My Relaxed Hair Wash Day | Wig Prep Routine | Dischem & Clicks Product Review | Rwandan Youtuber

Hey everyone! So this was…a situation. I decided to deviate from my normal ‘relaxed/texlaxed hair wash day routine’ and used products I used to use on my natural hair. The tangles! *sobs in remembrance* The lesson: stick to the status quo, hashtag High School Musical.

Products and Wash Day Routine:

1) Detangle:

Product: Aunt Jackie's Curls & Coils, Knot On My Watch, Instant Detangling Therapy Cream.

Routine: I usually use this product, which I love.

2) Wash:

Product: Aunt Jackie's Curls & Coils, Oh So Clean! Moisturizing & Softening Shampoo. (It is for natural curls, coils and waves but on the bottle it mentions that it is an excellent cleansing remedy for chemically-treat (relaxed or colored) hair).

Routine: I normally first go in with TRESemmé Care & Protect (Breakage Defence) Shampoo; my hair loves this and it lathers instantly. I go in with the Tresemmé shampoo just once then I use the ORS Olive Oil Shampoo. I go in at least twice with the ORS shampoo, my hair loves this too but it takes a while to lather so I usually use both shampoos.

3) Deep Condition:

a) Product: Aunt Jackie's Curls & Coils, Coconut Crème Deep Conditioner. I followed the intensive treatment directions.

Routine: I honestly did not mind this product, but I normally use the ORS Olive Oil Replenishing Conditioner.

b) Product and Routine: Cantu Shea Butter, Leave-In Conditioning Repair Cream. I followed the leave-in treatment directions. Apart from the white residue; love! (They mention that it's great for relaxed, texturized, coloured & permed hair).

4) Moisturise:

Products: ORS Coconut Oil Hair Food, ORS Olive Oil Hair Lotion and Perfect Choice Oil Moisturising Spray.

Routine: When my hair is dry, I base my scalp with the ORS Coconut Oil Hair Food; then finally massage the ORS Olive Oil Hair Lotion and Perfect Choice Oil Moisturising Spray through my hair.

* all the products mentioned above were purchased at Clicks and Dischem.

