Hi there YouTube family and welcome into part two of my skin and hair care. These were going to be way too long, because I had too many products to talk about, so I thought I better go ahead and split this video into two parts. I will link below or right here in a card the video about skin care that I did. This is just things that I've been really loving, that I wanted to talk to you about that. I know have worked for my hair and they just make my hair kind of go to the next level, and I'm really happy about that, and just so you guys know, I don't necessarily cover all the bases here. As far as you know, top to bottom haircare. I don't have a favorite conditioner and I don't have a favorite dry shampoo, just so you guys know so these are other products that I use on my hair. Let'S get into this haircare that I want to show you, okay, one of the things that I love is the big sexy hair extra volumizing shampoo. I have very fine and limp hair. I you know, I curl it and I do a lot with it to get some body in it to this point, to get it to look like this, but I don't just need a volumizing shampoo, because sometimes there are other concerns like in this light right here. I know my hair looks really yellow, but I tried to stay that off by using a violet shampoo, and so I use the jointkote color balanced purple shampoo, which I love, because it is like purple purple and when you first see it you'll be really surprised. So hope, so what I do you guys? I use this at least halfway and then I will dump a probably three-quarters of a bottle into this and then also along with that. This is my new bottle of extra-strength biotin shampoo. This is more like you want to massage your scalp with it type thing. You know it says: high-performance anti, hair loss, shampoo, enriched with biotin beet complex, be complex and blended, with 11 nutrient rich botanicals that aim to block DHT DHT has been known to actually attack the follicles and make the follicle the hair fall out of the follicle. So that's what we're trying to do away with and then this has an ingredients in it that actually stimulates growth. So I combined these three in this bottles, so I have these three products. As my shampoo, I don't necessarily just need volumizing, but I do want it and I definitely want to try and stave off my hair falling out with the biotin shampoo, just a really good shampoo. Now I will tell you this: has a very vitamin herbal smell to it? It'S not a really light smell to it. It'S quite strong, but I know that it's working when it has that kind of a smell. So that is one thing that I want to tell you about: it's not terrible smell or anything like that. It'S just not the typical smell of a shampoo that they put in there to make it. You know more pleasing to everybody, but definitely one that is enriched with a lot of good things for your hair. If you have hair care and concerns now, speaking of which, if you do have that loss of hair every morning and night, if you are experiencing hair loss, this is the minoxidil extra-strength. It says for men, which is 5 %. Okay, I was told by a dermatologist that if you have hair loss, it's okay to use this strong strength. It'S not that it's gon na make you grow hair, where you don't want to, because you put it directly on your scalp and then you give your scalp a really really good massage. It'S just that. It'S super strengthen the women's one is 2 %. I think, and so that is kind of why they it's just a marketing thing, I think, but my dermatologist, because I had so much hair loss, said, go ahead and use the 5 %, so I'm like hey stronger, is better I'm gon na go for it. So I do really enjoy this when I lost all that hair last year I was devastated and I didn't know what to do. I started using this and within a month it had almost halted the hair loss and I could see teeny tiny little fresh little sprouts. Now that hair is probably about this long and it's what's giving me all this fullness to my hair. I know that I'm gon na start to lose some of that because I'm losing weight, but this will help keep that at a minimum and if you have hair loss and you notice that your hair volume is just not what it used to be. Give this a try: it's not very expensive, for a three pack and in three months, you'll know whether or not it's really something for you. So this is one that I really love. Like I said I haven't found my Holy Grail dry shampoo. If you guys know of a really good dry shampoo, will you let me know in the comment section below. I would love to know that, but I do have some other styling products that I use. This is from Kendra. Kendra is one of my favorite haircare brands. I just find that just about everything I use from them has been a hit, so I definitely stick with them. This is the blow-dry spray, and this is a thermal protectant. It advances the drying time so supposed to cut down on the drying time. By about a third, what I do with this is after I've put on whatever I'm going to use for our hair, protectant or thermal protectant to protect my ends, whatever I've done there, I spray this. In my hand, it is an oily product, so you know so if you spray this on your hair, you're gon na feel like your hair's too oily. So don't do that. I spray this in my hand. One pump for my fine hair is good and then I rub it between the two and I just kind of get the ends. I don't want to get like clear down in I get the ends, and then, when I I get my lengths together, and I rub it across