How To Use Metal Wig Clips

Hi, I'm Danielle with Godiva secret wigs today, I'm gon na be talking about the metal weight clip now. This clip is something that can be sewn into our wigs and is also in our top pieces, and it gives added security and a lot of people want to know exactly. How do you open and close this clip, and how do you use it with the wigs? So I'm gon na show you so first, let's take a little closer look at the wig clip. So this is our metal wig clip. So right now it's closed and then this way it's open and again here it's closed open. So all I'm doing is. I have my two index fingers on the bottom and my two thumbs on the top and I'm just pushing down on the top to close it and I'm using my index fingers pushed up to open it. So it's really simple and you'll, see, there's this little piece of rubber right here and that's what really grabs to the hair and makes it stay really well, one other point to show you is these little three holes on this side and these two holes on this Side skipping the gold, those are the holes you would sew when you're sewing this into your wig or you're, adding to your clip or to your hair piece. We have a separate video for that. So now, let's look at an actual wig that has the clips already sewn into it. So this awake, I've already sewn two clips into and I've sewn the three holes on one side, two holes on the other side on both this is at the top of the wig, and so I'm gon na use these to really secure the wig to my head. So right now the clips are closed. You can't see anything so I'm gon na push my thumbs or my thumbs are on on the wig side and my index fingers are up on the top and I'm pushing up with my thumbs and down with my index fingers. So I'm doing exactly what I was doing here this way, I'm just doing it with the wick, so I'm gon na open it and I'm gon na open the other side, and now I'm gon na put the wig on. Did you know I was wearing leak? I'M gon na put the wig on just as if the clips weren't, even there first, so I'm gon na just put it on like normal. I'M gon na start blowing my eyebrows and I'm gon na pull it right over and then the important part is I'm gon na slowly slide the wig back and when I'm doing that it's kind of like the clips or a comb and they're calming into my hair. Now, what I'm gon na do is I'm gon na feel on the top and find where those clips are and the two sides of the clips, which is basically here and here at the two sides. I'M gon na find this way. I'M gon na find where the sides aren't I'm gon na push down on them, which is closing the clip so over here. I'M finding it hear that snap I pushed down and that closed I'm gon na do the same on the other side, find it push down and it's closed the other way you can close it if you can't find them is by going under the underneath part and Again right now it's open and I'm closing it. So once it's closed I mean you can pull it. It is not going anywhere. This is a Madison by the way, but I'm I can pull this wig and literally it's not gon na go anywhere and you can put the clips wherever you want, just depending where you want more security now to take off the clutter, wig, you want to undo The clips first so I'm gon na put my thumbs on the inside and my index fingers on the top and I'm pushing down with my index fingers and up with my thumb's on both sides. It'S really important to undo these before you try and take your wig off and now the easy way to take it off is more from the back, so I'm lifting it from the back and then down from the front, and otherwise, if you're pulling it off. This way, you're just pulling the combs tighter and tighter. So that's how you use the metal wig clips. You would use them the exact same way in your top pieces or anywhere else you want to so these clips in there wonderful, wonderful clips and they really add security.
