Consumers say Monat hair care products causing loss of hair, rashes

Thinning hair and a painful itchy rash. Those are just some of the complaints from users of a trendy hair care product line. They want that product taken off the market. The i-team's courtney garish has our report. A West Allis woman told us after five months of using Monique products, her hair started falling out in clumps and she developed a painful red rash. Now she wants others to be aware of what happened to her. I'Ve heard about money on social media, Rebecca Schneider, started using Monat hair products. Shortly after she had a baby. Her hair was falling out and she wanted to keep it from getting worse. I wanted to grow beautiful hair for the first few months. She used the product. She says they worked great and shiny hair. It was, I felt like it was growing, but then it's getting lots of hair falling out when I was washing noticed. My hair is getting very, very thin. Snyder says her. Hair was also very dry, then came a rash on her neck and chest. It was very, very painful. She eventually went to the doctor. All my blood work came back normal everything was fine. She researched Monat, hair products and learned she was not alone. I discovered that there were hundreds of women and men that were experiencing the hair loss, the breakage, the dryness, the rashes, the other other problems and symptoms that I was having, while using the products line. Multiple class-action lawsuits filed against Mon eight accused the company of fraud and deception, alleging an inherent design, and/or manufacturing defect in Mon eight hair products, causes significant hair loss and scalp irritation to many consumers.