there to help dry that I feel like it helps protect it from the blow drying. Even though I don't use heat, I actually put mine almost on a cool setting, my blow-dryer, but I do feel like it gives it that extra protection and it does dry a lot quicker. So I really do like this and it lasts a long time because you're just using one pump. So that's good! Now, when I'm doing my hair and curling it you know so lots of days. I just leave my hair straight, whatever it looks like throw it up in a bun. I don't care, but when I am curling my hair, I use the Kendra thermal styling spray firm, hold number 19, and what I do with this is after the hair is completely dry right before you go in. I just spray this everywhere I lift and spray, and I just you know, get it everywhere and what I find that this actually does. As I'm working through my hair is, it does give a little bit more stiffness to the hair, so be aware of that. You are gon na, have a little bit more stiffness, but it brushes quite easily. It'S not a problem, and but it makes the curl hold. So much better and because it does have again the thermal protectant you're gon na notice that your hair is not splitting it's not getting burnt. It'S not. You know all that stuff from styling blow drying that we do get really really like this. I'Ve been using this for years and years. Okay, this one is from Oscar blonde day. This is called hair lifts, thick thickening and strengthening mousse. Okay, guys, this stuff is no joke stiff and when you put it in your hair and you, you know, you use it at the roots, and then you blow-dry your hair you're, going to notice some really good volume thickness. It really does coach your hair and make it thick. I want to reiterate to you that if you are not somebody that washes your hair every day or every other day, you might not like this, because it is one that you can tell you have a styling product on your hair, but when I'm ready to go To any sort of an event, I've got a wedding. I'Ve got a special occasion, a party I need to go to. I need my hair to last all day long. This is my friend and if you have shorter hair, it also works really good on it. I'Ve tried to do on my mom's hair was really good on my mom, so she was a really short hair and it just helps her style just stick in there it but, like I said it is a very stiff product and the only reason I mention it Is because it is one of those ones that just does exactly what you need it to when you need that extra punch for your hair to be able to stay all day. So this is a mousse that I really really love have not found another mousse that I love on a daily basis. You guys can, let me know those down in the comment section: I'd love to know that okay, this is the bumble and bumble bee sick spread of powder. Okay, this is a dry powder that gives you a huge ton of texture, and I I really like it. You guys you tap it out and you use so little. It has one tiny little hole right here. You guys so I'm going to just give you just a tiny bit of a demonstration here. We'Re going to part my hair right here and we're going to take this powder and we're just going to go right there just a little bit. I hope you guys can see that I'm trying not to use very much and I'm trying to look in this mirror down below. But if you take that that gives you your hair so much stiffness, and then you just kind of go through it and look what it did right here. It gave me all kinds of volume now, normally I would put it in there after I had done some back combing on my hair, but it definitely gives you that volume or that just lift that you can't get from any other product. You can use more of it, you can use less of it. It just depends on what you're trying to get out of it when I use it, I'm trying to get a lot of volume in my hair. So if I'm really curling my hair, I want a pretty updo. It will give me tons of volume in my hair to pull that updo up and then have all of this be really voluminous or if I'm wanting to you know, give my hair a lot of height right here in the crown I I will use it clear Up to the front here so really have been enjoying that and then the last thing is my gold standard standby. I have never strayed from this and every time I think that somebody recommends a really good hairspray. I go back to my kenra and it's because I use so little of this for such a big payoff. This is the best hair spray in 25 years that I have been using and honestly, I have been using it for twenty five years. It is just that good, it is a little bit more stiff. So when you spray it on you're gon na feel your hair is just a little bit more stiff, but the one thing about it is that stiffness doesn't last very long. You can still have movement in your hair if you need your hair to stick exactly where you want it to then you're definitely going to want to you know not, you know, move it, move it around too much. You can get so much lift and so much pretty volume from this, though I'm telling you guys, oh my gosh, I overdid it, but I'm telling you guys that it definitely gives you so much volume and it lasts. It lasts all day. It'S really good through humidity. It'S really good through you know long long days. Anything like that and I swear by it. So this is my favorite okay, you guys. That is everything for my haircare video. Hopefully you guys are all having a great day. You are the best part of my day. You all take care of yourselves and I'll, see you in my very next video bye, bye, guys