We'Re gon na do out here they're my new. I don't need a job. I don't need my parents. I'Ve got great boots boots. Whoever said orange is the new pink was seriously disturbed. You can't stick with us. Why is no one ready? I hope everyone's doing well. Thank you for tuning in so, as you can see by the title i am reviewing on jackie products. I don't want to hear that because, first of all, how do you know? How do you know that? That'S true, so i didn't just go in with on jackie's products. I went in with other products i was familiar with because i had really bad knots, so can do olive oil perfect choice, that's what i used. So i start off by detangling i section my hair in two halves and then quarters and then sometimes an eighth um and i go in from root to tip or i try to. Of course, the growth is a different texture to my hair, still falls forward for you and there's a visible difference. So that's me adding more product. We really like this. We i mean my siblings and i really like this and jackie the tango cream. So i split the back as well and yeah. That'S just me finger detangling, there's a lot of build up from where the braids sort of ended. Obviously i didn't have like knotless braids, and so there was not a built-up theme and that's the first half done so. The ends are still a bit curly, but i usually just comb that through so we do the same thing on the other side of it and use a product finger detangle, you get the gist that could have been a thumbnail like. I said we really like the product, but this is pretty much it and we're done next up. We wash our hair, so i start off by sectioning my hair into half thin quarters and i used aunt jackie's shampoo and it took a while to leather. So this was probably second or third wash and maybe that's why it tangled quite a bit because i used a lot of the product because it took a while to never. Maybe it's also the porosity of my hair um, but i'm not sure but yeah. So i'll go from root to tip for this next half i tried to wet my hair to soak my hair, let it um take in more moisture before i went in with a shampoo um, i'm not sure that helped. So i was using a lot of product. Part of me wanted to finish the product. Part of me just gets really impatient with things not leathering. I like to see it fully leathered on this, my hair, some strands of my hair r.i.p, but essentially i and that's not good to do because that's friction, but i think i was getting frustrated with it, just not leathering, so i usually massage the shampoo into my Scalp and then work my way down to the tips of my hair, so i think i'm pretty much done with washing it section by section then i'll go in with the head like altogether, essentially anymore. I i used a lot of product. Actually, maybe that was issue. Lastly, i wash my hair all together to ensure that my scalp is not really clean, of course, where you divide your hair into halfs, or you can sort of miss out on those spots, and so i go in at least twice. I think i went in more than once i mean twice here: um yeah, so the same sort of thing working from root to tip this time. I really thoroughly scrub my scalp and then wash with lukewarm water and, with the last wash always um use water. That'S slightly colder and that's pretty much it wash done next deep conditioning and look at that dreadlock, it's not even not so i didn't even bother to comb through. I just put a whole lot of the product on um. Four sections of my hair. Then did these little twists to get ready to go under the dryer? Don'T panic? That'S that's pretty much the look and that's it. So i don't have a fancy joy like a lot of people, so i'm just using a normal dryer when i'm at home um. This is me just trying not to panic, hoping that the dreadlocks dissolve. I did this for about 15 minutes a little fast forward, and then this was it. It kind of helped, but not really. I sort of gave up halfway like for real next tip leave in conditioner. I used cantu shea butter and this is a result of the leave in treatment. So i essentially applied a generous amount of cantu on my hair, put a plastic and lifted overnight and it really helped and that's it. The back was a lot better than the front um, and so i started off by combing my hair through at the back wide tooth comb fixing my hair and that's pretty much it. The problem with cantu is that it does leave a white residue. So you see this these white sort of marks there it sort of dries up that way. Um. But of course i was in. I was kind of panicked, so i used a lot of product, so don't use as much product i'd say, but even if you don't even when i ordinarily didn't it does leave a wide cost sorry to go, i did start with the back. You get the just. You don't have to see me struggle the struggle life that was going on here, so we're gon na do our hair. So this is my sister maureen. She inspired the healthy hair journey comment down below if you want to see her wash her wash day. So that's her and that's me and that's pretty much it cornrows done for a wig. Sometimes i would be too lazy and i'll just throw in a cap, but this how protect my ends, because, obviously i want to avoid friction. You know they don't plant to the very end of the hand, so you have to protect those ends since i'll, just stuck it in and either put a wig cap on and a wig or just leave it, as is a little length check. I but my camera died and that's my kim k long prop wig, it's my first week, so i'm very new to the wig game, hopefully i'll get better as time goes on anyway. Thank you so much for watching this video. I really hope you liked it. Hopefully i'll be making more videos showing my agent progression, so i am in wigs. You saw my combos now this is, i don't know what it is. It was in a couple of years ago, but buffalo closet. I got it. I just want to explain why i went ahead and used um products that are creating for natural hair. I thought hey i'll, take slacks and they won't be as bad right um, but i'm about to give a review on these. So i started off with with the instant detailed therapy - jackie, not on we've, been using this for years um and it's great for length, retention, um and obviously because you're preventing breakage so any time we take down hormones or take down a protective style whatever it is. This is great too, so what highly it if you're natural, if your text likes, if you're relaxed, if you have stray hair whatever this is, this is a great product when it went in. Obviously it was a risk, and i thought hey. Why do things in the house usually um? So i use this on t jackie, also clean moisturizing and softening shampoo, and my day you know it's detangling um head off for chronically dry hair. It is for natural hair um. It just doesn't go well with relaxed tape. Well, that's just my opinion. It doesn't go wrong with my hair. My hair is naturally foreseen, but i have relaxed it and it wasn't a text like state, i would say um and yeah it knotted down to electric. Even then i went in with the auntie jackie again, i made it with a coco repair team conditioner, and i followed the um as an intensive repair treatment and um. This wasn't that bad um. I don't mind it at all. Of course, my hair was super detailed super tangled when i use the shampoo, but this kind of helped, but not entirely so i lived on hiki altogether and i'll show you what product i used so then i went in with an absolute phase. I came to you that i made in conditioning repair cream and i i followed the direction of believe in treatments so yeah. So i would highly recommend this. Apart from the white residue, you hardly get any breakage um and when i had my hair knots and i tried to figure um detangled, this was great it's. It helps a lot of the detailing and strength in my hair and yeah. I was grateful for that and, lastly, to moisturize my hair. I used what i knew this time. I knew i used what i ordinarily would use on. My text like i said because i want to explore other products, but if it's not for relaxed hair and even if it's in the closet - and you want to just finish, the product recommend, give it to someone rather than damaging your hair. So i used this coconut oil hair food on my scalp, because i do myself is really sensitive. This is what i used um perfect choice and it's super duper: affordable, um, yeah, uh, yeah. I'Ve always been a fan of this obviously paired with something not necessarily olive oil. That'S what i paired with it's great to moisturize when your hair is dry and it's great to sort of keep the moisture and travel, moisture, chronically dry and crusty, and then i finished it with this. Okay, can i use this probably quite often as well so yeah? So that's it. Thank you so much for watching. I hope you liked the video please like comment, share and subscribe, and let me know if you want to see more of this or what you want to see now, if you two don't mind, i'm going to bed before either of you come up with another clever Idea to get us killed or worse expelled,

Tasha Tracy: absolutely beautiful I have to try Aunt Jackie's Curls & Coils, Knot On My Watch, dankie!

Norma Mongatane: I love your intro❤️. That hair sis‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️

Sapphire Relaxed Hair: Beautiful results

Domingo88: To see lather the hair needs to be soaking wet then apply the shampoo. Water removed from hair will not cause a lather. It has nothing to lubricate it against the strands to produce the lather.
