah they have a nice selection out of especially yours, okay, bendable, ear tabs! Oh hey, hey! This is a lace front. So let me pull her back a bit this. This wig cap seems a little bit bigger than some of the other um poly young wig caps that i have encountered she's stunning. I would need to get her together and piece out some of these curls, but this is like really beautiful yeah and she does have sort of this lace in the front too. So that's really good. I'M gon na clip her back. So i can finish talking to you, but i like this one. This is pretty. I like how it gradually gets just a little bit darker um, you said head shot time, tracy right!