Sally Anderson: Hi Melissa! Excellent video! We have the same type hair. I’ll be trying out some of these products for sure! Your hair looks great! Hugs

A. Smwood: I've used the Sebastian Shaper and Shaper Plus for over 25 yrs and I always end up going back to it! It's weird how even years later we love what we love!!!❤

Joy Wind: Tati recommends Pantene Pro-V dry shampoo. It is GREAT. Drugstore find! It works well to remove oil from the scalp. Thanks for another good video. Love how you share information.

Kimberly McLees: Your hair looks amazing! I'm so intrigued by the powder. My scalp can get dry in the winter and I wonder if that would make it worse. It seemed to really pump up your hair so I'd love to try it. I'm not a big dry shampoo user but my daughter swears by Living Proof. And she has long beautiful hair. Have a great week, Melissa!

Sheli Keyes: I'm a Kenra girl too! Love the lasting mousse because I have some natural wave and don't always blow dry. I didn't know about biotin shampoo but my biggest difference has been with Halo Beauty hair skin and nails vitamins. Amazing actually. Take a lot of drugs for rheumatoid arthritis (for about 25 yrs) and it really brought my hair back. Going to try the shampoo mixing. Have used Redken for years. You look great btw!

Rene Klein: Thanks Melissa for all the great advice. My hair has been thinning for quite some time. Due to medications and age. My dermatologist also told me to use the men's version of minoxidil, but I'm terrified of side effects, since it is a drug. I also heard it can make your hair quite greasy. Have you found that to be true? I don't wash my hair daily, so I don't want to look like an oil slick! Have you found this to be the case? For now, I use a great fiber filler called Fibolica. So much better than Toppix. You look fantastic, and I hope you are feeling great. Big hugs sweetie❣❤

June Harrop: Great video Melissa. Looking gorgeous as always ❤️ xx

The Baking Diva: Hi, I enjoyed watching your video and also reading some of the comments that others have used on their hair. My hair is straight as a poker and I’m always looking for products to give it volume. Thanks for sharing and I’ll see you soon. Hugs, Dolores

Vickie Cole: My favorite dry shampoo is the Batiste clean and bare!!! So good!!!

Pat Mear: I'm a big fan of Kendra products. I'm glad they work for you, too, but I'm especially glad to see how healthy and happy you seem...and if course, I love those dimples! Stay well. ❤

Jennifer Lyons: Although I don't need anymore volume to my hair I like hearing about new, to me, products that work.

Debbie Swindell: I thought the volume you created in your hair was just perfect! Not too much at all. Also, I applaud you as you teach us the good benefits of these products. Thanks for doing this video. I use Aveda and they are all natural. It is pricey but worth it. Their haircolor is never brassy however if you do tend to pull the reddish side they have "Blue Malva" shampoo. It's the best anti-brass shampoo in my opinion. Take care!!!

Muchelle Eaton: Girl, my hair has been a source of contention my entire life. I was born with the most thin, fine hair. And now that I am 53, menopause... Hair fallout is crazy and soooo traumatic. My hair is so fragile. Stress, and I have A LOT, affects hair fallout like crazy. I use a biotin shampoo and conditioner (can't remember the name of it) and a keritan deep conditioner once a week. Still I'm stressing about my hair. It seems the more product I use, the worse it gets, so I don't put anything but a little fine mist hairspray to hold. I HAVE to wash daily, or I can't do a thing with it, but it's sooo bad for it. I haven't colored in years, thank God I only have a few grays lol. It won't grow for crap, gets split ends in a heartbeat. I trim it myself, cause I literally refuse to pay someone to trim my "3 hairs". Most people have more bangs across their forehead than I have on my entire head. The struggle is real. I am keeping this vid to look back and maybe try a product here and there to see if it works for me. Thank you so much for sharing, hope you are doing well

Wendy D: I have a Kenra favorite too. I love the dry oil spray. Another favorite is Pureology or Chi dry spray conditioner. They're game changers for second day hair.

Debbie Sanders: You look so good, I have to say THANK YOU , THANK YOU for this video. My hair use to be so thick now im working at trying to make my hair look fuller on top. I really appreciate this video. ❤

kandy hoffman: My favorite forever hairspray for my thin hair is paul mitchell stay strong. It smells good too.I just cant handle the smell of kendra. The paul mitchel gives you so much volume and it isnt sticky.

Pam Herald: I am always looking for products that give me volume! I have your hair, fine and flat. If I don't use a sticky firm hold spray I have flat icky hair all day. I have the big sexy hair powder and some Living Proof sample sizes of shampoo and conditioner. Love your idea of mixing the 3 in that big bottle. Going to try Kenra! Thanks for this! You look beautiful! :)

Renee Kerner: My hair is very fine and limp also. Absolutely positively the best mousse is the Matrix voluminous. I have used it for over 20 years, stupidly tried others. NOTHING works better for fine hair. Also, Nioxin is a great shampoo.

Josie F: Thank you so much Mrs. M for sharing this amazing video with us for that we are immensely grateful ❤

Corrie E.: Great video! Have you ever tried collagen? I take the powder everyday in my coffee and wow! My hair and nails have gone wild like weeds. You look soo happy! Looking forward to your next video!

Tamera's Creative Casserole: Your hair looks awesome! I use the Biotin shampoo and love it. I also use the violet shampoo to keep my silver non brassy. I love your nail color! What is it?

KathysBeautyCareChats: Great tips sweet Melissa!! I need some kenra!!! Love the powders!!! Love that sexy tousled look on you!!! Ok the volume hairspray. Trying it! Great great video sweet girl!!! Love you!!

Neecy Watson: I combine products in my shampo also!! I am going to try the volume shampoo. Thanks!!!

Theresa Vickroy: Mrs. M., I watch several beauty gurus and you are a favorite! I trust your recommendations far more than most in the beauty community! I look forward to your videos because I know you will be giving an honest review, you're like the cool sister who has all the beauty secrets, tried and true advice, thank you, oh and by the way you look great!

Angela Jane Lomax: Great reccomdations, I tried the Kenra it does what it says, but here UK it's too expensive for me. Looking good sis stay well xxx

linda dee: Hey Mrs :-)) I have the same hair as you Melissa :-( Ive always used hair moose for years and years. Its getting the right product to work lol. I have used some products and then my hair feels really heavy to post i can't even brush it. Im reading about the Bumble and Bumble powder, I've never heard of it so might give it a try :-) My hair is acting super strange just now cos of menopause grrrrr. oxoxoxox

Moriganna Brown: Wow some great tips here. I have very fine hair too. I also have naturally curly hair that I am retraining to get the curl back. It has and the humidity is horrible because it makes my hair so frizzy. I need an anti-frizz product. I also get my hair coloured every few months. It is red and black which is a combo I love on myself. ANyhow great video girl and I hope you are well. I have been thinking of you. xo

Marian Russom: Melissa, I'm a new, But you brighten my day so much. I am trying a shampoo Actiiv for thickening new growth. Sharon Caphart shared this in one of her videos and she was sooo excited about it, She felt it worked. Well I will soon be in my 2nd tube, I do think it has helped but I am not sure that there is a miracal (spelling) any where ! I will tell you it is expensive and so is the conditioner. But if it works then it is worth it.It takes a small amount...last around 3 months??? Look at her video and see what you think and do your OWN research. i still feel like my hair is thinning maybe due to being anemic and under alot of stress. I am trying to de-stress but for me it seems like my normal state. Thank you for your sunny presence. From hot Texas, Love ya!!! Marian

Valerie talks 2 much: It's so great to see your smiling face!

Living Life With Queenie: Hi there! I found you through Pretty Over Fifty's video that I was also featured in! I'm so excited to meet you and to get to know you better! Xoxo ⭐️

christine ronewicz: Great video :) ♡... i got tired of my gray hair...and before labor day i dyed it blue lol...

Marian Russom: P.S. More info from Marian Sharon Capehart...".Hair growth 1 inch a month "(video) about 5 months ago also look at Tammy's Ageless Beauty " Healthy Hair Routine" Maybe way to many steps and PRODUCTS but her hair is AWESOME!!!!! She also has a current one on shopping at Sephora now. Love again, Marian

Elizabeth -: man o man. I bought some of the Kenra #12 Mousse & I'm returning it. It is SO SO sticky & it smells so strong. It smells like old school Aquanet! I dried my hands out too & they reek of the perfume in it also.

Carmella B: You are looking amazing! Not that you didn’t before... but WOW!

Laura Murphy: You look absolutely beautiful!

Renee Kerner: Going to try the Oscar Blondi mousse just for the heck of it.

Katrina P: Great info, question the Kenra 25 hairspray is it brushable? I'm looking for light hold and brushable. TY

Beth Hughes: Wow Melissa! You look great!

Sherry Irwin: So how long have you been using the bitten and how long was it before you noticed the difference in hair loss. How often do you wash your hair? I try not too as much as I can help it but...we live in the south biloxi Mississippi and it has been so horrible this summer and the heat mixed with me trying not to wash ever couple days really messed up my scalp I got basically acne bad pimples in my scalp from all the sweating! So I’ve been washing it everyday for the last couple of weeks and it’s clearing up. I hate washing it everyday bc my hair is thin and fine like yours and at 52 and menopausal I’m losing hair too, but I can’t have a head full of painful pimples either!! I haven’t found a good dry shampoo that works really well I just ordered aveda dry shampoo powder. I tried it tonight the powder is weird but the smell is really good and it soaked up any oil I had in my hair and scalp

Gloria Dorlich: Thank You Sweet's

Tinytitan: I have short hair but liked the video anyway!

Amy Estrada: Did you imply that there is a correlation between weight loss and hair loss? Or is that just something that happens to you? I’m just curious. I doubt seriously that there’s any weight loss in my near future...

Michelle Madewell Fred: I love he Big Sexy Hair shampoo. Great video my friend. You’re looking gorgeous. You seem a little brighter, like relieved. I’m so happy to see your videos. You make my days.

Anna Ibbotson: Melissa you are looking beautiful xxxxxx

helpfulnhappy:

Melanie gorniak: I didn’t get my notifications for you that you uploaded my is click I didn’t get anyone’s today , that I have my notifications set for. Great video as always love ❤️ Melissa.

Dee Dee Bean: Where do you purchase the Kirkland it’s not listed below.

Renee Kerner: Kendra
